indentNothing. That's what the topaz eyes were looking at, nothing. The room wasn't filled with things like Edward's was, it was empty and boring, nothing to really look at in interest. There was a small couch and a book shelf with a couple of CDs but more books then anything. Then there was his organized closet that had not even one piece of clothing laying on the ground. Jasper sighed softly at the sound of his family, they were all ragging on him to come downstairs, to head to the human school that he dreaded everyday. Sometimes he wished he could sleep, relax and not think about the taste of human blood but his throat still burned for the taste. Carlisle said it would always be there, the burning you could ignore until it became too much and you had to feed. Vampires were the biggest threats, the beasts who lurked around in the woods at night looking for their next victim, but sometimes that wasn't the case well, for Jasper it was a little. . . He had had the taste of it. The taste of human blood topped any animals in existance. The way it went down his throat and made it so much easier to not worry, to not care.

indentEver since he found Carlisle, Jazzi was able to hold back his thirst, unless it got the best of him. Of course he would have to go out and feed off of the normal animals in the woods, but it was never enough. Life was something that Jasper would've loved to escape when he had gotten bit, why couldn't they just have killed him instead of putting him through this life of hell? He lived like a prisoner. Trapped in his own mind and body, he was unreal to humans. He was like the monster under their beds, he was like the ghost hiding in the corners watching your every move. He was the bad guy. His mind drifted along, thoughts popping in and out like a carnival, he was probably giving Edward a hell of a time. Jasper jumped out of the window and landed in a crouch then jetted out through the forest, he wasn't as fast as Edward but he could sure as hell run. Jazzi leaned on a tree stump and sat down, putting his white hands over his face. This life was getting to be too much for him, it was a secret that was easy to keep but a power harder to hide. He leaned back on the tree and heard a small river across the valley, the fish were swimming around. Enjoy themselves like every flipping thing on this damn earth He shook his head at the thought of people liking to live the life they did, did they really like it or did they think they did?

indentJasper ran back to ther house, he couldn't deal with all the thoughts in his head and surprisingly, he wanted to escape to school. He walked to the car watching his other siblings follow behind, school was a bore in his opinion. Been dealing with it for too many years to care one damn about anything. It was true. He had been at different schools around the world for a few centuries, wasn't it time to let it go and head of to become something other then a pale-faced student? The blonde boy sat in the car like a statue, not turning to even glance out the window or to take a breath, because vampires don't really take breaths. Jasper got up out of his position and walking into the school like a supermodel, except he wasn't strutting or modeling any clothing. After a couple of his classes, he became extremely exhausted, not in a tired away but more in a boring way. It wasn't fun, hopefully not to anyone but Carlisle and Esme told them they should do it. And of course I had to listen.

indentHumans passed him and he turned to follow his siblings into the lunchroom. Emmett was of the girls crush at the school, but he had Rosalie on his arm. Edward was a hotshot too but he gave no one a change and Jasper, well he was just the one walking with them. He always looked like he was in pain and the reason was; the scent of the humans was way too strong for him to breathe it in. All of the Cullens sat down together and Jasper only half-listened to him as he spoke. He was staring at the beautiful pixie-like girl, he couldn't take his eyes off of her. He never felt like this, he listened for her heartbeat and knew that she was just like him. Just like me. He thought calmly, that was a good thing to know. Jazzi snapped out of his moment and turned to look at Edward with a raised eyebrow, "Sure, lets do that." He mumbled, itching the back of his head then turning back to watch the beautiful brunette.

How? Why would they do this? Jacob and Renesmee were so stupid! If they go, Edward will murder them. Her head shook fiercly, this is what the Volturi wanted. They wanted the two to come to them and to ask for permission, but where would that leave them? Dead. She shivered slightly and shifted inher seat so Esme wouldn't tell. They were very naive and completely idiotic. They would never put themselves in danger like that, they were just talking like always, right? Alice growled under her breath, knowing Esme most likely heard her but she didn't pay attention and didn't really want to. A sigh escaped her lips as she listened to the sound of her tires on the soft gravel road. They were growing closer to her shop and it seemed a little busy on the road, was that a good or bad sign?

Esme began to speak, Alice listened or tried and nodded her head understandingly. "Esme, have you every wondered what it would be like to lose someone in our little 'family'? How would we ever move on?" She mostly spoke to herself, she didn't care to ask Esme too loudly, it didn't really matter if she got and answer or not, she would be fine either way. "It's hard to imagine that ever happening." She whispered taking a sharp breath in as she pulled into the small store and a smile, fake, greeted her face. She slipped out of the car and made sure to lock it once Esme was out. Alice walked inside and waved to the two humans behind the counter, Molly and Jane. "Good morning Alice!!! We have the designs you made, finished. They are not on the shelves yet since we were waiting for you to decide. I hope that's ok." Molly whispered and glanced to Esme with a smile. No matter how much the employee's tried to cover it, they were always shocked to see how perfect her whole family looked. Perfect. The word repeated in her head until it was almost a faint sound then disappeared.

Alice nodded and didn't say anything she walked into the back where her 'office' was. It had a lot of bright colors and fabric, she loved fashion it was something that she had to always have with her, no matter what. "These look great! Thank you for putting the tags on them, that really helps me." She spoke softly peeking into the small pile on her text and enjoying the small music playing inside for her radio. "Now, the left wall would look kind of tacky and maybe stuffed, so I'm thinking we should put them on the racks in the window." Her planning voice was taking over, she giggled at the thought and grabbed the clothing then brought them to Molly. "Ok, sounds good. I'm guessing the rotating ones." The blonde grabbed the clothes, with help from Jane and walked to the 'spinner' to set it up. Alice turned to Esme calmly, "Would you like to leave, or stay?"

Death is easy. Life is harder.

