PERSONALITY
⊰ She is a calm and rational person, always trying to see the larger picture. She tends to keep to herself, as she has a very hard time trusting others. A bit pragmatic, she prefers to take a realistic approach to things, rather than making assumptions and flying off the handle. She is also a fairly perceptive person, using her observational skills to determine the behaviour and motives of those around her. She is also rather conservative and takes pride in her femininity, which often causes her to lash out if her pride is wounded.

BIOGRAPHY
⊰ Born into a small ninja clan that resided in the mountains, she was trained in the ways of the ninja from the time she could walk. Despite being a female, she excelled at ninjutsu, surpassing most of those that trained alongside her. Years went by, and she soon entered her teens years, at which point her father brought her along with him for a mission, which was meant to test whether or not she was capable of taking a life, as they had been hired to kill a noble that resided at the base of the mountain. Once the task had been completed, she was a full-fledged ninja, which meant she could now go on solo missions.

As more years passed and she entered adulthood, demons began plaguing her village. Just one here and there at first, which they were able to dispatch on their own with relative ease. But as time went on, their numbers increased, and many ninja fell victim to them. Eventually, it seemed as though the threat of the demons had passed, and the ninja went to work rebuilding their damaged village. It was at this time that Shino went on a mission that took her down to the village below the mountain. Only gone for a day or two, she returned home to find it overrun by demons, her entire village slaughtered. Making her way through the chaos, she headed to her hut to find her father, but it was too late, a demon had made a meal out of him. Flying into a rage, she managed to overcome the demon, from which a small glowing shard flew out of its severed corpse. Deciding to take the shard, she fled back down the mountain, evading the demons that pursued her for the jewel shard.
