Gray was shaking as he sat on the arm of the chair, his face in his hands. He had never hit Fredy that bad before, especially over such a little thing. What was wrong with him? How could he do that to the boy? Gray stood up and went over to the poor kid on the floor. He knelt next to him and looked at him for a moment. He wiped the blood from Freddy's mouth before gently picking him up. The male's arm hung at a weird angle and Gray grimaced, knowing that it was broken. Freddy gripped his stomach, even unconsouse, and silently wondered why. Could he carry the boy out without being seen? He would just have to hope so because Frederick needed to go to a hospital. 'You better hope he's not seriously hurt. He's going to leave you know. He'll never stay with you after this. Look what you've done...' Thoughts like those circled through his mind as he shakily took the smaller boy out of the arpartment. He hurried to his car and got Freddy in the backseat without being seen. He dug in his pocket for the keys and sighed when he realized they were still inside. He ran back into the apartment and grabbed the key before running back and hopping into the driver's seat. He didn't know how late it had gotten since it seemed like they had just walked back into the apartment. He guessed they were in there longer than he had thought. The streets that were quiet seemed to buzz with people and blaim. He felt like everyone on the street knew what he did, the all saw and they all were shouting accusations his way.
As he sped off he pulled out his cell phone and dialed a number, someone who he could trust. "Hello?" It was Kayleb answering, his tone sounded like he just woke up from a nap. "Kay?" Gray's voice was the same cool, calm tone but underneith it was fear and worry. "Gray? What's wrong?" He was nervous now, like he knew the answer and was afraid he was right. Cameron didn't answer quickly, he made a sharp turn and sped through a stop sign, glancing in his rearveiw mirror every so often to chack and Freddy and to look for cops. "It's all my fault Kayleb, but I got so anger! He should have said anything..." Gray mumbled into the phone, wondering to himself why this drive was taking so long. "What happened Cameron?Who did you hit..." Kayleb trailed off but started to speak again before Gray could answer, "You hit Freddy didn't you?" The statement suprised Gray and he stayed silent. He had told Kayleb before Fred and hisself started dating tha he was afraid he would hurt the boy, and now he had. Well he had so many times before but now... Now was diffrent. This was the first time he felt so horrible and, well alone really. "I'm sorry Kayleb... I have to go." He didn't wait for a reply, he just hung up the phone and dropped it into his lap. The hospital was close now, he could see it but he still didn't know what to tell them. What could he say? Certainly not the truth! He guessed just make it up as he went along.
Gray pulled into the hospital and parked quickly. He jumped out of the car and scoop up Freddy, running into the emergancy room area. A nurse who was standing there looked in his direction and quickly ushered him to over. A docter near by came and took Freddy out of his arms and into a close room, leaving Gray standing there by himself. He sat down in a chair and stared down at his hands, like he had on the ride. He hoped Freddy was okay. How was he supposed to live without him? He knew it sounded cheesy and really unlike him, but it was true. If it was his fault that something terrible happened to Freddy, he wouldn't be able to live with himself. Hours seem to pass and no one came out to talk to him, each minute taking excertiating time to pass. "Gray!" The male's head shot up and he spotted Kayleb walking over to him, a worried look on his face. "Are you alright?" Gray couldn't answer, he just shook his head and sighed. Kayleb sat down in the chair next to him and gently rubbed his back, trying to tell him that it was alright and Freddy would be fine. Cameron didn't believe a word of it and he doubted his friend did either. Kay knew what he was capable of when he was angry and it was not pretty. They sat in silence for what seemed like years until a nurse ran over to them. She was a pretty blonde, but she looked tired and ready to go home. "Are you the one who brought in the boy?" She asked, looking down at Gray. He nodded and told her Frederick's name, which she wrote down on the clipboard she had. She started spouting off questions about Freddy's medial history and background and Gray answered all that he could. When she was finished she left again and Gray leant back in his chair.
