Winter Formal is coming up, and I want to make a dress as the one Avril wears in her Alice music video. What do I need to make it, how do I make it and stuff? Or rather, I won't be the one making it, my aunt will. So what info do I need to provide her so she'll understand it?

my suggestion would be to find some good [ictures of it from as many angles as you can. Then go look at dress patterns and find one one that looks similar, or if there is not one that looks similar try to find ones with elements similar to the dress.
One word of advice: DO NOT PROCRASTINATE GETTING HER THE INFO ABOUT THE DRESS. She will need as much time to make it as you can give her. more time=better results
