MATTHEW ALEXANDER WILLIAMSdance
he likes his sister a bit more than he should.dancedance

- - - hey there b e a u t i f u l !

Hearing the sudden buzz of an alarm clock fill his room, Matthew groaned loudly before shuffling underneath the covers. Shoving the head over his ears, the male was frustrated when the sound of the alarm still rang out, loud and clear. Finally giving up and slamming his hand on the off button, he really didn’t feel like getting up. Mornings were never his thing, and everyone who knew him would agree. Though, he did happen to have a reason for getting up in the morning now. Lane might have been his sister, but he felt a strange pull towards the other girl. It was like the world was trying to tell him they actually belonged together - perhaps more than the brother-sister relationship they had. Sadly, he doubted anything more would happen between them.

Still, Matthew always held that same hope in his chest that something would unfold. As strange as it might be, he wouldn’t mind a relationship with his sister. Messing with the piercing that was settled on the bridge of his nose. Moving the small bar a bit, Matthew winced when the pain shot through his face. The piercing happened to be a bit new, but he was gradually getting use to it. Thankfully it didn’t hurt as bad as the snake bites nestled below his lips. Managing to hoist himself out of the bed, Matthew didn’t really mind the fake that he only slept with his boxers on. Then again, he didn’t really share his room like some siblings were forced to do.

Hearing a door slam from somewhere downstairs, Matthew could only guess that his parents had managed to get into another fight. There was no doubt that both of his parents were outside screaming at each other or getting into their cars to visit their friends. It was the usual thing around the household, but he couldn’t really say he enjoyed the fights. Sure, he managed to snag more time with his sister, but the fights were tearing their family apart. Fortunately, Matthew managed to hook his thoughts on a different subject when he managed to slip into his bathroom. Wetting the toothbrush and squeezing a small amount of toothpaste on it, the male brushed his teeth vigorously before spitting out into the sink. Running a comb through his tousled hair, Matthew managed to look decent but decided against changing into pajamas.

Matthew knew his sister wouldn’t mind seeing him in only his boxers. He practically walked around half-naked on the weekends anyway. On top of that, he was the one who had the feelings for her , and he doubted she returned the feelings. He was actually the one that had given up dating because of his little crush on Lane. Unfortunately, she had just pulled out of a rotten relationship that made anger bubble up inside of Matthew. Why had her ex-boyfriend cheated on her? Well, he wasn’t exactly sure, but he hoped that it never happened to her again. Attempting to calm his nerves down, Matthew grabbed his ipod from his bedside table before slipping the ear buds in. Clicking shuffle, he danced his way into the hallway before pausing at Lane’s room.

A devious smile lit up Matthew’s face as he shoved the ipod into his pocket. Rapping on the door lightly, he prayed that she wasn’t doing anything that might involved getting dressed or undressed. Something like that wouldn’t be very good for his sudden feelings towards Lane. Pushing the door open a crack, he was startled to see that the girl’s bed was actually empty. Puzzlement replaced the smile as he closed the door and pivoted towards the stairs. Slowly descending a step at the side, he looked into the living room, expecting to see his younger sibling. When he still didn’t see her, Matthew slightly wondered if maybe his family had left him to go somewhere. “Laney! You here?” Calling out towards the other, the puzzled expression remained on his face when he finally made it into the living room. Pursing his lips, the male pondered where they could be until he heard shuffling in the kitchen.

Cocking his head, Matthew made his way through the living room before halting at the threshold of the kitchen. Leaning against the door frame for a moment, he studied his sister’s figure while the emotions played across his nerves. Finally moving from his rooted spot, the boy rushed over towards the girl and wrapped his arms around her waist. Lifting her up in the air for a moment, Matthew let her feet touch the ground with a deep laugh that filled the silence. “Hey there, Lane. What’s up besides the usual?” By now the ear buds had fallen out and were dangling from his pocket. Sending the girl a goofy grin, he moved towards the refrigerator for some of the orange juice and milk for his cereal. “Where’d mom and dad go?” Pulling out the carton of milk, a flicker of disappointment crossed his face when he realized they had run out of orange juice.

Setting down the carton, Matthew pushed his way past Lane towards the cabinet that contained the bowls. Waiting for Lane’s reply always made him feel anxious, but he didn’t know exactly why. It was something about her actually speaking to him that made his stomach rumbled with an anxious feeling deep in his stomach. Running his finger through his hair, Matthew bit his lip gently before taking out a spoon from the drawer.

                                                  ooc;
short && shitty && sorry for the godmodding D:

Karen could see the glee on the students’ faces when they read that they had a free day. Truthfully, the teacher wasn’t too fond of Mondays. That happened to be the only reason she even decided on giving the kids a free day. Plus, her head was killing her which could only be cured by a relaxing message or a nap. Considering that she was at her job, she doubted either one of those would happen until later that day. Maybe she could convince Kelley or Connor to give her one? Brushing aside a loose strand of hair, Karen wandered back over towards her desk. “Hope you had a good weekend. Consider this a small present.” She murmured lightly to them before waving towards the students with her hand. Finally settling down in the chair, she leaned back a bit and relaxed while the kids settled into whispering voices.

Mondays were never something that Karen had been excited about. It just meant another week of hell or something similar to that. Fortunately she had a couple people in her life that actually made work bearable. Pulling the ponytail out of her hair, she let the curls tumble out onto her shoulders as she rubbed her forehead for a moment. Resting her head against her arms, Karen wasn’t too surprised to hear the students snickering at something in the hallway. Pulling her head up, the woman caught sight of Conner picking himself up off the ground. Scattering around a couple of her papers, Karen pushed herself out of the chair to help the other teacher up. Unfortunately when she managed to make it to the door, Conner had already picked up his stuff and headed into a different direction. Finding a paper wedged by the lockers, she bent down and casually picked it up, glad to find a reason to actually visit him later that day.

When the bell shattered her thoughts, Karen made her way back into her classroom, trying not to get ran over by her students. As the next classed filed into the classroom, she couldn’t help but frown at how slow the day seemed to be going by. Looking at the clock only managed to cause the hand to tick slowly like it wasn’t meant to speed up an inch or so. Rolling her eyes, she settled back into her desk before taking out a red pen along with the test her students took the other day. Shuffling around the objects on her desk, she took a small sip of the coffee beside her pen holder before pulling out her grader and the test’s answer key. Grading papers happened to be just as boring as watching the students take their test - except she was the only drowning in concentration.

Feeling her frustration set in, Karen shot a glare at a couple of her louder students before glancing over at the clock. Seeing a couple students follow her gaze, she was sure they guessed she wanted to get out just as bad as they did. Unfortunately, it wasn’t even time for her lunch break yet. Prying her eyes from the clock, she managed to marked a few answers before circling the grade she put on the paper. Doing that to a couple more papers, she set them to the side before nodding towards her students to quiet down. “Don’t get too loud. I’ll be back in a moment.” Instead of waiting for a reply, she exited her classroom with a quick wave towards her pupils. Deciding to give Connor his paper later, Karen chose to see Kelley for the first time that day. True guilt was eating at her insides, but she knew that she could keep the secret in for a little while. It wasn't the only secret she kept from Kelley.

Arriving at her girlfriend’s classroom, she rapped lightly on the door before entering the area. “Sorry to interrupt you, Miss Dickerson. But do you mind if I talk to you alone for a moment?” Putting a bit of emphasis on the last part, Karen bit her lip lightly before pivoting on her heel. Walking outside, she leaned against the wall beside her girlfriend’s door. Waiting was never something she was good at but when it came to her girlfriend or something important. Other than that, she refused to wait for something due to the fact that it made her nervous. Though, a lot of the times she didn’t bother waiting for things and often walked off. Maybe that was why her students considered her a bit strict? It was a given that she could be a bit stubborn when it came to graded stuff, but she didn’t really consider herself hard. Actually, her class had to be one of the easiest ones in the school.

- - - hey there b e a u t i f u l !