Gray slipped in and out of a restless, dreamless sleep for a while, his head leaning on Kay's shoulder. When he woke up he heard Kay snoring softly. How long had he been here? How long could this take? Was Freddy hurt that badly? Questions swarmed his mind like angry bees, but he tried to push them away. Freddy was fine, they were just making sure. As he closed his eyes again he heard a man clear his throat in front of him. Gray opened his eyes and looked up at the doctor. He stood up and shook the man's hand, waiting for him to tell him the news. "Mr. Morrison was injured pretty badly. His arm was broken and he had a few fractured ribs. He's unconcious now, but he's stable." Gray gave a sigh of relief and ran a hand through his hair, not expecting what was to be said next. "Both of the babies are alright too, though we're a little concerned about one of them." The doctor said. "Oh thank god they're... What?" Gray stared at the man as though he was insane, expecting him to start laughing and say he was joking. "Mr. Morrison is pregnant with twins. We're not sure how, but both babies have been devoloping okay." The doctor told Cameron, who shook his head. The doctor told him to follow him and led the young man to Freddy's room. His eyes were closed and he looked so pale. Cameron went over to his and gently stroked his hair, not paying attention to the doctor. "Mr. Harris. Look." Gray looked up at the screen in the room, staring at the image he saw. It was true, Freddy was pregnant. Gray sat down in the chair next to Freddy's bed and placed his head in his hands. It all made sense now, why he didn't want to go on the Roller Coaster and why he was gripping his stomach. Gray felt sick but he didn't move. The doctor told him something but he just shook his head and heard the man walk out, shutting the door behind him. He had said the were concerned for one of the kids. What was wrong with it? Was it his fault? This was quickly becoming the worst day of his life and he just wanted to go home. He wasn't leaving though, until Freddy woke up.

Gray sat silently in the room, trying to prosses what had happened that day. It had started out so well, then Gray had to go and get pissed off over nothing. He ruined everything, he always did. Now he had to tell his father that he was gay and that he got a guy pregnant. Man, he was going to be disowned for sure. How he was he going to break the news to him? He guessed he should just be up front about it like when he told his mother. Gray was slowly drifting to sleep listening to the soothing sound of Freddy's heart moniter when he door burst open. A young male ran in and over to Freddy, and Gray guessed it was that Sam kid that Freddy always talked about. Wow that kid looked like he had dressed himelf in the dark, hell maybe he did. Speaking of dark Gray wondered what time it was, but before he could check Sam started accusing him of hurting Freddy. "I didn't do anything!" Gray snapped, glaring at the boy in front of him. He would have said something else but at that moment Freddy groaned and opened his eyes. Gray let out another sigh of relief and watched the boy closely. His normally emotionless eyes were filled with concern and relief as he leaned forward in his chair to exaimin the boy more closely.
Sam asked whet was wrong with Freddy and the boy gave a fake answer. So he guessed being mugged was the story that they had to stick to. That was fine with Gray as long as he didn't have to tell anyone that he was the one who hurt the boy. He held his boyfriend's hand gently, rubbing the top softly with his thumb. When he sent Sam out Gray rose an eyebrow but didn't move, wondering what he was going to say. He braced himself for being dumped but the words that came out of Freddy's mouth were nothing like he expected. He wanted Gray not to be mad? Freddy just got the s**t beat out of him and he thought Gray was mad? "I'm not mad Freddy." Gray told the boy softly, knowing how hard it must have been to tell him that. He felt sorry for the boy and what he had to endur, trying to think of what it was like. "Listen Freddy I'm so sorry. I know it’s probably my fault that one of the babies is in trouble. I'm sorry. To tell you the truth, I've never wanted kids, but..." Gray trailed off as he watched Freddy try to move closer to him. Gray stood up and crawled into the bed next to Freddy carefully, making sure he didn't hurt or mess anything up. He lay their for a moment before getting up again. "I need a cigarette." He mumbled, stroking Freddy's hair before walking out.
