BIO: Kim Hae Sung was born in Seoul, Korea and at the age of six months her parents moved to Shanghai, China where they lived until she was eight years old. The next major move was to Tokyo, Japan when she was eleven where she attended middle school, her first years of schooling was in Shanghai. Finally when Hae Sung was thirteen her parents were both offered high power positions in different practices in Manhattan, New York which is where Hae Sung resided up until she was seventeen. Her father is a powerful defense attorney and her mother a vascular surgeon both having high ranking jobs. Ever since Hae Sung could walk she danced, she truly loved the art and she was very talented at it. In all the places she’s lived her parents sent her to the best dance schools money could buy. Hae Sung was talented at dance in general though the thing she specialized in is ballet. When she’d moved to New York she’d auditioned for the ballet program at the Manhattan school of performing arts and she passed with flying colors. She was a soloist by the age of fourteen and a principal(Prima) dancer at the age of sixteen, the second youngest in the history of the school.

A week before Hae Sung’s seventeenth birthday tragedy struck, her mother was killed in a hit and run accident on the corner of fifth avenue and Madison, the NYPD found the man responsible and he was sent to jail but not even justice could fill the void in her heart. A girl who used to be happy go lucky and even naïve grew up seemingly overnight. Hae Sung immersed herself in her school work and her dancing letting nothing stand in the way of her dream(To be a Prima Ballerina Assoluta). The last discussion she’d had with her mother before she’d been killed was the idea of attending Yeppuda Academy for the gifted back home in Korea. Her mother went there as did her father and they wanted her to follow in their footsteps. At first she’d been against it because of how much she loves and fits in here in New York but, after her mother’s death she told her father she was going to finish up this year of school perform in her final performance here in Manhattan and then she’d go to Korea and audition at Yeppuda. Her father was proud of her determination, he offered to pack everything up and go back home with her. But, he’d have to give up the job he loved and earned allot of money doing. Hae Sung begged her father to stay and let her do this, she’d audition for a scholarship.

After her final performance and her final exams Hae Sung packed up and took the next flight out to Korea. The director of the Manhattan Academy of Performing Arts sent a video of her dancing her final performance where she pretty much laid her heart on the stage and danced like it was her last dance to the director of Yeppuda Academy. This favor from the director of the MAPA allowed her to get the next audition at Yeppuda. Her father had called in a favor and was able to get her the penthouse apartment that he used to own in a swanky hotel there, he promised her he’d be there in a few months to visit. She could tell he was worried about her. She’d become rather calm rather than hyper active and even withdrawn. Hae Sung auditioned for Yeppuda dancing first to a variaton ofGiselle and second to a variation of La Esmeralda, unaware at the time that there were only two spots for dancers there, a male and a female. The female role already taken, but, after her performance the director agreed the open one more spot for her. Hae Sung was elated when this happened. Now, Hae Sung attends Yeppuda and has risen to the rank of Pink second only to the purples. Hae Sung is truly a kind girl, ever since her mother's death she's become rather guarded. She's cool, calm and collected most of the time though if something excites her she's not the type to hide her excitement. When she dances she tends to be charismatic, dancing being her passion she couldn't be cool if she tried. Hae Sung is witty and higly intelligent, she can be sarcastic very now and again . Allot of people would think she's vain but in truly she's confident in herself. She's not the type of person to oughtright bully someone as when she first transfered to America she was bullied by her peers until she learned to speak english nearly flawlessly. Speaking of which Hae Sung speaks Korean, Mandarin, Japanese and English all fluently. So with the war going on she prefers to remain cooly indiffrent though if someone is cruel to her she's not afriad to bite back. However if her friends in the Purples are making fun of people she prefers to stay quiet and just nod rather than actually participate in the abuse. Hae Sung is considered a ballet prodigy.

Raised by an A class nanny from Canada they brought in to take care of her; Hwa-Young only received her parents affection who only shown it through materialistic things. What ever this little princess wants she always got and was never cut short on what she ever wanted in life. Never realizing she was more like a doll to her parents then their child, something they can take down to show off and put back and forgotten when done.

