Unrequited love was something that Micah knew all too well. It was just the story of his life, always falling in love for people that he shouldn’t fall for but he just couldn’t help it. Whether it was the most popular guy in school, whose straight as can be and with a girlfriend, or his older brother’s friend that only sees him as, well, a younger brother. Sighing, Micah stared at his new crush, trying not to be obvious. His crush this time was different. He was none other than his best friend, Ty.

Micah never saw Ty in a romantic way until that night. The two of them were up late studying for finals when Ty suggested that they take a break and have a little fun. Several beers later they were swimming in Micah’s pool in nothing but their boxers. To Micah’s surprise he found himself drawn to his fun-loving friend in a way that he never had before. At first, he assumed it was just the alcohol or the sleep depravity or the way the moonlight was dancing over Ty’s body, showing off its beauty. But over the days after that midnight swim, he found his reasoning to be quite flawed as he found himself daydreaming about him and stare way more than he should.

The problem with his fantasies was not because Ty was his best friend, it wasn’t because he was straight for he knew Ty was bisexual, it was because he knew Ty wasn’t a person who dated. Ty was someone who hooked up and moved on, hit it and quit it, never dating one of his hook ups, and always claiming that he would never fall in love. While Micah on the other hand was a hopeless romantic. He always dreamed of finding love and having that guy actually love him back, it was just harder than he thought to find that happy ending.

"Hey, Micah! Are you listening to me?"

Hearing his name, Micah snapped out of his daze to see the very person he was staring at staring back at him. "Huh?" He asked confused.

Ty smiled at his friend, slightly shaking his head. "I was just asking you what you felt like doing after school today?

Micah smiled, embarrassed. He was so dazed out, thinking about Ty, he didn't even realized when the object of his thoughts started to talk to him. He thought for a moment thinking about a response to the question. "Uh... Yeah. You know what I'm feeling like taking a swim."

Teenage dreams in a teenage circus
Running around like a clown on purpose
Who gives a damn about the family you come from?
No givin up when you’re young and you want some

Beep. Beep. Beep. Groaning, Kiku looked at her phone where the loud alarm was coming from. She was so tired, she was tempted to throw it against the wall. The only thing that stopped her was the fact that she loved her fairly new iphone. She turned off the alarm, and regrettably got out of bed. Yawning, Kiku shuffled to the bathroom. She looked in the mirror to see her hair was all over the place. She was always a rough sleeper and no matter what she did she always woke up with bed head. There was always a downfall to everything, she guessed.

"Good morning self! You're looking gorgeous this morning," Kiku tried to smile. As weird as it sounded, she always wanted to start of the morning with motivating words, it was something that her mother used to do. 'Start off the day great, have a great day...' Her mother used to say. Even though her mother died when she was seven, Kiku made it a habit to always think about her so not to forget. She never wanted to forget her mother.

Kiku stretched and yawned once more as she sniffed her armpit checking to see if she needed to take a shower or not. "Wow.. Definately need to take a shower." She frowned as she started to undress. Once she was in her birthday suit, she jumped in the shower for a nice warm shower. Five minutes of soap, suds, rinse and repeat later, Kiku stepped out of the shower feeling refreshed. Toweling off, she smiled. 'Much better...' She thought, wrapping the towel around her slim body. She took one last look at herself in the mirror before she left the bathroom and went back into her room.

Walking over to her dresser, Kiku took out a pair of tan cargo shorts, a green V-neck, a bra and a pair of underwear along with some green ankle socks. She dressed and left her room after she grabbed her favorite pair of converses. She had a feeling that today was going to be a great one.

✖~Jayce Fitzhenry~✖

User ImageWaking up at four in the morning, Jayce was too nervous to sleep. Today was going to be the first day with his slave/pet since he met him late last night and he didn’t know what to do with himself. As he did various busy work such as cleaning out the refridgerator and reading books he hasn’t read in forever, his mind wondered, thinking about how this all started.