Gray didn't look at Sam as he passed him in the hall, or at Kay who was still sitting in the waiting room. He went right outside and sat down, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it. A cold air blew past him and he shivered softly. He took a deep drag and held the smoke in for a moment before blowing it out through his nose. "Cameron dear!" Gray looked up at Freddy's mother who hurried over to him. "How's Freddy?" She asked, stopping a ways away from him when she saw his cigarette. He tapped off the ashes from the end and stood up, "He's awake now if you want to go talk to him." Gray said, motioning to the door. She thanked him and walked inside, Freddy's father in tow. Gray sat back down and continued to smoke silently, looking up when he heard a familiar voice calling his name. He was suprised to see his parents walking his way and he dropped his cigarette. He crushed it with his toe before standing up and walking over. "Fred's mother called me! Are you alright dear?" Grays mother asked, hugging her son tightly. "I'm alright." Cameron reassured her, pulling away gently. He looked over at his father, who was waiting for his hello. "Good evening sir." Gray mumbled. His father gave a nod and his mother started bombarded him with questions about Freddy.
"He'll be okay, but... There's something I have to tell you..." Gray took a deep breath as his parents waited to hear what he said. "Well son, get on with it." His father snapped and Gray guessed that was where he got his additude from. "I got Freddy pregnant." The words were spit out quickly and they kind of sounded bundled together but both got what he said. They stared at him like he was crazy and his mother stepped forward. She placed a had on his forhead before drawing it back. "Hon you're warm. Let's go sit down." Gray rolled his eyes and shook his head, "I don't have a fever I'm telling you the truth! Go ask the doctor." His father stepped forward and loomed over his son. "Don't talk to your mother that way!" He snapped and Gray nodded. He guessed this was how Freddy felt when he yelled at him. His father walked passed him, his mother following quickly and Gray sighed. He waited for a moment before going back inside too, walking back to Freddy's room. His father was standing in the coner with Freddy's talking quietly to him. Both mother's were hanging over the injured boy and Gray noticed the picture of the babies were up on the screen again. He bit his lip and walked in, his father looking over at him for a moment. Gray walked over to Freddy and sat on the bed, taking his hand softly. He wondered if Freddy had told his own father yet, he assumed so by the way the two were glancing over and talking. He felt like he was being exaimined by a bunch of gossiping girls.

Everything seemed to be happening so fast. He had just sat down when the doctor walked in and started spouting out problems. Everyone but his parents and him were talking and Gray seemed to be blocking everything out. He sat and stared blankly ahead of him, not wanting to hear what could go wrong. When Mr. Morrison started talking Gray flinched a little. He reminded him of his own father, who was probably going to start something soon. Cameron glanced down at Freddy when he asked if he would stay and he gave a small nod. He gave a sideways glance at Mr. Morrison when he left and knew that his father's outburst would be next. Of course he was right, as soon as the doctor left Mr. Harris sighed loudly. "Nicolas, don't." His mother whispered angerly, but his father didn't pay any mind to her. "I think Morrison knows what he's talking about. My boy is still a boy! There is no way he'll be able to take care of children." He said, looking at Gray, who stared blankly back. "Nicolas hush!" She warned, but he jus gave her a small glare. "You know I'm right Anna! He's too young to have children! He can't raise a child right!" Harris exclaimed, shocked when Gray suddenly stood up. "You know what dad? You can hate me for being gay or for getting a guy pregnant, but you are not going to stand here and tell me I can't raise my family. You have no idea if I can be a good father or not!" Gray snapped angrly, stepping towards his father. "Boys, please don't. We've all had a long day. Freddy doesn't need this." Anna begged, not wanting to see her husband and son fight.
This wasn't the first time of course. Both of them had argued many times before, once ending with Nicolas lashing out and end up hitting Gray. They had silently apologized though and never spoke of the moment again, but Anna always seemed to think about it when the two fought. She stood with one hand on her hip and the other on Freddy's shoulder "Don't you dare talk to me like that boy! I am your father and I know what's good for you!" Nicolas glared at his son as though daring him to talk back. "You had your chance to raise your kids and now its my turn. They're my kids and me and Freddy are going to raise them the way we feel is best!" Anna sighed and ran a hand through her hair before sinking into the seat where Gray had been. "If you two are going to fight take it outside!" She ordered. Gray glanced back at her and turned on his heels, heading to the door. When he passed by Freddy he looked over at his boyfriend and gave him an odd look. It wasn't really recgonizable, especially from Gray, but it almost said that he was sorry for this. When he left his father stood quietly for a moment before following after him, Anna sighing loudly and looking up at Freddy's mother. "We'll be right back." Anna said with a smile, gently giving Fred's uninjured arm a squeeze. She stood up and both women left.
