He had just started to get back into his book with the compartment door opened. Standing there, all tall and lanky, was Nicolae, who's face held such a look of relief as his eyes were drawn to the ferret on his shoulders. "I don't mind at all." He moved over, in case the boy wanted to sit by him, and marked the page he was reading. "I know what you mean. Other than a few of my sister's friends, I know no one on the the train. Except for you, and only then it's just barely." He reached up and rubbed the top of Loki's head with a single finger. "I suppose she counts too."
