As Kaka said, many of you must've looked and found a mail from none other than Edmund, our high-class and well-known shopkeeper of H&R.
Edmund asks you to bring him 2 things, garlic and black Orchid.
Odd items, but in exchange, he gives you a brooch.
Soon after, you meet the Van Helson sisters. If you remember the Van Helsons. You'll also remember thier feud with the Gambino family.

They ask you for extra money, since, their house broke on top of them.
They'll give you a brooch, and comment on how....delicious you look.

Gino and Edmund are alive at the same time, so, there's no doubt that Edmund isn't Gino.
BUT.
Take notice to read what Edmund says as well.

o2. The scar? That question is asked a lot. I'm pretty sure gaia was even hinting about telling us.
That COULD have something to do with it.

If you guys remember the Von helson sisters from a long time ago, you must also remember that Johnny Gambino was shot, and Gino fell after him. Gino was found by Ian And Sasha and was allowed to stay with them.
In the comic, it ends with Ian holding a knife, with envy for Gino.

So, they could just be, not cured.
So, here comes the big theory.
The Von Helsons are vampires.
If you read those crazy vampire stories.
There are a few ways to ward them off.
Garlic.
Edmund gave you garlic.
Then, there is the darkness. In those crazy stories, vampires can only come out at night.
AND.
I do recall reading that if vampires wear capes, they have brooches to go with them.
The brooch that the sisters give you is called.
Blood Drop Brooch.
Ironic? Or no?
Then, the physical features of the sisters.
One sister has a line, maybe a stitched line across her face.
The thing misleading, is that one sister is supposed to be figured as an angel.
And vampires are usually portrayed as demons damned to eternity, and hell .
Here's a story
Let's say Edmund is Gino.
Okay, the sisters want revenge on the Gambino's.
So, they are vmapires, it might take a few gaian years for them.
Then, Gino goes undercover as Edmund the Shopkeeper after the outbreak of the virus. But, as soon as he hears the sisters are after him, he must stop them. So, what would you do if you see the clean-freak, high class Edmund walk into the Flower shop and buy onions. Suspicious. So, he has us get it for him, and gives us the brooch to protect us from the sisters. But, they have plans of their own. Giving us their own, vampire-ish brooch, then telling us to spread it to our friends.
Take a good look at those scrrenies.

Why do they want our money?
When they give you the brooch, they tell you to give it to your friends.