Matthew wasn’t really sure, but he was positive his parents knew something was going on with him and his feelings towards Lane. When they first started fighting, he had overheard them yelling about him. Of course, the yelling was soon muffled when they realized that he was outside of the door. How did they knew? Being the dumb teenager he was, he had stepped on a squeaky board and nearly fell out on the ground. It was bizarre to think his parents knew about his feelings towards Lane, but it was some sort of comfort. As disgusting as it sounded, Laney was beautiful, and he couldn’t ignore that. If his parents didn’t accept that, well, he wasn’t really sure what to do. In a couple of months, Matt knew he would be able to get out and get a job. If that happened, he was definitely renting out an apartment.

Matthew already had his future planned out, and he intended on keeping close to his sister. As long as they were somewhat close, he was fine with not having anything more than that. Plus, it was a bit strange to be in a relationship with your sibling. If Lane returned any sort of feelings, Matt was sure it was just sisterly. As for his feelings, he wasn’t quite sure he should speak about them. Glancing over at his sister, Matt felt as if his breath was being pushed out of his chest. Snapping a mental picture of Lane, he managed to catch his breath as he turned his head away from her. After taking out the spoon, he reached up and grabbed a bowl for his breakfast cereal. Shivering lightly due to the chill beneath his feet, Matt suddenly wished that the kitchen was carpeted like the rest of the house. Instead, it was tiled like the entrance into their house. Before his parents had started fighting, they actually agreed on tiling the entrance by the front door and the kitchen while they settled with carpeting the rest besides the bathrooms. It could get irritating at times.

The only reason Matthew found it irritating was because of the chill he experienced when going to the bathroom or fixing breakfast. The tile always chilled his feet and made them numb with coldness. Scowling at the thought, he was glad that he had his back to Lane. If she had seen his expression, she might have thought he was aiming the scowl towards her. Hearing her voice, a genuine smile settled on his lips as he ran his fingers through his locks of hair. Setting the bowl down as he listened to Lane talk, he wasn’t too surprised she just answered her usual statement. “Oh c’mon. I don’t get a ‘oh I’m doing great, Matt.’ That would be different for once.” Teasing his sister lightly, Matt couldn’t help but chuckle at his statement before going back to what he had been doing earlier. Still disappointed they didn’t have any orange juice, he knew he would probably end up stopping by the store later that day - especially if his parents didn’t get back home. He knew they wouldn’t stay out all night with them at the house, but his parents had been known for their surprised. He wouldn’t really doubt it if they didn’t come home until tomorrow.

Matthew knew his parents were mostly likely pissed off at each other. Either that or they were mad about his feelings towards Lane. It wasn’t natural, but he wasn’t really concerned with what was natural and what wasn’t. He had feelings towards his sister, was that so bad? Wasn’t love suppose to be with the one you actually appreciated? Pondering it for a moment, he did remember that love and sex were suppose to be with the one you loved. Though, Kayla had managed to get him into bed a couple of times. It wasn’t really his fault, it was more of his hormones that managed to get to him. As for Kayla, she was just some whore he had wasted two years of his life with before giving up dating all together. It wasn’t like that had been his only long-lasting relationship, but it had been the only one that ended up with someone cheating. The others just seemed to drift apart and convince both parties that it wasn’t worth it. Why did all of his relationships end so quickly? Well, at least they were quick to Matt, but he knew that lasted a good month or so - except for a handful.

When she began to explain where their parents rushed off to, Matthew nodded slowly. “I thought that was them. But then again, it could have been you going out somewhere,” Pausing for a moment, the boy finally managed to pour some milk into the bowl while emptying the last of the cereal. Making his way over towards the kitchen table, he took a seat facing Lane and her all of her shining beauty. “I didn’t know for sure.” He added with a careless shrug as he dug the spoon into the bowl of cereal. Keeping his emotions in check, he pointed his spoon at her shirt with a teasing grin. “Hey genius, you’ve got a little something right there.” Of course he was teasing but that was what brothers were for. They picked on their little siblings but also threatened to beat the crap out of anyone who wanted to gang up on their sibling.

Hearing her next question, Matthew’s blue eyes widened with mischief as he shrugged again. Chewing on the cereal thoughtfully, the male was pretty sure he was up for anything that day that involved being around Lane. Of course, he knew it was practically impossible if his parents knew about his feelings towards her. If they did, he bet they would keep them apart as far as they possibly could. “Sleep, sleep, oh, and more sleep. Maybe a few video games thrown in along with a trip to the store.” That was his usual routine on the weekends. School was a drag, which often led to the male sleeping as much as he possible could on the weekends. “But hey, you’re welcome to join me.”

                                                  ooc;

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxyes she`s one unique person
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxthat`s why she`s my girlfriend
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxgot a problem with it?

Kristian was pretty pissed off about having to go to school tomorrow. The more she thought about her chances of seeing Tabitha, the more the opportunities began to fade. Then again, she could always be late to her own classes trying to get an extra minute or so with Tabitha. It would be possibly, but she knew her dad would be pretty irritated with her continuously being later. If she had to, Kristian would just use her infamous excuse of having to use the bathroom or walking her girlfriend to class. Using the latter would be risky because he would definitely grill her about who the girl was which would be hard to explain. She was pretty sure she could randomly name someone or con one of her friends into being her ‘girlfriend’. Though, she wasn’t quite sure that her girlfriend would enjoy that little idea. That was only for when they ran out of excuses, and she doubted that would happen. Pondering the thought for a moment, she wasn’t quite sure what excuse to use with her teacher if she was late several times. Maybe she could go with the bathroom excuse? Teachers never appreciated it if someone was late to their class over a girlfriend or boyfriend.

Hearing the other whine her reply, Kristian did her best to keep her eyes from rolling at her friend. “Okay, Tabs. Let’s go with that.” She told the other with a taunting smirk on her face. Truthfully, she knew the other just didn’t want to admit up to it. She understood completely when it came to not admitting defeat. She always had that problem occasionally, but her dad always managed to squeeze out the truth. He was like an anaconda when it came to slowly crushing her to death by embarrassing her. Kristian didn’t bother hiding much from her father, but he wasn’t one of those fathers that constantly pressed about who she was dating or things like that. It just wasn’t his place, and he knew she would discuss it with him if she felt up for it. As for the relationship she happened to be in, she doubted that she would even bother to explain it to anyone. Not only was the relationship complicated, but she doubted anyone would care enough to listen to her feelings about the other girl.

Suddenly detecting the amused tone in Tabitha’s voice, Kristian grinned while nodding slowly at what she had said. “Some very screwy fears. I’ll hold your hand next doctor appointment if you promise to kill the spiders around here.” It seemed better to throw in her own fear rather than teasing her girlfriend about needles and doctor appointments. If it counted, she didn’t really care much for doctors with needles, but she managed to live through it. Maybe Tabitha was like one of those kids trying to get away from the doctor? Keeping a straight face was hard - especially when the scenario popped into her head. She could practically picture the teenager scrambling to get away from the doctor with the sterile needle. Kristian couldn’t help but let a smirk replaced the laughter that threatened to burst from her chest. Dropping the subject of her spider incident, she knew it was a bit rash that she knocked over a television, but she had been in a rush to get away from the deadly creature. Any creature with more than for legs just seemed abnormal to Kristian. They were the closest things to aliens than she had ever seen. Then again, she didn’t really believe in the who paranormal stuff. Scary movies and ghost stories were just those she enjoyed on occasions, but she didn’t believe those things.

Ghosts were just something that she considered a fairytale like most things in the world. If Kristian couldn’t see it, she didn’t believe it. That was the whole reason she preferred not to go to church. She did believe there was someone watching over the world, but she refused to believe he stood there with a book, marking down every sin you committed throughout your life. She just didn’t get into all of those things. Though, if you were to ask her about religion, she would simply ignore you. Kristian didn’t bother labeling what her religion was, but she did believe some of the things they spoke about. Sex after marriage was the only thing she really agreed with. To her, she believed that sex should be kept for the one you loved. That was the whole reason she tried to keep her hormones from running too wild around Tabitha. She wasn’t sure how long the relationship would last, but she had a feeling it would last quite a while. Still, she doubted they would even make it to, well, the bed. Just thinking about it made Kristian a bit uncomfortable, but she knew that sooner or later her hormones might get the best of her. Being caught up in the moment could lead to several things that she tried to refrain from.