Bella walked out to orange car with her head spinning from Edward, how could he just ignore her like that? She was a little pissed and once she saw him talking to Alice, she was jealous. Whatever. As she was about to open her car door she watched as Eric, Mike, and Jessica walked up, Mike leaning on the door. Bella let her hand slip back into her pocket and peeked over at Edward then back to her 'friends' witha raised eyebrow, "Hey Bella, we're going out to the small coffee shop, and wonderin' if you would like to join us." He smiled, trying to be charming but Bella didn't buy it all that much. She smiled back then looked to Jessica who was staring at Mike, who was staring at Eric with an angry expression. "Oh, uh I got something going on tonight." She mumbled, running a hand through her hair then pursing her lips together. She let her hand go to her backpack strap then watched as Eric's smile slowly slipped away from her face, "Oh, well what are you doing?" He asked with a slightly irritated tone. Bella raised her eyebrow at the question then sighed softly, "Just. . stuff with my dad."

They apparently believed her and let her go from the awkward conversation, this was her first day, so why did they have to act like she was their best friend? She sighed as she slammed her door shut and let her hands tighten around the wheel. Her eyes slowly drifted to the side window to see Edward still talking to the beautiful brunette, she shook her head at the thoughts running through her mind. Bella pulled out fo the schools parking lot and drove a normal speed to get to her house. When she pulled up she spotted Jacob sitting on one of the steps, he jumped to his feet with that beautiful grin on his face. Bella hopped down from the car and walked calmly to meet him with a hug. "Hey Bella." He greeted with a hint of sarcasm to his voice, her eyebrow rose but she shrugged her shoulders and opened the front door. The sound of the television filled her ears and she turned to glance at Jake, "Guessing your dads here." She mumbled itching the back of her head then dropping her backpack by the stairs and headed down to greet her father. Billy leaned against the wall with his wheelchair to the back of it, "Hello Bella." He said without letting his eyes peel away from the t.v. Must be a good game. Charlie didn't bother to greet he took a gulp of his Pepsi and let his eyes focus on the game more.

The brunette girl walked into the kitchen then looked at the pizza box on the counter, they ate obviously. Jacob walked over to the table and smile as Bella leaned against the sink, she wasn't hungry. Depressed. That boy totally ignored her, but yet he went to the beautiful new girl instead, expected. No one paid attention to her, especially hot guys. Well, her group of 'friends' did but they didn't really count. "How was your first day of school?" Oh, she zoned out. Bella looked over to Jake who was staring back at her. Her shoulders shrugged and she turned to look out of the window, "Like any other first day, it's horrible being new." She laughed lightly, fakily and Jacob knew that laugh but he ignored it. His head nodded and he looked out of the window as well. Charlie and Billy cheered in the other room, someone scored. "I should begin on my, uh. . . homework." She mumbled about to walk upstairs until the phone ring and she took it from the ringer. "Bella?" The voice answer, Jessica. Searched the yellow pages. Great, now someone was talking her, what a joy. "Hi Jessica." She greeted a little awkwardly, it was odd to speak to someone she barely knew like they were best friends.

"Meet me at the Cafe, I knew you were lying why else would you be answering the phone?" She laughed and sighed. Bella's jaw almost hung open, now it was time to argue. "No Jess-" Then the other line clicked and it was dead. Jacob laughed, knowing that she had not won the argue she was about to begin.
                                {A few minute time skip}
The car pulled up to the white van that belonged to one of her new friends and Bella got out of the car. She wasn't very social and didn't feel like spending time with the kids at school, this would be 'fun'. Bella walked in and was attacked by people from all sides. Eric was the first then everyone else joined in, beginning to talk about things they could do. Everyone sat down at one of the booths and Bella was squished into the middle where she could see everyone blabbing away. This is going to be a long night. . .

The clothes were being dealt with in a good manor, they were close to finished but they would probably get it done soon. Molly and Jane were growing exhausted after a few minutes so Alice, being the sweet person she was, let them go on their break. "Are you sure? Because we can keep going, I think." Jane bit her bottom lip and Molly looked like she was glaring at the ground. Alice shook her head motioning for the door, "Go ahead, be free. Just make sure you came back in an hour, I may be done by then, though." The two women nodded then walked out of the door, letting the bell ring quietly. Alice turned towards the counter and began to mess with some of the papers, before Esme even started speaking, the brunette girl was sent into the vision. The volturi chamber, damp and unwelcoming, stood before her eyes or mind. The look of it was so frightening, it made goosebumps greet her arms. A window was above the locked door frame, and shoes hit the ground angerly, "Get on with it if you will!" Caius grumbled, all the volturi blew through the doors and sat down on their chairs. There, standing before them, was Esme. Alice was frozen in place and as she turned around, her eyes were black. This meant two things for the vampire, either she needed to feed or she was upset beyond belief.

Esme, then, began speaking. She couldn't hear it, no wait, she didn't want to hear it. This women that was supposed to be her 'mother' was now acting like an idiot! She was putting herself in danger. Alice closed her eyes wishing for some other option to come into Esme's mind. It's death or torture. "I don't know Esme. . . you know how I feel about anyone of us going to the volturi. If I give you this, you have to promise me something, too." She glared at the ground, her eyes were now the color of coal, she didn't move an inch when she began to answer, "Promise me that when you come back, there will not be a scar on your body." This promise was something that Esme probably couldn't keep, it was worth a try. Alice sighed softly and her eyes slowly went back to normal. It was time to be on her own, to try and help her family by herself. Alice was the only one who could try and keep her family happy, so this was her big shot and she wouldn't blow it. She went vampire-speed to Esme and gave her a quick hug that lasted only one second and smiled, "I know you can do this, Esme. Think of it as a challenge." Her eyes flickered to the clock then to her computer screen.

