Welcome to Gaia! ::

Crappy pictures from my phone.

The yarn is 100% alpaca. And yes, the feel is magical!

Very cute!
Most of my knitted BJD hats are chunky because I don't have the patience to work with sock weight yarn, hahaha.

Its the same as knitting a human size hat. This is actually my first test with sports weight yarn, I usually use lace yarn.
The first one looks totally awesome!

Well, I understand that it's the same technique. It's just that when you use thicker yarn, it comes out a lot more "chunky" looking, you know? If you use a yarn as thick as your thumb to make a human hat, it's gonna look chunky. Worsted weight yarn is finger-thick yarn for dolls. hahaha.

I'm just too impatient to work with anything very small when it comes to yarn-size. Using something meant for socks or lace makes my brain hurt, even if doing it on small projects like doll hats.

Nice gauge and weight! The hats really fit the dolls' size.
