xxxxxxxxIn the night I hear 'em talk, the coldest story ever told
                                    Somewhere far along this road
                                    He lost his soul
                                    To a woman so heartless
How could you be so heartless?

xxxxxxxx Isaac Slade of The Fray sang ever so softly out of Hayden Wilson's large and black stereo. Even though the song was gentle and melodious, he had the speakers up to ARE YOU INSANE?! just to block any other sound that came from his loveless life. The young nineteen year old laid spread out on his king sized bed, floating in his pool of depression, and staring up at the ceiling. And staring back at him was what once was the love of his life (still is), Mai Lee. Hayden had taped a large picture of her when he was taking photography class. He sucked at it but that photo was the only one that made him appear like a qualified photographer.

xxxxxxxx I mean after all the things we've been through
I mean after all the things we got into
Yo, I know of some things that you ain't told me
Yo, I did some things but that's the old me

xxxxxxxx A long, exhausted sigh flowed out of the Wilson's mouth. How could she just end it?, Hayden thought. "How could she just end IT after all the things we've been through?!" this time the words shouted out. Frustation filled up but was suddenly lowered by depression. His arms dropped back down beside him after pulling onto his hair. The poor guy was heart broken for yesterday, his recent girlfriend decided to break up with him. Mai and Hayden knew eachother since his cousin and best friend introduced them at a party. The Wilson boy fell for her, and when he fell, he fell hard and instantly. And now, just when he was thinking that things were just perfect in his world. The girl dropped the bomb on him. We've been together for months now, how can she say there was no connection?, a hand landed on Hayden's face and wiped down onto his chin. How can she be so heartless?

Katon of the Uchiha Clan xXxxxxxxxxx
Pain x Divides x You.

xxxxxxUser Imagexxx The cool Konoha breeze blew in through Katon's open window. It playfully blew on the papers that were on his desk and blew against round paper laterns that caused his room to glow red and white because they represented the Uchiha clan. As a sheet with symbolic letters on it entered his gaze at the ceiling, Katon realized how quiet his new home was. The Uchiha had thought that since he was a elite jounin, he was old enough to move out of the Uchiha manor and into a apartment suitable for a young man. Boy was he wrong. This place was too quiet. There was no yellings of sibling rivalry. There was no mother bursting into his room with knocking. There was no father to be hard on him to keep him on his feet. There was absolutely nothing but silence. And to add, He couldn't even go back and spend at least one night over at the manor since his brothers and father had bet on the days he would last alone.

Katon brought his hands up to cover his face and groaned. "What the hell did I got myself into?" he muttered harshly to himself. He could still feel the Konoha breeze mess with the papers in his room, but this time, a scent had tagged along. "Having troubles on paying the house bills, Mister I-Am-A-Grown-Man-I-Can-Live-By-Myself?" the voice of Sixth Hokage's son did not startle the Uchiha one bit nor did he even bothered to remove his hands from his face to look at the Uzumaki. Like Naruto and Sasuke, Katon and Yondaime share the same bond. They were like brothers and on the same time, rivals. They always try to outdo the other. "What brings you here, Yondaime?" Katon asked in his monotone. "Just walking around. Looking for two or three genins that could possiblely be my new team. You don't happen to have seen them have you?" Even though Katon's hands covered his sight, he could still hear Yondaime get comfortable on the edge of his window. "It's only been the first day and you've all ready lost the kids?" Yondaime gagged on that, "N-no. . . . Maybe? I fell asleep."

Katon smirked, that smirk of his that shows pride and says 'I am way better than you'. Yondaime was just like the Naruto his father described in his early years. An annoying pest. The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. Suddenly, the silence was broken by a loud crack. Katon shot up from his bed with his brows narrowed in confusion. He had thought that the Uzumaki boy had cracked his window, but Yondaime stood out on the rooftop. The loud crack came from outside. Immediately, Katon made his way to the window and stuck his head out. There was a good part to living in the apartment and that was the perfect view of Konoha's Hokage Mountain, but when Katon stuck his head out to see the source of the loud crack, the Sixth Hokage had burst into pieces. The Uchiha looked up to see his friend tense up by the sight of such disrepect. Not only that but the face of Naruto Uzumaki collasped and crushed the building below and covered that area in a large cloud of dirt. Katon had spotted a figure that stood on top of the only piece remaining of the Sixth Hokage's head. Whoever that person was, it didn't seem to be finished. Next came a wave that crashed down on the large cloud of dirt and flooded the streets of Konoha.

