Weapons:
Lanithro - Duke of Mischief: Many know him as the demon of the air, but Lanithro is a demon that personifies mischief. His physical anchor to the world is the cloak that his host wears. Alone he cannot do much; however, when worn by someone with the affinity for the mystic arts, they become a force one does not want to reckon with. The cloak itself is a weapon. It allows the wearer to make constructs, as long as they are attached to the cloak, such as extra limbs, wings, etc. It has limited form of shape-shifting, such as transforming into other forms of clothing limited to three colors. It is quite durable that magic or noted entities with special gifts are capable of tearing through the fabric.

Paper Ofuda: Paper talismans that are capable of purify or warding off evil. It is the western equivalent of a rosary or crufix; however, paper wards are easier to carry. With ink and paper, Ayn is capable of creating powerful wards that can be specific or simple, keeping malicious paranormal entities, or the common people, out. However, they are temporary since they can be physically removed or burned by those within the ward.

Shikigami: Fully trained Onmyouji are capable of sealing powerful ghosts or demons within paper, turning them into loyal servants as long as the user has enough power and will to do so. Ayn is novice Onmyouji so her shikigami are nothing but humble ghosts that decided to follow her. They cannot do anything spectacular, but they are quite useful since they can be used to spy on others (making them ideal for recon missions), send messages, tracking, etc. She is not at the level to have her shikigami take possession of animals, yet.

Abilities:
Knowledge of Demonology: Ayn learned a few things about the paranormal, but her specialty relies on demons. Her friend has more knowledge of demons pertaining to Europe, but Ayn's expertise rely more on foreign demons.

Knowledge of the Mystic Arts: She may not have the capacity to explain to others how certain spells, or forms of spell casting, function; however, she is more than capable of understanding sorcery when she sees it. On her own, she has difficulty deciphering unknown spells on her own. Thankfully, she has enough knowledge to understand the basics of sorcery and some advanced forms of spell casting.

Multilingual: Due to travelling and thrown into foreign lands, Ayn has learned to communicate in different languages. She knows the basics of western languages, but most of her knowledge is on the eastern side of the world.

Mage (Intermediate): Ayn may not be a powerful mage, but she has the potential to be one. She can use basic spells (i.e. limited telekinesis, create light, clean objects, repairs, etc), and knows enough healing arts to do basic first aid treatment. She has enough practice to control her shikigami and make ofuda, but she has a long way to go if she ever wishes to do any divination, let alone controlling a powerful demon. Range of her spells are limited to physical touch, not to mention that each spell has its own term and conditions.

Rune Link: The only rune spell she knows for certain is the one engraved on her left palm. The spell allows her to make long distance calls with the person who holds the same engraved rune on the opposite palm. It has a charges and utilizes clairvoyance magic to function. Ayn lacks the ability to use clairvoyance magic to a certain extent, she can only receive "calls" from her friend. With the help of someone with divination magic, she can "call" from her end and ask questions. However, the amount of "calls" she can receive or do are four times per day, which last for ten minutes at most and charges don't carry over if the call is disrupted.

Proficient in Hand-to-Hand Combat: Trained in many form of martial arts, Ayn's preferred way of combat is utilizing kicks, throws, joint locks, and punches. She is capable of incorporating these techniques with her cloak. She is a ways off from being a master, but she can definitely hold her own in a fist fight.

Enhanced Perception: She may not have the keen senses like other paranormal beings, but Lanithro gives her an extra set of eyes, which is really useful when fighting multiple targets. However, the range of these extra set of eyes is the same as the host's range of sight. So far it hasn't been a problem since Ayn has 20/20 vision

Enhanced Speed: For a human, Ayn is quite agile. When compared to other paranormal beings she's not that special, but her speed is enhanced to some degree due to the cloak. She is a nimble target, hence why most people have difficulty landing a hit on her. Her reflexes may not be fast enough to completely step out of line of attacks or dodge fast moving projectiles, but she is quick enough to cushion the damage.

Immunity to telepathy and dream inducing: By wearing the cloak, Lanithro is capable of keeping others from prying into Ayn's mind. Telepathy is blocked, dream walking is not possible, and mind control is denied. She can still be dragged into illusions, but with the assistance of Lanithro she can quickly break free from them.

Demonic Stamina and Durability: Ayn's only redeeming point is her stamina that greatly surpasses an average human. She is capable of staying awake for day's on end to study, or to fight. It is thanks to her training and affinity for the mystic arts that her vitality greatly exceeds the average human being, which is basis in using most her abilities. However, she is a bit of a glutton so she constantly eats something to keep up her energy. Thanks to the cloak, she is quite durable that she can take a beating and give a beating. Due to this, many wonder if Ayn is really human or not. Without the cloak, she is human with raw magical potential.

Courageous and Strong Will: Unlike her friend, Ayn is willing to confront most of the things that frighten her. She can be quite stubborn about it, especially if it involves saving lives or keeping promises. Thanks to Lanithro, she has been desensitized to most rude comments, and mental torture in general. Due to being Lanithro's medium, she most have a strong will in order to stay in control or else the duke would take possession of her body, doing whatever he pleases.