The background was a picture of a little black rose in the middle of all the reds, was that a sign?
Was she meant to be alone? Without Jasper, or anyone in her family? Could she really become a nomad? The air Alice took in was fresh and beautiful, the smell flowed calmly through her nose then faded away. Telling Carlisle would be easy, say it quick then hang up, not easy but not hard either. "You should get going, I'll stay here and, well, just be happy" Her smile showed up on her lips, this one was real and she would try her best to keep it that way.

indentJasper was quiet through all of the events the occured, he didn't pay much attention to his surroundings when he was distracted. Forever he had been looking for someone to love, but it seemed that the person could never find him, they just wouldn't come. It was heartbreaking to know that more Jasper Hale couldn't find someone to love, he had fans such as girls who gawked at him but he never paid attention to them. He called himelf 'the ugly vampire and the lonesome one.' He was alone and even if he did have a chance with the beautiful new girl, he wouldn't get her. Jazzi didn't care that Emmett and Rosalie had left them, good now they could go have their fun. He shook his head in disgust at the thought of coming home to that sound. The blonde vampire let in a gust of air and smelt the gorgeous scent of the beautiful vampire that belonged to it. His brother did all of the talking, like always. Edward could talk better with humans and other creatures but no, Jasper was the stupid one that followed him around everywhere.Jazzi only half-listened to Edward as he spoke to the girl known as, Alice. What a wonderful name, but did he only think that because it fit with his? Yes. He smirked, cocking his head to the side. As they got into the girls car, he sat in the seat next to Edward's, though he wanted to sit back with girl more than anything. The ride was quiet and boring.

Jasper got out of the car as they got to the house and listened to Edwards orders, saluting and laughing. Jazzi didn't speak to Alice, he didn't know what to say to her comment, so he spoke nothing. As the others walked her around, trying to get some answers out fo her, Jasper went outside and sat down on one of the stair's. He didn't care to listen to them be this way towards her, she was a vampire. It was as easy as that. After a few minutes, it grew too much plus, the whole being outside thing wasn't what he felt like doing. Jasper ran up the stair's and pushed through the doors, walking over to Alice and kneeling, "Don't mind them, they're just acting like maniacs." He said with a grin and felt Emmett punch his shoulder, but not hard, playfully. "If you would like to go, you could. We don't want to hold you here captive. I'm Jasper, as you know probably know." He felt eyes on his back, in awe. He hadn't spoke this much since the second day of him being a vampire, many questions. He shrugged shoulders then leaned in to whisper, "I'm a vampire, too." He leaned away, was his family really stupid enough to believe that she wasn't one?

Jenna Denise Weasley

She's the girl with the attitude, the one with the smile,
she's the one who holds her head high, and
knows how to hold a fight, she doesn't forget
things as much as some, she sticks to her
own opinion until it changes, she holds grudges
against people for far too long, but hey, the girls
young and she had just begon.

The sound of water coming from a shower somewhere inside of the house, made Jenna Weasley wake up. She felt a little drowsy and really needed a cup of warm coffee but she still had her head on her pillow, not wanting to wake up to her parents. Jen let out a soft sigh and sat up in her bed. She let her arms stretch out and heard her back pop, it felt good but she soon felt back on her bed. Last minute shopping. She just wished Hogwarts was already starting up, it would make everything unstressful. "Jenna Denise! ! ! Last minute shopping remember?" Her father called up, his deep british accent was hilarious, Jen had it to and sometimes she could sound australian as well. Being away from Hogwarts was like being away from her family, it was horrible and she felt like she was empty inside. Jenna, the sweet-talker. She was somebody who got her way easily, the girl who could be as sly as a snake and as smooth as a cheetah. She was never the girl in the background and she was never the girl in front either, where ever she went, people knew who she was. A Weasley was never forgotten, she came from a family that was cousins with the Potters, how could she be forgotten? Uncle Ron always told her that she was special, and she knew it was true.

Smartass, much? Yes, yes she was. Jen whistled loudly and heard the white bird come through the window, "Good boy, now go downstairs and bring this to my father." She whispered in it's ear, sticking the small piece of paper in it's claws then watching it fly out of her room. Beautiful creature, he is. Owls were beautiful, she decided against have a cat only because she wanted one that didn't need too much attention, they needed little. Jenna got out of her bed and skipped to the bathroom, letting the door fly open and hit the wall, they know I'm awake now. She giggled then let her pajama's fall to the ground. After her shower was over and she was all clean, tied up in her pink towel, Jenna walked over to her closet. It was fair-sized and she had plenty of clothes, but she needed more to take to Hogwarts. All of these she more more then five times, so it was time for new ones. She pulled on the beautiful clothing then sat down on her bed, peering around her bedroom and waited for her bird to return.

Jenna grimaced at herself in the mirror then finally got sick of waiting for the damn bird and walked down the stair's. "Good morning." Her father greeted with his hands placed on the counter in front of him. Jen nodded his way then looked around the livingroom, where was her mother? "Where's mum?" She asked curiously, crossing her arms over her chest and tapping her foot on the hardwood floors. The floor wasn't waxed this time. thankfully. Usually it was and Jenna always came tripping down the stair's, it was probably riot to watch but for her, it was scary everytime. "Outside waiting in the car for you." He nodded messing with his wand. Jen nodded then skipped over to the door, leaning down and quickly snatching her book up with her right hand. "BYE DAD!!!" She called out the door and ran down the long driveway. She saw the black convertible at the end and waving to her mum, it was still strange. . . ya know, knowing that you're a wizard and all.

Hogwarts; where dreams come true. It was the best quote that Jenna had ever heard, because it was true. There was no lie about that and Jen was still trying to get used to the potions and creatures that were around every door in that damn school. "Well don't you look just adorable today!" Her mother exclaimed as Jenna scooted into the passenger's seat, letting her bag go on their ground by her feet. The brunette just smiled at her mother and rolled down her window a little. Her slim hand reached out towards the radio and she clicked on the 1 button, singing along to the song playing. Just because she's a wizard, doesn't mean she can't enjoy herself like all of the other teenagers. As they arrived to one of Jen's favorite stores, the girl swore she saw someone familiar go inside, but she just shook her head and ignored it. "I'll meet you after I'm done." Jen said stopping her mother before she could follow. The look on her mothers face didn't even make her feel bad for what she said, the brunette just turned around and walked into the store, with her glasses ontop of her head and her legs carrying her throughout the aisles.

