Surprisingly they DO have little kilns you can put in a kitchen microwave. I've never used one myself but I have seen things made with them.

probably not as nce quality as what you're making but for me it may be worth a try.

so do you have your kiln around your house? my husband actually wants to get into smithing one day and wants to build a forge on our property if the city allows it, if he does that ive been very interested in the idea of getting a kiln for myself

I technically own four kilns xD
Two of them I dont use. One is just too small at the volume of work I have to put out and the other is so old I am afraid to plug it in. My garage is sealed off and turned into a studio space where I have my 2 foot in diameter kiln that I use for pretty much everything.

I've seen people pop out some neat stuff with the microwave kiln. My stuff comes out nice because I shape and polish everything I work on because Im a perfectionist whee
