I wanna see this movie so freaking badly!!

What do you guys think?

Have any of you read the book?

Sorry if this is a repeat thread; I didn't check and I just saw the commercial for this on television for the first time today.

I was so excited when I saw the trailers and critic reviews for this movie. And I did like it, but I think having a stronger antagonist would have pushed this movie from good to great.

I read the book, and in that aspect it was a little disappointing.
But it's really great regardless. ^^

♠ Oh GOD I saw the movie on opening night and it was BEAUTIFULL.

Like honestly, it was fabulous. I can totally see why Scorsese decided to adapt the novel into a movie. Loved it to piecesss~

It seems pretty cool, I love those 'rediscovering childhood' stories.
Oh, by the way, the one rule with books that have been made into movies, is that you either see the movie, or read the book. NOT BOTH. It'll ruin one of the two for you.