Aisle three had beautiful jewelry and outfits galore, she wanted everything but knew that she couldn't. If I was rich, I bet I could. She smiled crookedly then went on, she was a shopaholic and could shop til she dropped.

(~~the вα∂ вσy~~)

Dammit! What a lovely morning for Cameron Finnigan, falling out of bed and getting hit in the head by a lamp, ahh, the joys of the morning sunshine. "For damnsake!" He cursed looking at the blood on his head, for what reason did this happen to him? Maybe because it's just carma for what he always does? Psh, yeah right. Cam stood up and walked into the bathroom, taking a hot dishtowel and putting it to the back of his head. "Cameron! Cameron! Cameron, are you alright!?" The fratic yelling from his mother was beginning to tick him off. He ignored her. The young boy washed off his face then turned towards the door, surprised to see his mother walking in, "What in the bloody hell happened he- are you bleeding?" He really needed to sign her up for mother protection program, she would be amazing. The brunette boy nodded his head then felt her touching the scar that stung like hell. "Mom, I'm fine." He grumbled pushing her hands away and walking out of his room. It was crazy how parents could get so obsessive other things so little!

Cam walked down the stair's in his outfit for the day. It was flipping idiotic to go shopping that day, especially since his mother was forcing him to come along. The shopping was for him, yes but did he want to go shopping? No. That was for his mother to do by herself, it didn't see why he had to come along. "Bye dad." Cameron grumbled grabbing his cellphone off of the counter then walking outside, he heard his father call something out to him but he didn't care much for what his father had to say. He spotted the large truck in the driveway as he turned the corner of his garage, it was just the boring old piece of junk his father had bought two years ago from some sixty year-old man. Hope it doesn't break down. He kicked the tire on the side watching it for a minute then turning back to the door. "What has your father said about kicking the tire young man?" His mother scolded, shaking her head and letting the door unlock so he could get in. Cam rolled his eyes, "Yeah, yeah, yeah." He climbed into the car and slammed his door shut. As they pulled out of the driveway neighbor children passed by waving their hands around like monkeys, "Well aren't they just adorable!" Yes little munchkins running around on bikes and annoying the living s**t out of the whole neighborhood is pretty damn adorable. If he wasn't a Ravenclaw, he would be a Slytherin.

He leaned back in his chair and stuck his hands in the back of his head, relaxing. The radio turned on after two minutes of complete silence and Cam let out a soft sigh, finally he didn't have to hear his mothers voice nagging him. Then she began to do something worse then speaking, singing. "Mom, if you love me, you will stop." He said making his voice higher then the music playing on the radio, she didn't stop. Great, now I'm going to be stuck in hear waiting for my eardrums to explode. Finally, the hell was over and Cameron was let out of the horrible car. "Meet me somewhere out here when you're done!" His mother called over her shoulder then ran off going to a shop across the street, Cam watched her until she was out of his sight and turned around. Shopping? No, what was the need for shopping for clothes couldn't he just shop for books or some other crap instead of that? Cameron walked into a store closet to himself, not bothering to look a the sign and spotted a couple of bookshelves. It was a clothing store but it still sold other equiptment. Well, books were boring and what would people do if they saw Cameron in a book store? He shook his head walking as quickly out of the store as possible.

Might as well go look around other places. He passed a couple of different stores that caught no interest of his and finally he spotted a small coffee shop, it was slightly familiar. His mother and father used to come here to chill, which made him leave and go find something else to do. He rolled his eyes at the thought of his parents enjoying the horrible-looking place but decided, why not? He was thirsty so why not get coffee? Cameron yanked the door open passing a couple then walked up to the counter where a lady behind it stood, and asked her for a coffee. When he go it, he turned around and spotted a girl who he seemed to remember from Hogwarts. Caely. . something, oh yeah! Caely Winters. He walked over to her table and sat down across from her, "Hey Caely," He greeted, inviting hismelf to sit with her since they were in the same house.

The male vampire sat on a rock, looking out into the opening, eyes narrowed and focusing on something above the hill. A mountain lion. He was like a statue, if you someone screamed in his face, he would still be there, looking the same. Edward suddenly stood up and dashed through the woods. He was the fastest in his family and always held races against his brothers, like children. As he grew closer and closer to the lion, he stopped. His feet dug into the ground and he watched it, waiting for the right time to plunge at him with force. Edward got down in a crouch, knowing that if the lion could hear him then it would've ran off already. In a blink of an eye, Edward was ontop of the lion, wrestling with it and avoiding the viscious bites and snarls. Soon it went still and there laid the corpse underneath him, and his mouth dripped with blood but he just wiped it away and threw the dead corpse into the bushes. Atleast the burning calmed down. It would always be there, haunting him and taunting him to taste the blood of a human but he never did, because he had the stregth and the willpower to hold it back.

Renesmee and Jacob were married, and Edward was very glad for them. He wouldn't want anything more than to have his daughter happy, but the volturi were now getting themselves involved. It seemed as though the volturi focused more on the Cullens then any of the other vampire covens, was it really that easy for them to find out this information? Well, yes. They're the damn volturi and can do what ever is in their power, they can win unless they grow weak. Edward remembered the last time the Cullens spoke, or actually saw the volturi. They wanted to start something, a fight with eachother but they lost people and had to back down. It was because of Renesmee and Bella tried her hardest to make sure Nessie was safe. Edward knew she would be, or atleast hoped. He was relying on Alice and she came through for him, that's why she's his favorite sister.

Being a vampire wasn't easy, you had to hold onto memories of old friends that passed away years ago and focus on the future, that's all you could truly do with yourself. Being a werewolf sure as hell didn't seem easy either, but it was easier than holding back your thirst for human blood. They could really eat whatever they wanted but they were also monsters to humans so that's why who they were, was a secret. Bella made it easy for him, Edward didn't have to tell her what he was, she figured it out on her own. Or, Jacob dropped some hints. He hadn't really heard all the details about her finding it out, but it didn't really matter to him anyways.

