Welcome to Gaia! ::

*Sprite wanders through the gardens in till she finds a quiet empty clearing. She sits down on a wrought iron bench and pull a worn book from some where. “Finally some where quiet,” she thinks to her self, “all the people inside were starting to get to me.” She opens her book and starts to read.*
Anneliese was starting to get claustrophobic outside. It was hot, it was crowded, thousands of Gaians and Grunnies were packed into a tiny space... and the host of the party wasn't even there! Quite offensive, in her opinion.

Breaking outside, finally, she entered the gardens, which were still sweetly reminiscent of the flowers which a few short months ago had been gracing the arches, the benches, the stone. Now they were all dead, or dying... or just retreating into their sleep for the winter. Barely noticing Sprite for a moment, she paused and breathed in the peace of the moment. Finally, the sound of Sprite turning a page startled her, as well as the collective quiet in the garden. "Oh, hi," she said, sounding startled but friendly nevertheless.
*after falling off the roof. Night is glad to get away from all the noisy people in side the huge mansion, "they were giving me a bad headace". while wonderin the garden he finds a nice quiet tree and sits and falls asleep
*Anikat comes in and sits under a tree meditating, enjoying the quiet*
Deus strode through the gardens in the middle of the night. He sighed as he stared up at the moon, which was full, and it seemed to have a different glow about it. He cocked his head and tried to understand it, but figured it was just the weather. He walked over to an area, well light with moonlight, and laid down, staring at the sky.

"Wow..."
*Sprite finishes a page and looks up. She sees several people around but they all look just as glad as she is to be free of the crowds quietly, tentatively she says, "Hi."*
As others began to enter the garden, she smiled at them. "Getting hot and crowded in there, isn't it?" she asked, offering a friendly grimace. She had always hated large gatherings of people... there always tended to be the 12-year-olds looking for "bfs 2 luv 4eva!!!!1!!1" and the people that were all "Oh, I'm better than you because my avatars worth 125k and yours is only worth 5k!!!1!1" Groaning mentally, she brushed back her hair, sitting on a bench beneath an arbor, heavy with a vine beginning to curl up and prepare for the long winter ahead. Smoothing her skirts, she looked at the others, with a cool, but nevertheless kind smile on her face.
Kakumei, Goddess of the Revolution, strode out from behind the large tree littered with sakura. She placed a graceful toe before heself and began to spin, dancing in the cool night air. "Dance with me, spirit of the cherry blossom trees, and you too, spirits of the air. Dance for the world to see, and calm the hearts of others."

She began to move rhythmically to an unknown meoldy, as fluid wisps of pink and silver began to dance around her as she spun left, twirled right, and leapt high into the air, sustained on the breath of her own pure heart. The wisps took form, grand spirits of the air and of ther blossoms dancing around her, making the heart stronger.

She sighed, slowly coming down to the earth, thanking the spirits for their dance. As the music began to vanish, she threw her head up, her short hair blowing gnetly in the wind. "I wonder if anyone else was drawn to this tree..." and she rested her back against it, staring up at the moon.
Anneliese threw a glance at Kakumei. Is she crazy? the girl couldn't help but wonder to herself. Excluding Druids, which I am certain she is not, who in their right mind sings to trees? A cruel part of her mind wondered, Do they talk back? Biting back a snicker aloud at this, she threw a guarded smile at Kakumei, and talked down to her slightly, like a mental hospital's nurse to an inpatient. "Hello. Did the hot air in there get to you?" Although she didn't mean it like that (okay, maybe she did), the question developed a double meaning the instant it was out of her mouth.
Aye, you hit the problem exactly on the head. I couldn't take any more of the preteen drama so I decide that I might as well come out here and spend some time with some intelligent people. *Pets he book lovingly at following this comment. *
Kakumei flashed a comic smile. "Oh, no. I'm not crazy at all. Where I come from, my people all have the power to become in sync with the spirits of nature and emotion. This tree was calling out for someone to spend time with its inhabitants, so I came out and performed the Ritual of Freedom for it." She laughed a little at how confused everyone was when she explained that.

She realized now that there were other people in the garden. "Oh my, I didn't realize so many people had come out of the mansion! Sorry to have startled you all. This tree was in need of freedom. Don't any of you have a connection with something in the world?" She summoned the spirit of a cloud to sit on as she waited for a reply. "I suppose if you don't it doesn't matter at all. Pleased to meet all of you!"
Pleased to meet you too, it's so nice to see that some people are not afraid to show a little originality.
"I could gladly teach you the Dance of Freedom, if you'd like to learn." Kakumei bade the spirits of the air a thankyou as they vanished. She walked over to sit nearer to the rest of the group. "It's really not that different from the Dance of Memories." She realized she was going on about herself.

"Oh my, there I go again! I get quite carried away when it comes to song and dance. You see, the way I can communicate with the spirits is through song and dance. Listen." She called the spirit of song and a serene melody filled the air, spinning towards the moon. As they did so, Kakumei again got up and began to move her arms, spinning. The song came to a quiet hum, and the moonlight got brighter, filling the clearing with what she hoped was a sense of peace.

"Sprite, don't you or any other of your people come from a place of magic?"
Ihe only magic where I come from is the magic that happens on a stage or in the pages of on of my books. I wish there was more really macig there but I guess that's just the way things go.
"So make the books a reality. Write your own, make them come alive, and draw your power from there. Everyone has magic they can rely on."

Kakumei rested underneath the tree whose spirits she had freed, resting her back on the mighty trunk.