Screams alerted Katon into action. He darted back into his room to retrieve his katana and then turned back. Yondaime seemed to be frozen in place, spooked and shocked at the sight that occured before him. Katon dashed out of the window and grabbed Yondaime by his green Jounin vest to move him out of the way of a stray wave that managed to over tower the apartment. The two appeared a higher rooftop. "Yondaime snap out of it!" Katon shook the frozen boy to come to his senses. When he did, Yondaime looked more serious than he ever had been before. "Take care of the village." the Uzumaki boy commanded as he bolted to the Hokage Mountain. Katon rolled his eyes when he disappeared. He hated when Yondaime did. The Uchiha turned to the direction where the waterflow was heading. The center of Konoha. Katon flash stepped towards the location, his mind still trying to come up with a way to stop Konoha from being an under water village.

Katon reappeared in the center of Konoha, his Sharingan had activated along the way. People were frozen in place too, staring at the approaching waves like dumbies. "Move! Get away from here!" The Uchiha shouted and shoved the citizens to snap them into their senses. "Go! Get to higher grounds! Move it!" the waves came closer and Katon still had no idea what to do. Then he remembered one of the wind based ninjutsus he saw in his Chuunin exam. That was it. Katon took a deep breath before he could perform it. His chest puffed as he made the hand signs, "Wind Blade." the steel blade of his katana dissolved and formed into wind. Katon gripped onto the hand while he waited for the right moment. The waves entered the enter and at that moment, Katon leaped up. When the waves were about to crash down, the Uchiha swung down his wind blade and caused the waves to burst up. "Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu!" Katon quickly pulled off the Grand Fireball Skill. He used a high amount of his chakra, which allowed him to breath out a large portion of flame to cause the water to turn into steam.

xxxxx A beer can flew into the starry night, flipped rapidly due to the rushed air, kissed the road once, and then fell into the darkness of the trees that lined up on both sides of the road. That was the fourth beer can Eddie Bass has drunk tonight. The other three were also tossed out of his cherry hot Ferrari, flipped rapidly into the night sky, kissed the road once, and then disappeared into a bush or something. He's not much of a fan for recycling. The headlights of his car glowed as brightly as the moon. For someone who acts like a bad a**, Edward's childhood fear of the dark never left him. The lights guided his way while he curved to the right, then to the left, then to the right again until Eddie spotted the dirt path up ahead that Nick said it would lead to his family's cabin. "Finally. Sick and tired of getting lost." the boy growled before he popped another can of beer open and chugged it down. It's a wonder how his friends convinced him to get his lazy butt out of his three day slumber. The last club he went pretty much got him hammered and on the front cover of almost every mag. Those three days in his room were probably an escape from all the flashing lights and drama. Spending sometime at some cabin in the middle of nowhere is the best choice to run away again and this time, his friends will keep him company. Like always.
xxxxx The cherry hot Ferrari all most bounced as Eddie turned onto the dirt path, went a bit off onto the side, his front left tire rode up a rock, then hit back down onto the dirt path. Eddie shook his head to clear his mind from being under the influence. "Damn car. Learn how to drive." The drunk teenager sped up after seeing the light porch of the cabin not too far ahead. Once reaching the cabin, Eddie drove up the front lawn and parked his car right there. His car door swung open and the driver stumbled out. He caught his fall and spilled some beer on the lawn. Before Eddie maintained his balance and was able to walk in a---all most a straight line to the cabin door that looked warmed and cozy inside, he heard laughter behind him. The teenager turned to face the black forest, which to him, kept growing larger as if it was approaching him to devour him in complete darkness. He gulped, a frown grew heavier on his face, but then sighed in pathetic relief once he spotted Rosie and Nick causing all the laughter. "Hey you two." Edward greeted as he changed directions and walked toward his trunk. "I hope I didn't miss the party. Don't want all of this beer go to waste for being late." he continued and popped his trunk, revealing packs of beer cans, vodka bottles, and wine. He took out a wine bottle and approached the two lovebirds, "Just a little something in case you two decide to wrinkle the sheets and make the bed squeak." Eddie handed the wine to Nick. "So, um, is everyone here or am I actually early?"