They walked back in not too long later, Gray and his father in tow. Gray was shaking again, like he usually did after he hit Freddy. He sat down next to his boyfriend but didn't look over at him. Cameron's father looked over at Fred and his look seemed to soften, as though he felt sorry for the boy. "Come on Anna. Let's go home. Feel better." The las bit was directed at Freddy before he took Anna's hand and pulled her out of the room. She blew a kiss to the two boys’ but Gray's father didn't say a word to his son. They were left alone with Freddy's mom, who said she had to get home to make dinner. She told them that she would be back tomorrow and gave each boy a kiss on the forhead. When she left Gray let out a sad sounding sigh and crawled into he bed with Freddy again. He moved close but made sure he didn't hurt the boy. He placed a hand on Freddy's stomach while the other gently played with the boy's hair. "I'm sorry Freddy." He whispered softly. He closed his eyes and yawned cutely, slowly stopping messing with Freddy's hair. "I love you Freddy." His words were soft, almost inaudible but he had said it. Soon after he was snoring quietly.

He was cold and shaking, that's probably what woke him up. He didn't want to but he opened his eyes slowly and looked around, wondering for a moment where he was. When he looked over at the sleeping boy next to him everything flooded back from yesterday. It seemed like years ago when they went to the Amusment Park, but, in truth, it was only the day before. He gently slid out of bed, making sure not to wake the boy lying next to him. He stretched and yawned silently before looking around again. What time was it? It seemed kind of quiet ut in the hallway so it was probably still early. The male took one more look at the boy sleeping in the hospital bed before slidding out o the room without making a sound. He was looking for a clock or someone witha watch or something. You see, he had big plans for today, he mulling over them all night, and he wanted to make sure that it was still early enough so he could make everything perfect. He wanted to make sure that this was going to be great, that everything was going to be perfect. Well, he knew that nothing was perfect but that didn't mean that he could try.
"Excuse me sir, do you need any help?" A young male nurse asked, approaching Gray as though maybe he had some disease that he didn't want to catch. "What time is it?" Gray asked, not bothering with the fact that the nurse still seemed to think he was sick. "It's four in the morning. Are you checked into the hospital?" The nurse seemed more relaxed now, like he had some how coming to the conclusion that Gray didn't have anything really serious. Gray shook his head and told him that his boyfriend was in a near by room. The nurse seemed suprised, then got a look that said that he want to ask Gray something. Gray lifted and eyebrow as though asking him what he wanted. "Uhm, are you the guy that got his boyfriend pregnant?" The male asked. Wow, things sure do spread around quickly don't they? Gray thought that Hospitals were supposed to keep your information private, but then again he was probably thing of theripy. "Yes. Now then, I have some things to attend to." Gray stated simply before walking away from the confused looking male.
Gray left the hospital, actually leaving a note for Freddy this time. It wasn't a very detailed note, but it was one all the same. It read; 'Freddy, I'm goning out for a while. See you whenever I get back. Gray.' He left nothing to hint about where he was going and that's the way he wanted it. He wanted everything to be a suprise. He nervously drummed on his steering wheel and he drove toward his destination. A lot of things were going through his head, but he was determind to do this. His stomach seemed to be throwing its self around, but there was no way he was going to let nerves distract him from what he was planning to do. Everything was going to be perfect and Freddy was going to love it. Well, at least Gray hoped he would. Of course he was going to! There was no way he couldn't! What Gray was planning to do would shock him and, hopefully, make him the happiest guy in that hospital. Gray turned a corner and took a deep breath as his destination came into sight. Alright, this was the easiest part, after this everything would get harder. Gray pulled into the parking lot and found an empty space, getting out of the car and walking into the store.