Tabitha’s voice pulled her out of her thoughts as she turned her eyes over towards her girlfriend. Scowling at what the other had said, Kristian stuck her tongue out to cover up the fact that what she had said was true. Turning her eyes over towards the blush, she watched when the other female bit her lip while she ran her finger over the blush. “Or I could have just said it to make you blush.” It was challenge to come up with that excuse, but she managed to pull through somehow. Kissing Tabitha always ended with her girlfriend blushing or her own cheeks flaring with the red tint. Thankfully, it was her girlfriend who ended up getting a bit flustered. Taking her chance on teasing the other, she knew that Tabitha would somehow manage to comeback with something wittier. Her girlfriend always managed to do that, and it never ceased to amaze her.

Kristian was glad that they didn’t have a serious relationship like some couples had. Yes, there were times they would have to quit the bull s**t and actually pay attention to what was going on, but she wasn’t going to put off taunting the other. It was just too much fun to actually give up. Somehow, Tabitha always managed to make her smile or laugh at whatever she said. It was intriguing because of the fact that she had never had someone that made her feel the way her girlfriend did. The feelings were definitely new, but she enjoyed them nonetheless. Even if they broke up, Kristian was positive that the taunting would still remain along with some of the feelings they felt towards each other. Well, she hoped they would at least. If none of that happened, it would surely be complicated between them.

Then Kristian found the back on the subject of cooking. She shook her head lightly at the excuse her girlfriend had just given her. “You and I both know that’s an excuse. Care to tell me the real reason? We both know I can’t focus on one subject too long, yet I have some skills in the kitchen?” Taunting the other never seemed to get old, and she enjoyed the fact that Tabitha wouldn’t take much of what she said to mind. “Damn. You’re smarter than I thought. By the way, they should label you a chatterbox, unless your only like this around me.” Kristian slipped her arms around the girl’s neck with a small grin pulling at her lips. Feeling Tabitha’s body lean against her own, she took a deep breath and acknowledged the fact that she enjoyed being that close to someone. Sure, she had hugged friends, but she didn’t seem to have a big crush on them like she had with her girlfriend. “Mhm. Tabitha and Kristian just happen to be two names rarely used. Well, Kristian is used mostly for boys.” Frowning a bit when she realized the last part, she could only guess that she had been mistaken for a boy when her parents had her. If so, her dad never really mentioned that part to her.

Waiting outside the door, Karen hated the thought of what she was doing behind her girlfriend’s back. Truthfully, she was just more into guys than her own girlfriend. Quickly getting over the guilt, she planted a big smile on her face that was to help disguise her emotions. Putting the affair behind her seemed like a logical thing to do with the situation. It would be stupid just to admit up to it right there. If it counted, she didn’t feel all that bad about the whole thing. She had shared a kiss (and a bit more) with Connor, so what was wrong with that? Wiping the thoughts away, Karen decided to start off on a clean slate and wipe the thoughts from her head. Seeing a few students pop their heads out of the classroom, she knew they were waiting for her to come back. It was the same thing that happened every time she waltzed out of the room. They were either sent to look out for her, or they just felt like peeking out.

Rolling her eyes at the sight, Karen leaned her head against the wall, silently waiting for her girlfriend. When the other female finally emerged, all the problems slipped away from her mind. Smiling brightly at the other, she resisted the urge to throw her arms around the Kelley’s neck. Fiddling with her shirt for a moment, Karen didn’t bother trying to fill her face with fake enthusiasm. Despite the fact she was cheating on Kelley, she actually enjoyed seeing the other and being able to share a few moments with her. The only thing she wasn’t really thrilled about was the fact that they were at school which meant they had to keep it professional. It was a given that a few people knew about how she was a ‘lesbian’ and technically going out with Kelley for almost a year now, but it wasn’t like it was plastered on her forehead.

Seeing how Kelley moved away from the classroom window, Karen raised an eyebrow at the movement. Moving closer towards her, she leaned against the wall for a moment before Kelley’s voice caught her attention. “You look gorgeous, hon. Just like every day you’ve been in my life.” The words came out smoothly, just how she had expected. Saying sweet things towards Kelley actually seemed natural like it was meant to be said. Her girlfriend’s next question splashed a bit of realization onto her. Did she look upset or irritated? Not pondering the subject too much longer, she decided to use school as an excuse. “Oh, it’s nothing. Just work and all the papers I put off until today.” Shrugging her shoulders, she played it off easily and let the easy smile appear on her face again. “Tonight. Me, you, and dinner? We could go out or I could cook…” Trailing off a bit for her girlfriend to choose, Karen knew she was fine with either of them.

On a rather childish impulse, she gently took a hold of Kelley’s hands before pulling the girl closer. Pressing her lips against the other’s, she pulled back reluctantly and took a few steps back. Shaking her head at herself, Karen was just glad that a student hadn’t watched the whole scene play out before them. Not only would it end her career, but it would always crush her girlfriend’s career. She knew the principal probably suspected something between the two, but she knew that they had to keep it business-like when at work. “Sorry, I guess I couldn’t really resist.” Shooting the other an apologetic smile, she ran her fingers through the mess of red curls, hoping to smooth her emotions out as well. Apologizing wasn’t really in her nature but when it came to being at work, she remained calm and quiet instead of her usual self that flirted with nearly anything that came in contact to her. Hence why she suddenly had something going on with Connor.

Karen knew it was best to leave behind the flirting, but she couldn’t really help it. Flirting just seemed to be a second language, and it was one she spoke the best. Unfortunately, she was too afraid of someone finding out about her relationship with Kelley and Connor. It would cost them all their jobs along with several other things. Karen would feel extra guilty if Kelley lost her job and realized she was cheating on her. Not bothering to ponder on these thoughts, she smiled brightly and thought about the plans she might have later that night. If Kelley said she was busy or didn’t feel like being with her that night, she would most likely just go home and take a nice bath or get that massage from Connor she knew she needed. Either one of those sounded like pure bliss at the moment.

Praying seemed the only thing logically when it came to trying to find time with Tabitha. Kristian knew there would be a few days that were filled to the brim with homework. If there ever was a break in homework, her friends would most likely con her into going out. If they did that, she could just drag along her girlfriend. Her friends were flexible when it came to people suddenly popping up in their group. Though, most of the time it was annoying siblings who had to be watched because the parents were away. As for Tabitha, Kristian knew her friends might wonder why she dragged her there, but they wouldn’t speak up about it. If anything they might try to make the other feel like they were at home and invite her to other things. That was the only good thing about her friends; they never asked questions. Unfortunately, there were more cons to her friends than pros. They were all too determined to force Kristian to do things like skipping class. They weren’t the best influence, but they did mean well. Then again, it was mostly Kristian’s fault for agree to skip class or going to a party.

Thankfully when it came to parties, she usually left sober because she didn’t enjoy alcohol that much. Kristian just wasn’t too into waking up with a thundering headache, but she did enjoy cigarettes occasionally. She wasn’t a chain-smoker, but she did enjoy one when life seemed to stress her out too much. As for how she got them, she had a few friends who bought cigarettes if you asked them too and provided the money. Usually she just bummed a cigarette from someone. Suddenly hearing what Tabitha had said, Kristian grinned at her reference to Monopoly. She had never been good at that game and somehow ended up getting frustrated and leaving the game on the ground. “Somebody’s not happy…” Her voice was playfully, but she decided it was best to give up the subject of needles. It seemed better since she didn’t want to provoke a fight over something that stupid.

