I knit like a fiend and dabble in crochet. Even with my inexperience, it's mind-boggling how fast crochet goes.

Eerie... I've made some... well, kitty hats -- white, with a red bow (*innocent expression*) -- for some friends lately. One of my friends had me make one to send to her niece, whose mother then wanted a gray one -- and has mentioned a few times that if I were to make a variety of different animal hats, she's sure they'd sell like crazy in her area (specifically, Alaska -- I'd never have predicted they'd need to import hats, actually). Now I'm wondering if they're a trend I've been oblivious to! xd

I can knit and crochet. I started by teaching myself to knit.... then I taught myself to crochet (with the help of a book and the internet). I find that I prefer crochet these days. As mentioned above, partly it is due to time. I also seem to find more patterns I like are in crochet. ^_^
