                  i finally fell in l o v e
                  i fell so h a r d that i'm killing myself
                  yes, i n e e d out
                  out of this g r a v e that i've dug

When he turned away, she felt bad, swallowing and biting down on her lower lip nervously. Ailyn wondered what she had said to kill his grin, but when he turned back to her, she simply smiled softly at him again. He began talking about how he'd like to help her out and she grinned, blushing slighlty. She wanted to protest his being so nice to her. Honestly, she didn't think she quite deserved it, but whatever. Ailyn kept her mouth shut and continued to grin softly as Max continued to ramble on. He stopped talking for a bit after asking about her band and she chose that chance to step in and speak before she could get cut off anymore. "Nah, we're still together. And yeah, bands with friends are a hell of a lot easier to deal with than strangers," she stated, nodding and then chuckling slightly when he spoke again. "Yeah well...I don't have a comeback for why I don't have to try so hard." The girl smirked and brushed her blue hair out of her eyes, moving to wrap that hand around her neck, pulling her hair around to lay over her shoulder softly.

The time spent chatting with the boys of Escape the Fate and flirting as much as she possibly could with Max seemed to fly by. He did a really good job at getting rid of her nervous qualities around people that she didn't know well. But over the time that they spent talking in that living room area, she got to know them all really quite well. Which was reassuring that she'd get along well with them all. Always a good thing to know, that factor. Ailyn didn't even think about where Craig and Macy had run off to. The thoughts hadn't entered her mind once since they disappeared back into the bunk hall. Hell, she didn't even notice that time had passed until she started feeling hungry and the bus slowed to a stop beneath them. "...Has it really been a few hours?" She muttered, asking herself more than anyone else that question. She swallowed, chewing on her lower lip as she looked around. Ailyn poked her gaze outside the window and, sure enough, they had stopped moving and were now in LA. She could tell because it looked absolutely nothing like Vegas and just screamed "Welcome to Hollywood!" Excitement flooded through her as she turned to Max and grinned at him as he hopped off the couch. She watched him bounce about and snickered to herself, liking him all the more now for that peppy personality of his right now. 'He's so cute!' She gushed to herself, grinning as she moved to stand as well, stretching her long arms overhead and arching her back to create a few satisfying pops before she relaxed.

Max proceeded to explain that they should get ready and Ai nodded, smiling to herself softly. And then the question came about. "Where's Craig?" Oh wait. Where was her cousin? She turned around, expecting to find him lounging in a chair or something like the four of them had previously been doing. "I have no idea..." she muttered to herself, shrugging as she turned back to Max. Said bassist was currently looking between her and the bunk hall. A smirk fell upon her face as she realized that cousin of hers had to have passed out. Spaz. "He's your cousin." Max declared and Ailyn rolled her eyes. "You want me to wake the b*****d up?" She stated quite simply. "It appears that's the case, Ailyn." Robert stated from beside her and she smirked, rolling her eyes again and moving past Max. "He really isn't that scary when you wake him up, you know," she muttered to herself, shaking her head in disappointment that she was going to have to deal with that responsibility. Waking that kid up was probably going to become her new job or something while on tour. It already started this morning, and here she was again. About to wake the sleeping "monster." Honestly, she didn't understand why Max or anyone else didn't want to do it, it wasn't that hard to avoid getting hit or yelled at.

Coming up on Craig's bunk, Ailyn bent down to stare into the empty bunk. "Uh..." She stated, standing up rather confused before turning her head and seeing that Craig was curled up with Macy. She resisted the urge to begin gushing as she grinned and crouched down at the edge of that bunk, poking her cousin in the back. He groaned and moved an arm to swat at her. Ailyn's eyes rolled in her head as she poked her cousin again. "Craig. Get your fat a** out of bed. Time to get up and play. You should probably wake up, too, Macy." Ailyn added, nodding as she stood from her crouched position and turned around, leaving the bunk hall to walk back into the living room area. "Wanna show me around, Max?" She asked, smiling over at the boy as she grabbed at his hand, entwining her fingers with his and dragging him off the bus with her. There was a grin on her face as she stepped out into the warm Los Angeles air. She could smell the city smog and, although that was a slight downer, took a deep breath of it. Nice fresh air! Yay! That was, however, when she decided to turn and look down the bus to the others. Her face dropped. She dropped Max's hand in favor of crossing her arms over her chest and glaring over at the boy that had just departed from the bus behind them. "Oh you have got to be ******** kidding me..." she growled, obviously unhappy. The figure that had just gotten off the bus behind them was none other than Shawn Milke. Guitarist and singer for the band Alesana, and the ex-boyfriend of one Ailyn Cordalis.