Likes: any sweets with peaces or apples; the supernatural; the mystic arts; eastern culture; jasmine or green tea; studying magical tomes and scriptures; her shikigami; Lanithro, even though they don't get along sometimes; fighting since it helps out with honing her skills as a combatant and Onmyouji

Bio:
Born in the same group of cultists as Meira, Ayn clung onto the golden-eyed mage as soon as she was able to crawl. The older girl would often read texts about demonology to the vermilion haired child. However, their days together were short lived as Ayn's family retired from the group and decided to travel west in hopes creating their own cult. They settled on the West coast on American soil, using their affinity for the mystic arts to increase their likelihood of living.

With their money and obsession with the paranormal, they obtained an artifact that was said to be cursed and gave it to the vermilion haired child as a gift. The once black rag in her mother's hand became a small black cloak that hugged her form once it wrapped her body. From the age of five and on, Ayn's world became a mystery. Even the faintest memory of the screams were removed from her mind thanks to the demon that possessed the cloak.

Eventually, the child regained control at the age of ten thanks to the help of a wanderer that carried a foreign blade and was accompanied by a falcon. The wanderer was an Onmyouji, a eastern equivalent of a spirit medium, who decided to take the girl under his wing due to personal reasons. He needed a successor and he had no qualms in having a foreigner learn his techniques. However, in order to train her and bring her back to his roots, he needed to disguise her as a boy. The foreigner sailed back to Japan with Ayn, using the excuse that he took the responsibility of raising the child due to the consequences of choices on his overseas mission.

For the next nine years of her life, Ayn grew as a son and learned the culture and language of her foster father's country. She did her best to write letters to her friend, especially when she was spent some time in the military. Due to being the disciple of an Onmyouji, she was given some exemptions, but that didn't stop her from fighting in the front lines. Her training came to an end when her master, and foster father, retired and passed down his title as an Onmyouji to her. Her foster father knew that she needed more practice and time before she can go public with her title, thus he gave her the task to continue her training. She has the option of returning whenever she wishes, but she must be ready to show the fruits of her hard work.

After a long journey, the demon host arrived back to her roots to see that her friend has barely aged. Ayn humbly asked her friend to help her with her training. The old days resumed, but they were short lived for the Rune Mage had to answer a summons from a man named Frankenstein. In the time that she was gone, the demon host studied on her own while keeping burglars or other pesky cultists from breaking into her friend's home. With her return, Ayn continued her studies, becoming worried about the nightmares that plagued her. Tired of seeing the cursed mage suffer, she took it upon herself to offer her services and investigate Macabreton for her. With a letter in hand, runes spells engraved on her, and nothing but the clothes on her back, the novice Onmyouji was off.

Due to the habit of binding her chest with cloth bandages, she is often mistaken as a frail, young male.After all, the scarlet red haired female stands at five feet and four inches, which is often considered short for males. The mistaken gender identity is no problem for her since it makes easier to run around in her attire without being asked many questions.

In simple terms, Ayn is a meek tomboy, who is a bit naive, and oblivious to physical and platonic relations. She greatly enjoys the paranormal and thanks to Lanithro, she is desensitized from most insults. She is quite eccentric, especially for the fact that she talks to herself. In truth, she's speaking aloud to the demon within her cloak since she lacks the capabilities of telepathically speaking to him.

Under the Hood

Appearance: Shura is never seen with her harvest brown hair loose. Most of the time it is up and she finds loose hair annoying since it would get in the way in a battle. Her eyes are a piercing sepia color that resembles a bright burning flame. The most important detail is that she is never seen without her blade at her side or something wrapped around her neck, let alone the white falcon doll the hovers around her thanks to her magic.

Personality: This freelancer mage is the most serious person you’ll ever meet, to the point that she cannot tell if people are joking or not. When she realizes that you told a joke, she will throw a punch at you and move on. She gets easily annoyed when people comment about her femininity or give her cutesy nicknames that she chases the culprit while swinging her sword at them. Thanks to this behavior, she is often told she is abrasive like a man. In battle, she is calm, even during a high stress situation, honorable, and is aware of the caliber of her power; however, that does not stop her from being ruthless to her opponent. She fought in the army and often she had to take down enemies that threatened the safety of the king, let alone her comrades. Shura would do anything to keep her friends safe, even if she claims that they are not friends. Often she told her opponents, “Don’t complain that you will die. You stepped into this battle with the resolve to win, so I’ll return it with my own determination, even if I have to show it through force.” Thanks to constant battling, training, and being in command, she has developed a habit of observing people. Many soldiers from her platoon often commented that her perception is like a falcon's, using the information she gathers to deduce people’s weakness and strengths through the littlest of gestures, which always ended with her subordinates saying that she wasn’t a general for nothing. Despite being known as a cold, rough, and temperamental swordsman, Shura is compassionate and has a desire to protect, but it’s just rare to see it. Surprisingly, she’s very curious when it comes to things she knows nothing about, especially if they are popular.

Background: Shura was born to a man who was known as a renowned swordsmith throughout Crocus and her mother was the general of the royal army, a powerful white night to be exact. There is no sappy love story between the two. Her father was commissioned by the king to make a blade worthy for the newly appointed general. When they first met, they wanted to kill each other, through time they grew on each other.

Shura was born, but at the cost of her mother’s life, thus her father had to raise her. Her father grew up with brothers, so he only knew how to raise boys, which explains her personality. They traveled around Fiore, visiting her father’s old clients and occasionally trained in sword techniques along with receiving secrets to his blacksmithing. Her father passed away when she was eleven, old age and illness taking him. The only words he left to her were “Carry on our legacy.” At first Shura did not understand her father’s words, but she knew that she would have to keep the promise.

