It was everything BUT quiet in the cafeteria, it never was quiet though today it seemed much louder then all the times before. Derek looked down at his empty tray and glanced over his shoulder to Elle, seemed she was busy talking to that guy. Guess I'll head over to the trashcan. He stood up and pushed his chair out, patting Mike on the back as a hello. Girls stared at him as he passed, he just smiled flirtaciously and continued toward the trash, dumping the crumbs then sticking it up on the traystack. As he was heading back to his table, his saw the f** in line, he wasn't much of a bully so he didn't really mess with kids but something about this guy just bugged him. It seemed like he made Vanessa so uncomfortable. Then again, why in the hell would he give a care if the girl felt that way? I don't. He convinced himself many times that he would never have feelings for someone lower than him, popularity wise. Not that he did have any for the girl, he didn't even know her. Derek didn't even to 'relationships'. He rolled his eyes at the thought of having to do that and turned to look at the blonde, she was pretty but not as beautiful as Elle was, he was still hooked on getting her. He laughed a tthe thought of Elle actually saying yes to going out on a date with him, he hadn't answered her since the beginning of the last year. He went over to the lonely-looking girl and sat across from her. "Hello, I didn't fully introduce myself, I'm Derek Adams." He spoke calmly and smoothly, he wasn't making an attempt to hit on her, just saying a 'friendly' hello. For many years, Derek always had girls coming to him for their first kiss, he was known as the best kisser throughout elementry and junior high, ya know. The memory was so vivid, junior high was a bore though. Girls formed feelings too quickly and they wanted serious relationships, which he, most like other guys, couldn't give. None of them really felt like it, anyway. Plus, in Junior high and Elementry, no relationship was serious like highschool. He only remembered on relationship he had serious, Jaelyn. The girl was the ONLY one and no girl beated her out. Sophmore year, second girl that caught his eye, haha Elle was the first, and bada bing, bada boom, they dated. Four WHOLE months!!! For Derek, that was a big deal but to others, it was just a stupid little fling he had that didn't matter at all to him. Sure he had his times of being a total a** but hey, doesn't everyone? Mike, especially, acted that way. It was more towards girls then anything. One time, he had dated a girl, Elizabeth. Oh did that no end horribly! He screwed it up anyway, his charm was nothing compared to his attitude. He got girls, had sex, broke their heart, then played with their minds. But, for some reason girls always came back to him. Derek was different; he never worked that way, only because Elle would never speak to him again and man would that just suck. As he thought about these things he remembered why he was even seating across from Vanessa and sat up slightly. "I-" Though he was interrupted by the lovely Elle. He looked to his side and saw her seating next to him with a bun in her hand and a smile on her face. "Hi! I'm Elle Morris! You're in my Biology class, right? Man was that hard or what!" She laughed at how much she spoke and mumbled a sorry, looking around the cafeteria with curiousity. Derek held back a laugh then turned to look at Vanessa, about to speak again, but was interrupted, again. Dallas, the homo-sexual boyfriend, came over and sat down next to the blonde girl. He scowled and glared at Derek, not Elle who was still sitting next to him looking like she was curious, though he knew she wasn't. "Ok then. ." The brunette whispered turning Dallas and introducing hersel like they hadn't just been talking about him. No, Dallas didn't want to be nice and speak to Elle, he kept his eyes on Derek who acted as though he wasn't there. It was easy the guy wasn't buff or strong, he was just. . eh. "You invited to the party tonight?" He asked curiously, not looking to the tragic couple, he looked around the cafeteria like Elle, she stopped. {{Crap.}} |