He was greated by the sound of people and the smell of sented candles and metal. Not the best combination but whatever. Not like that really mattered anyway. Gray approached the counter, getting the attention of a bubbly young lady, who smiled happily. "Welcome! Can I help you find anything?" She asked warmly in a high voice. She kind pissed Gray off, she was a little too bubbly, but he just nodded. "Yeah, I'm looking for a gold band." He said and the woman nodded. She took him over to a case that had a lot of fancy, expensive choices. Gray bit his lip as he looked at all of them. He was hoping for a less expensive, plain gold band. "Do have anything... less expensive?" Gray asked the girl in a soft tone. He wished he could afford something fancy, but he had what he had and that was it. "Sure. You know woman perfer diamonds more than just gold bands." The lady informed him and Gray rolled his eyes. Of course she would assume that he was to be a female a ring, most men are. "Yeah I know, but I'm here for my boyfriend." Gray told her as he followed her to another case of rings. "Oh. Well I'm sure he'll be happy wth one of these." She said a little embarressed as she pointed at the rings. He scanned them before pointing at one and asking if he could get that one. "Uhm, can engrave something into it?" He asked as she got him the ring. "Sure! It'll cost a little extra and it will take a little while." She said with a smile. "That's fine." Gray mumbled, following her to the counter. He watched her grab a pen and a piece of paper, asking him what he wanted in it.
Gray was suprised at how long that had taken him. He had left at five, gotten there at around five thirty, and now it was almost eight! He hoped that Freddy was in a good mood today, but he had no worries about that. Freddy was always in a good mood. Gray climbed back into the car and started the half-hour drive back to the hospital. It didn't seem that long, but maybe it was because of his nerves. You know, when you want something to take a long time because you’re nervous but it just seems to make time go faster? Yeah that's what happened with Gray. He spotted his father's car in the parking lot and sighed, but he wasn't detered from his plans. He pulled into a parking space, noticing Freddy's parent's car too. Whatever, the more the merrier, as the saying goes. Gray got out of the car and headed into the hospital, going straight into Freddy's room. His mother looked over st the door and smiled happily at her son, standing up from the chair Gray usually sat in. "There you are honey! We were all wondering where you went!" His mother said, hugging Gray. He hugged her back before going over to Freddy's bed and sitting down. As he opened his mouth to speak the door opened again and in walked Kay. He smiled at Gray and Freddy before sliding further into the room and shutting the door. Gray sighed and waited for a moment, seeing if anyone else was going to come in. When the door didn't open again he looked over at Freddy and took a deep breath. The room seemed to get quiet as they waited for him to speak.
He didn't know how to start. How to put what he wanted to say in real sentences. To him, he seemed to be taking forever to speak but maybe to everyone else he wasn't. "Freddy... Uhm, this is really hard for me to say..." Great way to start out buddy, now it sounds like your going to break up with him! "You have changed my life, and definatly for the better. We've been through a lot already and to me that shows that we can manage to handle anything together." He trailed off, silence inveloping the room. "What I'm trying to say is..." Gray slid off the bed and onto his knee, staring up at Freddy as he pulled out the little box he had hidden. He opened it to reveal the ring he had purchased with the engraving 'No matter what, I'll always love you.' "Freddy, will you marry me?" He heard gasps around the room, their mother's letting out small 'aw's. He heard his father's shocked gasps and waited for him to speak up and reject what was happening, but not a word left his mouth. He seemed to suprised to speak. Kay was in the back of the room, biting his lip. You see he always hoped that maybe the two would brake up and he might have a chance with Gray, but that seemed to slip away right in front of him. He slipped out of the room with a small sigh and went into the hallway. Yesterday Sam, Freddy's friend, had asked him out but he had said no, hoping he still had a change with his childhood crush. He sighed again and sat down on a flight a stairs, buring his head in his arms.
