Now normally, when one thinks of getting woken up in the morning for school, one automatically thinks of blaring alarm clocks, right? Well, Not one Tyler Reeves. When he thought of waking up in the morning for school, he automatically pictures two little blond princesses coming and jumping on his bed and poking him with random toys till he got up. And today was just like every other day. Around six forty, the door to the blond teenagers room creaked open. Of course poor Tyson was never aware of this. He was too hard of a sleeper to prepare himself for the ‘vicious’ attacks from his little sisters. Soft pitter-patters of little feet against plush carpet and badly muffled giggles from the girls echoed around the room as the two four year olds neared the bed. Of course, their mother merely peeked in to watch the little wake up call, amusement written all over her pretty face. One of the girls, Kirsten, held a soft ugly doll’s plushy clutched to her chest and the other blond, Zoë was pulling Tyson’s computer chair up to his bed and clambering up and standing.
The mother almost felt bad for her son, as she knew what was about to happen. But Tyson was always such a hard sleeper, and this was the best way to get him up. Said blond boy was sprawled half-hazardly across his bed, one arm flopped over his face and the other laying half off the bed, his back flat against the bed while his hips and legs were twisted towards the wall his bed was pressed up against. His mother cocked her head. Surely that had to be uncomfortable. Ah, the wonders of her son. The twins started to giggle, while Zoe stood in the chair, giggling uncontrollably. Suddenly, Zoe launched herself ontop of the slumbering blond, landing hard on his stomach, causing him to jerk roughly and gasp for the breath that left his lungs in a ‘whoosh’ . Kirsten meanwhile started poking him in the side of the head with one of the long ears on the doll, giggling madly along with her sister. Tyson, now being able to properly breathe, sighed loudly and reached down and started to poke Zoe in the side while his mother left the doorway and back downstairs.
Zoe squealed and rolled over onto his legs, allowing Tyson to sit up, pushing his messy blond hair out of his face, sighing. “Chibi’s…do you have to wake me up like that?” He asked, smiling all the while. “YEP! YEP! YEP!” Screeched Zoe while Kirsten nodded and giggled “Papa says you sleep like a…a rock!” Tyson made a face which caused both girls to giggle. “I do not!” He said, suddenly throwing his covers over Zoe and yanking his legs out from under her. She squealed again and squirmed under the covers, trying to find the way out. Kirsten was hopping up and down, holding one of her arms up so he could pick her up and set her on the bed. He did so, trading spots with her and standing, rubbing his stomach under his shirt while the two girls bounced on his bed. “Can I leave you two here alone while I take my shower? You know where the crayons and paper is right?” since the two were in his room a lot, he’d made a little box specifically for them with crayons and paper and a few coloring books. He’d taken away the stickers after coming out of a shower and finding half his room plastered with pink, purple and lime green butterflies. Both called out a “Okay Ty-Ty!” before running over to the box pushed under his desk. He smiled and grabbed a pair of clean boxers from his dresser and went to the bathroom for his shower.
He came back out fifteen minutes later with clean hair, body, boxers and teeth. And he found both his sisters in the middle of his floor, dancing around, crayons everywhere. They had also managed to turn on his stereo which was currently blasting out some Goo Goo Dolls music. He blinked and shook his head. He would never understand how his sisters were able to make such a huge mess in only fifteen minutes. Both girls looked up and giggled at his lack of clothing, calling out that he had cooties. He grinned and tugged on a ‘The Spill Canvas’ T-shirt with paint splatters of different colors all over it -a result from a finger painting war between him an Kirsten- before crouching down and giving Kirsten a ‘shwerbert’ on the cheek, quickly catching Zoe by the back of her lime green dress and giving her one too. “Now! Just for the ‘cooties’ comment, I now banish you from my room! I’ll have you know that I am cooties negative. Now, clean up the mess, and be gone with ye!” He’d been so over dramatic about it, that both girls were giggling but did as they were told and cleaned up, taking a couple pictures with them that were probably meant for the refrigerator. When they hesitated at the door, he made to lunge at them and they shrieked and ran down the hall and down the stairs. He listened and made sure he didn’t hear any screaming because one of them had fallen down or on the stairs, before shutting his door so he could change.
He tugged on a pair of dark washed blue jeans and yanked on a random pair of socks. He gathered up his things -books, I-pod, cell phone, wallet, keys- and shoved them in his black back pack. He actually didn’t use messenger bags, unless he was going to some ones house or something. Otherwise he didn’t use them really, they hurt his shoulders. He looked through his camera bag, making sure he had what he needed -spare lenses, film, memory cards, charger, both digital and film camera- before heading downstairs. He nearly tripped over Kirsten as the girl shot past him, trying to get to the bathroom, landing awkwardly on his left ankle. He winced and set his stuff down by the door, rotating the appendage to make sure it was alright, before walking into the kitchen. He went over and rummaged around in the fridge, pulling out a bottle of red mountain dew, trying to ignore his mothers disapproving look. See, Tyson never ate much of anything in the mornings, as it ended up making him sick to his stomach for some strange odd reason. He smiled charmingly at her, blinking as she pointed to the clock. He blinked, his eyes widening slightly. “Holy Shi-” He cut himself off as his mother gave him a look. “Shi…take mushrooms.” He was always forgetting to edit himself around the babies. His mom wasn’t really strict when it came to cursing, so long as he wasn’t cursing out teachers or authority figures. But that didn’t mean that she particularly liked it.
He quickly kissed his mom on the cheek, then Zoe on the top of her pig-tailed head. He once again almost tripped over Kirsten, but manage to safely avoid a collision. He kissed her on the head, shouting out to them “I’ll see you later! I’ll call if something comes up!” before gathering up his things and shooting out to his car, a used navy and silver Subaru Baja. He climbed in and put the keys in the ignition, starting the car and pulling out of the driveway. He cranked up the volume for his radio, letting ‘The summer obsession’ serenade him on the way to school. He smiled as he neared the building. He actually didn’t mind being at school, no not because he liked doing homework, but because of his boyfriend, Aiden. He grinned at the thought of the model boy. His model boy. Now they were both seniors and their anniversary was coming up. Wow…It’s been one full year…It doesn’t seem that long at all. He thought as he pulled into the parking space at the school. I wonder what I should get him…He pouted slightly. He’d never been good at buying gifts for people, unless they told him flat out what they wanted, or they were just simple to buy for, like his sisters. He climbed out of the car, grabbing his things and locking the door. He pulled out the cell and quickly sent a text to said male before walking into the building. The other was almost always there before him, unless they decided that they would go to school together.