The girl immediately turned around, shoving her way past Max and the other two to get back on the bus, fuming anger through every particle of her being. Ailyn made a beeline for the bunk that Craig was still curled up in. He was awake, but didn't appear to be wanting to move anytime soon. "Craig Edward Mabbitt! You ******** b*****d!" The girl hissed, taking in a few deep breaths to try and calm herself. It wasn't really working the best. He turned towards her, sleepy dark eyes rather confused as to why she was angry. "Ailyn? Wha...what's wrong?" He managed to get out before the girl grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him out of Macy's bunk. She'd apologise for ruining their moment later. Right now, she needed to know why that short little cousin of hers had decided to neglect to tell her the fact that they were touring with Alesana. Of all bands, it just had to be Alesana, didn't it? "What the ******** is wrong with you!? Do you know who we're touring with!?" She growled, lowering her face to look her cousin in the eye. His face fell as she continued to hold him hostage with her fingers tangled in his shirt. "Alesana and Mayday Parade but..." Realisation seemed to hit him as he spoke the band names. His face falling more. "Shawn... ********, Ailyn! I didn't mean to! I'm sorry!" He defended, raising his hands in surrender to the girl. "You didn't mean to!? That's you're excuse!?" "Sorry that I forgot to tell you we were touring with your ex-boyfriend! I didn't mean to!" He defended and Ailyn growled again, dropping her cousin and breathing heavily as she reached a hand up to tug at her blue hair.

"And why didn't you tell Macy about that!? I would be yelling at her, but she didn't ******** know! You knew, Craig! Not only did you know, but you neglected to tell me that you knew!" She continued, her voice a low growl as she shouted at her cousin. He looked about ready to crawl in a hole and die. She almost felt bad about killing the moment that he and Macy were having, but at this point, she really couldn't give even the remotest part of a s**t. She pulled at her hair again, groaning as she turned towards the wall and began hitting her head against the little space of wall between bunks. "What do you expect me to do, Craig? Ignore him!? Because that is really going to ******** work!" She growled, turning her head to stare at her cousin through slit eyes. "Ailyn...calm down. We'll figure something out, I promise! You won't have to say two words to Shawn! I swear!" Craig exclaimed, hovering over Ailyn while staying far enough away from her so that he wouldn't get slapped or something. "Craig. You're dead." She grumbled, turning around and storming away back off the bus. Her hands were balled in fists still and she really wanted to punch something. Or, rather, someone. And that someone just so happened to be Shawn Milke.

so hold your h e a d hold it up high

                  so now you're r u n n i n g, it's hard to see clearly
                  when i make you a n g r y, you're stuck in the past
                  and now you're s c r e a m i n g, so can you forgive me?
                  i've treated you b a d l y, but I am still here

Craig was glad that Macy let the subject that he was about to bring up drop. That was a relief. He had absolutely no idea what he would have said had she pressed on. But it seemed that she was too tired to protest him into telling her. How was he supposed to tell her that he had a huge crush on her? "Oh, by the way? I totally love you. Date me?" Yes. Because that was going to go down oh so well. Sighing, Craig's thoughts continued to travel down that path as he held Macy to him, smiling as her breathing deepened with the sleep that overcame her. Another sigh escaped his lips as he allowed his thoughts to simmer down and his lids grow heavy. The voices down the hall became background noise as he let his exhaustion overtake him. Damn. He wouldn't have realized how tired he really was had Macy not invited him into her bunk to lay with her. Well, now she was sleeping and he was headed htat way. He stifled a yawn unsuccessefully as he closed his eyes and finally allowed himself to sleep. He slept dreamlessly, catching back up on the sleep that he'd lost that night no thanks to Max. He was sleeping pretty deeply, until Macy started to move about and jerked about. When that started, he opened his eyes and looked down at her, sighing and yawning again as he looked down at her wearily.