Hwa-Young father was close to Choi Kang Dae father; the loner kid who was called the son of a killer. He was a strange kid that everyone avoided and that is why Hwa-Young came up to him when their fathers brought them along and tried to make friendship with him. He used to get angry at her for talking to him or following him aimlessly, but in due time Hwa-Young persistence attitude paid off and now they are Friends. The only person that drags out a side of Hwa-Young she never knew she had, the two kids where like Bonnie and Clyde. But now that their older, even if Hwa-Young is his childhood friend it doesn't mean things are the same, there are times where the Heiress does wish it was just him and her against the world again.

Hwa-Young was the beauty of the playground in pre-K who got whatever the hell she wants when she wants it and it followed her to her current position; you would think she would be QueenKa, but she is not and Hwa-Young fails to see why the hell not. In due time everything will make sense once Hwa-Young is sitting where she should be place. Just cause shes the daughter of the Head master, doesn't mean a thing. That position should be hers because her parents put money in the greedy old Head Masters pocket and she knows she deserves that title more than anyone else

Hwa-Young never saw the point in dating and never attempted to see what had girls trying to look more pretty, wearing 'New Items', going on dates, gossiping about the date and boy and complaining or bragging about these things called butterflies in their stomach. But recently she has been feeling funny; her heart races, she cant think straight, she cant eat when he is around, she messes up in front of him, when he talks or just touches her it feels like something is fluttering in her stomach and even done to not being able to sleep properly every now and then when he pops up in her head the moment she closes her eyes. Whatever it is Hwa-Young doesn't like it one bit, she doesn't know this emotion or feeling and if she doesn't know and never learned what it is. She doesn't want no part of it, it could be bad for her health if these feelings continue.

A bit on the naive side, if you told her the sky was blue to reflect her ice cold heart she would believe you. If you told her that her eyes were only green because she was filled with Envy and Money she would believe you. So when Kang Dae dropped out the school and confess to her, you wouldn't believe how quickly her heart stop at such a confession. But before she could respond he gone and left her and Hwa-Young doesn't know where to find him or how to contact him. Judging by Tv Drama a guy isn't suppose to confess his love and leave you unless he is telling you to wait for him until he is done his military service, like who does that?! Hwa-Young is mad but sad that hes gone and she never knows when he is coming back.

BIO: For the longest time, Youn-Ju lived a quite uneventful life. She grew up in a household with a loving mother and father and a brother named Lee Sang Eun, who was six years older than herself. Her life took a change, however, when she turned twelve. Her father had always been a man who dealt with those 'get rich quick' schemes and her mother never approved of it. One day, Youn-Ju's father used all of the money the family had saved up for one of his schemes and lost it all. To her mother, that was the last straw. She left during the middle of the night, writing a letter to Youn-Ju and her older brother. About a year later, her father got the notion that he would have to move out of the country for the scheme to work- so he moved to America but left Youn-Ju and her brother behind so they would not have to get accustomed to a new culture.

Over the years, Youn-Ju and her brother got used to living their own, to the point where they essentially cut the ties with their father. Once that was down, Youn-Ju and her brother seemed happier. When it was time for Youn-Ju to start thinking about school, she expressed her desire to go to Yeppuda, but she felt as if she did not have the talent. Youn-Ju had always been interested in fashion and designing. She loved to make her own clothes and after her mother and father left, she coped with things by drawing and designing. When she could, she would make her own clothes and would wear them around quite often. On her sixteenth birthday, Sang Eun surprised her by saying that he had gotten her an interview at the school. She went in an outfit completely made by her and brought her portfolio.

When the interview was done, Youn-Ju had felt that she had done so bad. A few days later, the letter came. She had gotten a scholarship to the school of her dreams.

BIO: Makoto was born in Naha, the capitol of the Okinawa prefecture of Japan. His family had historically grown up in that city, so it was quite the shock when the entire Kinjo clan - all three living generations - packed their things and moved off to Tokyo when Makoto was fourteen years old. It was quite the change, going from a city like Naha to one like Tokyo, and it took a while to get adapted to his new environment. Thankfully, Makoto is lucky enough to be quite adept at adapting to new surroundings and situations, and therefore was spared any real trauma. Unless you count getting lost and ending up in the wrong area of Tokyo on his first day of school. That was, admittedly, rather traumatic.