The chain of events that led him to this very day all began two years ago when he came home early from work to see his live in boyfriend, of a year, cheating on him. He was crushed. That even led to him being depressed for almost a year and lonely for more than that. It seemed the only time Jayce left the house was to go to work and get groceries. He had lost all the fun in live and was beging to think this was what his life was always going to be like a lonely and without fun and love, when his friend suggested something bizarre. He could hear his friend’s words now: ’I heard about this website where you can go and get yourself a pet/slave. It’s like those mail order brides and escorts all wrapped together. Totally legal, of course. Why don’t you check it out? If anything you’ll get a roommate and a companion out of it.’ With his friend’s advice, Jayce went on the site and signed up. Even though he didn’t want to admit it, he knew his friend was right, he needed to get over his heartache and his house was too big for him alone.

After a few hours of busy work, it was seven-thirty and Jayce decided it was early or late rather to start breakfast. He thought it would be a nice gesture for his new houseguest to wake up to smell of breakfast. ”How about pancakes?” He said to himself as he started to pull out ingredients and a large mixing bowl. A couple of minutes later, he was done mixing up the batter and was starting with the cooking process. ”I hope he likes pancakes…” He sighed.

Wally West
Shh... I'm Secretly Kid Flash

User Image
►Mood: Indecisive..

Running around his bedroom at superhuman speed, a nineteen year old boy tried to figure out what to wear. It wasn't like he didn't have clothes, it was just that he had a tendency to be undecisive. He went through several drawers, throwing their contents on the floor all around his room trying to figure out what was the best choice. For some reason he was having a harder time than usual, he just couldn't make up his mind. Wally, or Kid Flash or just plain Kid as he was called when in superhero mode, was in the middle of getting ready to go hang out with Robin and after a hour he was still wearing what the same thing as when he started his search and was getting no where. He stopped when he heard his friend yell out at him. "Dude, give me a minute. I'm almost ready!" He lied. Looking around his room at the piles of clean clothes that just lay there, Wally gave up and just picked out a random pair of pants, a long shirt, and a plaid short sleeve shirt. Quickly, he dressed, took a quick glance in the mirror then sped out of his room to meet his friend. "Seriously, Rob, what's your hurry? It's not like we have any set plans." Wally greeted the other once he found him. He scratched his head a bit thinking. "Where are we going anyway?" He asked with an eyebrow raised.

Marah and Daniel Dubois
~~The Twins~~

User ImageUser Image
Marah and Daniel entered the school and headed to the cafeteria where everyone, no matter what group they were in, congregated. Once they reached their table they sat down. Marah looked around the cafeteria, styudying the different faces she saw. Her mind was already thinking and planning out the day's events. What should be done, what lessons were going to gone over next in her classes and gang business.
Daniel watched his sister. Immediately he could tell that she was thinking about the day. He knew her too well to know that she the type of person that didn't like to be surprised so she was always coming up with different scenerios and outcomes of her actions. It was this planning that made her a great leader, but it was also this planning that made her stiff when it came to having fun and just being. He knew he had to get her from thinking so hard. "I'm so tired..." Daniel yawned as he put his head on the table.
Hearing Daniel's voice snapped Marah out of her trance and she looked at him. "I think that's because you stayed up so late, doing who knows what," she replied with a smirk.
Daniel slightly pouted, as if he was offended. "You make it sound like I was doing something dirty. I was actually just playing video games, thank you very much."
Marah laughed at her brother's response. "Right.. that's what you say." She teased with a smile. Her attention was turned away from her brother when she saw a tall guy push someone to the ground after taking his money. "Violence..." She muttered to herself.

After a moment, Marah looked back at her brother. "I think we need muscle." She said abrubtly.
"uhm.. Wait what? What do you mean?" Daniel asked puzzled. He usually gets Marah more than anyone but now he was truly confused he had not a clue what to think.
"The gang needs muscle." She restated. It came to her when she saw the guy push the other boy to the ground. She had to admit she wasn't a huge fan of violence, but they did need some muscle. Without it they would be just a bunch of sitting ducks for any opponent. The Librarians had the brains true, but they still needed some brauns. "It's like if there was just a group of dumb buffed up guys that loved to fight. If there's not one person among them that has some level of smarts then they could easily be outsmartedand taken out." She finally illustrated.
Daniel thought about for a moment. Marah was right. They needed a harmony and they needed some muscle or they'd be easy targets. "You're right..." He nodded. But where?

A post I wrote on my male acount that turned out really good.

