━━━━━━━ ✦ The Storyline

This years Games are different, and not because their supposed to be.In this Game, the objective is to do what should be impossible; figure out which of the humans really The King, as he has disappeared from his throne, and is hiding among the survivors, with no intention of revealing himself. There is no set way laid out for the inhibitors to do so, but there are two rules; they must not kill the humans, and they must not steal what has already been claimed by another of their kind. The timer is set, and the humans are set upon, but what could be The King's real intention?

What very few on the island know is that someone is trying to kick The King from his rightful throne, and though he has a good idea as to it is, it will take making them desperate to see him killed before the next Blood Moon in order to truly shine the light on the treasonous villain. After all, it's only a matter of time before they snap.

The humans that have stranded know nothing; they only know that in the distance, they can see a structure, which means that someone likely does live on the island. The only question is if they will brave the jungle or stay on the beach, waiting to be rescued. There are those that will be strong, and those that will be week, and no one can tell what the future will hold.


━━━━━━━ ✦ The Location

Welcome to the Demon Isle, a mystic island floating along the ocean,moving at the will of it's maker, a man simply known as 'The King.' Few people can find this island, and even fewer ever care to remember that they set foot on it's seemingly perfect sands, but those that do only did so under the direct will of The King. Every fifty years or so, a passing ship will be drawn towards the island, seemingly at random, and will leave a specific number of survivors stranded on the islands sparkling beaches.

These survivors must then have the will to make it through 'The Games,' a set of trials set up for the citizens of the islands, with the humans as the pieces that the inhabitants must move around. The Game is never the same, and the islands landscapes are always changing. It has a mixture of tropical jungles and mid-western forests, as well as an active volcano and a snow-capped mountain, in the middle of this vast island, well away from the gleaming beaches where the humans start out, an eerie, marble palace sits among the Rockies, beckoning to them from afar.

I'm Scarlett Sterling pleased to meet you.

Scarlett's age is never revealed number wise but she did grow up sometime in the Middle Ages and was one of the first women knights. Scarlett grew up in the Middle Ages and her mother wanted her to be a proper nobel lady but Scarlett wanted none of that she wanted to be a knight. She'd later become one after rescuing the prince's caravan from thieves. Sadly her life wasn't all cheers. Scarlett caught the eye of a wizard and who wanted to marry her and when Scarlett refused he casted a plague upon the land called "the Black Death" and forced himself upon Scarlett and planned to take her one way or another but a man with sharp teeth ripped him apart limb from limb and saved Scarletts life and started her immortal one.

Scarlett lived out a few centuries with her "master" or Sire and his master there she met Katerina Petrova and helped her escape the country but the two would go their sperate ways and later meet again in 1864.

In 1864 Scarlett was the local doctor of Mystic Falls she met Damon when she mended his broken arm and grew found of him. However, Damon and Stefab, as we all know, loved Katherine. So Scarlett found a "distraction" a man named James who she'd make her husband for a short while until she had to end his life so he wouldn't turn into a vampire.

When the vampire hunt happened she left for Europe leaving the b***h Katherine behind. Years passed and she learned Damon was alive and she planed to return to America aboard the RMS titanic. Scarlett obviously was one of the few who surived the sinking. She did find Damon but he only stayed long enough to help her and then left.

Years later and Scarlett returned to Mystic Falls and ran into Stefan and Elena.They told her since their wedding, Damon hadn't excatlly been happy. So she decided to pay him a visit. The two rekindled their love and even faced a vampire hunter in the Hamptons and returned to Mystic Falls in search of the cure which they didn't find. Because of Katherine a immortal being Silas was awakened and is reaking havock in Mystic Falls.

Silas eventually gets into Damons head and comepls him to shut off his humanity but Scarlett's once "maker/sire" helps Damon snap out of it by shoveing a stake into Scarlett's stomach having Damon think he had killed her but he didn't and Scarlett joked he had "bad aim."

Now we left off when Damon pleads with Scarlett to let him take her on a trip. A place where the sun always shines and that is older then her as a way to make it up to her. But Silas is still around and the cure is still out there. What will happen next is yet still uncertian.

Scarlett is very old so she is stronger and faster then Damon, Stefan and Katherine. She can't make a dream world or transform like Damon does but she seems to have the normal vampiric abilites that are just very hightened, making her stronger than younger vampires. A unique power Scarlett has is breifly shown when she brought Jermey back to life, was transferring her engery to him. As of now, that is the only known power "unique" to Scarlett alone. Scarlet is skilled in the use of weapons and hand to hand combat. She can also read and speak many languages. Her heart belongs to Damon Salvatore.



I'm Damon Salvatore good to meet you.

Born in 1840, Damon Salvatore is Stefan Salvatore‘s older brother. He met and fell in love with Katherine Peirce at the same time his brother did, and at some point did anything to have her. She gave him vampire blood in 1864, and when he was killed by his father, with a gunshot to the chest, Stefan convinced him to drink blood, leaving him trapped in his 24-year-old body. Damon has lived a life of pain and sorrow because of his brother‘s "crimes against him." Damon returned to Mystic Falls to free Katherine from the tome that enslaved her 100 years ago, only to find a beautiful Elena Gilbert (Katherine dobbleganger), he was in love with her the first day he met her, looong before Stefan met her, but he was mainly concerned with Katherine. Having learned of Katherine‘s betrayal, Damon decided to stay in Mystic Falls to rekindle his life with his brother and learn more about this Elena. He also chose to stay because, quite frankly, he was bored with his carefree, partying life. It was his intention to have Elena fall for him so that for once, the handsome bad boy, could get the girl.