Protecting his family was pretty much the only thing that mattered to him, he would do anything to protect them, just like Carlisle. But you see, Carlisle was the peacemaker, he made everyone calm and relax. Kind of like Jasper, who could change others emotions, which was pretty cool to Edward. All his family wanted was peace and for everything to be fine and ok, but with them around, it was pretty hard. Emmett would join in if he planned a huge fight against them but who else would? Who actually wanted to die. . . again? The only hope they had was to be left alone, to be done with all the bull the volturi was throwing at them, it wasn't a huge request. Edward looked around the woods then set off through the tree's again, breaking through them like Jacob used to do when he was getting into wolf-form.

Oh, he must've goneto his daughter's house on accident, he didn't mean to do that. He was about to turn around until a scent came to his nose, it was unfamiliar and it irritated his nose. Another. . . vampire? Edward was in a crouch but his eyes suddenly turned to black, so they sent a visitor, did they? He ran towards the smell with full confidence of killing the vampire, but what good would that do? Who would that save in this situation? That would just give Aro and his brothers more reason to come down to forks themselves. Damn them. He rolled his eyes then finally stopped, he was only a few feet away from the girl, in full view. "So they sent Caius' bodyguard? Wow, smart choice." He grumbled, kicking the dirt underneath his feet and looked back at the women. He recognized her from the few years back, guess he didn't have a choice but to ask her name. Not like I can kill her right here, maybe I could ask. . . His thought trailed off and his simply shrugged his shoulders.

"Come with me." He mumbled, not really giving her a chance to say no and taking her arm then running toward's the cullen household. It was misty outside, he knew it was sure to rain harder later on but he was a cold either way so it wouldn't irritate his skin. As he arrived to the frontsteps he raised an eyebrow as, Esme, a girl, and Bella stood on the front step. He still had the girls arm in his hand looking back and forth from all three of the faces. The one smelled like a. . .wolf? "Look who I found, Caius' bodyguard." He paused looking to the wolf, "Edward Cullen." He introduced like a gentleman.

How could Aro just simply think he could do this to his family? Carlisle knew they weren't that great of friends, but didn't he remember that they used to be? The blonde vampire wasn't one for violence. He prevented anyone from fighting because people in pain, made him hurt as well. Being a doctor made it worse, but he enjoyed making people feel better, it didn't make him feel like he was even a monster. But he was trapped in his own body, a monsterous body. Most parents told their kids that vampires weren't real, smart choice. Vampires weren't hideous creatures, but they were the worlds largest predators, people searched for years and years to find someone like him. They never succeeded. Carlisle's father even haunted vampires, that was how Carlisle became one. Searching for vampries out in the woods, and he found one but got turned into one himself. It was horrible, like living a nightmare that was so vivid yet so unreal.

Vampires; unreal monsterous creatures. Carlisle sighed softly as he sat in his office flipping through a couple of pages in a book. He was looking for a pacific medicine that one of the doctors at a clinic down the street was asking him for. Carlisle promised the man he would try to search for it when he wasn't so busy, and finally he got to it. The blonde vampire hummed a light tune and his eyes froze on one of the pages, reading along, quickly. He grinned as he found what he had been looking for, he did it! Carlisle turned to his computer and quickly began typing an email to the man then hit send. He picked up the three other books he looked through and stuck them on the shelves. The last fifty years were a little boring, nothing really went on. The Cullen family was doing great, they could live again and be free from the worries of the Volturi coming back. Then Jacob and Renesmee began dating, yada, yada, yada. . . and that's when everything happened.

The volturi decided to step in then, they wouldn't stand for this. It didn't make it any easier on the couple, now they had to worry about their family when really, they were the ones who needed to be kept save. No matter how strong of large Jacob was, he wouldn't be able to fight off the volturi on his own. Whoever they sent, it would probably be someone who was a very big threat. Most likely Felix. . He was the strongest and Emmett would be quite excited if he came and wanted to fight, but that would be too easy to guess. Jane, Alec, and Felix were out of the question. They were way too easy to predict, Alice would've had a vision already, she would know if they settled for a plan. But no, Aro was using that to his advantage and kept changing the plans.

Carlisle sat stiffly on the chair, staring at the screen and zoning out. Once in a while, he would wish he could close his eyesand sleep. He didn't remember what it was like to sleep, to dream and slip away from reality, what was reality anymore, anyway? Carlisle looked over the computer and listened to footsteps come closer then closer, then Esme appeared. "Oh really?" He pulled himself up from the chair and walked over to the door, peeking his head out and letting the smell fill his nose. A werewolf. He paused and froze in place. And. . . Athena? "No, actually I was just preparing to pull myself out of this horrible room and maybe go hunting, I can wait." His voice was smooth but stiff, if Athena was here then where was Caius? They would not leave Caius without his dearest bodyguard. Carlisle was slightly confused but kept his facial expression composed and sighed, watching Esme leave then looked out of the window.

"If only it was possible to escape this world I live in. . ." His voice trailed off in a whispered and he turned back around, walking out of the room then down the stair's. He passed Edward who was almost glaring at Esme, and turned into the other room.

There, Bella and a beautiful young women sat. Carlisle kept quiet and gracefully walked over to the other side of the room. "Hello. I am Carlisle Cullen." He paused glancing around the corner, and only hearing his wife trying to calm down Athena. "My wife told me you were looking for me, what can I help you with my dear?" He asked her with a smile then turned towards Bella, nodding in a 'good morning' gesture. It was quite confusing still. The shape-shifter wolf, or what not, and Athena, Caius' guard, all in one day?

What was poor Doctor Carlisle Cullen's life coming to?

No one dressed by me, ever looks like an idiot.

How can something so small
be so annoying?

A face full of beauty and a body laid out on a hill, belonged to a vampire, a pacific one. Alice. The pixie-like girl rested her hand on the palm of her hands and let her feet kick, she just laying on her stomach. So what was this girl doing away from her family? She needed to escape, that was pretty much all she could do at a time when most of her family was a little worrried. Alice wasn't, and she couldn't figure out why. She had spoke to Edward many times, trying to make him help her figure out this situation she was in. The last fifty years were almost calm but everyone was still waiting, waiting for the volturi to come and pick something out that they didn't approve off. Finally they did. Alice was didn't from most vampires, she didn't like sitting still for more than an hour like her family was used to, she hated being locked up in the house so she headed out to shop.