Macy jerked again and he saw her eyes open as he yawned yet again. She lay back down and Craig wrapped her up in his arms once again, smiling contentedly to himself as she nestled back into his embrace. He was really quite enjoying the feeling of having her in his grasp. Finally... She apologized for waking him up and he shook his head in protest. "Mmm... It's fine, Macy..." He stated, the tired edge to his voice leading to the fact that he was not willing to wake up yet. "Don't worry about it." He muttered, smiling and nestling back into the warm embrace of sleeping next to Macy. However, that was all to be screwed over. He just managed to get to sleep again before someone was poking him. Groaning, he reached a hand over the girl sleeping with him to swat over at the mysterious figure trying to get him to wake up. Oh. It was Ailyn. Of course. Ugh...that b***h... He sighed, groaning as she told him and Macy to get up. "Go away..." He muttered, turning his head to look over his shoulder at where his cousin should have been. However, she had disappeared and he could hear her talking to the guys. Rolling his eyes, Craig rolled back over and nestled into Macy's bed comfortably once again. It was really warm and cozy in here, and he was quite enjoying sleeping. Who cared if he should get ready for their concert? Bah...sleep was more important, wasn't it? He needed energy for that damn concert, didn't he? Indeed he did...

That was when, just as soon as he'd allowed himself to drift off to sleep again, his full name was adressed by his cousin and he knew he was in for some deep s**t by the tone of her voice. What did he do now? He didn't do anything, did he? He rolled over, turning towards his cousin and gazing at her with weary eyes. "Ailyn? Wha...what's wrong?" He asked, blinking away the bleariness to see his cousin fuming over him. Next thing he knew, he was being dragged away form Macy and the warmth that she and her bunk provided. Ailyn's hands were clutching the thin fabric of his t-shirt and he had a feeling that if he wasn't standing on his own right now, albeit wobbly, said shirt would have probably just been ripped in a few places. Which would not have made him happy in the least. "What the ******** is wrong with you!? Do you know who we're touring with!?" The growl was threatening enough, and Craig blinked, face falling as he answered her as quickly as he could. "Alesana and Mayday Parade but..." And then he realized what the hell was wrong with that statement of his. s**t. There was that little inkling problem that Ailyn had had with Alesana's guitarist. s**t. Yeah, he was most definitely in for it... "Shawn... ********, Ailyn! I didn't mean to, I'm sorry!" Awareness seemed to overtake him as he realized just what he had done wrong. How the hell could he forget to tell her about that? She should have been prepared to run into Shawn. She should have had the chance to deny the request for her joining the tour knowing that her ex was going to be there.

Dear god he was a jackass! "You didn't mean to!? That's you're excuse!?" Oh yeah. He was a jackass. He was, most definitely, going to win jackass of the year award with this one... "Sorry that I forgot to tell you we were touring with your ex-boyfriend! I didn't mean to!" He muttered, sincerity in his voice as he spoke to his cousin. Her glare didn't let up and he was pretty damn sure those gold-silver eyes of hers would have killed him if they could. They were pretty damn close to it already. She growled and dropped his shirt, letting him go. He sighed, rubbing at his collar worriedly. "And why didn't you tell Macy about that!? I would be yelling at her, but she didn't ******** know! You knew, Craig! Not only did you know, but you neglected to tell me that you knew!" She growled again and Craig sighed, hanging his head and running a hand through his hair, slightly frustrated. His cousin began hitting her head against the wall and he looked up at her, feeling like absolute s**t for doing this to her. She asked him what he wanted her to do and he shrugged, not really having an answer to that. "Ailyn...calm down. We'll figure something out, I promise! You won't have to say two words to Shawn! I swear!" Craig exclaimed, hovering slightly and ready to hug his cousin into submission if need be. However, he stayed far enough away so that he wouldn't get smacked.

Ailyn proclaimed that he was dead and Craig sighed, running a hand through his hair again as he watched her turn around and storm back off the bus. [******** my life..."
He muttered, moving to sit back down onto Macy's bunk, hoping that she wouldn't mind him sitting there at all. He couldn't believe that he had neglected to tell Ailyn that the ex-boyfriend who had left her in a not-at-all nice way was touring with them. He was an idiot and he was an official jackass. Wonderful...

                  you o p e n e d up into my arms
                  and we l a u g h e d as i held you
                  i'll n e v e r go back to georgia
                  not at l e a s t till i have to

Being back on tour was an exciting experience. Getting to spend her time with the wonderful boys of Mayday Parade, the group of her best friends, was definitely one of the best things that she could do. Honestly, she was loving life right now. The one thing that would make things better would be if Derek would stop being a spaz and just let everyone sleep. Although, the girl curled up in her bunk was cuddling a pillow and ignoring the world. Instead, favoring it for her dream world in which she was snuggling, not a pillow, but Alex Garcia. The boy sleeping across from her and who was, currently, being woken up by the pestering lead singer. There was a soft smile on the girl's face as she nuzzled her head deeper into the pillow, hugging it to her chest tightly and happily. If only it really was the dark-haired boy across from her... Oh yeah. That would be so much better. But they were best friends, that was how it worked out. She sighed into her pillow, smiling again as she murmurmed indecipherable phrases to herself. That was when, in the middle of her absolutely perfect dream in which she was just about to place a kiss upon the lips of the guitarist that some b*****d had decided to shake her shoulder and get her to wake up. She groaned, protesting against it as she snuggled into the pillow a little more. "Wake up sleepy head, we're in California." Came Alex's voice and whatever annoyances that the sleeping girl had towards that person waking her up disappeared as she smiled and blinked her eyes open.

