Hello T&C, this is my first time posting here, haha. >u<;
At least I think it is.. anywho!

I'm still semi-new to crocheting and was just wondering, where did you guys all start!
Do you have any particular websites you frequent?
Any crochet youtubers you follow?

Let me know! I definitely want to start up some crocheting again, and would love to get this whole thing down pact!
Share your tips with me, and anything you guys have learned! I'd love to hear from you~

Hellerrrrrr.

I started making blankets with my aunt around the age of 16/17.
I have been turned onto this site for crochet patterns and such,
but admittedly, I have never learned to read a pattern.
It was just shown to me how to make a blanket,
& I started making things since then.

I actually make "coffee cozies" quite often,
and sell them at local craft vendor events.
I am currently making a baby blanket for a little boy.

I learned when I was very young, about 6, from my grandmother. Don't use any particular sites, I usually just Google the type of pattern I want and see what shows up. I much prefer patterns using the Japanese crochet symbols as they are so much easier to follow than paragraphs full of abbreviations, and there can be no confusion as to whether they mean British terms or American like in some old patterns.

I learned at age 9. I don't normally follow patterns.
I love Crochet Geek on Youtube.
I am part of a wonderful group on FB called Crochet Lounge.

I say keep it up!

I actually just learned to crochet last year, (and knit this year..gotta say, it's a lot hard to learn one if you're used to the other xD)
When I'm trying to learn how to do a new project, I pretty much just youtube search the subject and if the woman (or rarely, man) who's made the video seems old-ish, I take it they know what they're doing. And they usually explain it in a good way.

DzCrochetCreations <-- This girl is really good at telling you how to do stuff. But she goes semi-fast so you'll have to do a moderate amount of pausing if you're crocheting along with the video.

I just learned to make a granny square yesterday and I'm in love with it, lol. Good luck in your creations! heart

My goodness, everyone was so young when they first started!
I feel like I've hopped on the bandwagon a little late. sweatdrop

Thanks for all the suggestions so far.
I plan on working on a little piece tomorrow, I can't wait to post it somewhere. * 0*
