I don't quite understand why there are so many curves. Any kimono I've ever owned or even seen is all straight rectangles (with MAYBE a rounded corner on one end of a sleeve). I'm curious as to what kind of pattern you used.

The fabric is still pretty nice though.

Yeah, well... It's easy to tell how strict the definition of "kimono" is.
