Howdy, I'm new to Plush making and have a few questions.

To people who have used This site, what fabric is best to work with for a Plush doll of a Person?

My goal is UFO Catcher style like this:
Example Example

Which works best for Small plush, and which for big plush? Is there one that can work for both?

It doesn't have to be from the provided link, it's just the most recommended website I could find.

Here
is the desired character.

Since the fabric will be an internet order, I would love to know which color best matches her skin.

I already have Minky for hair, I'm just had no luck finding Skin Tone Fabric that isn't stretchy.
Felt would be the easiest, but if you use it "wrong" it can look cheap and tacky. It's hard to describe what the "wrong" way to use felt is... but lets just say that some people just can't use it very well! haha. If I use felt, it would be for the skin and nothing else. It doesn't stretch at all unless you pull really hard and tear the fibers.

Deersuede is very nice for a more professional looking doll. It's soft (felt is usually kind of scratchy), and it stretches a little bit but not a lot.

It looks like the plushie you linked to was made of fleece (which stretches a little).

The doe suede is the only thing I've ordered from there. I think you'd want the chamois color. It's slightly paler and yellower in real life, but it's the one that's supposed to be a Caucasian skin tone, and it's fairly close. Technically it has stretch, but the stretch isn't very noticeable. It feels like moleskin but slightly less soft.

Ah thank you so much!
It's a pain ordering online for a beginner project, but all of our fabric stores had nothing close...
I'll look into it and thank you again.
