Okay, so superpowers were, like, reaaaaaal common way back when. Like, everyone had them.
And so then, of course, the government would want this to be used to their advantage, right? So they put these superpowered people into their service. They act as the police, armed forces, for the US government.
But then, years go by and the government continually treats them unjustly and harshly; they're nothing more than playthings for the government to use, secret spies who take the fall when things go bad. People to blame when everything goes wrong.
So the superpowered people begin to fight back and fight to overthrow the government. Or at least be treated fairly.
But the government uses it to their favor; they were thinking the superpowered people were getting too strong. So they cast them as the villains and tell the people that these people are freaks and are looking to control the government.
So what happens is the people shun these superpowered people (goddamn I need to give them a name) when they used to protect them and the only way to be accepted is to hide themselves - thus, secret identities.
(god this preplot is sounding like the Incredibles)
The government still employs and sponsors these superpowered people, though, but mostly in secret and force them to have secret identities.

Application for this RP is actually really easy! Send an application to either SiLENT xx m a s q u e or KiD IC4RUS. We'll deliberate and try to get back to you as soon as possible! And then you just fill out the profile code and put the profile up in the profile thread. It really is quite easy! There is no real form you need to fill out. All you really need is to put the title of the roleplay for the title of your PM and tell me about yourself a little. Mostly nicknames, how often you're on, maybe why you're interested even! The second part of the PM should be all about your character and their powers. Maybe where you decide to head with them background and personality-wise. Anything that you think will help us get a good idea of where you want to head with your character and that you think will make us like him/her. The third part should be samples. Although if either Kid or I have RPed with you before, you likely won't need it.

As you could see, the profile is blank besides a picture and quote. You literally can do whatever you want with the profile. It'll mostly be just a blurb, actually.. we don't need anything long. If you want specifications, I would at least like an explanation for your character's codename. Heck, you don't even need their /real/ name. Just lay it down for me- or even copy and paste your application, whatever! If Ream and I have looked the application over, we accepted you for a reason.

The biggest public school of this cyberpunk alternate of Washington DC. It is a crowded, large school
that has expanded over the ages to accommodate more people and where everyone under 18 should
attend in this roleplay, excluding NPCs. It's currently competing with Oxford's excellency but can't
seem to one-up that relic of a school.

The entrance to the underground is under a secluded portion of the forest where a river runs beside
the city. It used to be a canal way for small boats until the city moved elsewhere and left it to abandon
in moss. From the outside it looks like a creepy sewer route, so most people don't bother. If you were
to wander inside, there wouldn't be anything either- just a brick wall. Though, what's behind that brick
wall.. You'll need a password and certain "knock pattern" to enter the Underground entrance.

Where the Underground obviously has its operations. It is big enough to be about as large as a school
facility underneath the dirt with a good filtering system for the water so none of it floods the place.
There aren't many rebels, but the size is mostly for luxury and to store all the s**t they need to live
down there. The leader created the place herself with her powers and her name is SANDSHREW.
Yeah, she has a thing for these old cartoon creatures called Pokemon and it's kind of lame but her crew
doesn't really care too much.

▼ UNDERGROUND;　Anti-government group composed of the superpowered people who were rejected and had to live their lives in secret because of what the government had done. Name had started back during the first time they tried to resolve things with the government, but failed. While originally started as reforming the government to change things for the better, it's now turned into an anti-government organization that is bent on taking it down and install superhumans in charge.