"Meh..." Was the girl's protest to waking up as her lids peeled back to reveal weary silver-green eyes. Alex disappeared and Wednesday sighed, curling back into the pillow and willing sleep to come back to her. However, it was not to be. Sleep was not going to be coming back to her anytime soon. "Damnit..." She muttered, grumbling to herself as she drew away from her pillow and shoved her dark brown hair out of her face. She sighed, giving a little whining noise as she attempted to draw away from the fact that she had to be awake. She yawned, stretching her arms in front of her as she sat hunched in her bunk. Her eyelids were still heavy as she, literally, crawled out of her bunk and down the hall to the bathroom. She relieved herself and was glad that they had running water in the bus as she washed her hands and washed her face. Yawning, she leaned against the sink and stared at her reflection in the mirror. Ugh. She looked like absolute crap. The girl made her way back to her bunk quietly, grabbing her hairbrush out of one of the drawers beneath the bunks, along with a change of clothes and a few butterfly hairclips. She walked back into the bathroom, closing the door behind her as she began dragging the brush through her hair, sorting through the tangles that had come about from her sleeping. When she was done, her long dark hair fell down to the bottom of her shoulder blades in soft, permanent waves. Sighing, the girl grabbed her hair and parted it in half, braiding that half and letting it sit just over her shoulder, tieing it with one of the hair-bands around her wrist before repeating the process with the other half of her hair.

Top it off with a few selected orange, black, and white butterfly clips, and her hair was done. Now just to finish the rest of that outfit. She heard footsteps back on the bus and she quietly peeked her head out of the bathroom to see Alex walk past. A grin formed on the girl's face as she slid out of the bathroom, sneaking up behind him and jumping onto his back, grinning and giggling softly as she latched herself on him. "Aaaleeex!" She stated, dragging out the vowels of her best friend's name as she lowered herself back down to the ground. The shy girl grinned up at the boy quietly. "Why did you have to wake me up? I was having a really good dream..." She said, moving back to the bathroom to finish getting ready. It was then that she felt the color rush into her cheeks. She probably shouldn't have talked about her dream. Because knowing Alex, he was probably going to end up pestering her about giving him the full details. And how could she possibly be expected to explain to her best friend that she had just dreamed that she was about to kiss him? Oh yes, because that would certainly go down well. She smiled softly, watching him from the corners of her eyes as she began adding a fresh layer of eyeliner around her eyes. "What doing, Alex?" She asked when she'd finished, smiling and turning her full attention to her friend.

Wednesday abandoned her attempts to get ready in favor of spending time with her best friend. "What's Derek doing? He isn't into everything, is he?" She asked, suddenly worried about what that other friend of hers was getting into. That kid was a trouble maker, that was for sure. She sighed, turning her gaze nervously over to the door before looking back up at Alex. She was quite a few inches shorter than him, but that just made it all the better. Hugs were better and she seemed to fit perfectly into them. In her thoughts, at least. It wasn't like she'd really be telling him that, or anyone else for that matter, anytime soon. But hey, girl could dream and fantasize, couldn't she? She swallowed, smiling softly to herself and her thoughts as she continued to remain silent in front of her best friend. Honestly, she wasn't sure what to say. Her thoughts kept straying back to that dream she'd had during her nap. So, to say the least, it wasn't exactly the easiest to focus on what she should say right now or anything like that.

                  and please don't tell me that i'm d r e a m i n g
                  when all i ever wanted was to dream another s u n s e t with you
                  if i roll over when it's over i'll take this cali s u n r i s e with me
                  and wake up with the fondest m e m o r i e s

                  sunlight warms my face only in d r e a m s of you
                  i know you'll wait for me, it's b e e n too long
beautiful eyes, beautiful lies to d u l l the pain
                  beautiful eyes, beautiful lies, you're k i l l i n g me

