Love the costume Squirrel!

And that origional design and completion of your costume are amazing Tes!

I will post another costume. My Artbook Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi costume, enjoy!

Squirrel of Doom
This is my Halloween costume that I've only just got round to posting. I made the tail from scratch, painted the design on the t-shirt and cut down a pair of trousers and altered them to make the shorts. The character is a half-succubus from a webcomic that seems to be no longer running but should hopefully be back up soon - www.clanbob.net

Edit: You can't see the tail very well in this pic, theres a better pic in my halloween costume help thread somewhere on this board!

Someone else knows that ClanBOB once existed?!?!?!? I'm simply shocked...

**waves** Hi.... just a CB veteran from several years past taking notice.... nice rendering of that sexy succubus Jone though... **winks**

Questing Dream Avatar.. **sigh**
Donations greatly appreciated! heart

Feel free to ask me about commissions!

This is an EGL design that I decided to wear from time to time:

and something I made for my friend:

The one in white is me.

WOW Gaia changed so much since I was here.

Cheap little halloween costume that made for myself.
The waist cincher was difficult, mainly because the boning had faulty casings so I need to make them myself.
All sewn by me obviously *hits head*

yeah.
It's from Simplicity
I really don't like using patterns that I buy... I feel like I'm cheating. My prom dress was designed completely by me and sewn by me. Thats a totally different story.
But this was just a halloween costume so I didn't put as much effort into it. razz

Well mine is in the process of being atlered. Now that halloween is over I can do as I please with the costume. razz I'm adding reams of flowing silk lace that's a really nice tanned color around the wrists of the 3/4 length sleeves. The vest is being altered again and the skirt is getting a few add on.

Life is a carrot... Reflect on that.
MY DA ACCOUNT
Sorry... I'm not doing commissions right now.
okay, first up, my first costume ever!:
Princess Aeka worn at Otakon 2001
~i used a pattern for a kimono that i got online and modified it
~i used shiney fabric b/c a friend of mine who had been to conventions before told me people like shiny.
~ the crown is made from wood looking foam that i painted to look darker and shinyer.

next, Pycola analogia III worn 9by sister) at otakon 2001
~some kind of pattern was used to get a general idea...
has apron, big bow that attaches, dress, and a peticoat layer to create fluffiness. also, a hat that's pinned to her head.

i can't seem to find my other costumes, but i've gotten far better. I made a Leifang costume for otakon2003 that i had to paint the pheonix design on front and back...

Harley Quinn #1

Harley Quinn - Close Up

My absolute most favorite female character, Harley Quinn. I'm a gigantic Harley fan, so I felt I must pay homage to the great Paul Dini by making this costume.

The costume itself is made from crushed-velvet style lycra, the same kind used for ice-skating and dance costumes. The bodysuit was made with a pattern I created based on my own measurements. The back of the suit hides the hidden zipper and the neck piece goes all the way up to under the chin. The headpiece tucks in and the white collar has hooks to close it up around the neck.

The boots were a pair of spiked lace-up heels I got from ValueVillage, I made a pattern from them for the "gloves" that went over them and then rolled over to create the cuffs.

Wrist frills are 3 to 4 feet of white felt sewn together to create the ruffles and then slipped on over the gloves.

Make-up is Ben Nye clown white, with Ben Nye Black around the eyes. The lipstick is Ben Nye too, I think it's Oh Baby or something like that. The mask itself is a thick felt material attatched with spirit gum.

I think the total work time on this costume was something like...three days. One day for the suit, and two days for the rest of the accessories. [I ended up stretching that two days out over a few weeks.]

Tea witch - A college boy, elves, shape-changers, and of course, the Tea Witch. What more could you want in a comic?

These are also in another thread, but this is a good place for them.
Each of these are dresses I made for the renaissance faire and a role playing convention.

The photo below is the first dress I made using a Simplicity pattern, materials were Cotton and Twill from Joann Fabrics and Crafts.
Total construction time: 20 hours

This is the second dress I made, for my boyfriend's mom - she wore it to a Gorfest (OLRP festival) to represent her character, Vika.

Materials were Satin and Home Dec fabric from Joann's.
Total construction time: 24 hours.

Okay, this is a costume I made this summer, with help from friends and family of course, hehe. 3nodding It's Mikoto from Final Fantasy IX. Sorry it doesn't really show the costume very well, and sorry for not having reference images if you don't know the character... sweatdrop
It's not a great picture... 8sigh* Okay, I'll stop complaining now.
