Talking about fire emblem, How about everyone their own unique ending scene ?
I wonder if the game engine supports relationship points or romance points.
Aha yeah, this was already discussed. I was all for it but it seems there would just benso much work and text between everyone.
Theres quite a few characters already but not enough so that it will be a hassle to show their own epilogue at the end of the adventure.
This project is really inspired by fire emblem.
Aha maybe when this is over I'll work on a WG turn base strategy game on roll20 probably.
aww, would be interesting to see what Wgers gonna do after deafeating the villain, some paired ending would be nice too.
I'll look forward for that game if you make one. 3nodding I all for dice rolling wordgame.
Since I've yet to be sprited, I'm thinking of changing my character entry.
There is the Merchant, Gladys (current avatar sort of, based off glaDOS from the portal series), and the "me" character, which is a anthromorphic bird.
Anyone have any suggests on which to go with?
Style wise
Merchant - Fire & Absorb. Very luck based. Comes with Shop/Ship
Gladys - Likely Holy/Dark combo. Comes with companion sphere
"Me"/Clueit - Earth (base attribute) , Holy (one de/buff), Dark (attack set when a special weapon is equip)
Aw man, now I wanna get Pendle if you're putting Gladys in. gonk
Well, we could come as a pair to be added in, at the "facility" location.
If you want to add him I'll go with her for sure owo-b
If not, any suggestion between what to fully flesh out?
I wanna add him but I don't think it's fair for othersthat I got 2 characters in. Or... Maybe as a non-recruitable NPC?
Oh, that could be an idea. Portal 2 style, he's taken over her facility and she needs help to get it back. Even if she is, well, who she is.
Hmm...
There, got your recruitment quest already. XD Fleshing out wise, it's your judgement as to what each of them could bring to a party, their perks and cons and balancing against other characters one could recruit. Or just choose which you like best. XD
@Erhard. You mean WGers as non-recruitable NPCs? The answer to that is no. The one ground rule I had in the very beginning of creating this project is to allow every single WGer the chance to be recruited.
I don't know how high my stats should be. :[ I'm afraid if I make them too high it'll seem like I'm trying to make my character overpowered, but if it's all too low nobody will want to play my character anyway.

Non-WGer NPCs will not be recruitable either.
Ah, okay then. ouob So that probably means due to character limit, I take it that each person can only have an entry of one character as well, then?

Well, most people have a total combined number of, like 26 - 27. as long as your total combined stats add up to something like that, you should be fine~

Introductory Quest: Pullin' a PETA - Gin requires the player to murder a Unicorn, and bring her the carcass for....reasons.
Recruitment Quest: Jinkies! - Gin recruits the player to assist in a search for her lost glasses. The quest goes from Gin's house, to the inn, eventually leading into a Sex Dungeon filled with extremely kinky Rick Santorum-esque characters attacking the party. On the bright side, Gin's glasses are found in the body-cavity of one of the attackers, along with a metric ton of "Personal Massagers", which gin will happily trade her allegiance for, along with a promise that she gets to keep all krugerrands obtained by the party.
Side Quests:
WHAT HAS SCIENCE WROUGHT!? - Unbeknownst to the WeeGee, Gin spliced the DNA of the Unicorn you brought her with an Allosaurus, creating the world's first Unisaurus, that's threatening the WeeGeeverse as a whole. Considering you (the player character) helped to create it, they may need to help put it down.
Oh, and it can shoot lasers from it's eyes....but don't worry about it. You'll totally be fine.

If we have RPG maker, is it possible to create our preferences ourselves and send it to you?
I've been wanting to do something like this for a while, but I am really really bad with RPG Maker.
It might be a bit hard, though, in terms of coordinating all the different attack algorithms and EXP gain rates and whatnot. Plus, RPGMaker saves it all under 1 Actors file, so sending them multiple Actors files would be quite a hassle, not to mention the integration. Possible, though, if there was a way to import Actors from ready-made scripts.

Fair enough.
It is way too early in the morning to be filling stuff out, but I'd love to contribute.
Is it too much of a bother now to add another character in to the game..?
Not at all! The game is still fully a-go! Just take a look at the info we'll need of you on the first page and post here. If you aren't sure about your stats and whatnot, you can leave that out and we can make up a roll for you, or you can ask around here and I'm sure the peeps can help you with some ideas.
Dark Endeavor
Goodness.
There's been quite a few pages since I've been gone.
What've I missed?
We have an intro video! And an updated stat sheet.
Is it okay with you guys if I import this into the game?
Edit// Oh, and there are repeats in it.
I looked through these but I don't think I saw a rolling pin. xd
Is the icon I provided in my stat sheet (I used the thumbnail icon for the rolling pin item on Gaia) ok to use?
I can add it easily~ I'll just have to remember where I stick it lol.

Updated. Also, I was never able to figure out how to get the script to work. I may have to go back to my alternative root and figure out some way to event it in.

EDIT
@Daff
Well, theres the problem of the protagonist and thier appearance, though it could just be like a featureless black shadow to represent him/her
Also some people are key to the story will get artwork, some who are sub-quest recruitment will never see their glory on paper.
Maybe it would be okay, depending on how many artworks the poor artist has to make.
Maybe a church glass mural artstyle? Or a story book? I dont know artist's prime I guess.
Yeah, as Vish had pointed out, it could be drawn in a 1st person perspective.
I had also figured contrasts in style may be an issue, as it may be a jarring in the inconsistency. A stain-glass mural/story book style would look amazing though. Idk. Just throwing out an idea.
Capitano De Conseur
Aha maybe when this is over I'll work on a WG turn base strategy game on roll20 probably.
Also, I'm totally down for something like that!
Clueit
I liked both of those character possibilities you had. I think either opens up a lot of quest possibilities, so let me know what you decide when you're ready to update~ c: Anyway, you know, there isn't one that I know of? o - o I would think there isn't a limit. I looked around a bit and I think there are scripts that create a limit, but I don't know if we will choose to take this route for the game.