Family has always been rather important to Makoto, seeing as he grew up in a large household. He lived with his mother, father, grandparents on both sides, his aunt and her husband with their three children, and then Makoto's older sister, Natsu. He's used to not having enough room to move his elbows at a dinner table, and gets really, really anxious when there aren't a lot of people around him. This, of course, does not bode well for his time at Yeppuda academy, where he has found himself at the bottom of the barrel.

You may ask how someone like Makoto, someone who is clearly destined for terrible, terrible things to happen to him, wherever he goes, managed to get into a school such as Yeppuda? Well, it was an accident, really. He's always had a love for languages, and was attempting to sign up for the Polish language class when he transferred to Tokyo. Let us just say that the students there weren't all that friendly, either, and pointed him in the direction of the wrong sign up sheet: he ended up signing up for Korean instead. With his flair for languages, he managed to make it work, and his overly enthusiastic teacher signed him up for the scholarship, and he got it.

Not exactly the most amazing story, but it's the truth.

BIO: Subin was born in Incheon, Korean to two parents whom were willing to give their all for their daughter to excel. From her kindergarten to eighth grade year, she was home schooled by her parents due to the fact that they moved nonstop. After years of moving, on Subin's tenth grade year, her parents permanently settled down and decided to let her attend public school. It was in tenth grade that Subin was ranked number three in the highest percentile scores in math, and ranks number two and one are mastery professors. Why math? Subin used to have a younger brother by the name of Jae Sun, and his weak area was in math. She tutored him taught him little pieces of her math lessons that her teacher gave her each day. Months past and her brother over time grew sick passed away of an aneurysm, so she used math to cope and feel closer to him. It was as if whenever she did a math problem, her brother would be right there watching her through the steps. This was a partial reason of Subin's parents wanting her to excel. It was all in memory for her brother. They always told her,"If your brother was here now, I'd bet he'd be so proud of his noona." .

During her high school years, Subin got repeatedly praised, nominated and accepted for awards in the area of mathematics. She was recognized with having her name carved in golden plaques, and representing the school well at various competitions. This was a starting cause of her daily harassment. If not that, then it was because of her highly unappealing looks, or it was the teacher's tendency to compare students to her academic wise. Staring out, there was the occasional name calling, lunch money stealing, book yanking, and public humiliation in the locker rooms, but it got serious her first year of Yeppuda academy. You would think as people got older they would mature and settle down with the harassment, but it actually got worse. Stealing her things, physical assault, and even more harsh forms of public humiliation. As if it wasn't bad enough there, all students labeled in a class on a social ladder, and what luck she has seeing that she was placed at the second to the very bottom. The only good side was that she wasn't the foreigner. She literally cried of joy when her first year was over. Her days were finally full of peace, and she didn't have to worry everyday about whether or not she could even make it five steps without being ransacked. Over the summer though, she came up with a solution that she felt might her problems. Remember when we stated that she wasn't exactly the prettiest flower in the bunch, well she got plastic surgery in more areas than one: her face, her stomach and waist, and breasts. Her parents paid for it all, being that during the school year they spent more on therapist bills and medical bills from Subin's multiple medical problems that all developed from stress. Perhaps this could be a way out for her. It could lighten the weight of her burdens bit by bit until she can finally find an escape.

Tsk tsk Subin, it's not that easy.

On her return to school revealing her new self, she only got negative reactions. In addition to be an over achiever that apparently deserves nothing she has, Subin was given the fake stamp. Her whole appearance is nothing but fake at it's best. Though she does admit at times that her appearance may just be synthetic, but her as a person was not fake at all. This just set her up for being more of a target for the lowest forms of harassment. Subin has never told anyone about being molested by a student, whom was expelled anyway for drug use on campus, and she plans to keep it that way. Before he left though, he swore that it was her fault for his expulsion and spread rumor that she did sexual things with guys and what she did depended on how much they paid. To this point now, Subin has completely numbed herself just to pass by the day and attempts to not worry about it. She just decides to stick it out. If she has to cry herself to sleep for two more years to reach her dreams to becoming a math major then so be it.

One can always find Subin hanging out in the Geometry room solving a Rubik's cube, or scrabbling math terms on the board. It's like her safe haven. She does have friends a few, but you never see her without him. Subin being alone is a rare sight for multiple reasons which you can already guess. After school on Thursdays, she looks forward to tutoring kids in math. It's like a breath of fresh air compare to the thick polluted feeling she gets at school. Subin also ice skates and takes small lessons with her cousin. Although ice skating is just a hobby for her, she does it exceptionally well. Her trainer feel as if that ice skating can get her out of Yeppudah academy and somewhere bigger, but Subin refuses the opportunity. Being a math theorist was always her dream and she continues to her eyes toward it.