User Image
~~Masumi Sauveterre~~

Earth Is Life
Earth Is Love
Earth Is All Around

Masumi nodded in agreement to Tarras and stood there not knowing how exactly to act. When he heard Erin's story it all started to make sense. The rance she was in was triggered by the sight of the smoke. At the time of Erin's earthquake he was only three and really didn't remember the actual day, but over the years he heard about it as others brought it up in conversation. He had never thought it was cause by a person. One person. A nice and friendly girl at that. If it wasn't for his own "awakening" of powers during the past six months, he wouldn't have believed the story.

Masumi stopped moving and his arms hung limp at his sides as he heard Minaru's story and learned about her twin. His natural optimistic outlook of the world was just about drained at the moment. Getting over the confusion he first felt on how her twin sister was in the mirror he just listened not daring to say a word. He didn't understand why anyone should have to go through all of that. Having the person that gave birth to Minaru and her twin, trying to kill her own daughter, baffled him. What a cloud he must have been living on to actually believe everyone is capable of love and compassion in the world. He felt so stupid, so helpless. That feeling only worsened when he heard Tarras story. The other male saw such pain and suffering then he lost it wiping them all out. Yet he vowed to change the world. Change how people saw others that were different from the normal.

At hearing this, Masumi felt moved yet helpless and stupid. He wasn't really a person to complain, but on hearing the other three's story he felt like a spoiled brat. He wasn't spoiled in the sense of how much his family had, which wasn't much afterall, he spoiled in the fact that he had two parents that loved him. They didn't call him names when they found out about his powers. They were stunned as they should be, but they embraced him and accepted him. They lived in a more rural area so they didn't have to worry about neighbors, the few they actually saw, finding out and causing a ruckas. Overall, Masumi was lucky compared to the others and it was that realization that made him feel like crap. As he was thinking about all of this and listening to the other's stories, he didn't realize that his eyes were filling up with tears just ready to release them. Sitting down back on the ground, he pulled his knees towards him and rested his head upon them to hide his face. He tried to fight the urge to cry; he wanted nothing more not to cry in front of the older three. He was already the youngest, he didn't also want to be known as a cry baby. Breathing deeply, he tried to fight the tears but a few slipped out.

"Yeah, I think that's a good idea..." Masumi finally managed to say in response to Erin's last comment. 'Oh please don't start crying...' He thought as he tried to batt the tears away. It wasn't doing much good for more tears started to stream down his cheeks.

OOC: Yes, a group hug would be great right now.

Behold a first post that i just did, that is super lit for me. It reminded me why I don't join too many, if any lit roleplays, because it takes me like a hour+ to write replies for them. Maybe it wouldn't take me as long if I wasn't someone who gets easily distracted. Anywho, here's 7 paragraphs of me being lit. It's a first post, obviously why it's so darn long.

"Who says I can't be a detective? My momma said I can be whatever i want to be"

The room was quiet except for the occasionally snores of someone who was enjoying his sleep and the noise of the bed rocker a little as the snorer tossed in his sleep. This could have gone on for another hour or so until suddenly a phone went off. It rang and rang to tell its owner that someone was calling. Groaning, Cameron finally lifted his head. He grabbed felt around his nightstand in search of the source of all the commotion. After a cople of moments, his hand finally landed on his phone. He brought to his face to see who was calling. Another groan. The caller was none other than his mother.

Sighing heavily, Cameron knew for a fact that if he didn't answer the phone his mother would call again and again and again until her precious boy answered. "Good morning, Ma!" He greeted her. He listened as his mother talked. "Yeah, I know today's going to be my first day at work.." He listened to his mother mention how he usually oversleeps and that she wanted to make sure he got up on time. He looked at the clock on his nightstand. "I know.. Thanks, Ma, but it's 7:30. I don't have to be at work until 9." He listened as she brought up the fact that waking up early would give him time to eat breakfast. "It's the most important meal of the day" she always told him. "Yeah, I know, Ma. I'll do that right now if your done.." He listened. "Okay, good! That's all I was calling for. Oh and to remind you that dinner's at six. Your still coming right?" "Yeah, Ma. I'll do my best to be there. Love you, talk to you later." She said her goodbye as well, finally satisfied and Cameron hung up.