She travelled around Fiore, in hopes of finding a master to continue her training. She had no luck until she stumbled upon a Tengu. Her training was hard, even if she knew the basics on how to wield a sword and her father’s techniques. At the age of twenty, she left her master, without leaving a word to him, and ventured back to Crocus in order to join the royal army. She wanted to know more about her mother and obtain her father’s legacy, finally realizing the meaning behind his words.

Five whole years she spent in the royal army. She was appointed general in those years, obtained her father’s blade, and mastered her magic. All of it went down the drain in a mission within those five years. She lost her voice after being tortured before she returned to the army. Proof of surviving the ordeal is the scar on her neck, which she hides. That did not stop her from being a general. Thanks to learning telepathy magic, she was able to communicate with her comrades once more.

However, the army knew that her time was up. Shura only agreed to resigning from her position if she was allowed to keep her father’s blade. It was accepted and most of her subordinates bid farewell, one even giving her a white falcon doll. After resigning and leaving the capital, Shura spent an entire year travelling around Fiore. She did odd jobs and took down dark guilds in order to earn money, mainly offering her services as a bodyguard, which is how she obtained the nickname Yojimbo.

Magic: The Samurai (Requip) – Expert: Shura is capable of storing different blades and weapons in a pocket dimension. She has mastered her magic that she can easily switch blades in mid-swing. She can even wield two weapons at a time as well. Her pocket dimension is limited to carrying seven weapons at a time; however, seven is all she needs.
      Amenonuhoko: When Shura wields the nagita, she is capable of using basic earth magic. With the tip of the weapon, she can have the earth emerge or descend. She can even make the earth shake with her stomps or by hitting the weapon against the ground. This is mainly used to deal with multiple enemies.

      Ryuugiri: A nagamaki that is so sharp it is capable of slicing through a dragon’s scale. Shura mainly uses this weapon against larger opponents or when she wants to slice something that is highly durable.

      Watatsumi: An odachi that creates a torrent of water with each slash. The amount of water and force behind the wave depends on the intention and strength of the swing. When she wields this blade, she is capable of breathing underwater.

      Omoikane: A hanbo that confuses opponents when struck. The weapon creates illusions depending on the amount of force behind the strike. The more powerful the strike, the more powerful the illusion. Hence why opponents get confused when struck by it. This is Shura’s most used weapon since she often uses it as a walking cane.

      Hachiman: A longbow that is capable of dispelling magic as long as it is within its trajectory. Instead of shooting physical arrows, the bow launches arrows of pure eternano. It causes miniscule damage, but the bow is capable of shooting multiple arrows. Despite these arrows made of magic, they still function as typical arrows.

      Toyotama: A pair of tanbo that increase Shura’s offensive power and speed whenever she receives damage. She often uses these weapons when she is fighting against opponents who are faster and stronger than her.

      VX (Vreni Xiuhcoatl) Legacy: A katana that allows Shura to create explosion by creating friction with the serrated blade and scabbard. The more friction she creates, the more damage. Due to the blade’s properties she is immune to the damage created from the explosion and shrapnel. Also, she is immune to flames when she wields the blade. This is her most prized blade and her strongest weapon.


Telepathy Magic – Basic: Due to losing her voice in the span of five years by working in the army, Shura needed to learn a new way to communicate: telepathy magic. Shura is capable of communicating with others with her mind as long as she pictures their face while sending them her thoughts; however, they must stand within a 15 ft radius around her. She can even create mental links as well, but the same rule applies that they must stand within 15 ft around her. Shura is still learning and the extent of her ability is only to hear the thoughts that people send to her. Despite knowing Telepathy magic, Shura has her falcon doll speak for her.

Human Possession (Seith Magic) – Basic: Shura can trap wandering souls into objects and use them for whatever she wants. She has trapped a soul into her falcon doll, having it move and sing. The doll is capable of speaking for her along with dragging people out of the way. She has dubbed her companion Taka.[ /size]