It was not long ago that Jong-Duck and his family had been under welfare. After his father had passed away, it seemed as though the money had come to an end. His once stay at home mother knew not what to do with herself accept to gain a job as a waitress at some dinky diner. As a boy, Ducky found himself spending more and more time at the establishment. He would sit at the counter, eat pancakes, and even giggle wildly as the many waitresses declared he had to be the cutest little boy they had ever seen. He was admired by all for being a brave soldier as well as the man of his small household.
At the age of fifteen, he found himself secretly maintaining a job at the diner as a bust boy, trying his best to convince anyone that he was actually old enough to have a job. Soon enough, the boy found himself growing tired of his same old uniform day in and day out. Not to mention found the waitress uniforms rather out of style. Staying late one night, he pulled out his mothers small sewing kit and edited every uniform until his fingers were sore. Over the next few weeks, their customers raved about their new uniforms and word spread to several important people who were willing to donate money to get him into Yeppuda.

Tries his best to be just about perfect at everything he does, even when trying to hide his pet rabbit from the dean. The rabbit, sir bigglesworth(name may change), has been known to occasionally escape.

To most, being rich is a dream, never being reached, only gazed at from afar like a beautiful star. However, for Jae-Hwa these riches were always at hand. With his parents being music producers, his good looks weren't a guarantee, but who are we kidding, they were. It was an oddity though that the boy with the parents with an ear for music had spawned a tone deaf cutie. No matter how many vocal lessons they put him through, no matter how many famous stars they tried to get to teach him, Jae was an epic fail at singing. But he at least had his looks.

His first modeling job, unlike for most models, was handed to him. Needing a model for the cover of a CD, his parent eagerly offered him up as bait and was accepted. After millions of the albums were sold, it was no doubt that he would become famous one way or another. After that, the offers came rolling in. It wasn't long after that he demanded his way into the famous Yeppuda Academy.

Although his singing career did not go well, he still tries to make his way into the world by taking acting classes as well as trying to improve his dancing skills. Jae-Hwa doesn't want to be just some pretty face.

Although Jae considers himself to be heterosexual, he is very into himself. It is not hard for him to find himself late for his classes due to losing track of time gazing into the mirror.

BIO: While his father was a very successful manager and producer, for Myeong, it all started when he was about nine. A school talent show that his mother pushed him to try out for, knowing that her little boy could sing and dance, that it might get him noticed. And it had, with a performance of one of Michael Jackson's songs - Bad. As it was with high profile schools, there were several agents there, and he was pegged as a kid with the right attitude for a certain character in an after school show as the local superstar. As the character grew to be more and more popular, mostly due to Myeong's adorable face and silly attitude off-screen, he was given a record deal - a one time album to make the fans happy - when he was twelve.

His career took off. Well, his singing career, that is; his acting career falling by the wayside. Most of his fans didn't care, though, saying that acting was really holding him back. For four years, he did a few local concerts, made his albums, and was tutored. Then, after a two year battle, his mother died of lung cancer, and Myeong stopped performing. Stepped out of the spotlight. For a eighteen month span, Myeong did his best to blend into normal society, even going so far as enroll back into school. It was there his love of performing was rekindled - once again in the form of a talent show. Except there was a new element to his performances now - raw sex appeal, across the world. In two weeks, he and his father put together his album Re-Awaken - with songs in his native language as well as Cantonese, Japanese, and two in English. He was an overnight sensation - mostly due to his ever loyal fanbase and rising overseas interest in K-pop - and this time, he was in it to stay, to go big or go home. It's what his mother would want anyway.

BIO: two words: silver spoon. Young-Nae was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Okay, not literally, but 'tis this expression for one born of spoils and riches. She can't imagine a life without it. It's her safety blanket, even though throughout her childhood to current she's always wanted to secretly do something else. Young-Nae found her love for baking and cooking when she was really young and, of course, had her own little girl kitchen set - real oven and all. But the older she got, the more her father became furious when he caught her in the kitchens cooking. He threatened to disown her if she brought shame to their family by not becoming a lawyer, or a doctor, or just really famous... Her father did NOT see any future with cooking. Or, in other words, he refused to believe his only daughter was so talented at something done in the kitchens and not out in the open - out in the fields of medicine, law or arts.