The fashionable Cullen, who would've guessed? The small brunette shifted in her position and rested her head on the grass. It was crappy outside, just how she liked it. Alice hated sunny days, they couldn't go out and have fun, staying at home or 'hiking' through the woods. The small girl sighed and began to hum a random tune, she loved the mountain peaks, it made her feel at ease and peaceful. It wasn't her best interest to go down to the household yet, she felt better sitting by herself. As she went on with her random humming, she heard Edward. He was speaking harshly to someone, Bella? No, he would not dare to speak to his beloved wife that way, then who? Alice let her ears perk up and heard the sound of tree's rustling quite off beat from where she was, and her eyes slowly narrowed.

They sent someone. Well, they didn't just send someone, they sent Athena, but why? Athena. . . she's someone's guard. She sat still, thinking deeply into her head. She wanted to figure out whose guard she was. Aro's? No. Marcus'? No. Caius'. . . YES! Wow, this girl was the one who 'protected' Caius? Then why where in the hell was he? Alice shrugged her shoulders and jumped to her feet. The volturi of course sent someone expected, everyone was fretting about Jane or Alec. Alice was a little relieved. Why? Because, she didn't have to look into the future to try to find who the volturi were sending, her headache's would stop now!

Alice walked human pace through the woods, she probably wasn't even needed but she would go anyway. She gracefully kicked a small rock around and twirled happily through the tree's, same old Alice. "If Bella isn't wearing anything I approve of, we will have a serious problem." She sat to herself, giggling a little. The girl skipped the rest of the way.

She hopped over the large river and successfully landed on the ground. Edward? Edward? She called out to her brother through her thoughts, but he didn't show up. What was his problem? No one in the family got mad at eachother very much, Rosalie did get mad at everyone for welcoming Bella into their lifes but she soon got over it . . . kind of. It was never an issue if someone arrived at the house unwelcomed, trespassing, perhaps. Carlisle took care of it, like the great man he was.

For many years, Alice envied humans. She couldn't remember most of her human-life and never really got used to the fact that she was a vampire. A monster. No one ever recalled Alice being very depressed, only when Renesmee was in Bella's somtach, did she slip slowly into the stage. It bothered her very much that she couldn't see her niece, not even the wolf pack. She knew why, but once in a while, she asked Carlisle to search it up just in case the information changed.

One thing she did recall, was James. After Carlisle explained what had happened to her, Alice remembered his face, every detail. She despised that man for the cruelty he caused her, everytime she heard of his name it sent shivers down her spine. The girl climbed the steps to the house and opened the door in silence. The house was filled with 'hello's' and people introducing themselves. What did she miss now? Alice looked around the room with a gentle smile and walked into the livingroom. Her eyes first went to her husband but then to the girl sitting next to Carlisle, she smelled. Not in a mean way, but her scent reminded her a little of Jacob's but it was off. After staring at the girl for a moment, Alice stepped forward and tilted her head to the side to the face of the beautiful women better.

"Oh hello there!" She began cheerfully leaning down and giving the girl a hug, she was already used to the smell since Jacob was always around. "I'm Alice, Jasper's wife." She directed her head toward's her husband, flashing him her dazzling smile. As she stood there, a draft came through the window and a sweet scent filled her nose. Athena was inside of the house, obviously. Alice turned towards her husband and gracefully walked over, sitting down on his lap. She leaned down to whisper to him, only he could hear. "What is Athena doing here?" She whispered pulling away and turning to glance around the room. Acting as though she hadn't even whispered anything to her husband. All of a sudden, Alice stood up and tried to walk calmly out of the house, until she was out side of the house, did she see the girl. Selena, as some called her. "Hello, would you like directions back to Italy?" Her voice was pleasant, yet deathly.

She then walked closer, glancing back to the house the the girl again, "Why are you here, they already sent Athena down here, I don't think we need another one of you here." She growled, so low that it was even hard for her to hear herself.

Derek opened the glass door and stepped out of the shower, fogged escape the door. It was pretty hot inside, stupid water systems. . . He grabbed a towel then wrapped it around his waist hiding his little 'friend'. The boy turned to glance out of the door, looking to see if the coast was clear. Throughout the whole summer, he banged about. . . probably, 26 girls. Hey! Don't judge him, it was a slow year. He walked out and made sure to not make any sudden movement, just in case his parents were actually home. One he thought it was safe, he creeped to his room and shut the door. The room was nothing but white, in his opinion it was boring. His parents were rich, and were thankfully never home. Neglect? Nope, not at all. They worked, he. . well he did pretty much whatever the hell he wanted to.

Other than banging chicks and going to parties, Derek did to some sports. Mostly football, it was interesting since he was pretty large and muscular, most of the guys were wimpy and sticks. Though, after about four or five weeks, they were catching up to his size. With all of the workouts they put you through, it wasn't very hard to get big. After doing that for about a month, he dropped out and did what he did best, nothing. Though, he did have something that no one, NO ONE, knew about. His music. Man did that boy know how ot play piano, he was in band, because he sorta go pushed into it; parents. If anyone of his friends found out, man. . . it would suck. Everyone of the bandgeeks knew not to tell, he knew how to use his fists. He did know some girls who would be happy to punch one of the girls in the face, but they swore to not tell so he was pretty much good.

Derek grabbed an outfit randomly then stuck a hat on his head. His iphone went off just as he was about to walk downstairs. He popped the screen up and read the text with uninterested eyes. Mike Dawson, the biggest jackass in school. No surprise he would be sending a text to Derek. They had met at a party and gotten along great, maybe drunk or something. . . but anyway, he said that he would see him at school and stuff. Now, somehow, he had gotten his phone number and decided they would be good friends. Don't get him wrong though, Derek didn't mind the guy so much, but he was quite a big competition.