His trials were in vain, as Elena finally succumbed to her love for Stefan and the pair of them were married. Damon, as irony would have it, was to be Stefan's best man. Ooops, Damon missed that flight. Drowning his sorrows in alcohol, Damon hears a strange sound in the night, and rushes off to investigate. Miracles would have it, Scarlett Sterling, and old acquaintance/crush, of his from the 19th century, had gotten into a motorcycle accident. He takes her to his home, and the pair of them rekindle their relationship, by going on several adventures together. And an explosion of old flames and new love get tangled up in this tale.

Damon, although arrogant, impulsive and dangerous, is actually quite nice. He is charming and seductive, and is known for never going back on his word. He was very free spirited as a human, and still is, when he relaxes, as a vampire. He’s usually carefree and reckless, but is sometimes really cold and reserved. Usually he’s sarcastic and uncaring of the human realm, but other times he is the superman of the day, and can sometimes be the reluctant hero as well as a humble individual. Sometimes, when he does things, he doesn't tell others about it because he doesn't want them to expect it of him. Damon is a temptation to women and to his brother because he likes to tease him. Damon is extremely protective of his small circle of friends, including his brother, and occasionally commits selfless acts of kindness.

Damon’s abilities are that of a vampire which include strength, speed, mind compulsion, healing powers, immortality, and heightened senses. Damon can run in blinding speeds, and pick up the heaviest things with ease. He can put thoughts into the minds of humans, as well as change his surrounding, in the form of adding mists and the like. His heightened sense makes him the perfect hunter and his ability to shift into crow form proves to be very useful. Being immortal makes him immune to human diseases and normal pains. Abilities unique to Damon (and rarely others as this takes time and practice) include reality control and shape shifting (into a black crow). Damon can create an illusion in a person's mind, whether it be of that person's memories, secrets or fears, or something he creates himself. He has a small ability he can use with the fog. Damon, unlike most vampires, can actually shapeshift into a crow, but this is tiresome, and unless he can get somewhere on his own two feet (or a car) he usually won't use this ability.

➸ Here is the storyline thus far. Below are the chapters from the original roleplay. Please click the links to read each chapter or click this one to start from the beginning. Keep in mind that some chapters are longer than others.

Our story started off when Scarlett Sterling, an old friend of Katherine, Stefan and Damon, returned to Mystic Falls. She crashed her motorcycle and, of course, the dashing Damon rescued her but we all know Damon asking questions. The red head vampiress explained that she ran into his brother and his new bride and said he wasn't in the best of moods and needed some cheering up and that's why she was here. The drunk Damon at first doesn't want her there but maybe it was the drunkness wearing off or his suddeny realization of how much he longed for Scarlett to not turn him down like Elena and Katherine did.

Damon follows her to the Hamptons where they have to deal with a unexpected vampire hunter named Vincent. Vincent threatens Stefan and Elena's lives and in order to get out of a pinch Damon tells him what he knows of a cure to cure vampirism but Damon makes up story to save their lives, which is actually true. This leads the crew on a quest for the cure. However, while Damon and Scarlett get even closer in their own relationship, they fail to get the cure and Silas is awakened.

Once awakened, the anicent witch, turned vampire, compells Damon to turn off ALL of his humanity and make him a vampire tracker for the cure. His efforts were stoped when Katherine takes off with it once again and Scarlet and her maker, Eric, lock him up in the Salvatore celler and try at first beating the humanity out of him litterally. When that fails Eric shoves a stake into Scarlett's stomach causeing Damon to believe Eric had killed her and his mind was free from Silas. Luckly, as Scarlett jokes, Eric has bad aim and Damon is back to normal.

Damon, feeling awful for everything he said to Scarlett while under Silas' compulsion, decides to take Scarlet on a trip. A trip to a place where the sun always shines and that is older then her.

So what will await the vampiric couple in this next chapter? Only time will tell. Read belong and join the world of Hearts Aligned.

▷ ▸ Again, this roleplay is based on Tippie Toe's roleplay, found here. The storyline, thus far, depicted Leda Johnson, a chef, and Archeron Kenyon, a linguist, at their respective workplaces, each oblivious to the other's existance. Leda was told by her boss that a client, who speaks German, was coming to meet them, and that it was Leda's duty to master German in order to make him feel more comfortable. Archeron owns a shop called "Linguology," of which he and his coworkers teach people different languages, or fill in as translators. Due to troubling times where it seemed no one was interested in learning a different language, Archeron and his associates placed an ad in the newspapers, calling to those who need to learn any language or are just curious about them. It is then that Leda sees this ad, and she rushes to Linguology to speak to the own. Upon seeing her lovely self, Archeron, or Ash, as he perfers to be called, instantly throws on his charm (which was already on) and the pair introduce themselves. As it turns out, today was Leda's lucky day because Ash just so happened to speak German, and, unbeknownest to her, every langauge, as Ash hides a dark secret. Upon hearing that he does indeed speak German, Leda asks him to either teach her or be her translator. Before our roleplay was cut short, Ash asked Leda to step into his office to discuss their terms.