So, taking the easier path, Young-Nae chose to bury any of it deep within her. No one, I repeat, no one ever knew about her true passion... Except Jung Ji. The only friend she could ever trust. Now, Young-Nae reigns Queen over the academy, striking her worst on those because it'd either be beneficial towards her crown, or just out of pure entertainment. If we were to psycho-analyse it a little, though, all the bullying is merely to condemn those to misery, just as she (deep down) has made herself to be. She's perfected the mask of fakery however, and is very able to shine a winning smile even when under pure rage or utter depression.

Damaged by the spoils handed to her from birth, Young-Nae naturally acts to take everything to fill the space where she couldn't have her one true happiness.

BIO: "Smile... You can conquer the world with that smile... Never forget..." Those were the last words Jung-Mo heard from his mother. She died of a terminal illness when he was thirteen years of age. Those words have carried through him to this very day, and for every day to come. Jung-Mo lives a pretty well-off life. He grew up with both his parents on the outskirts of Seoul on a farm. Yes, he was a farmer boy... He loved the wide open spaces and felt truly at home with his mother and father. At the age of 10 Jung-Mo also gained a little sister. Happy days were to follow; Jung-Mo discovered his love for music when he stumbled upon his father's old guitar and sneakily played records his father had collected during his engagement years. Jung-Mo wanted to learn so badly... He started his own collection of music - wanting all kinds whenever they made the trip into town.

However... Jung-Mo was bullied in school. His mother didn't want him home-schooled, so she'd always take the time to drive her son all that way. But for what? For his own guitar that his father bought him to be smashed because he was dirty? The hatred and the tears caused Jung-Mo to snap and never want anything to do with it again... Jung-Mo's father packed up everything at the farm and sold it - half the riches went straight to all the medical bills in the top hospital of South Korea. Yet, nothing could be done. The rest of the riches went to starting a smaller business within the city... The farm was too empty without her. Jung-Mo looks at his little sister today thinking how both lucky she is to have been too young to remember Mother, and unlucky she'll never get to know her like he did.

Smile is what she said though... And that's what he did; after all the tears and silent dinners, Jung-Mo grabbed his father's old guitar and composed. He just wrote song after song after song. He wrote songs of his life. Jung-Mo's father could see the brilliance in him, and was truly awe-inspired by such strength that his son had to just keep on smiling - to have been able to remain his cheery, care-free persona and make something of himself. His father ended up taking those songs, recording his music, and sending them into the famous Yeppuda Academy. It won Jung-Mo an audition - which he could not believe he had been able to attend, let alone it leading him a place in the school. Forever Jung-Mo would be grateful to his father... knowing he should be smiling for those fortunate things that happen in life than those such as the school actually being subjected to bullying ...

Her parents wanted her to be just like them, so they did anything and train her to become a pretty good actress even if she was just a little girl. All that hard work finally paid off when one of her mom's friend who was a director wanted Jiyeon to play the family's daughter in the movie. Being that she was a little child, people caught her attention by her looks. The movie grew big making her fame, grew as well. The offers started to come in anything from tv drama's, movies to commercials, anything really. Getting into the school wasn't as hard either. She didn't do what most of the purple group did by just flashing a few bills, but Jiyeon had some talents actually. Jiyeon climbed up on the social ladder getting into the purple group and becoming one of the most populars girls. Being the second most popular girl and giving her the title probably the best actress in school. That's what she thinks of herself.

Jiyeon shows more of her nicer side being the sweet one of the group. She doesn't constantly hurt or torture the other colors, she does have a life of her own. Jiyeon only does that when someone truly gets her mad or she isn't in her best mood, but all in all, Jiyeon is truly a nice girl to be around with. She is honest.... at times, a good listener, calm...in a few situations. Jiyeon has been in a few relationships, it ended up her getting her heart broken. The problem with her liking a guy, she ends up liking the person too much basically falling too deep. Ending up Jiyeon in tears. As a good actress she is, she keeps it a secret. Jiyeon keeps up her wall up and tries not to fall too deep for a guy.