Cameron loved his mother dearly, he was even a Momma's boy growing up and still till this day was, but sometimes she was just so over bearing. When told his parents that he wanted to be a cop and was going to go to the Police Academy, they both almost had a heart attack, especially his mother. They didn't want him to get hurt, which was understanding, but no matter how they treated him like a baby he wasn't. He was twenty-six for crying out loud! Eventually they got over it and were gladded to here that he was promotted to detective hoping that with the promotion came less danger.

Getting out of bed, Cameron headed straight to the bathroom. He took a shower, brushed his teeth and dressed in a simple greyish suit before he headed to the kitchen. He looked through the cabinets and refridgerator to find something to eat and found a box of cereal and a half jug of milk. He poured them both in a medium sized bowl, grabbing a spoon he dug in. Once he was done, he put the bowl and spoon in the sink and put the milk away.

Deciding that he well as leave for work now, he grabbed his keys, phone, his gun, and new detective badge and headed out his apartment door. Cameron locked up and took the stairs to the ground floor. He made his way to his blue Ford Fiesta, that his parents him a few of years ago as a birthday present, and got in.

Once, Cameron made it to the police department he made his way to his new bosses' office, after getting directions from a random officer that is. He introduced himself to the chief and sat down in a chair across from him. They were just making chit chat, about where he was from and etc, when another man walked in. He looked at the other male as he sat down next to him. "Yeah, I'm Cameron. It's nice to meet you." He introduced himself as he shook the other's hand.

Cameron looked other at the chief as the phone rang and he answered. He was suprised to hear that they had a case already. This is the Homicide divison, so of course they were going to have cases, he figured. He nodded as he stood up.'Maybe I won't have time to go to dinner tonight.' He thought, hopeful. Maybe he could get out that afterall.

Another first post that I absolutely adore <3
Carmen Emerson

Mood: Embarrased
Thinking: Oh, please.. Not again

User Image

It nine in the morning and while most kids were either playing outside or still asleep, Carmen was doing neither. She was lounging in her window seat, with her nose in a book. For her this was normal. She loved to read in the morning, and in general. She felt that it got her brain working, in preparation for whatever challenges the day might hold. Turning the page, she laughed at some clever joke that not everybody would understand. She was about to look over to the next page when she heard something outside. She looked out her window to see two U-hauls and a blue mini-van stopping at the house across the street. The house had been vacant for a few months after the previous owners, an elderly couple, moved to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Somewhere out state, she remembered being told.

Carmen was about to return to her book when she heard her mother calling her name. Sighing, she placed her bookmark in the book and left her room to go see what her mom wanted. When she got downstairs she saw her mom staring out the window being nosey, as usual. “Yeah, mom?” She asked coming closer.

Her mother turned with a huge smile on her face. “Honey, look! Someone finally moved into the old Jacobson house.” She gestured for her daughter to come take a look. Carmen obliged and gazed out the window for a moment. “Yeah, I see that. You know I don’t think we should be just standing here watching them. It’s kind of creepy, don’t you think.” She replied stepping away from the window.

“Great idea! We should go over there and welcome them to the neighborhood.” Her mother did it again. She was always reading things into what others said and she always wanting to be nosey into other people’s lives. “That’s not what I meant. We can’t. You don’t know, they might enjoy their privacy, and us barging over there while they’re trying to unpack is regardless a bad idea.” She tried to reason with her mother, even though she knew there was no point in trying.

“Nonsense! I just baked a pie. We can go over there offer it as a welcoming gift and we can even help them unpack.” Her mother retorted as she headed to the kitchen to retrieve the pie. Carmen knew there was no point of arguing the matter anymore, her mother had a set plan and she wasn’t going to take a no for an answer. “Fine…” she agreed when her mother returned to the room with the pie. “I hope they like apple.” Her mother said before they left the house to go greet the new neighbors.

Grayson bobbed his head to the radio as he parked his black Explorer in the Senior parking lot. He smiled as the 3oh!3 song, that he just happened to love, went off. Now that he was pumped with the beloved lyrics, he turned the SUV off and got out, grabbing his book bag in the process. He shut the car door and locked it. "Another boring day of school..." He muttered with a sigh. It wasn't that he didn't like going to school, he did because of the most important aspect of it: the socialization. Forget the actually classwork and learning, he could live without that, as so could most other students could.