                                                To: Derek
                                                From:Mike
Ayy man! You wanna come pick me up fo school?
I'll walk there, if you'd like man. .

The text was just like Mike talked. He acted as though he was african american and didn't give a care in the world hos ehe smelt s**t. Derek shook his head at the memory of him talking to this one mexican girl in Taco Bell, even know her English wasn't that well, Mike's was ten times worse, especially since he had gotten a little tipsy before they came. Every word he spoke was a slur. His head shook from side to side as he remembered every single word that Mike spoke, well he tried to atleast. It was mostly flirting but it was still damn hilarious since the poor girl was looking at him like he was on crack. No, just drunk. He laughed lightly and began to text back.

                                                To:Mike
                                                From: Derek
I'll come pick you up, I just got out of
                                                the shower.

He hit send then stuck it into his pocket with a sigh. The seventeen year-old headed out of his room then ran down the stairs. He heard the t.v on and looked to see his sister, Rachelle. "Sup." She greeted not bothering to turn around, no one was home but them. Derek didn't respond. He walked over to the counter and flipped through the mail with a bored look then turned around, heading out of the house. Mike better be ready, he thought. Even know he was a big player/ladiesman, he didn't want to miss the first day of school. Plus there was bound to be a cute new girl or something, oh well. He got into the black toyota then road off towards Mike's street. He wasn't rich but he wasn't poor, his father hired mike's; they were most likely going to get more money.

It wasn't like the street his friend lived on was. . . bad, but it didn't have private land or gates that headed into different houses, Derek's did. He listened to a song on the radio and finally spotted the large gray house, putting his car in park and honking his horn. He probably woke up most of the neighbor hood, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Mike came out in 'gangster clothes' and jumped in, making the car rattle a little. "Dude, don't do that." Derek mumbled pulling out of the small street then heading towards the direction of the local highschool. The schools were all close together, elementry was only across the street and junior high was only a block down, not that far. School was packed. Cars were lined up and down each street he passed, Mike was texting people and talking at the same time.

The boy was pretty humorour actually, he began to bash some of the old teachers and Derek couldn't help but laugh at that. Was he this hilarious before? Once they got to school, it was like a jungle. The cliques were everywhere. Jocks, cheerleaders, popular girls, popular boys, geeks, music nerds, emo's, goths, etc. He found a parkingspot just for him and parked the car, hopping down. He grabbed his backpack and walked towards the large steps leading towards the hell-filled halls. "Damn, everyone's here man. It's gonna be an awesome here, right?" Mike said beside him, nudging his side with his elbow. Derek just shrugged his shoulders and pushed the doors open. Yep, he was right. The hallways, well, all you could see was people. Freshmans, sophmores, juniors, seniors. He headed towards his new locker and put the combination into the lock, it snapped open and he stucked his stuff inside quickly. He head to try to blend-in with the crowd.

After he finished. He walked swiftly down the hall, it wasn't full but it wasn't empty either. Thankfully, no popular kids were ever down there, so his first class was going to be easy to get through. Derek walked into the Band room, not looking around, only heading over to the piano in the front of the room. He pulled the seat out and sat down. He then looked up. A blonde in the back catched his eyes, but he didn't stare for long, he examined the rest of the faces. Some looked normal, not what he would expect, but others, well they fit into his imagination. Derek turned to the piano and looked up at the book with notes written across the paper. He read each line throughly and nodded calmly. The teacher then walked into the room, and introduced herself. . band. Derek Adams was in band.

From what it seemed, the bandgeeks were comfortable around eachother, talking with low murmurrs and laughing occasionally. This wasn't very interesting to Derek, considering he liked no one in the class and wanted to escape through the window. It was his parents fault he was in this mess, damn why did they have to be so parental at times? He rolled his eyes a little, Rachelle was the spoiled child, she got whatever the hell she wanted, when she wanted. Well, he did to but not as much as she did. For example; she was able to stay home only because her boyfriend broke up with her two months ago and she was still heartbroken over it. When really, she was already dating Tyler McCoy. Gets away with anything, yet they never notice. While he waited for class to begin, Derek began to correct a couple of notes, fixing each beat with a little line and writing down what it should be. He didn't want his music to sound like crap.

There shouldn't be a rest there. He kept on correcting until his name was called, he looked up to the teacher with a blank expression and nodded her way, "Yup." He mumbled turning back to his music and working on the last two lines. He finished soon enough and turned the pages back, reading over the first couple of lines. His friends all had P.E first, that was his second class. He had a few meaningless classes after that, and then lunch. First days weren't enjoyable to him, they were boring and really, Derek didn't see a point to even show up. Rachelle wasn't. He itched the back of his hand and listened to the rest of the name, well kind of they were like an echo compared to what he actually thinking about. Which was practically anything that could come into his mind.

Then his name was called again, what now? He looked up to see the blonde women holding out a folder, but not looking directly at him. She apparently knew he was going to say yes. He took it from her hands then walked out of the classroom. As Derek walked out, he spotted the cute blonde girl whose name he totally forgot. She was with a boy, he looked kind of. . . gay. Or he's just scrawny and very. . . 'pretty'. All the hot chicks had boyfriends, then again, not all did. He looked down at the folder in his hands as he continued walking. It held no interest for him so he took out his cellphone and scrolled through the numbers of friends he could text. He had 398 contacts on his phone, he knew a lot of people. His inbox had 560 messages and his sentbox had 450. He cleaned delete all and watched the little envelope disappear into the trashcan. Now he would text his friend, Elle.

                                                To: Elle
                                                From: Derek
Hey babe, which class you in?

He pressed send and put his phone into his pocket. He had been trying to get Elle since 8th grade, not that he wanted to lay her but he always wanted to date her. He gave up though. She didn't seem to notice that he flirted with her but he did, well he did with mostly any girl but he had his limits. Especially if they were bandgeeks, he made a disgusted face then got into the office. Right after he arrived, the blonde chick did too. Though, he didn't say anything, not even acknowledging her presence. He slid the paper towards the women behind the desk and told her what the band teacher said. "It's great to see you Mr Adams, thank you for bringing this down." He nodded towards her then began turned towards the door. He glanced over his shoulder at the girl then looked at the papers, Miss Call was psuhing towards. But, the girl wasn't paying attention and everything landed on the ground.