Hearing the other laugh caused a smile to spread across her lips. It was hard not to smile when the girl you were going out with happened to be laughing at something you said. It was definitely a strange feeling to be dating your stepsister, but Kristian had managed to over look that fact. They were teenagers who happened to like each other, so it shouldn’t really matter if they were related by marriage or not. It wasn’t like it was incest or something. “Don’t worry, I will. Just as long as you hold yours too,” Pausing for a moment, she shuddered at the thought of spiders roaming freely around the house. “because we really can’t afford another broken television.” She muttered the last part softly, hoping one wouldn’t run out at the mention of its name. Glancing down at the ground, she felt a burst of relief when one didn’t scurry out from underneath something. That would scared the living soul out of Kristian. Her fears were pretty silly, but she couldn’t really help but dislike those creatures. Not only could they kill you, but they seemed abnormal with eight legs. That just wasn’t even right.

Feeling her girlfriend lean against her, Kristian couldn’t feel more at home. True they were standing in her house, but she had always managed to feel like a stranger there. Her dad was encouraging and all, but he never went out of his way to actually make sure she was fine. Many nights she had cried herself to sleep over her parents or just silly stuff at school. Yet, her dad never moved a muscle to help her out of her stump. Now that Tabitha was there, she felt glad that she had someone to talk to - especially since that someone would know what she was going through. Talking to a grown up about sex and alcohol just seemed…wrong. It would be a lot better speaking about it to another teenager that knew what you were talking about. Plus, her girlfriend would know exactly what she was talking about if she brought up religion. Most people pressured you into being a Christian or someone who believed in God. As for Kristian, she refused to take up a religion because of the fact that it would be awkward when they started to criticize homosexuals.

That would just get under her skin because Christians considered themselves above those. In her mind, that was being judgmental which wasn’t something that would get you into Heaven. Thinking back to what had been said earlier, she couldn’t really believe that jealousy had managed to get to her. Why did the thought of Tabitha ending up with someone else get to her? She wasn’t sure, but it had for a moment there. Her girlfriend’s voice managed to pull her thoughts away from the statement as she fought away a blush that threatened to appear on her cheeks. Unfortunately, the red tint made its way onto her face along with a little smirk. “Sexy? Really now? I could say the same for you, babe.” Flirting with Tabitha would never get old to Kristian. It was just too much fun to actually let go of.

Pondering there relationship, Kristian actually hoped they went pretty far together. It would be a challenge to have a secret relationship, but she would gradually get use to the idea. She hoped they made it as far as coming out with their relationship. Hopefully what they had would just fizz out like some kind of carbonated beverage. If it did, she hoped they both understood and could be friends. It would be pretty awkward living in a house with someone that hated your guts. Lacing her fingers through Tabitha’s, she let out a contempt sigh before shooting the other a little smile. Thinking about what might happen if they broke up managed to make the girl feel a bit down. She didn’t know why, but she wanted to last a while with her girlfriend. Kristian had a feeling they might due to how they both felt towards each other. They might get pressured into breaking up, but she prayed that they managed to get over that feeling pretty quick.

Listening to what Tabitha mumbled, Kristian grinned when she heard the familiar sarcastic tone that she usually talked in. Sarcastic comments ran through Kristian’s mind, but she decided to settle with one that wasn’t as sarcastic as the rest. “Hopefully a few doesn’t mean an hour. I’m starving.” Teasing the other lightly seemed to be an easy way of flirting. Hopefully her dad wouldn’t take this to mind if she slipped up later that night at the dinner table. She doubted he would since he was usually oblivious to her feelings towards anyone. Hell, she could bring home someone she was in love with, and he still wouldn’t know her feelings towards the person. A dumb a**? Nah…I thought you were beautiful.” Thankfully her own blush had managed to fade away. It was tempting to kiss her girlfriend, but she waited to see if the other would blush at her words or if she was growing use to her comments. “You barely talk at school? Don’t worry, a few weeks with me and you’ll be chatting with strangers at Wal-Mart.” Sadly, it was true. Kristian was known for her infamous talks with complete strangers at local grocery stores. It wasn’t her fault she felt chatty at times. “You peaceful? I find this hard to believe. Hm…related to the bible? I didn’t know your mom was religious?”

MICHAEL ALEXANDER JACKSONdance
he`s a soldier with a good heartdancedance

dancedancedance born in North Carolina raised in the army
dancedancedancedance stationed in Poland

Leave - something all army men look forward to. As for Michael, the only thing he was looking forward to was spending time with his little sister and his mother. His father, on the other hand, would only be visited on the weekends when they could all make the trip down to the cemetery. This was something that did nearly every weekend when he finally had a leave. Two weeks of pure bliss, and he was ready to just sit back and put his feet up on the table. Instead of watching for people who might attempt to shoot him, he would be able to think about his old friends and where they were now. Sure, they were probably where he left them, but he didn’t really mind if they were still low lives. That part of his past was over, and he would rather just say hello to them and pass on his way. As a rebellious teen, he didn’t quite understand why he needed to protect his mother and sister, much less protect his country. Honestly, Michael still didn’t understand why he actually signed up for the army. His guess was because he thought his mother would approve of his sudden behavior change. Yet, when he informed her that he had signed up, she cried out like he had stabbed her. Now that he was returning, he was sort of anxious to see his mother and how his sister had changed. From the few pictures he got, he could tell his sister was a stunner and turning sixteen in a week or so. Michael hoped like hell that his leave covered the day his sister had her birthday. He wanted to be there for her sweet sixteen. It was bizarre how much he actually missed his family while he was gone.

Usually Michael wouldn’t care too much for his sister, but he actually looked forward to seeing her. To him, Elizabeth looked more like his mother than his dad. Smirking at the thought, the male tapped his knee carefully before tugging on the uniform his was wearing. It was the usually pale camouflage with his last name stitched across the front. His hat matched the uniform, but it sank down a bit over his eyes. Pushing the hat up, the male stood there awkwardly with his luggage casually slung over his shoulder and the other bag in his hand. Seeing a few people pass by him, he could practically feel their eyes staring at his uniform like they owed him something. Honestly, he was just serving his country like the patriot he was. Feeling a slight tug on his pants, Michael glanced down before beaming at the little girl that happened to smile up at him sweetly. “Mister! Are you waiting for your mommy too?” The girl had a slight lisp, and he chuckled when the question finally registered in his brain. The whole thing he loved about little kids happened to be how care free and silly they could be at times. Setting down his bags, the male kneeled down as he nodded slowly at the little girl. “Yep and my little sister. I haven’t seen them in a year.” Informing her in a soft tone, the male glanced around for someone who might suddenly accuse him of taking her. “Where’s your mom?” He asked as he tilted his head a bit with a curious smile on his smile. “I dunno. Still waiting for her. Can you help me out?” The lisp on the little girl made him smile, but it soon faltered when he realized she was alone in an airport. “Sure, how old are you, kid?” Deciding to get to the obvious, Michael blamed her parents for actually letting her wander off.

“I’m….” The little girl trailed off as Michael stood up from his kneeling position. “Six and a half! Oh, and I lost a tooth!” She added the last part in which explained the lisp that he had detected throughout the conversation. “That’s nice. Didn’t your parents tell you never to talk to strangers?” He asked, curious as to what her answer might be when it came to what he had said. Watching her nod slowly, he suddenly felt a little hand clasp around his own and felt the need to bring the child to her mom. It wouldn’t be very responsible to just leave the poor kid unprotected in an airport. “Yes sir! But they said to always trust someone in a uniform, and I saw you so I thought you could help me find her.” The little girl glanced up at him for a moment before turning her eyes towards the crowded airport that stretched out in front of them. “Ah. That explains it. When did you lose your tooth?” Turning the conversation over to what she had said earlier, Michael glanced towards the entrance of the airport. Maybe her mom would suddenly pop up? “Yesterday! Daddy was happy. He told me he’d buy me ice cream.” Raising an eye brow, Michael wondered if all little kids were as energetic as the one skipping beside him. Seeing a few people smile at him tenderly, Michael was positive they thought that he had reunited with his daughter. If anything, the closest thing he had to a daughter was the dog that was waiting for him at home. “Did he? What’s your name, kid?” Finding a bench to sit down at, the male pulled the little girl up there with ease. Compared to the weights he had been lifting, she was an easy thing to pick up. Settling down beside her, he pushed his cap up once again before setting down his bags on the ground. His combat boots thudded against the floor until he finally managed to find a comfortable sitting position.

