❝the lovely princess❞
“Ugh, it’s such a pain to prepare some grand and festive ball just for a family to meet other families from different kingdoms!” Rebecca complained as she was trying to prepare for her outfit that she was going to wear at the masquerade ball. To be honest, Rebecca disliked it for every time she had to attend to one of these balls because it wasn’t her ‘cup of tea’. Though when she was at the ball, it was like seeing a different persona. Rebecca was in her nightgown looking at the beautiful white dress that she was going to wear for the event. She sighed as she saw it because it looked like the most beautiful dress she saw in her whole life. Thankfully she requested the tailor an outfit like what she was seeing right now. While she was staring at the gown, she heard a knock from one of the maids and she called, “You may come in.”
“Princess Rebecca, the king told me that you should prepare for the ball right now. The guests will be coming soon, and possibly princes that might be waiting for their wife-to-be.” The maid reminded Rebecca before she made a quick departure. Rebecca nodded, “Thank you for the notification.” She smiled a bit and the maid closed the door. She stood there still dreading the ball, but it was only one night, wasn’t it?
After a couple of hours, Rebecca was already dressed up and she slightly opened the door. There were already an abundant of people chattering from one person to the next about their kingdom and anything interesting that was happening to them. She took a quiet breath and mumbled a bit, “You can do this. Just pretend to look like you’re fascinated and excited for this ball when you’re actually dreading it inside that soul of yours…” Within that moment, she took her mask and wore it. Time was passing by and she had to eventually get out of her room and be introduced by the king, who was her father.
Rebecca came out of the door and saw that her father was nearby. The king was already in his late forties and he was enthusiastic when he saw his daughter, “Oh my! Rebecca, you look stunning. Come, we must make our entrance before people wonder about our whereabouts.” He was in a bit of a hurry trying to make the guests pleased so Rebecca held her father’s arm and they slowly walked from the second floor of the house to the first floor where everyone was. Rebecca had a fake smile on as she was gracefully walking down the stairs with her father right next to her. She saw that everyone was captivated by them since they were the hosts and the guests of honor. By the time they arrived at the first floor, she curtsied towards the audience and she could hear everyone clapping loudly.
((OOC: Eh I got lazy to make a fancy post. XD Though I might edit the post style later...oh and hopefully this is good enough for an intro. I didn't want to go overboard like I have with my last few intro posts XP Here's her outfit.))