Abilities/Skills: Master Swordsman: For a human, Shura’s skill in the blade is of the highest caliber that many wonder if she has Tengu blood in her veins. She is capable of using any blade she can get her hands on on, yet katanas are her best weapon. She can even wield the dullest blade and use it to create devastating effects, which explains how she can still use a wooden staff to cut as well as a blade. She is capable of using sword techniques with a normal grip and a reverse grip, along with being swift and accurate. Those that know their historical figures would often call her the next Erza Scarlet or Kagura Mikazuchi. Unlike Erza, she is unable to use her feet to wield a sword, finding that skill a complete disgrace to swordsmanship and to the smith who created the blade.
Master of Staves: Despite the sword being her main weapon, Shura is capable of using a staff as well as a blade. She is capable of using staves to cut her targets as well as any blade. Often she uses her skill when utilizing the small amount of staves she has in her arsenal.
Master Archer: Shura is capable of using a bow and arrow well enough to shoot an apple off of someone’s head. However, that is the most of her caliber. She is capable of shooting in midair as well, but it is rare for her to use this ability since there is only one bow in her arsenal.
Basic Hand-to-Hand Combat: A weapon is not an object that is swung around, it an extension of one’s body. Shura is capable of hand-to-hand combat in order to defend herself at close quarters. She has average strength so she doesn’t rely on kicks and punches to fight like most people use. She relies on grapples, joint locks, and throws at close quarters, especially when people are trying to steal her blade from her or trying to strike at her with a weapon at close quarters. If she were to fight a master, Shura would be taken down because she only knows techniques to stop others from disarming her and most of them could be reversed. To put it simply, she only knows enough to stop others from trying to steal her precious blade from her. There is room for improvement, but Shura is too stubborn to learn.
Physical Condition: Shura has average strength for a human. She is capable of leaving dents in walls when she punches with all her might, but not enough to take it down. She does not find her strength as a problem since her other traits make up for it. The ex-general has high endurance, proof of that was the 72-hour of physical and mental torture within her five years of being part of the army and coming out alive, but with the cost of losing her voice. Her durability and stamina are above an average human’s due to her training as a swordsman and her time in the royal army. She is capable of being thrown against a brick wall and emerge with a couple of bruises and scratches, but she will be sore the next day. What she is proud of the most, other than her reflexes, is her agility and dexterity. Even if most of her techniques involve a grounded stance, she is capable of fighting in mid-air and attack her opponent from strange angles. In general, Shura is capable of taking hits, has little strength, and is quite fast.
Ambidextrous: Shura has learned to use her sword with either hand, but prefers to use her right hand. She was born with the natural ability to use either hand; however, it was vital for her to master if she wanted to survive in battle. Usually, she would wield her blade with her left hand since the swings are weaker; however, when faced with a difficult opponent, or out of respect, she’ll use her right hand.
Immense Reflexes : With speed and experience, Shura’s reflexes are often compared to a monster’s, which is frightening for a human. It is difficult to catch her off guard; a gift in battle, but pain in everyday life. Her time in the army has made her develop a habit of always being ready to take down whatever is thrown at her, thanks to most of her men often trying to catch her off guard. However, she finds this skill essential due to being constantly in battle and fighting in a war. She must always be on guard, even if she is trying to enjoy the mundane things in life.
Knowledge of Combat/War Tactics: A warrior who has fought for most of her life, Shura has learned many tactics and strategies to survive a battle. No matter than terrain, the situation, or the team, she is capable of coming up with at least one plan in order to survive a fight; however, it does not mean that everyone will agree with the strategy.
Knowledge of Magic/Spell Casting: Constant traveling and battles have exposed her to many forms of magic and the different ways to cast spells. It does not mean she knows every form of magic and how spells work. She only knows the general effects and stances of the magic. Thanks to her perceptive and observant habits, she can predict the type of magic a mage uses from their stances as they are about to cast a spell. For example: if she sees someone bring their fingertips to their temple, she can deduce that they use the ancient spell commonly known as Memory-Make, but she cannot tell what kind of spell they will cast.
Knowledge of Swords/Swordsmithing: As a child, her father passed down his knowledge of swordsmithing to her. Despite the fact that she cannot make a sword herself, due to her strength and lack of training, Shura knows the theories and designs behind them, along with what kind of materials and techniques can be used to create a sword. She knows enough to examine a blade to determine what style it is best used for, how good its craftsmanship is, and its strength.
Calm Composure & Oblivious: No matter the situation, Shura will do her best to stay calm, especially in battle. From her past experiences, Shura has experience to deal with most things. It’s very rare for her to be caught off guard, which mostly happens when it comes to the everyday things. When it pertains to magic and fights, Shura can handle it, yet life’s simplest things are capable of throwing her off. She spent most of her life fighting, so the day to day things are new to her. To be exact, she is a hermit and when someone talks to her about the latest fads, jokes, etc, she will be confused and will have no idea of what to do.
Magic Power: If Shura was part of any guild, many would classify her as an S-class mage based on her skill and power. If the magic council were to judge her power, she would be borderline in becoming a Ten Wizard Saint. What prevents her from obtaining that title is having a heart and common sense, which she would have gained if she grew up in a guild. Thanks to her large pool of magical power, she shows no signs of fatigue when she switches between weapons or communicating with others. Some speculate that she has access to her Second Origin, which is true but she would not disclose that to anyone.