“Yep! We got chocolate chip cookie dough. It was yummy! Oh, I’m Sylvia!” She grinned at him, showing off the little gap where a baby tooth once sat. Michael usually wasn’t good with kids but this one seemed to attract to him easily. She might have been a total stranger, but he was beginning to feel the same protectiveness over her as he did his own sister. Suddenly seeing a figure wave towards the little girl, he stood up before standing up in font of Sylvia. “What’s your mom’s name, Sylvia?” He asked in a rushed tone as the figure began to approach them. As the older woman slowed to a stop, he could tell that the woman was pretty much the same age as him. The only difference between them happened to be the frown on her face and the protective glare on his. “Um…Jessica Wilkes. Why, sir?” Puzzled the girl looked around his body and instantly beamed at the other lady. “Sylvia, stay behind me. I want to make sure she’s really her.” Nodding towards the woman, Michael felt the little girl wrap her arms around his leg as he continued to tower over her mother. Finally checking the ID, he stood back and folded his arms against his chest. Watching the little girl walk off with her mom was hard, but he made no movement to stop them. After all, she was just a little girl. After going back and settling on the bench, he didn’t have to wait long before his own family popped into the picture. The seriousness in his face seemed to fade into a small smile as he wrapped his arms around his sister in a hug. Doing the same with his mother, he stepped back for a moment to dust off his own uniform as he bent over to pick up the bags. “You sure you’re fifteen? You look like some kind of eighteen year old.” The thought made Michael frown, but he soon got over it and pulled his luggage towards the car. “Yeah, well, I’ve grown since you‘ve last seen me, Mitch.” His sister said in a sickly sweet tone that made the irony settle in. Deciding not to comment on the attitude he had received, he heaved the bags into the back before climbing into the passenger seat.

Michael didn’t really get why the ride home had been silent, but it had. The only thing that produced sound was the purring engine along with the music that sang throughout the car. Being the type of guy he was, he made no movement to actually change the sudden silence. If his mother and sister wanted to say something, they would. Being in the army, he had learned several things included to speak out when your spoken too. That and that you shouldn’t ask someone what they had experienced in the war. Not only did it get under the guy’s skin, but he would tell the most gruesome stories of the war. Shivering at the thought, the male was getting a bit tired of having to bend his neck the whole car ride. When the finally emerged out of the trees and parked in the driveway, Michael smiled when he realized that the house hadn’t changed while he was gone. The same pale blue color was chipping on the wood, and the rocking chair still set in the corner, broken. Smiling at the memories of how he stood on it while trying to get a wasp nest out of the corner of the roof when it snapped, causing him to fall down on his back. His sister was only ten at the time, but she had cracked up when she realized the blundered her brother had made. Finally getting out, he spotted a few tears in his mother’s eyes, but she hurried off to the house before he could confirm his suspicions. Seeing his sister hurrying after her, he stopped her by clearing his throat. “Hey, I want to talk to you real quick.” Reaching out and touching her arm gently, Michael almost saw his sister recoil before she nodded reluctantly. “Yeah, sure. Why?”

“What’s wrong with mom?” His tone leaked with both worry and curiosity as his sister shook off his grip. Seeing the stubborn glint feel her eyes, Michael knew it probably had something to do with him signing up for service. “Mitch, you can’t just show up and expect mom to be all happy-go-lucky! It’s been a year, Michael. A year.” The harsh tone she had talked through managed to make him drop his eyes towards the ground. Staring at the combat boots, he knew that he should have talked to his mother about going into the service. Unfortunately, being stubborn came with prices. After he signed up for service, he was shipped off to boot camp before being deployed to Poland. It had been a year since he first joined, and he had expected his mother to be somewhat happy. Yet she was instead probably crying her eyes out about only seeing him for a couple of weeks. “I didn’t expect that. I just thought she’d be….I don’t know, okay! The decision was rash, I know!” Michael’s emotions sent him over the edge, causing frustration to slip into his tough guy exterior. Despite the few tattoos he had earned, the male was the same as he had when he left. He was just a boy who wanted to make his mother proud. Rubbing the back of his neck, he knew he had to be cautious when it came to be around females and emotion. The men in his unit rarely cried and never talked about how they managed to wind up in there. The few that had opened up to him remained close to him. Hell, he had been tempted to go home with one of his buddies who had a family back in Florida. A vacation to the beach would be nice, but he decided to come back to North Carolina like it was some kind of mission.

“Just look. The keys are still in the car. Go catch up with some buddies or something. I need to talk to mom.” Pointing over towards the car, Michael shrugged in defeat before closing the trunk of the car. Not bothering to say anything to his sister, he gestured towards the house where his mother lurked. Even though he didn’t show it, he was truly hurt that his sister had actually mentioned how he had just up and left. Watching his sister retreat towards the house, his mind suddenly registered the book list that was in his suitcase. Mentally noting one of the books, he felt foolish at marking down a sappy romance book by Nicholas Sparks. Romance was never something he was experienced at, but he had a feeling the book would be a good one. The drive to the nearest bookstore wasn’t too long - especially by car. Arriving there in a good twenty minutes, the uniformed male stepped out into the breeze. Choosing to leave the hat in the car, Michael prayed that there were some tall people in the bookstore. Otherwise, he knew that many people would gawk at him like some kind of giant. It was true that he wasn’t the shortest person in the world, but the men in his unit happened to be around his height. Fitting in there seemed easier than going out in public to a book store. Ruffling the hair that was growing back, the male stepped into the bookstore with an odd feeling of warmth in his heart. Nodding over at the person behind the counter, he wasn’t too surprised to find the place nearly empty. It seemed people had better things to do on a Friday afternoon. Sadly, the most exciting thing that might happen was the fact that he might stop at a bar or local restaurant. Sauntering over towards the romance section, he stood there awkwardly looking for the book that was stuck on his brain. Finally spotting Dear John, the male cocked his head a bit before reaching out to retrieve it. Suddenly feeling soft hands touch his own, Michael pulled back with a bit of surprise before glancing at the girl beside him. “Oh! I’m sorry, miss.”

MADELINE JESSICA KELLEY

TRAALALALA- - >

your lovely murderer

xxxxxxxhey there sexy, mind if i smoke ?

There was no doubt in Madeline’s mind that Evan’s parents didn’t know about her sexuality. As for her, she ended up coming out to her parents years ago when she started with her promiscuous behavior. Girls were just more delightful, and they moved better than males did. Then again, most people thought she was bisexual due to her flirty behavior. If you really knew her, you could easily tell that she only swung her bat towards on gender. As for Evan, she sort of suspected the other wasn’t too straight when she revealed her nickname. What kind of girl would want to go by Evan? Running her fingers through her hair, the curls soon settled back down on her shoulders as she glanced in the mirror to check to make sure she looked decent.

When her friend ended up calling her, Maddy felt annoyed that drunk people always called her. It was like her friends had her on speed dial. Feeling another vibration in her hand, she wasn’t surprised to see a few texts from the girls she had gone out with the previous night. Brushing a few strands of hair from her face, the female rolled her teal colored eyes before leaning on her bedroom wall. Sighing to herself, she really couldn’t get over the fact that the girls were so upset about her breaking up with them. It was doubtful they would last a couple days, much less what these people were talking about. Girls were just confusing when it came to dating them. Shaking off the frustration, she knew that she would end up somehow taking it out on Evan. It was a bad habit, but she took her anger out on the closest person to her. Unfortunately, Evan happened to be that person. The only things that might cause some relaxation was a cigarette which happened to be in the living room. Everything just seemed to point at Madeline actually getting mad and saying some s**t to the other person. Oh well, if things ended up happening, Evan would get over it. It couldn’t be worse than the many things she had said to the other before - at least she didn’t think so.