xxxxxxx User Image "Go Sparky, use thundershock!" the blond child commanded, his new pokemon leaping into the sky to damage it's opponent with a better chance. "Pppiiikkkaaa-CCHHUUUU~!" Sparky, the boy's Pikachu, went. Bolts of lighting striked out of the yellow, eletric rat's red cheeks and paralyzed the Charmander. "No, Charmander!" the owner of the small dragon ran towards his pokemon's side and knelt down beside it while the other cheered in victory. "Boo-yah!" twelve year old, Davis Yoh Wong, shouted with a fist punching the air. "That was awesome, Sparky!" the rich haired, yet too lazy to comb it, embraced his Pikachu after it jumped onto his chest. The two grinning brightly.
xxxxxxx User Image It has only been three hours since Davis picked up his first pokemon from Professor Oak. He wasn't the only one there, several other kids from Pallet Town were recieving their first pokemon as well. A Pikachu was what Davis requested ever since his dad took him to work since he's the professor's assistant. The young boy admired the eletric type and was also a Pokemon not commonly picked to be the first. Usually, new trainers pick a Charmander or a Squirtle or a Bulbasaur. Therefore, picking a Pikachu made it even more special.
xxxxxxx User Image "Yeah! that's our third win today." Davis Wong said to Sparky, who reached up to sit on his shoulder and cheered in victory once again. He then turned to see his opponent kneeling by his Charmander with his head low in defeat. Slightly frowning, Davis walked towards the boy. "Hey, neat fight you and your Charmander put up." the boy looked up at the fox faced winner. Davis' arm was extended to him, and the boy shook his hand. "You too. Your Pikachu is tough for a beginner." Davis smiled, taking his hand back and using it to scratch the small rat's chin. Leaving the boy, Davis began to walk back towards home, which was on the other side of peace and quiet Pallet Town. "Mmmaaannn, why did we wonder off far from home? Should have brought my bike, huh Sparky?" "Piikkaa. . ." Davis hid his hands into the pockets of his dark-slate-blue, saggy jeans. His jeans weren't all sagged, but just enough to show an inch of his Pokeball boxers. As the pair walked, the band, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, was rocking out of Davis' big headphones, which were on his neck unstead of his head.
xxxxxxx User Image The fox faced boy couldn't wait to arrive home and pack up. Like his big brother, Zuko, Davis plans to set off on a journey when he recieved his first pokemon. And today was the day. Of course, when Davis arrives home, his mom would put up a great battle to prevent him from leaving. Just like she did with Zuko. He hopes mom understands why he wants to adventure off. It was not only to be the best Pokemon Master of them all, but also to experience the world much better than just reading about it in some book at school. That's what Zuko said before he left. He also said, "When a boy leaves home to begin his quest of adventure, he is no longer known as a boy, but a man.". "Zuko's so cool." Davis said to himself in admiration. His Pikachu just turned to him and blinked.
xxxxxxx User Image Passing the Pokemon lab and still having a mile to go, Davis Wong noticed a group of children still trying to receive their first pokemon. Or so he thought, why else would they be at Professor Oak's? Unless they're going to stop by and brag to they're old man, who happens to be Professor Oak's assistant, about the three battles they have won today. Because that's exactly what Davis is going to do. The straw haired child marched his way up the dirt path that lead to the Pokemon lab.
