Alcée was quite disappointed about the princes life style. Of course Alcée could never live that life style. When the feast came, Alcée was filled with joy as the meals were served. He sat between Amadour and the prince eating with a large smile on his face. He conversed with the nobles. For some reason they didn't take to much appeal to him. They knew about his dragon nature. "He acts like a dragon, I don't know why nobody caught it before." He heard one of them whisper. Amadour tried as well but they treated Amadour the same way as Alcée. Both brother ignored the treatment they got. To Alcée none of it mattered as long as Amadour was well. He heard another comment about dragons across the table and then a slur about Amadour. Quickly he shut his mouth and opened up his ears to hear the conversation. He was glad to hear that they were only talking smack about dragons and how rude they were. Alcée knows how dragons acted. He was one of them. His father was another one. At one point of the dinner, Amadour turned to face Alcée. "Alcée, you are so quite. Are you ok?" Alcée looked at Amadour with a wide smile. "I am just tired my brother. After the feast, I would like to go to bed." His brother nodded. Alcée wanted to talk to the prince but he felt as if the prince didn't like him. At one point in the eventing, he felt his heart and time stop. The feast was hours long and it never seemed to end. Finally everybody was dismissed from the table.
He walked his brother to his room and then Alcée skipped to the prince's room. "Goooodddddnnniiiigggghhhhttttt." He yelled into the room and then happily hopped to his room. He went to bathe in the warm water. This was the first day, he didn't think about his mother. He looked at the ceiling and smiled. He ended his bath and got up. He dried off and then put on some cloths that he took from his wagon. He smelled something and winkled his nose. "Alright, time to see what the hell is going on." He said. He tip-toed out of his room and down the hallway. There, he saw a dark shadow walking down the hallway. "Well now, what do we have here." He moved to the other side of te hallway. "You know, I don't think the castle allows people to be walking the hall this late at night." He stood there looking at the cloaked human shape. The person in the cloak took of their hood. It reveled the face of a girl about Alcée's age. She looked so much like him only there was a head band holding her hair back. "What are you doing here?" His eye narrowed.
"Alcée" The girl in the cloak jumped forward and hugged him. "My dear, they have not killed you yet?" She said with a surprise. "My dear Alcée, you must come with me!" Alcée looked around. "What are you doing here Ami?" The girl looked into his eyes. "Alcée, you need to come with me." The girl pulled Alcée along wit her. Once they made it to the entrance of the kingdom Alcée stopped. "Alcée, what is wrong?" She asked him. "I can't go far frm the castle. What is it that you need?" His voice was monotone. "The dragons Alcée they need your help!" Alcée let go of her hand. "And my brother needs mine." The girl sighed. "Bring him with you. Alcée this kingdom banned us a long time ago. They haven't stop with torching us! Not to long ago, they attacked our village." Alcée's eye widened, then he looked away. "Ami, you need to leave." The girl was surprised by Alcée's response. "Alcée, you must leave. Do you not know where your father is right now?" She shouted. "!" He yelled back. "How could you! You are abandoning your own to what?!?! Live in this rotten kingdom!" Suddenly, there was a brighten of the lights in the house around them. "Ami, you need to leave." The girl snailed and turned into a raging purple dragon. She left Alcée standing in the middle of the rode. A man came out of his house. "Look at this! We allow a dragon to live in the castle and now he as brought more of those wild beast. He should be banned." Alcée turned his head. A tear fell from his eyes as he walked passed the angry man. Other people shouted in anger as Alcée walked to the castle.
Alcée walked up to the room he was shown to him earlier. He laid on the hard bed. He looked out the window to see a mountain in the distance. He could tell that there were dragons on the other side. "What does she mean by they need my help? Are they against us?" Alcée thought out loud. He turned onto his side and a tear rolled down his cheek again. "I hope they are alright." He knew about the dragon clan, but he didn't think that the kingdom would ever fine them. And even if the dragon clan were attacked then why isn't there news of it in the kingdom? "It can't be true." Alcée said to himself. Alcée tossed and turned. He found it hard to sleep but then again the hard floor and the thought of his own kind suffering didn't help. The sun rose. The bright sun rays shined through the window in Alcée's room.
"Dammit." He murmured as he fell out of his bed. "Rwarrr." He yelled and hit his head on the bed post. "I hate everything." He muttered as he got up. Looking outside at the mountain, he saw nothing had happened to the land far away. Then he looked down at the garden and saw his prince. Smiling he watched as the little ones played. His eye flashed back to the prince as he was forced to be inside. "Well, that is too bad." He said out loud. He skipped down the stairs. He met up with a maid and asked her with a sweet voice where the prince had gone. Once the girl got a look at Alcée, her face went from a loving mother to a defensive raccoon. She snapped at him for no reason and Alcée was pushed out into the hallway. "Well, you would think that had better manners." He grunted and then continued his search for the prince. Finally he walked into the library. He smiled when he saw the prince sitting there studding. He skipped over to him. "HELLO." He said. He took the book out of the prince's hands. "What cha readin'?" He asked as if he were a five-year-old. "This is boreding. Lets not read this. Let go up to your room!" Alcée's voice echoed through out the library. "Wow, it is so hallow in here. Well let's go." Alcée pulled the prince. He didn't care if he was allowed to or not.
Alcée entered the room, ignoring the prince's will. Even if he did shout something, Alcée didn't pay to much attention. "Ready to take a ride?" He asked. With out a response, Alcée pulled the prince on his back and ran over to the window. He jumped out as they flew out, Alcée turned into his pure white dragon form. "You might want to hang on." He said. For some reason as he was a dragon his voice turned deeper. He flew over the kingdom walls and into the forest. He landed in the clearing some where in the deep forest. "What did you think?" He said as his powerful skinny legs touched the floor.