When she waltzed back in the room, she had expected Evan to return to her sarcastic self. Instead, she screamed and cursed like Maddy had been the one to walk into her house. She didn’t understand the reaction, but she was getting too tired to even ask the other what the reaction was all about. Killing someone and then burying them was actually starting to take its toll on the girl. When the other girl said something, she strained to hear it but didn’t bother killing herself over it. Shrugging her shoulders at what the girl had said, she managed to unclench her teeth while she was actually glad she didn’t squeal like a little girl. “God, you scared the ******** out of me.” She growled, trying to calm her heart that thudded in her chest. The irony of the situation soon hit the girl when she realized that it should be the exact opposite. Madeline was sure that it should be Evan afraid of her. Fortunately, the other girl didn’t even expect anything about her. If she had, Maddy was pretty sure that the other would have spoken up against or. Or would she? The questions lurked in her mind, but she was beginning to feel a bit tired. Instead of leaning up against the side of the couch, she chose to lean against Evan.

She wasn’t really surprised when Evan’s fingers curled around her own. It was pretty much an instinct when someone laced there fingers through your own. Still, Maddy couldn’t help but wonder if the girl did it because she felt like it. That was a possibility, but she doubted that it was because she wanted to. If anything, it was just some reaction, and she would let go pretty soon. Surprisingly, Evan didn’t recoil from her like she had thought. Instead, she actually seemed to be contemplating something. “Mhm.” She didn’t bother telling the other it was fine. She hated being nice period, and she would rather just erase the moment and flirt some more with the other girl. Sighing lightly at the emotions that were crammed into her heart, she actually wondered if it was possible to like someone you just met. Maybe it was just mere emotions? It wouldn’t surprise her if the girl left the next day, and they never saw each other. As much as she didn’t want it to happen, she could feel some type of pull towards Evan. Running her fingers up and down the girl’s arm she pressed her lips together to stifle a giggle when she heard what the other had said. “Okay, I’ll stop.” It wasn’t much of a bother to the girl as she released the loose grip she had on the other’s arm. Sliding over and pulling out the cigarette, she wasn’t really concerned when the sudden mood change overcame Evan. It was her house, and she could smoke whenever she felt the need to - even if it wasn’t allowed in the apartment.

Maddy loathed being told to do by anyone around her. It was a surprise if she even did what her parents told her to do. Surprisingly, though, she use to be the type that wasn’t known to bend rules- much less break them. By now, she learned that all rules were meant to be broken once or twice, so it wasn’t as much fun breaking rules as it use to be. Yet, she found pleasure in doing something she was warned not to do. “Does it really look like I care? It might be a disgusting habit but who the hell cares?” It was obvious that the night was beginning to take its toll on the girl. The cigarette was failing to relax her which meant that she needed sleep or she would bite Evan’s head off. It wasn’t something she wanted to do, but she was getting frustrated with the fact that the other didn’t understand anything about cigarettes. “God, I need sleep.” She grumbled to herself when she finally managed to get an answer from the other girl. Before she could get up, she was suddenly greeted with Evan’s tense tone. Raising an eyebrow at the her tone, Madeline shrugged since she was too pissed off to answer without snapping at the other. “Ask me that in the morning after I’ve had my coffee. Maybe I’ll tell you the truth?” She snapped as she put the cigarette out in the ashtray beside her. Ruffling her hair with her fingers, the feisty female attempted to gather her emotions up a bit.

                                ooc;
                                I am :] I'm a lot better now.
LOL Poor Evan, she has to deal with mood swings.
We probably should. Maybe sleep with ease the pissy mood?
XDDD Well, at least you picked the right name?

MICHAEL ALEXANDER JACKSONdance
he`s a soldier with a good heartdancedance

dancedancedance born in North Carolina raised in the army
dancedancedancedance stationed in Poland

Michael couldn’t really name the last time he had actually touched someone of the opposite sex. Well, besides the hug he had given his sister and the child’s hand he had held. Those didn’t really count but neither did that incident. They just happened to be reaching for the same book with their hands touched each other. It wasn’t like it had been some sort of full blown contact with the other, but he couldn’t help but find his breath being lodged in his throat. Glancing at the girl, he could tell that she was beautiful. Taking a step back, his eyes immediately confirmed that his suspicions were correct. Catching himself, the male immediately turned his eyes from the other, as if to apologize for staring. Thankfully, he didn’t feel all that idiotic due to the fact that he had left his hat in the car. If he had it on, it would most likely cover his eyes. The only reason it didn’t fit was because they didn’t get sized for that stuff in the military. If it was too big, it wasn’t likely to go into action with you. Plus, the only thing you had on your head was the helmet that dodged the few bullets that were shot at you --- if any at all. As for Michael, the only time he had been shot at was a few weeks back when someone started stuff up in the town next to them. When his unit was assigned to it, they were pretty positive they could handle it. Unfortunately, they hadn’t expected the man to actually take out a gun from God knows where he got it. Managing to tune into reality, he was glad that he didn’t have to worry about being shot at when he was on leave. If anything, he might go somewhere later that evening, but it was doubtful. His first night would probably end in a warm fire with him under the blanket actually reading a book.

Though his hopes were set on it, Michael knew he could do without the book for a little while. The girl in front of him would probably be more interested in the sappy book anyways. Frowning at his stereotype, he knew that not all girls actually liked that sort of stuff. He had met one person in his unit whose wife actually enjoyed a gory war movie over something that had to do with romance. As much as it had shocked him, he knew a few girls were out in the world like that. Rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly, the male wasn’t really sure what else to say to the opposite sex. It had been at least a good year or two since he had even conversed with a girl that wasn’t in his family. The only thing he could muster up happened to be the apology that slid out of his mouth automatically. It was the usually response that happened when he accidentally bumped into someone or touched them by accident. Catching the girl’s gaze, he was taken aback by how pretty her eyes really were. The bluish color seemed to capture his attention instantly and once again it felt like he was being hit in the heart by a bullet. For a moment, he found himself wishing to speak to the girl but quickly reconsidered it. What if his conversation skills sucked? It wasn’t like many guys in the place he was at spoke much. If anything at all, they just grunted like some kind of beast. But it was expected out of men who were supposedly cold-blooded monsters.

Michael hated those stereotypes that people seemed to tack onto soldiers. Yes, they fought in war and occasionally killed people, but these were people who deserved it the most. These were the terrorist that planned on killing thousands of people. It shocked him that people could be so ungrateful that they weren’t the ones witnessing your best friend getting shot. Luckily, he wasn’t one of those to witness that either. Most of the men in his units hadn’t either, but he did know of one guy that watched his best friend bleed to death. He was just glad that he wasn’t one of those stationed in a bloodier part of the country. Poland might have been boring, but he thanked the Lord every day for not sending him into action. Not only would it save his mother’s grieve, but he knew he had another day to live each morning he woke up. It was doubtful that any of the towns would suddenly rise up and strike the army base. Yet, they practiced drills for it nearly everyday. Michael was pretty sure they were just paranoid that it actually might happen. If it did, they had more ammo than they could ever need against a town. Suddenly hearing the girl speak, a hint of a smile tugged at his lips, but he forced it back before it could turn into a full-blown smile. Her tone was soft and gentle, well, compared to his gruff tone. “I believe there is, though.” He knew it wasn’t the best possible answer, but he decided that it didn’t really matter. If she questioned his conversation skills, he knew she would probably blame it on the uniform he was wearing. Soldiers didn’t have the best reputation when it came to conversation skills. Michael felt a bit embarrassed by how bizarre he looked standing next to the girl. Compared to what she was dressed in, it made his uniform look like tatters.

Michael knew his uniform wasn’t the best in the world, but he had to admit that the girl was working her outfit. It was strange to think of someone he just met like that, but he wasn’t going to ignore the obvious. Sliding his fingers over the light stubble on his chin, he was suddenly aware with the fact that he needed to shave. It was amusing how off subject he really was, but he tried to keep his thoughts from straying over on the girl too much. They didn’t know each other, and it was awkward to actually admit that he thought the girl was different from the other he met in his life. When she spoke again, his attention was redirected towards her. Unfortunately, she turned and walked away before he could possible protest with her. Blowing out a puff of air, he knew that he probably blew his chances with the girl. Slipping the book off the shelf, he tucked it underneath his arm before peeking behind him. Seeing the girl disappear into one of the aisles, he ran his fingers over the crew cut before tilting his head at what had happened. Maybe he was going crazy, but it felt like he somehow knew the girl. It was likely that he did, but Michael still longed to actually talk with the girl. Turning around for a moment, he gripped the book in his hand while looking for the familiar feeling. Truthfully, he knew that if he brought the book back with him that the whole unit would laugh at him. Then again, the only thing he usually stuck with good mystery books or horror with twisted humor. Romance was just something that he enjoyed occasionally.

