Rise of a New Evil.

This Naruto roleplay is set in the Naruto universe although none of the actual characters exist in this universe, you cannot play as Naruto or Sasuke or anyone from actual Naruto, thank you.

Rules:
-Post at least a paragraph long, 4-5 sentences.
-No god moding, you will be kicked out and or your post will be deleted.
- I'm not asking you to be a english teacher, although be literate enough where we understand what you're trying to do/say.
- Don't kill anyone without there permission, although I'll gladly let you put them in the hospital! biggrin
-Title your Private Message "Kickass" obviously without the quotations.
-Romance and Drama is encouraged although keep it PG-13, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
-You can have as many characters as you want, though you must be active on all of them.
-Make your posts look halfway decent, you must have at least a picture AND your health and chakra.
-If you're gone for 3 days without a single post I'm going to put you on parole, you have another 3 days after that before you're kicked out of the roleplay.
-Don't be a d**k, obviously your character can, but you personally... don't be.
-I have the right to add more, and I will add more. So shut up.

About the Roleplay:

This roleplay's setting is in the Naruto universe although none of the characters actually exist. That's why you and I create said characters! The roleplay is fairly simple and has nothing too complex. This roleplay has a combat system. Meaning it's not like traditional Roleplays, every ability and anything that could hurt or do anything to an opponent whether it be a Genjustu or a Ninjustsu you must role dice.
Luckily Gaiaonlne's forum system has dice built into it, scroll down further to learn more about the Combat System.

We also as have Missions, Missions are basically tasks that you voyage out and try too accomplish in your ninja squad. Missions are given too you by the Hokage, you don't choose your missions until you're of higher rank. Missions are categorized as D, C, B, A, S. Furthest to the right side is the hardest and furthest to the left side is easiest as you complete missions you will be promoted and you will be able to do harder missions.

Story of the Roleplay(so far):

Recently the Hokage was assassinated by his Son "Kazame". Kazame ran off, the ninja squadrons never found him. A new Hokage was recently appointed his name is "Ash". Little does the Ninja World know a war is going to start soon, an extremely bloody war and many will die. Two groups will cause this war: Akatsuki and Paragon.

Genin - Genins are low-ninjas basically, it's what Naruto was at the start of Part I.

Jōnin - Jōnin's are high-ninjas basically, its' what Kekashi is. Generally in the roleplay if you're a Jōnin you'll be a Sensei or a Teacher of some sort. (We will have a limit of these)

This is important!
If you do not understand the combat system and you read private message "Icebounded" for further questions, combat will only go this way and not any other way.

Alright, so the very basics I'll explain.
Everyone has Health and Chakra, if you have ever played an MMO think as your Health..as your Characters health and Chakra as your Characters Mana. Chakra is used to use Abilities for example a Rasengan is an ability and let's say it costs 50 Chakra to use, well it depletes that from your Chakra pool, your Chakra pool is all of your Chakra. So let's say the person who used Rasengan has 200 Chakra, now he has 150 Chakra after using Rasengan. One he has 0 Chakra left he can no longer use abilties that require Chakra to use.

Health works the same way, although when you run out of health you're knocked out and if you go -50 health you die! So basically lets say your character was just knocked out, he lost the fight. The person who you're fighting wants to kill you, he has to do 50 more damage to you to kill you. Every ability in his roleplay has a damage component if the person successfully hits you then the person taking the damage must deduct however much damage that attack did from there health. So ability an ability that does 10 damage and the person they attacked has 20 health, they now have 10 heath left.

Although abilities don't just automatically hit! That's just disgraceful and cheating. You must roll against the person you're fighting. So we'll give a little example:

Naruto uses Rasengan on Sasuke. (Naruto Must Roll Now)
Naruto rolls the 20 sider and get's a 9.
Sasuke rolls the 20 sider and get's a 15. (Sasuke most roll now)
Sasuke has successfully dodged the attack, meaning he doesn't take any damage and Naruto just wasted Chakra!

Why did Sasuke dodge? Because he rolled a higher number than Naruto did.
Although here it something extremely important, IF YOU ROLL TWICE THE NUMBER OF THE PERSON YOU'RE ROLLING AGAINST, YOU CAN COUNTER THEM WITH ANOTHER ABILITY. So we're going to give another example:

Naruto uses Rasengan on Sasuke. (Naruto Must Roll Now)
Naruto rolls the 20 sider and get's a 9.
Sasuke rolls the 20 sider and get's a 18. (Sasuke most roll now)
Sasuke side steps and turns around and Chidori's Naruto into the ground.

COUNTERS ALSO DON'T COUNT TOWARDS THE COUNTERS NEXT TURN.

Isn't that cool? Combat is turn based. So it would go something like this:

Sasuke.

IF SOMEONE EVER ROLLS A 20 ON THE 20 SIDER, THERE DAMAGE IS DOUBLED.