Besides acting, Jiyeon wants to try something new. Right now, her goals is to learn dance and start a modeling career. She doesn't know anything about dance now, but she started to take dances. Modeling, she knows how to do it, but she's still a rookie at it.

BIO: Even from birth, Soo-Yun was as stubborn as a mule; a trait so generously bestowed upon her by her paternal grandfather, by whom she has been raised by her entire life. She has no memory of her mother, since she passed away soon after Soo-Yun's birth. Her father, though living, and a successful agent for a popular Korean entertainment industry, might as well be dead too. At least as far as Soo-Yun is concerned. From an early age, she has wanted nothing to do with her father. She and her older brother, Hyo, did not take being dropped off on their grandfather's doorstep lightly. Even their grandfather doesn't even care much for his own son. Which is why all three of them have refused to accept any money from Soo-Yun's father, no matter what the circumstances. There would be nothing that would bring them more shame than accepting any form of help from the likes of a sleazy agent like her father.

Growing up, Soo-Yun's life was quiet. Her grandfather ran a tight ship, but never denied them the love and affection that every child needs. They made a modest living, their grandfather having been a tenured professor at a local university before his retirement. Both Soo-Yun and Hyo were model students, keeping their noses clean and always making a good impression with their teachers. Neither of them were ever very popular, save a few very close friends. Though, with their small family being so tight-knit, both of them actually preferred staying out of the limelight; away from the world of their father.

Soo-Yun's interest and talent in music was a complete accident. When she was six years old, she used to sit in on one of her friends violin lessons once a week while waiting for her grandfather to come home from work. One day at school, Soo-Yun passed by the music room and decided to try out the instrument for herself. The violin fit perfectly with her petite frame and even playing the simplest of scales sent a rush of adrenaline through her veins. Regardless, Soo-Yun would have ignored the temptation to play if a teacher had not walked by and written a letter encouraging that her grandfather allow her to take lessons.

Though hesitant at first, Soo-Yun's love for the violin and classical music grew over time. Being the proper young lady she was raised to be, she charmed audiences all over Korea. Her competitive drive started growing slowly as she realized that her talent might give her a full ride through secondary school, and restore the honor that her family so desperately deserved. So she practiced day and night, honing her skills at every opportunity. Her acceptance to Yeppuda Academy was the crowning glory of all of her hard work; thought it came with a price.

To this day, her grandfather remains strict but encouraging, but Hyo has never taken well to Soo-Yun's love for music, considering the nature of their father's work. Her scholarship was possibly the icing on the cake, since she has not spoken to him much since receiving her acceptance letter. Even in their modest abode, he has managed to avoid her when she visits.

And where to even begin with the caste system that is the framework of the entire institution at Yeppuda Academy. Though no at harshly has some of the other students, Soo-Yun has received her fair share of bullying; vandalism, rumors, intimidation, you name it. Despite all this, Soo-Yun does her best to remain mysterious and aloof, in an effort to keep herself off of the social radar.

His father had always had many mistresses and his mother was tired of it. He’d always looked up to his parents seeing them at the perfect couple, they never showed their problems around him. He was devastated at the time. So, as an act of rebellion hoping to bring them together again he created scandal after scandal somehow earning the nickname Korea’s Playboy. Soon after for the sake of appearances his parents got back together although they stayed away from each other separate rooms on opposite ends of the house but at least they were both in the house when they weren’t on business now. But it seems like as he over comes each obstacle another hits him, his beloved older sister was diagnosed with a very rare auto immune disorder which attacks the nerves and the organs slowly and painfully eating away at them. Not only that, but his father also was diagnosed with stage three lung cancer, and now the man wants him to learn the ropes of handling a company in case his father passes away Woojin will inherit the company. Woojin attends Yeppuda academy gaining the role of king, he is ruthless and reigns with an iron fist.

Personality wise he is arrogant believing himself better than everyone else, he is also very rash and volatile. He is seductive and manipulative and will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. He is not fond and will not tolerate anyone acting out against him and he will not hesitate to destroy their reputation whether they be a purple a blue or a white. He’s not like many of the others, he loves to torment and be cruel to the people below him. He is loyal to the ones he loves and is not one to show weakness. He is the type who would much rather be feared than loved and he is.
