Here's my latest finished costume. It's a munak from Ragnarok Online. I made it myself, with a pattern only for the shirt. Oh, the hat I bought and altered.

That is one of the absolute coolest things i've ever seen ever! was it difficult to move in? I mean aside from it attempt to destroy your braincells with tar. It's really so very cool. Did people try to ignore you? or run from you?

it was difficult to walk in because I used a hula hoop to form the bottom (and kept stepping on it if i walked too fast), so I sort of glided around. Most people were kinda freaked out (I wore this in our food court in the middle of lunch rush for.. oh.. about a half hour); the lunch ladies were distracted from there work, I'm so tall that some people thought I was a guy under there.. but the best was a big burly black dude came up and hugged me, and told me to come meet his friends because "black people are scared of monsters". I s**t you not, that is what he said to me.

Squirrel of Doom

This is my Halloween costume that I've only just got round to posting. I made the tail from scratch, painted the design on the t-shirt and cut down a pair of trousers and altered them to make the shorts. The character is a half-succubus from a webcomic that seems to be no longer running but should hopefully be back up soon - www.clanbob.net

That's an original costume right? I've never seen anything like it and I absolutely adore the weirdness of it!

love the holla-hoop thing too. I'll remember that if I need a gliding effect on something.

at first it started out to be a creepy little voodoo doll, but after i put it on my head one day, everyone prompted me to make it into a costume.

Well... I'll post what is probably my favorite costume- May from Guilty Gear X. And before anyone asks-- I didn't have an anchor, because it came down to the final night and I chose to finish someone else's costume instead. (Bah, and then they like.. never wore it... booooo)

Anyways- May is so cute and pirates are awesome! Almost as cool as robots!

Well... I'll post another picture of mine.

I was part of a massive FFTactics group this past summer. I made 3 costumes, a summoner, time mage and a mimic. I was the mimic, my boyfriend was the time mage (he was the only one people recognized- everyone thought I was a geomancer!) and a mutual friend from school was the summoner. We also had a male and female chemist, female ninja, ramsa and a knight. biggrin

I made a really awesome costume for the Rennessance Festival, it's a long red velvet dress with huge billowing sleeves made of black shimmering red velvet
