xxxxxxxxxxxx✦ NEUROTIC Is he paranoid? Yes, to a large degree at that. Sky projects an outward calm demeanor so that no one will question his behavior, but he is a victim of several internal conflicts that can only be solved by him alone. While he may be somewhere, just sitting there, and one would think that he was simply staring off into the distance, he would actually be having an internal conflict with himself. He’ll exhaust many possibilities before he comes to from his mental debate and rarely sway from the decision that was made. He does not trust many, only his team, and he even finds himself questioning the motives of the Hero Corps’ employees. He knows exactly why he cannot completely bring himself to trust his own teammates, but is reluctant to admit that fact to himself. He is always listening to his surroundings and watching his back in a nondescript fashion that makes him seem less suspicious. He tends to avoid people when interaction is not required and will only venture into the unknown if it interests him enough.
✦ INDIFFERENT Sky does care about some things; just not everything. Where there should be sad times, Sky would overlook it. When awkward times come around, this man is the type of person who recognizes that elephant in the room and will make a move to push it out. He is unfazed by many things, if they do not concern or relate to him. In fact, he makes an effort to get the attention off of him if it is about personal matters. He does not like to talk about his dreams or his hopes, his aspirations or his feelings; whatever other fluffy sparkly garbage those with proper ‘emotions’ like to gush and sob over. He does not like to deal with people who are emotionally unstable because they have messed up backgrounds and are trying to turn their problems on the present; it’s the ones that bottle up this stuff that he can work with. He does not ‘open up’ about his own life, because that is nobody’s goddammed business. And if you start a sentence with ‘How do you feel?’ you will receive a puff of cancer stick smoke and a steely eyed glare from this surly gentleman. Don’t ask him about feelings. He has to open up himself, which will probably never happen.
✦ ARBITRARY Sky likes to do things his way, which includes a lot of improvisation. He’s that kind of guy that people have to ‘roll with’. He does things with his own style, and do not mind if others have their own ways as long as it does not interfere with him. He moves at a steady, unhurried pace as he likes to observe and assess before he executes. In a way, Sky is like a child. If he is not demanded to do something, he’ll finish the job well with a bit of extra thrown in. If he is demanded, and not in that employer-employee type, but a ‘You better do blah blah blah blah,’ with the unspoken ‘Or else’ hanging there, the results will be something akin to shitty. He requires space, silence, trust, and a peace of mind to perform his best. And while his ways are…rather unconventional, he always comes through in the end. Or get bored and leave.
✦ COMPOSED While he can’t quite compare with the tranquility of ✦ - -the COOL ★)' G R A C E ▶- -❣, he knows full well that he is eons from reaching the tier of ✦ - -the FIRE ★)' S P I K E ▶- -❣ and his fiery disposition. If anything, he’d be between mannerisms. Sky gets pissed off at a lot of things, most of them quite small and trivial, in his head, and some on a physical scale. But he is not one to fly off the handle at every little thing. He likes to think that he has the best of both worlds; being capable of remaining composed in troublesome situations and knowing when he has to be assertive. Things of this nature were bred into him since birth and he utilizes it now as leader. But, he won’t normally express his opinion of something and will most likely go into his internal monologue. Still, to see that he is calmly thinking things through instead of ripping into objects and people with his chainsaw is good. Right?
✦ ENIGMATIC Thinking. Thinking, constantly thinking. Many have to wonder if this man does anything else but think and lead. Well…he does. Total surprise. Does he have his fun sides? Of course. He is a bit of a tease when there is nothing taxing on his mind and can be seen offering a bit of conversation to women who pique his curiosity. But when the time comes, he falls back into his silence. Somehow, his traits manage to combine with only the enigmatic part. Neurotic and enigmatic and he becomes a bit odd and cryptic around others, revealing his comical side. Add arbitrary and he’ll even go so far as to joke about some things. When mixed with indifference, he’s the cold, unmoving leader that everyone think they know so well. With Sky, there is really no guessing as to what he will do, so it’s best not to make any assumptions or hold any…high expectations.
✦ CURIOUS “I know that I know nothing,” – Socrates. This is the quote that Sky lives by. He is aware that it is not of the literal sense, but he merely wants to imply that if he does know something, he would not completely understand it, therefore not knowing it which would mean that he knew absolutely nothing. A very confusing concept, but he’s not going to bother explaining it. He is a curious man, making most decisions on the basis of if something will hold his interests long enough or if it’ll be worth his time. However, he is a bit secretive about his pursuit in knowledge. He goes to great lengths to hide when he is very interested in something, often going behind his teammates’ backs if there is something he wants. Is the information he seek completely harmless and innocent? Not exactly, and he does not care what others would think about this. As long as they do not know too much…He appreciates his own fascination with the unknown, he’d just appreciate it more if others wouldn’t.