Michael’s boots thudded against the floor as he strolled towards where the girl had disappeared to. Finally managed to find her in the cooking section, he prayed that she didn’t think he was some type of stalker. With the book still in hand, he gave her a small smile before casually walking down the aisle to where she was leaning against the bookshelf. “It just didn’t feel right taking the book from you. You should have it, I’ll settle for another book.” Offering the book out towards her, Michael smiled politely but still felt a bit rude that he didn’t address her the right way. The only reason he didn’t happened to be because of the small fact that he didn’t know her name. The male knew that it wouldn’t be too hard to ask her what he should call her, but he didn’t feel like it was the right moment. He could tell she was thinking about something, and he didn’t want to disturb her thoughts. Feeling a bit foolish standing there, he took a glance around them to see if anyone else had managed to come in. Unfortunately, the bookstore was still as quiet and inactive as it had been when he first came through the door. The only thing that happened to be different was the surroundings since he moved into a different area of the bookstore. “Oh! I’m sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Michael Williams.” He offered the greeting with a smile but held out the book instead of a hand to shake.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxgot a problem with it?

Kristian knew she would have to survive without Tabitha for a little while - especially later that evening. No doubt her father would pull her aside and attempt to talk to her. She could try to pull away from him, but she was doubtful he would let her go. Her father was always stubborn when it came to telling her stuff. As much as she tried to shrug him off, he would always end up winning. It was just like the day in middle school when she refused to take her lunch. What did he do? He showed up at lunch with a big grin on his face and personally handed it to her. She had forgiven him, of course, but it was just something you did when you lived with your father. Kristian had managed to get use to his stubbornness, and he managed to get over the fact that she was bisexual. It was a win-win situation that ended up making both of them happy. So in the end, she didn’t bother trying to disturb the peace between them.

Kristian wondered what her dad would probably do later that night. Would they watch a movie like nearly every other Sunday? She wasn’t really sure how their schedule changed due to the two new people that were added into her family. Hopefully, her dad wouldn’t suggest going through home videos like he did with some people. She doubted he would because of the small fact that his ex-wife was in a majority of them. Other than that, it was usually just a random thing she did as a kid that they felt the need to film. She really didn’t get how grown-ups were so obsessed with those sort of things. It was important to capture your kid’s moment but not when they first use the bathroom. Kristian hated that video her dad seemed to enjoy. Every time he suggested watching the video, she managed to get embarrassed even before the video is shown. Tabitha’s voice brought her out of the cloud she happened to be floating in for a moment. “Hm….not sure.” Her tone was thoughtful because of all the sudden thoughts running through her brain.

That usually happened when she had a lot on her mind. Right now, she was mostly thinking about her father and how amazing it would be if he were married to her mom. She would have an open relationship with Tabitha which would be the highlight of her life. Though, she wasn’t even sure they would’ve met if they were still together. Either way, Kristian happened to be looking at the positive side of everything. Managing to pull herself out of her thoughts, the girl knew it would be best to keep her feet on the ground instead of daydreaming about things. “What? Oh, sorry. No, I didn’t mean it like that.” After apologizing, a grin slipped onto the girl’s face at what the other had told her. If it came out like that, she didn’t mean for it to be taken like that. Then again, most of her statements came out all wrong. Either that or people around her took them the wrong way. It was then that Kristian recognized the Canadian words that had tucked itself in her girlfriend’s question. Before she could tease her about it, she noticed how close Tabitha’s lips were to hers. “Television over you? No way?” She could help but chuckle at the thought of actually choosing shows over her own girlfriend.

Catching what her girlfriend mumbled, Kristian wanted more than just a brief kiss. Still, she knew they couldn’t do much because of their parents somewhere in the house. There was no doubt in her mind that they happened to be in the living room, but she still knew her dad would come probing in there. Hopefully, he wouldn’t see them embracing like they had been, but she wasn’t going to let the other go. They would have enough time to separate and act innocent if anyone were to open the kitchen door. Plus, she could just say that she was hugging the other girl. Her dad would believe the lie without a doubt but only because he knew she could get a bit touchy-feely if she actually felt like it. It was oddly bizarre how comfortable she was with hugging a complete stranger, but she did have to admit that hugging people randomly was fun. It was surprising how off topic her brain could really get. One moment she was thinking about her girlfriend and then the next she was thinking about random strangers in Wal-Mart.

Kristian really hated how easily she managed to blush at things. It made her feel somewhat childish. She might have acted that way sometimes, but she hated when she actually felt like it. Her mind was distracted from the blush when her girlfriend leaned in closer. This time, though, the kiss was a bit more passionate rather than the brief one they shared previously. Kissing Tabitha back felt normal, like she had been doing it all her life. It actually amused her at how comfortable she really was around her girlfriend. If it had been someone else, she would have felt a bit uncomfortable kissing them back. She should have known she wouldn’t have been since the whole relationship was something different than the normal. Unfortunately, the kiss was soon disturbed when they both realized they had to pull back. The kiss only made her even more anxious to get to the tree house.

Kristian was just glad that their relationship was thriving instead of going down hill. Not only did it assure her that it would take a lot to tear their relationship apart, but it provided her with some relief. She was just glad that the other wasn’t one of those to follow the rules and stay serious all the time. Tabitha knew how to joke around, and it only made Kristian feel even more bubbly inside. The emotions she felt for the other was truly confusing, but she was gradually getting use to the idea. It was pretty interesting how much she found herself falling for the girl every time they shared a sweet kiss or when she just felt the other leaning on her. It was a sensation that she couldn’t quite put into words. Kristian felt positive their relationship would last longer than all of the other relationships she had. Well, at least she hoped this one would. She would hate to suddenly lose her girlfriend and wind up being sworn enemies with the other. It would be awkward and pretty rude.

“Do I have to? It’s so much work to get out all the stuff…” She whined playfully with a little smirk on her lips as she bit her lip softly. “God, I hate how much of a tease you are.” Running her thumb over the girl’s lips, she found herself longing to kiss the other, yet the thought of getting caught lingered in the back of her mind. Suddenly catching the tint that managed to find its way onto her girlfriend’s face again, the small smirk widened into a devious grin when she thought about how she might have caused it. There was no doubt in her mind that she did cause it when she called the other beautiful. It melted her heart to see Tabitha actually blushing at her words. “I thought all lesbians and gays were going to hell? At least that’s what Christian promise will happen nowadays. Personally, I think they are all just bitches.” The cuss word slipped from her mouth a bit harsher than she had expected, but she didn’t regret it. Plenty of Christians from her school already swore that she had a one-way ticket to hell just because she thought about girls the wrong way.

yep i pretty much failed at jordan's format DD:just tell me what to do, i bend at your will.

just don't worry about it.
save me from myself, i'm slowly dying.

can we start over Dahlia doll?i can take care of myself.

