►It's Senior Prom!◄
Everyone's talking at Saddler High School. The birds are singing and the flowers are blooming. So it can only mean one thing. Senior Prom is coming! Open to seniors, and of course whomever they choose to bring, prom is always a blast. This year's famous event lands on the 17th of April and the theme is Masquerade. Cliche? Oh very much so. But no two masquerades are alike, and neither are the people behind the masks. That's the mystery of a masquerade. This masquerade however, has some secrets, what are ours?

►General◄
Gaia ToS. Of course. I own the roleplay. Please do not steal. I'm fairly lenient and friendly. Ask and you'll probably get permission to use things. Be courteous to others please. In and out of character. Violence won't appear so much I don't believe, but if it does, there shouldn't be any godmodding or anything. Profanity is fine, as the characters are teens, but still use moderation please? This will be pg13. No ifs ands or buts about it. I would like very much to stay on Gaia and not having anything be banned or reported. That means no cybering. Kissing and lightly making out is about as far as I go. And once the clothes come off, a lovely time skip is in order. (: Thank you.

►Posting◄
I'd appreciate an average of 3-5 paragraphs per post. Less it fine, as is more, but not very often please? Quantity is always more important than quality. So please, have some substance to your posts and give others something to respond to? I'd like to ask that you keep font sizes between 9 and 11. Personal pet peeve, sorry. Pretty posts are loved. But please stay away from blindingly light or neon colors. If I have to highlight your post to read it, it's a no-go on the color. Please bold your character's speech, italicize his/her thoughts and underline any text messages.

Reserves are to be sent in with the title "Sing me something soft, sad and delicate." After I accept them, you'll have 24 hours to send me the profile in a PM titled "Or loud and out of key, sing me anything." It is first come first serve. If you fail to send a profile in time, I will alert you and open up your spot once more. I have nothing against anime, really truly, but I'd like to keep this pictures real please. I'm not fond of scene pictures, but celebrities are fine. Let's try and stay away from Disney actors though. As well as Twilight actors, and Taylor Swift please? Thank you!

►Other◄
I would very much like if we could all get to know each other in the OOC Thread. I love getting to know my fellow rpers. Plus it keeps the IC thread so much cleaning. Plotting, ideas, random chatter, talk about anything there. Also, if you could post in the rp at least three times a week. More is of course loved, but I understand that people have lives. If you're going to be gone for a long period of time, please let me know ahead of time if at all possible. If not, and you're gone without a post for three days, I'll be PMing you. Once you've received the PM [as opposed to it just being sent and you haven't seen that you have a PM waiting] you will have another three days to respond. If I hear nothing, I will PM you once more, this time you have one day to respond. If I hear nothing again, you will be removed from the rp. It's unfair to be kept waiting. And all that you have to do is post either in the OOC or PM me saying that you'll be gone for a bit. I'm really understanding, I promise.

She's going to the dance with Boy Three, but only because she and Boy One broke up on Valentine's day. Their relationship had always been a bit rocky, but they had made do. After the break up, Boy Three was there to comfort her, and though she waited for as long as she could for Boy One to ask for her back, when Boy Three asked to take her to Prom, she said yes as a gesture of thanks.

He went out with Girl One for exactly a year before the two broke up. It was over something stupid, as many of their fights tended to be, but they both decided that enough was enough. He doesn't quite know how he really feels about her anymore, but when he found how that she was going to Prom with Guy Three, he decided that he too would show up with someone else. That someone else happened to be Girl Two.

Girl Two is relatively quiet. She's reserved, but knows how to have fun when the occasion calls for it. She's not a complete bookworm. With a little pressure from her friend Girl Three, she said yes. Now she wonders what exactly is going on.

Taking the opportunity, he helped her out when they broke up, as she was actually a bit distraught. Asking her to Prom was all a part of his plan...
