I am looking for some ppl to share some ideas with and to discuss beading jewlery

I make beaded jewelry. I started out buying assorted glass beads and stringing them on tigertail and stretchy cord. I'm in the process of stepping up to more expensive things, such as Swarovski crystal beads, gemstone beads, pearls, and precious metals. I really want to make some crystal earrings I drew sketches of, but I don't have $$ for the materials, which are cheaper bought in bulk ($10 for 1 pair vs. $100 for 25 pairs). sweatdrop I'll keep using stretchy cord, though, since every single (female) person who's looked at my jewelry has complained about the clasps.

Those are a few of my better pieces, but they're pretty outdated. I've made better ones recently.

I bead jewelry all the time. I'm not quite at the level where I'm using crystal beads and precious metals, but then again, its not what I want to do for a living either. I make tiny bead animals and flower chains and stuff, then sell them to my friends for a little pocket money. I don't do it as often anymore, though, because I don't have the time. ^^00

I do jewlery with normal pony beads and on occasion shape beads . My favorite thing to make is a choker collar with pony beads. surprised Beadie buddies are fun tot make too.

Do you ever shop at Firemountain Gems? I get some of my supplies there, since buying in bulk is not only cheaper but sometimes more convenient too.

i started collecting different kinds of beeds since last year and really! its too expensive specially when your buying the cute ones. but its ok.. i love making necklace and bracelets out of beads.. and also i put them in my clothes... for example is heart, star, a smiley and other cute figures

I do bead weaving.
I plot out unique designs on a piece of graph paper and you can do quite a lot with that.
I am done, running horese, night skies, crashing waves, and, of course, a whole bunch of abstract patterns.

I really like your beaded bracelets. I especially like the pastel colored rainbow one. I would really like to buy one from you. *smiles* But perhaps I can make one of my own. I was drawn to this thread because my next door neighbor is a beading person and she's done some really cute stuff. She has LOADS of beads. It's really amazing. I love going over there sometimes and helping her sort through them. But I have also made a few beaded things before. In fact, not to awful long ago her and I went to a beading show not to far from where we live. It was most amazing! They had some oh so lovely pieces. Just breath taking... *smiles*

i've attempted the usual elastic bracelets and such (and the elastic snapped on one about 5 minutes ago...) and hemp necklaces, but i must say, my favorite thing to make is earrings, of course. i've used beads, a christmas light, zippers, feathers, and basically any random thing i can get my hands on...it's incredibly fun.

I make a few things, mostly I use plastic or wooden beads. At the moment though I'm saving all my things to make something really special when inspiration hits, maybe adding a few extra things as well as beads. I don't know yet.

i do alot of every kind of beading....im not very creative though. Every once in a while i get an inspiration rush.