Equipment: VX (Vreni Xiuhcoatl) Legacy: Her father’s last masterpiece and her family’s legacy. To the untrained eye, it appears to be a simple katana with a dull color scheme; however, a fellow master swordman, blacksmith, etc. could easily tell that it is a work of art. If a swordsmith were to examine the blade, they would learn that the metal of the blade is embedded with lacrima that grants the ability to slice through fire and protect the wielder from flames, explosions, and shrapnel create from explosions. It is one of a kind and many swordsmith have difficulty creating blades like this, which is why it was made durable as well. However, with enough force and power, say a dragon/god slayers most powerful attack (except a fire dragon slayer), it will break. Shura takes really good care of her sword since it is the only memento left of her parents and mostly uses other blades to fight before resorting to her most treasured possession. So far, Shura knows the design and techniques to recreate this sword, but she has yet to find a swordsmith who has the skill to do it.
Amenonuhoko: A nagita that has a dark brown wooden handle while the blade of the weapon is a metallic silver gray. It is durable as the earth itself, yet it can crumble to pieces if it receives a powerful blow.
Ryuugiri: A nagamaki that has a metallic dark gray blade and a wavy hamon. The handle wrapping is maroon and has a jade green dragon embroidered along the tsuka. It is durability is equivalent to its sharpness. It is Shura’s toughest blade that only a blade of equal durability can break it.
Watatsumi: An odachi that is sheathed away in a navy blue saiya. The blade is metallic dark gray while the tsuka has dark teal wrapping. At the end of the tsuka is a white tassel. The odachi is durable as any other blade. It can be repaired as long as the tsuka is still in one piece.
Omoikane: A hanbo made of bamboo. It functions as a normal hanbo and can burn to ash; however, only elemental attacks created from magic can cause harm to it.
Hachiman: A longbow made from stained bamboo while the string is made of hemp. It is the frailest of weapons and often needs to be cared for. However, it is the only weapon in Shura’s arsenal to repair itself as long as it is not being used. The more damage it receives, the longer it will take for it to repair itself.
Toyotama: A pair of tanbo made from dark hardwood and are the third most durable weapon in Shura’s arsenal. Just like Omoikane, they can only be damaged from elemental attacks created from magic.
White Falcon Doll: A gift she received from her subordinates when she departed Crocus. The doll looks practically real that many mistake it for an actual falcon, especially when it moves. Usually Taka possesses it since he needs to communicate for Shura. It is a doll, so it is easy to ruin it; however, even in the heat of battle, the doll comes out with no scratches. Not just from the fact that Shura is protective of it, but from the soul staying out of harm’s way.

Under the Hood

Appearance: Eirlys is a short female with waist length white hair pulled in an offside ponytail. Her eyes are a steel blue gray hue and she's usually wearing clothing in shades of black, white, and gray.

Personality: Eirlys is often seen as a laid-back and fun loving girl, who is a bit of a pervert. Often she goes with the flow and rarely declines anything that is interesting or fun. Don't ask Eirlys to say anything nicely, she doesn't believe in sugar coating and she will blunt. Let's not forget her horrible habit of lying. Despite her childish behavior to grope everyone's chest, she can be cold and merciless as ice, or she could try to punch you to the ground with her fists. Other than her temper and reckless behavior, she’s supportive, caring, and kind to her guild members. When people ask her “What do you strive for? Power? Eternal life? Fame? Money?” Eirlys will always answer with “Friends.” Whatever you do, don't poke fun at her being short or flat-chested. Just stay away from jokes that make fun of her height.

Background: Not many people are aware, but Eirlys has been around for a good century. She was pre-teen who died in a harsh snowstorm in Mt. Hakobe. She wandered the mountains for a few years before stumbling upon the Fairy Tail guild. At first, not many got to see her since she was a ghost, except for a few. She wanted to learn magic and understand what it was like to have friends.

Sadly, time waits for no one. Eirlys watched the people she knew pass away and sticking around Fairy Tail would only be worse for her heart. She traveled around Fiore, seeing that many people were wronged by the Magic Council due to its rules and it took her around 50 years to realize she wanted to create a place for those were wrongly labeled by them. With that goal set in stone, she learned how to use magic. She wanted to create things with her magic thus she delved in molding magic. Ice was natural to her so it didn't take long to get the basics. After a couple of years of mastering her magic and learning how to become visible to others, she decided it was time to search for a home.

She explored the mountain side near the capital, finding a cave. With the secrets she discovered, she has made the cave her home base. Seeing that she could make a goldmine out of contents of the cave, she delved into researching about magical items. After a few years of fixing the cave up, researching about magical items, and writing down runes to conceal the entrance, she has finally created Shyama Neva. She has met a few people along the way, creating a home for them, and hiding the fact that she is a demon from them. Hopefully, nobody will discover the truth any time soon...

Magic: Ice-Make – Expert: Eirlys is capable of molding ice into anything she wants, let it be for offense, defense, or for a random purpose. She is capable of changing her surroundings as well such as patching wounds with ice or freezing the ground. She is capable of using both static and dynamic forms of ice-make, but she prefers to use static more than dynamic since it provides more versatility.

Crash – Intermediate: An advanced form of magic Eiryls is slowly mastering. She is capable of smashing anything she comes in contact with, except people. Most of the time she uses this magic unintentionally, especially when she's angry. However, she is capable of using this magic defensively such as sending people flying a good five meters or making the earth move. She is still far from using her magic at the same level as Gildarts, but through time and practice she'll reach that level.

Dark Ecriture – Basic: The ability to write runes to create a “rule.” Eirlys is capable of writing the runes to take care of his basic needs and to place conditions needed for the guild. She is not swift enough to write them in combat, unless someone else is with her. Sadly, she cannot use the magic to augment herself in any way or others. She mainly uses this to protect the guild and her guild members, but when it comes to a guild war, it can be very useful with the correct strategies. Too bad she doesn't have the brains to use it.


