Inspirations Needed! I decided to make this thread to help artists and crafters alike keep their skills up. Too many of my friends have stopped working on their artwork because there was no drive and their talent was wasted. Creation - A - Day is like any other Arts and Crafts group with the exception that we have one goal. Make at least one thing per day. It could be a doodle, drawing, painting, textile, wood working, or anything that you personally made. Re-constructed items work too (ex. Spray painted and fixed up chairs, t-shirt reconstruction, etc.) Feel free to join us and I will add you to the list of people participating. We can feed off one an-others inspiration and show off our awesome crafts. This takes a level of dedication, but in the process we can make some good friends.

What if I don't end up making something once every day?
Life sometimes get's in the way of things. It is our goal but if you can't than you can't! If you feel a bit bad about it and have a perfect record than you can make two things maybe to make up for the one lost day.

Do I have to post pictures of what I have made?
Not unless you want to. It is encouraged so we can all see what you did but if you are shy about it than don't worry.

I would like to take part but I crochet so It might be once a week or so. Depends on the project. If it is a hat it will take less than a day but a scarf could take a week. I am in school as well so I have other things to do! But I would love to join!

oh not that I'm knitting it..its just stretch jersey so it counts a a knit top but not knitted out of yarn or anything.. i can't knit XD

My last name is cumbersome and I wanted to use an easier name for people to remember (and spell correctly), so I took out a trade name license and started The Silver Branch (named after the magical apple branch in celtic mythology the faeries would give to bards to instantly inspire them). With a trade name license, at least in my state, I can access whole sale companies, advertise more efficiently and come up with cool logos and actually put a trade name to my collections. Downside is, I have to claim everything I buy and sell on my income tax.

But it does work. I've found more clients through my business name than I ever did as just a person. And the wholesale access rocks. 3nodding Now if only I could find a wholesaler who sells polymer clay....