Derek sighed and bent down, grabbing a couple and stacking them into a pile. "And that's gravity." He said under his breath and smiled charmingly towards the blonde but didn't say anything to her. He stood up and opened the door, standing there waiting, might as well keep up his strange kindness. "I don't think my kindness if going to last so long, so you might as well soak it up while you can." He said, joking but he didn't really sound like it. That's when he phone vibrated his pocket, he quickly grabbed it and read the text.

He didn't respond. He shut the phone and stuck with his hand in his pockets and his eyes on the girl, waiting. If she was really going to be this slow, he would head back to class. How long did it take to get to her feet and walk out of the flipping room?

Derek walked down the hall, watching as Vanessa and her gay boyfriend had a good time. It was kind of disgusting. He looked so. . . well, ya know. It looked like he boners just from her walking, wow was this dude a virgin? Was that even possible anymore? Derek thought about that as went back to the bandroom, it wasn't. . . was it? He shook his head, nope. The boy went to the piano in the corner of the room, and as they instructed, everyone began playing. The music actually went perfectly. Derek didn't come in until it was his turn and watched his hands do the magic, best as always. After a couple of solo's everyone went back to playing with eachother. The teacher congratulated every single one of them with an applause or a big grin, she kind of creeped him out. Her smile was like grim reepers. Not that the dude was scary, but on her, it sure as hell was.

The blonde women sat back in her chair and closed her eyes nodding to the music, maybe we can put her to sleep and she won't be able to speak anymore. Everyone stopped playing, and a small girl in front raised her hand high in the air, it looked as though she was about to have an issue in her yellow pants. Freshmen were always the ones who raised their hands at pretty much anything, curious about the little things that didn't really matter anymore. Tony, a boy who was popular in the Sophmore here, messed with his cellphone. So naive. If he needed to be sly, he would've acted like he was messing with his instrument, damn. . did he need to teacher everyone everything?

His head tilted to the side and he felt his phone vibrate, again. "Yes, Ellena?" Then the squeak-voiced girl asked the stupidest question and the teacher answered with a stupid answer. Well wasn't everyone just so stupid today? Derek held back a laugh when someones phone rang off, nice move slick. "A cellphone? In my classrooom?" She said, acting surprised but you knew any minute she would go off like a bomb. The nerdy boy handed over to her and she toyed with then stuck it in her drawer mumbling something. Were all teachers so cranky? Dude, give the boy a break! He was trying to turn it off as fast as he could! Damn. Derek stood up when the bell rang and grabbed his stuff, he walked swiftly out of the door, almost knocking into the little dweeb the hot chick hung out with. "Move, Harper." He mumbled. For some reason that offended the dork and his eyebrows furrowed, "It's Dallas." He said through clenched teeth and Derek walked around him, laughing.

"Like it matters. ." He walked down to his locker and messed with the lock, next class was P.E. Harper, Dallas, whatever his flipping name is, better not be in my ******** class, I'll beat the living out of that useless little lifeform. The boy watched an invitation slowly drop from his locker. He crouched down and read it, HELLO!! YOU'VE BEEN INVITED TO THE BEST PARTY OF THE SCHOOLYEAR! GO TO DYLAN COOPERS HOUSE ON(address) and call (phone number). HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!! Derek shrugged his shoulders, he would probably go. He slammed his locker shut and headed out to the lockerroom.
After he finished getting dressed, the boy headed down to the gym room. He had been beaten by most of year, so he headed to his group of friends that were sitting on the wooden bleachers. "You guys on the invite?" He asked curiously, sitting down next to Mike who was on his phone. "Yeah, I'm going." He said with a nod of his head.

Most of his friends were attending, well all of the seniors were going. Derek walked over to the coach and stood beside him, asking what they would be doing for class that day. Apparently they were heading down to the field.

Running track wasn't that hard, all you had to do was it then finish up, not a big deal. The gym clothes, on the other hand, were quite irritating and not comfortable. Everyone followed the four gym teachers outside and everyone walked onto the track, most of the jocks were done first. Derek finished quickly as well, the quicker you did it the quicker it was over. After that they played football, yada yada yada. Nothing exciting, nothing at all. All the rest of his classes flew by too, it was boring as hell. First days. . ugh, for some reason school always gave him a headache; too much learning s**t going on. Derek listened to the lunch bell go off after his History class then walked down the hall to the cafeteria. It was full of people, but thankfully, his friends scored a table. All the boy got for lunch was a slice of pizza, salad, mushed up mystery meat, and buns.

Ahh, and then his friend Elle came into view. She popped her head up from over her book and waved from him to sit by her. "Hey good lookin', how's your day so far?" He asked curiously, tilting his head to the side and staring down at his tray with distaste. He pulled the book from her heads and read the title, yuck Biology. He set it down and looked backat her. "School's school." She mumbled, itching the back of her head and glancing towards the entrance of the cafeteria he looked too, seeing Vanessa with her boyfriend. "Is he gay?" She asked curiously chewing on piece of his bun, putting butter on it. Derek shrugged, "Looks like it, but I don't think so. He's a virgin. Oh and the girl, Vanessa, I'm pretty sure is his girlfriend. If not, then he hangs all over her. . that's what makes him look. . like that," He pointed to the f**. He was holding on to Vanessa's arm, did she actually feel comfortable with that?

Elle nodded with a raised eyebrow and stopped talking, she continued killing his bun then moved on to his salad. "They wouldn't be a cute couple, anyway." She mumbled stuffing a piece of salad in her mouth then wrinkling up her nose. Derek shrugged and poked the mystery, trying not to gag. He looked his pizza and took a bite, noticing it had way too much sauce on it. Cafeteria food is deadly.

                                                {{Ehh. .}}