Abilities/Skills: Expert Sensor: Due to having years of training in magic, Eirlys is capable of sensing the magic power of others; however, that does not mean she is capable of knowing what their magical abilities are. She can determine how much magic one has and how strong they are compared to her or to her fellow guild members.
Master of Hand-to-Hand Combat: Eirlys learned basic forms when she watched those in Fairy Tail duke it out when there was infighting. She improved over the years in case there would be times she can't use her magic to deal damage. She is capable enough to disarm an opponent, immobilize them, take down multiple opponents, and prevent others from disarming her. Combining her skills in close quarters combat with Crash makes her a difficult opponent to face.
Expert Weapon Specialist: Due to her magic allowing room for versatility, Eirlys has mastered every weapon she can get her hands on, let it be bows and arrows to chained sickles. However, she is not skilled enough to make a spoon a weapon.
Physical Conditioning: Eirlys may not look like it, but she is at the top of her game. She may not be able to hoist men over her shoulder, but she punch through a wall. She is quite agile and capable of scaling walls, jumping from roof to roof, and dodging attacks by rolling away due to her experience in combat. Her reflexes are adequate enough that she can dodge sudden attacks that she would only receive grazes or minor damage. However, the most frightening thing about her is his stamina and endurance. No matter how much is thrown at her, she is capable of standing up after taking a heavy blow and continue fighting. Even if she is ill or crippled, she will continue fighting until she has given his last breath.
Knowledge of Magic/Magic Items: Eirlys may not know the forms of magic when they are cast in battle, but she knows the theories behind them. When it comes to magic, she is a walking encyclopedia, which explains how she capable of teaching others magic or helping them improve them. She can even create magical objects as well, given the time and materials to do so. She is aware that not all can cast magic, which is why she creates items for her guild members so they have a way of defending themselves; however, they have limited uses. Depending on how much time and effort she puts in making the magical item determines how many charges on it.
Immense Magical Power: Eirlys has immense magical power due to being a guild master and improving her magic over the years. She openly states that she has awakened her Second Origin, which is another reason why people call her a monster.
Spectral Form and Phasing: Due to being a Yuki-onna, Eirlys is capable of turning into a ghost and phase through physical objects. She is even capable of becoming invisible, except to those who practice Seith Magic. However, she is unable to tap into her magical abilities, let alone physically touch people. Sadly, she is unable to make people go invisible, let alone phase through objects.
High Tolerance for Alcohol: Despite being an avid drinker, Eirlys is really good at holding her liquor to the point that she is Bacchus status. When she does get drunk, it’s been noted that she does outrageous things and many of the guild members have to hold her back from doing idiotic things that would blow their cover. Also, it’s been rumored that he acts more childish when drunk.

Background: I don’t recall a lot of things about myself. All I know is that I had been wondering this world for some time. Anything prior to fifteen years of my life I won’t remember. Things are hazy and I only know my name, Ayn, and my partner: Lanithro. I spent a few years gathering clues on my own, but to no avail. When I was scouted by the SP, I volunteered to follow them. I felt that I would find my answers within the city, even though I was warned I won’t like them. When I registered as a student within this city I decided to give myself a surname, thanks to Lanithro’s whining. I had been here for two years. I have not found any answers, or clues, but I have a feeling they will appear soon. Oh, if you wondering who Lanithro is, it’s the entity that lives within my cloak. Sadly, I’m the only person who can hear him, unless you go to Horror Sorrow with me. However, he’s not the most pleasant person to be around…
Abilities/Skills: Lanithro – Duke of Mischief (Magical Cloak): The cloak I wear is a physical anchor to the entity that personifies mischief itself, Lanithro. With it I can create constructs such as animals, wings, extra hands, etc as long as they are attached to the cloak. It’s quite durable that only attacks laced with magic can tear through it. As long as I have a tiny scrap of it left, it can regenerate back to it's original form. It’s capable of doing basic shape-shifting such as turning into a scarf, jacket, etc; however, it sticks with three colors, mainly black as the core. The cloak is capable of expanding my range to use magic spells as well. The Duke is capable of seeing as well as me, so he’s the extra set of eyes that can watch of my blind spot. Sadly, he’s not the courteous type so he won’t tell me if there is anything, or anyone, behind me. The Duke protects me from mind attacks such as certain illusions, telepathy, etc, but I must be wearing the cloak. The cloak is powered through magic, hence why I practice the mystic arts.
Hand-to-Hand Combatant: I’m no master, but I can hold my own in a find. I mainly use punches, kicks, throws, and joint locks in fights. Currently, I’m trying to learn how to incorporate the cloak into the mix. When compared to others with combat experience, I'm still bit of a greenhorn.
Mystic Arts: Prior to my stay in Himitsu city, I barely had any proficiency in magic. I only knew how to sense traces of it. Thanks to the two years I spent here in the city, I am capable of using some healing magic. Some wounds take a longer time to heal and the range is limited to touch. I'm also quite proficient in using wound transferal magic.
Enhanced Agility/Dexterity: I’m quite nimble that with, or without, the cloak it's a bit difficult to land a hit on me; however, that differs between different people. I am able to react to most attacks thrown at me with enough speed to cushion damage, or to be grazed by it. Sadly, my reflexes are not at the point to dodge most attacks, let alone counter them. Thanks to the agility and dexterity I possess, I can recover from most attacks such as throws.
Enhanced Durability/Stamina: The cloak is increases my durability that it takes a lot more than a punch to take me down. Even with its protection I will still have some wounds visible from the blows thrown at me. However, my true talent is my stamina. I’m often asked if I am human or not due to my demonic stamina. I can usually stay awake for a few days, but that’s if I haven’t spent most of my energy in using magic or in fights. The reason I have so much stamina is due to my affinity with the mystic arts, or so I've been told.
Desensitized/Very Tolerant: Thanks to Lanithro’s constant verbal abuse, I’m used to most insults; people being rude to me, to be precise. It is very difficult to make me angry, but I do get annoyed from time to time, mainly when the Duke is involved.
Culinary Intuition: I’m no master chef, but I’m quite good in the kitchen. To be honest, it’s actually the Duke who has great skill in the kitchen due to the vast amount of recipes he knows. He has lived a few centuries and has learned some tricks of trade when it comes to food. I'm only the vessel that can prepare the meals that he knows so well.
Weakness: Magical attacks can be a problem since they can still harm the cloak. Getting too emotional will allow the Duke to take over, which is something I greatly dislike. Without the cloak, I’m just a human with the affinity to use magic and pull three all-nighters in a row. I have difficulty saying no to people who genuinely ask me for my help. Anti-magic areas – I can’t use my cloak, or cast my spells if I’m in a zone where magic is not allowed.

