Anyone seen David Fincher's new film? He's gone back into the dark psyche he's known best for, with the police procedural taking on the widely acclaimed Girl With the Dragon Tattoo book.
I definitely thought it blew away the original film adaption, but some of the way we the audience learn of plot points and revelations felt a bit off, and the emotional payoff with the main climax I felt was done better in the original movie. I don't think I'll be able to think of Enya's "Oronico Flow" in the same way again
Im a huuuuuge fan of David Fincher, especially Se7en, The Game, Zodiac, Fight Club and Benjamin Button. Even with the use of digital video he's able to get a very 35mm film look.
Also, once again Trent Reznor delivers an amazing soundtrack