Jordan was pretty sure that Dahlia was confused as s**t at the moment. He went from knocking a guy senseless to suddenly smirking and asking her out. It was confusing to the both of them, but he really wished she would say yes. It would make the party a lot of fun to have his old ex-girlfriend by his side. It would be just like the old times when they had been dating. The only problem would be stepping up if some guy was basically undressing Dahlia with their eyes. Now, he would have to stick by Machala’s side while she downed some kind of drink and giggled at his statements. His girlfriend now could be quite annoying whenever she was high or drunk. It was never fun or easy for him to resist the drugs that had began to destroy his body. Hopefully, if Dahlia agreed to go, she could distract him from the drugs and the tempting things he could do with Machala. Plus, knowing his girlfriend, she would try and drag him into the bedroom for a bit of excitement. If it was obvious, the two had already had sex with each other - even if they had been dating for a short time. It didn’t matter to the two since they had lust and it needed to be solved. Most of his friends knew how easy it was to get Machala undressed and in bed. Hell, most of them had actually been in bed with her. She was one of those that most guys ******** and most girls admired. Jordan didn’t really feel much love for the girl since his heart was still wrapped around Dahlia. He wouldn’t admit it, but he still had strong feelings towards Dahlia that were pretty obvious at the moment. He wanted nothing more than to lean over and kiss the her and make up for all the old times. He knew that it wasn’t likely Dahlia would want to be with him again. After all he put her through, he was surprised that she was still able to stand there with that cute smile on her face. Hearing a slight chuckle from her mouth, Jordan isn’t felt overwhelmed with the feelings that overcame his body. Ignoring the slight need to kiss her, he leaned over towards her and wrapped his arms around her in a hug. “Dahlia, I’m just glad your okay. That…b*****d didn’t deserve to touch you.” Not mentioning Dewayne’s name seemed logically to him since he was still pissed off the other was trying to rape his doll. Sure, they weren’t together or anything, but he refused to watch another man attempt to be something like he was. What they had shared had been special to him, and it was hard to find a replacement to fill the empty space in his heart. All he needed right now was his Dahlia doll back, and the empty space would be filled again. Feeling her back in his arms felt soothing, but the male reluctantly placed a small kiss on her cheek before stepping back. “Don’t want you to get hurt on your first day back. You always had the worst of luck, love.” The words slipped out with a teasing smile on his face while he decided to show off a bit of his sweet side. It was rare that he showed the side, but it was his first love he was speaking to. The girl that he lost two months earlier because of a stupid mistake. Dahlia was the girl he wanted back.

Kristian was actually looking forward to dinner that night with everyone. Sure, it was never too fun hanging out with step siblings and a step mom, but she found herself comfortable around them. Well, she was more comfortable around Tabitha than her mother. Yet, she knew that her new step mom wouldn’t judge her too harshly if she came home with a girlfriend. It was unlikely that she would since she was currently enjoying being with Tabitha. If there was one thing for certain, Kristian was going to try her best to actually keep the relationship striving. If people found out about it, they would be in for criticism, but she was sure they could get through it. All they needed in life was to be by each other’s side. It would definitely help out in their type of relationship. Having a hidden relationship was never something Kristian had dreamed of, but she understood why they had to keep it on the down low. It wasn’t a relationship some people would approve, but she did hope they lasted long enough to come out with their relationship. She doubted that their parents would kill them too bad if they told them. Parents who easily accepted a change in their child’s sexuality could easily accept that, right? Biting her lip gently, Kristian’s mind was too occupied with thoughts of her parents and recent relationship. For now, she just wanted to focus on Tabitha, but it seemed impossible for some reason.

Maybe she should call her mom later and talk to her about it all? Excluding the relationship stuff, of course. Kristian was pretty sure her mother would frown upon her if she admitted up to having an attraction towards her step sister. Her mom already didn’t approve of her going out with the same gender, so it wasn’t likely she would approve of this relationship. It didn’t really bother Kristian, though, since she had grown use to the few comments about homosexuality that would slip out of her mother’s mouth. She meant well, and the teenaged girl understood that completely. Getting put down by her mother was hard, but she eventually grew use to it. Plus, she was sure that her mother wouldn’t stand around and let someone trash talk about her - at least she hoped she wouldn’t.

“I didn’t? Sorry, I’m just distracted with these thoughts and stuff.” Frowning for a moment, Kristian soon wiped it off her face when she glanced over at Tabitha. Instead, a soft smile played across her lips when the butterflies in her stomach moved around for the moment. Surprisingly enough, a blush didn’t spread across her cheeks like usual. When her girlfriend spoke again, she could tell that the other had taken her tone too seriously. Most people who knew Kristian didn’t even think she had a serious side, but the side became more dominant when she began to think about serious issues. Her relationship and parents were definitely issues that needed to be worried over. “But I mean, if there is a really good show on…” Trailing off playfully, she knew the other wouldn’t take the comment to heart.

Plus, it was really doubtful that Kristian would turn down Tabitha for a silly television show. When it came to the television and her girlfriend, the latter always won. She actually liked spending time with the other and getting to know more things about her. A few months ago, she would have just admired the girl from a distance and didn’t dream of talking to her. But now, it was much more than just talking; it was kissing and holding the other. She didn’t mind it, and she was actually comfortable convincing herself to kiss Tabitha. At first, it had been a bit awkward and strange, but the feeling soon peeled off when they were alone in the tree house. It was comforting to know that she was with someone she could mess around with. Yes, there would be moments where she’d have to somber up but only if she was forced to. Kristian liked being playfully, and the majority of the time nobody could stop her from teasing them. It just came natural to her, so the only time she really was serious happened to be when she was thinking.

Otherwise, Kristian was usually the bubbly person that teased anyone luckily to be near her. Hugging herself closer to Tabitha, the girl let out a small sigh while a smile etched its way onto her lips. Being close to someone you had feelings for felt good, and she didn’t care if their parents walked in. Actually, she cared to a certain extent but for the most part, she wondered what was the worst that could happen. It was true that they could get kicked out, but she doubted her dad was that harsh. Kristian would be willing to bet that her dad would get over it quickly. If he didn’t, she wasn’t quite sure what might happen. One of them could be sent to some boarding school or their parents could just spilt up. The latter seemed unlikely due to the smiles that were printed on her dad’s face.

Thinking about what might happen sent arrows of worry throughout her heart. They weren’t to the point in the relationship where Kristian would admit up to being ‘in love’, but she was new to the feelings. It wasn’t the first time she had been in a relationship with another girl, but she didn’t feel that strongly for them. If she did, she always managed to get her heart ripped out of her chest. Hopefully, Tabitha wouldn’t be as cold-hearted as some of her previous girlfriends had been. It was doubtful that her girlfriend even had a mean bone in her body. The whole time they had been talking, Kristian had only seen the good side of her. The side that was pleasant and made her blush. Maybe that was a sign about their relationship? Unfortunately, she knew that every couple had their moments where they disagreed with each other. They might try to avoid fighting with each other, but it would eventually happen. She wasn’t too worried about that part, though. There would be bumps in their relationship, but she hoped they could overcome them. Kristian could actually see herself with Tabitha for a while but then again that could be just her imagination. Things never happened the way they were planned.

“Fine, fine. If you’re actually hungry, I’ll cook you something.” Pulling herself away from her girlfriend, Kristian moved towards the kitchen counter. Humming along to the tune of the radio, she was suddenly distracted when Tabitha began to speak again. “You know me too well, dear.” She stated with a small smirk on her lips as she continued with what she had been doing before. Running her fingers through her hair, the girl was glad that her dad hadn’t walked in at anytime to check up on them. Thankfully, her dad wasn’t one to randomly burst in the room without knocking. It had happened several times, but he eventually realized that it was best to knock when they had company over. There were several times he accidentally stumbled in on her and her current boyfriend or girlfriend lip locking. Stifling a laugh at the thought, Kristian turned her attention back over to Tabitha.

Pursing her lips, she knew the other had a pretty good point. It wasn’t the first time she had stereotyped someone, but she knew it wasn’t fair to label all Christians as people who hated homosexuals. It just wasn’t fair. “I guess you do have a point. Some of them actually support them. Most of the Christians I’ve met have looked down at me. I shouldn’t consider all Christians homophobic.” Managing to get the thought out, Kristian didn’t really mind admitting that she was wrong to Tabitha. It was much easier than admitting it to her dad. Feeling her girlfriend’s arm wrap loosely around her neck, her hands automatically rested on the other’s hips. How easily they adjusted to the position made Kristian smile since it was almost like their bodies were in sync. “Oh my God! I forgot all about….wow. I’m sorry.” What Tabitha had said suddenly dawned on her when she went back over her previous statement. She had called Christians bitches which included Tabitha’s mom. Well, it was just her luck.