    Kaito is a tall, tanned muscular man with spiked white hair and hetero-chromatic eyes. His right eye is steel blue gray while his right is the infamous Al Bhed emerald green with the trademark swirled pupils; however, due to a incident at sea he has received a scar of his eye. It's quite gruesome that he wears an eye patch in order to not scare the customers away. He wears garbs in a similar fashion as the warrior monks, but with some modifications and a few pieces of steel covering some parts of his body. If you're wondering how tall he is, he's a whopping 6' 6", but people are often distracted by the large anchor-like spear he carries with a chain extending from the end and wrapped around his forearm. He has a multitude of scars over his body, some more obvious than others. Often he is seen with a smile on his face, let it be battle crazed or childish.

    Many would mistaken Kaito as an intimidating, battle lusting man. However, he's far from that. This humble fisherman is nothing but a gentle giant, especially around animals (mainly chocobos). He is a good hearted man that tries to make others smile, even if he appears to the fool. Some would call him naive, maybe dense, perhaps even oblivious (especially when it comes to romance); however, Kaito is quite loyal, not to mention reckless. He can be quite childish as well, sometimes would even call him a moron, idiot, imbecile; the list is long. Often many would ask why would he go out of his way to assist someone and he would often answers, "No reason, I just felt like it." Also, he's a bit chivalrous and extremely shy around woman, especially if they dress a certain way.

    Born to an Al Bhed father and human mother, Kaito spending his days on the ferries from Besaid to Kilika then to Luca as a fisherman. His grandfather was one and the duty passed onto him since his parents were dead long before he was of age to work. He couldn't remember their faces well, but he knew that was the day of his first lesson as a fisherman, along the day he lost his right eye. Surprisingly, Sin did not take them. It was actually a storm and the sea was ruthless to his parents and him. Ever since that day, Kaito has been under his grandfather's wing, learning his techniques as a fisherman, sailor, and as a man. Whenever he had free time, he would often take care of the chocobos. He was never one to stay put. Throughout the years, his experiences as a fisherman honed his skills in combat, taking down fiends that attacked the boat. He was even scouted as a Blitzball player for the Luca Goers due to his superb skill in swimming; however, Kaito didn't feel any joy in the sport. He didn't like the idea of using his strength to knock out people to steal the ball and get goals, or the fact of hurting female players. He made the decision to continue being a fisherman and protecting the passengers when they didn't have the strength to do so. The years have been peaceful, a bit too peaceful compared to others. Kaito has met many kind of men and women, praying that Yevon be with them. In all honesty, he wasn't a huge follower of the teachings, but he knows when to bow and how. He didn't liked being chastised by another female acolyte any time soon.

    In short, he lived a simple life of the sea, hearing many tales from passengers and being the ferry's self-declared guardian. He's not paid to do it, but he does it out of his volition and to ensure that his grandfather wouldn't turn over on his bed in the Farplane.

    Kaito literally likes to plow through obstacles since his strength knows no bounds. Some often wonder if he's actually a Behemoth in disguise. His skin is quite durable as well, hence why he wears little armor for a Dragoon/Viking. He often Provokes his enemy since he likes to test their strength before swinging his signature weapon at them. He is capable of using the Jump ability, along with throwing his harpoon-line spear from mid-air. All in all, Kaito likes to be in the front lines to take the brunt of the damage before dishing out a tempest.

                                  ────► tab Lanithro - Duke of Mischief (Cloak): The cloak Ayn wears is a physical anchor to the entity that personifies mischief iftself, Lanithro. With the cloak, Ayn can create constructs such as animals, wings, extra hands, etc as long as they are attached to the cloak. It is also quite durable that attacks laced with magic, or super powered elemental attacks, can tear through it. It can be regenerated as well as long as Ayn has a scrap of it left, time, and energy. The cloak is capable of basic shape-shifting into other garbs, but it is stuck to three color schemes. The cloak is capable of expanding her range in using magic spells as well. Since the Duke resides in the cloak, it is capable of seeing things as well as its host, providing an extra set of eyes; however, the Duke isn't the courteous type. As long as the cloak is worn, any form of mind communication is blocked, whether harmful or useful. Illusions and other form of mind attacks still work, but they're quickly broken thanks to the Duke's assistance. The cloak is power by magic, hence why the host needs to be a practitioner of the mystic arts.
                                  Mystic Arts: Ayn has some proficiency in magic, utilizing simple spells that move objects and such. Her expertise relies on healing magic, but depending on how severe the wound determines the amount of time it will take to heal. Her best form of healing is wound transferal magic, but it needs physical contact. Most of the range of her spells are touch, hence why she is thankful that her cloak can act as a medium. Spells such as divination and clairvoyance are very difficult to conduct.

