How do you make an anime plushie?

I know a little bit about sewing and am currently taking a sewing class but I would really like to know how to make a plushie. I could use some good tutorials that will help me easily understand how to do anything that will help me get started. Patterns would also be appreciated. sweatdrop Oh and I was wondering what materials are best to use and what the best technique is for the eyes.

It's heart Remus Lupin heart from Harry Potter. I was able to find great faux fur online. It's brown with grey streaks in it.
I hope this image works. lol. I always have the worst luck with stuff like that.

i would suggest geting some patterns and some musslin first to make a test to make sure you can work with the pattern, then once you get everything cut out and ready to be sewn and stuffed, i would use embroidery floss or the face and smaller details, or even buttons, but you can even get ready to use screw in type eyes which are fun too