Heading towards the front of the school, Grayson was about to enter when he heard a loud commotion. He looked around to see where it came from but saw no one around him that looked like that seemed like were about to get into a fight. 'Then where did it come from' He wondered. He tried to figure out if he sould try to find the source or just go on about his day, minding his own business. He knew what the right answer was and he knew he couldn't not just stand around doing nothing if he knew someone was in trouble. He sighed as he turned around and started walking down the sidewalk were the commotion seemed to be coming from.

>Location: Near the school<
>Mood: Suprised<

A couple of minutes later, Grayson spotted what looked like a kid dressed in all black being hassled by a bunch of bigger guys. As he got closer, he could recognize several of the bigger guys. The leader was Trevor, the school's biggest jerk and a Linebacker on the football team. Even though Trevor was a teammate of his, he never really cared for him. He always was starting trouble with people who either couldn't defend themselves or chose not to. His prime target was anyone was different and who he considered to be a freak. The other guy that Trevor had against the wall was a perfect example of who he would bully.

Sighing, Grayson walked closer as he started to slowly clap his hands to get their attention. "Bravo, Trevor. You found another person to bully." He said in a loud voice so that they all heard. He stopped and looked at the boy who was pushed against the wall then back at Trevor. "Don't you think you mess with enough people already? Why don't you just leave this one alone?" He asked as he tried to think of something that would convince the other. Glancing at boy being bullied he thought of something. "I mean look at him. He looks like you couldn't do anything worse to him than what he probably does to himself." He reasoned.

Grayson didn't mean his comment as an insult he was just trying to use reverse psychology. He learned about it in his Psychology class last week and the way the teacher talked about it, he figured it should work. That was something that no one expected of Grayson. Due to stereotyping everyone assumed that all jocks were dirt stupid. Grayson on the other hand wasn't stupid. He wasn't a genius either, but he was smart enough not to fail any of his classes and managed to get at the very lowest a C. In fact, on average he usually received Bs in most subjects. An A every once in a while in academic classes, but in electives he achieved them more frequently.

Grayson wasn't sure exactly how to respond to what Erick said. Oh.. Man, I'm sorry." He appoligized. He knew it wasn't him who literally hurt the other boy, but it was just an automatic response for him and most people, for that matter. When in doubt, say "sorry." He nodded as he walked next to Erick. "Oh okay.." He said mostly to himself.

Grayson was stunned by the blunt question. Now he truly didn't have a clue what to say. He himself was curious, but he would never just admit it to someone, especially someone he just met. It was his biggest secret. Every time he saw some two guys holding hands or kissing, he wondered how it would be to do the same. It didn't help the matter that every once in a while he found himself staring at some guy thinking that the guy was cute. The whole thing confused the crap out of him and it made him deep down want it, to be with another guy.

Shrugging the thoughts away, Grayson looked at Erick. "Uhm.. I didn't even know you were bi.." The end of his sentence lingered for a moment before he continued. "But no. It desn't." Looking into the other's eyes, he wondered. Then something changed, the other male was lurching forward. He was falling. Without hesitation, Grayson grabbed the other by the shoulders to stop him from falling. "Are you okay?" He asked again.

>Location: Near the school<
>Mood: Curious<

Hearing Erick’s answer, made Grayson smile. “I never would have figured that...” He replied. He was expecting the other liked poetry or something else that was more isolating. He knew it was stereotyping to assume that, but when it came to people he didn’t know it was hard not to judge a book by its cover. When he didn’t know people and just seen them around, he found himself making up and imagining what their lives and personalities would be like. It was something that he just really liked to do. It was also something that he would never tell anyone about, not like anyone would care but still.

Grayson’s mind was wondering so much about so many things at once that he didn’t even realize what he was about to say. Why it was a bad idea or why that he shouldn’t bring it up? But for some reason he wasn’t thinking straight. His brain wasn’t running by reason, it was running by curiosity and his filter wasn’t working correctly.

“What’s it like-” Grayson started. “Being bi?” he finished. Once the words came out, he realized what he just asked. He wished he could take it back, but he knew he couldn’t. He wondered what Erick would think of the question. Would he figure out his deepest secret and feelings that he never ever wanted to spill to anyone? Why did he even say anything? Maybe he was feeling too much at ease around the other, for some reason, that his true curiosity came out? Whatever the reason, he just hoped that he could blow it off as curiosity rather than something more.