                                  ────► tab Ayn may not have the fearsome strength to send people flying across the city, but she is more than capable of punching people into a building thanks to reinforcing her attacks with her cloak. She is proficient in hand-to-hand combat: mainly utilizing kicks, grapples, throws, joint locks, and punches. She is capable of incorporating the cloak within some of her techniques as well. Strength is not her main point. She is quite nimble on her feet that most opponents would have a difficult time landing an attack on her. Along with the fact that her reflexes are honed to the point that she can cushion damage thrown at her. Her main strength is her demonic stamina for a human. Ayn can stay awake for several days, doing work, and probably be the last one standing in a fight. The reason she has so much vitality is due to have the affinity for the mystic arts.
                                  ────► tab Without the cloak, Ayn is just an average human with the affinity for the mystic arts. Also, if she gets too emotional, the true owner of the cloak will take possession and wreak havoc. Any clues pertaining to her past, she will chase after them, even to the point of abandoning her mission. Ayn is also a greenhorn when it comes to the opposite sex, well relationships in general, so she gets easily flustered when certain topics arises.

                                  ────► tab A lost little lamb that has wondered the streets of this world for who knows how long. Ayn is a mage who utilizes the assistance of the Duke of Mischief, hoping to find any remnant of her past life. She suffers from amnesia, having no recollection of who her parents are, or where she originated. The only clue is that her current partner, Lanithro, has the key to assist her in finding clues of her past. However, the duke has selfish motives that he steers clear from his host.

                                  ────► tab This tale doesn't begin with Ayn-actually it doesn't even revolve around her that much. Lanithro, Duke of Mischief is from the same plane as the Lord of Chaos and Lord of Order. A few centuries back, the Lord of Chaos wanted to see what it was like to have a disciple so he chose the Duke of Mischief. He was teaching the Duke how to make people miserable and all. As you know, the Lord of Chaos is selfish, so when he got bored he abandoned the Duke and went on his way. You see, the Duke wasn't too happy that he was abandoned. He wanted revenge, but there was no way he would be able to cause any damage on the Lord of Chaos himself, so he decided to take a different route.

                                  This is where Ayn comes in. Sadly, the girl has no recollection of this, but Lanithro does. As a child, Ayn received a cloak as a gift from her parents. She wore it as soon as she received it and everything went dark. Once she came to, she has no memory of who she was or where she came from, except for the fact that her name was Ayn, not to mention she was around fifteen at the time. She was confused in hearing another voice in her head, learning that the source was from her cloak. She learned of the Duke's history and how he struggled to find a host after a few centuries of being passed around as an old rag. The Duke chose Ayn as his medium since she had the potential to use the mystic arts. At first, she wanted nothing to do with Lanithro, but he promised to recover her lost memories as long as she continued being his host.

                                  Ayn has decided to become a mercenary since Lanithro advised her to, along with the fact that it provided some form of entertainment for him. Surprisingly, Ayn has some sort familiarity with Jump City, despite having no recollection of it's structures, let alone residents, within her mind.


                                  ────► tab Whenever Ayn's hood is on, it obscures her face that it casts a shadow, making her face appear as a black entity with beady red eyes and a cheshire-like grin when she smiles. Also, the Duke is a major troll, so be wary when he takes possession of his host's body

She ran away from home and searched for the truth within Sternbild's streets. Rumor has it she joined a criminal organization and continued her training. You're probably wondering, where is she now? Well, you're looking at her. As you can see, her story is not finished, but your's is..."

Abilities/Skills: Intermediate Marksmanship: "I'm no pro like the rookie that breaks everything, but I know how to handle a gun when I hold it. I mainly keep it for intimidation, nothing too fancy. The only thing you should watch out for is my drawing speed. By the time you blink, you'll see the gun in my hand."
Mixed Martial Arts Master: "I waste no movements in my attacks and I know a variety of techniques, let it be on moving platforms, solid ground, or mid-air. I'll take you down anywhere. Even if its a technique I don't know, I'll still pull through. I've been told that my moves sometime look like dance moves, which is funny because I don't know how to dance. Fair warning, if I'm liking the fight too much, I may go on the wild side."
Chi Manipulation: "What kind of martial artist would I be if I can't use my Chi? Thanks to this ability I get mistaken for a NEXT. Through the use of chi augmentation, I can enhance my physical abilities to be on the same level as those who use the Hundred Power Next ability. As long as I am using my chi to enhance my physical capabilities, I can last longer than those guys by a mile. I can use my chi to adapt my body to the environment such as harsh weather conditions. I can even harness the elements and mix them in my martial art techniques. Fun fact: when my chi is activated, the pressure from the energy itself can induce fear. Some will crap their pants while others will feel nervous. Oh, when I meditate my chi can also heal my wounds, whether external or internal, but depending on the wound takes time. Hmm, I guess I'm what you call me a mystic martial arts master."
Weakness: "I can go berserk if I get too drawn into the fight. What can I say? There are not a lot of people who can handle me. If I use excessive amounts of chi -other than supernatural conditioning- for more than fifteen minutes, then my body will start building up the fatigue. I'm a bit bad in holding back in a fight, plus I can't say no to a challenge unless I have to give priority to my job."