The bane of all existence? Touring. Actually, that was a complete and total lie. Touring was fun and full of epic adventures that you wouldn't ever have had you not been touring. Especially when you started that tour across the country from where you had originated. From North Carolina to California. But then again, he was used to being away from home. Any veteran to touring was used to it, thankfully. So, on top of touring around the country - and the world for that matter - nothing was better than doing it with your best buddies. Nothing better than six guys being...well, guys on a bus. Plus a tour manager and a driver, of course, but that was beside the point. Currently, they were having a thumb wrestling tournament. And it had all dwindled down to Shane and Dennis fighting for the "cup." Actually, it was more or less just getting to win a shot bought by the losers after the show tonight, but that was beside the point. "Dude! Come on! The ******** is wrong with you!? I have money lying on your thumb, Dennis!" The guitarist slash singer slash pianist urged the screamer, poking him in the side as he crouched around the two like the other four. "Really? How much?" Dennis asked, turning his head towards his friend. And that was when, in that moment of weakness, Shane took advantage and pinned the screamer's thumb. "Great! God damnit, Dennis! You just lost me ten bucks!" Shawn exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air and standing to his full height, turning around and shaking his head.

Black hair fell into his eyes and he brushed it away impatiently, turning back around to face the triumphant Shane and the not-so-happy Dennis. Shawn shook his head, bringing a hand around to punch his friend lightly in the shoulder. "Douche bag..." He muttered as Patrick held out an expectant hand. Grumbling, Shawn dug out his wallet form his back pocket and pulled out a ten, slapping it in his friend's hand. "Pleasure doing business with you, Mister Milke. I appreciate the donation to the 'Keep Me Alive Fund'. Any other donations you'd like to make?" The guitarist asked and Shawn rolled his eyes, shaking his head and depositing his wallet back into his back pocket. He brought both hands around to flip the bird to the fellow guitarist, shaking his head and sticking his tongue out at him. "Loser." He muttered, glaring down at Dennis, who was currently sitting on the ground and looking up at everyone with a really dorky grin across his face. Rolling his eyes once again, Shawn ran his hands through his hair absent-mindedly before looking over at Shane, who was still looking really quite triumphant. "Thanks for distracting him for me, Shawn. You're awesome." Shane stated and Shawn merely nodded, grinning and reaching over to punch the other boy in the shoulder playfully. "No problem. Anytime, really. Just make sure that I don't actually have a bet going before you win, alright?" He stated, smirking as Shane nodded.

The six boys felt the bus slow to a stop and excitement fluttered around the air like wildfire. Well...alright, so wildfire doesn't really 'flutter,' but whatever. The point being, they were all incredibly excited. They would be touring with Escape the Fate and Mayday Parade for the summer. Now, Shawn hadn't exactly met anyone from those two bands yet. But from what he'd heard, they were all pretty cool people. Fun to party with and everything like that. Not that he'd be partying the entire time they were on tour, but still. They'd have someone to party with if the oppurtunity or desire to do so came about. The bus halted and the need to get out of this damn bus, stretch legs, and just get to get hyped up before the show was pretty much mutual throughout everyone. Not just the band. Their tour manager, Aaron, shoved past them on his way out of the bus and Shawn quickly followed suit, turning to look up the line of buses at Escape the Fate's bus. There, just now having departed from the bus themselves, were a familiar-looking head of blue and a not-so-familiar boy behind the blue haired girl. Shawn paused, tilting his head as he tried to figure out just who it was that the girl was. She wasn't a part of their band, that much he knew. Maybe their tour manager or something? But no, that couldn't be it. When she turned around, a grin on her face that was quickly wiped away when she caught sight of Shawn, he realized who it was. One Miss Ailyn Cordalis. And one ex-girlfriend. What the hell? "Where the ******** did she come from?" Shawn muttered to himself, asking no one in particular.

And then that ex-girlfriend of his, currently glaring at him and having dropped her hand from who he assumed to be Max Green to cross her arms over her chest, stormed away and back onto the bus. However, what Shawn was currently trying to figure out was where the ******** had she come from and why was she on tour with them? He didn't think that she was dating any of them. Though by the way that she had been holding hands with Max while getting off the bus, that always could have been a possibility. But...oh wait, there was the answer. He'd forgotten that Ailyn was Craig's cousin. A strange match in family ties, that's true, but it made sense now. Kind of. Maybe Craig was getting her to see what it was like on the touring seen or something? Eh, who knew. Shawn was rather worried, however, about the fact that Ailyn was back into his life. What the ******** was he supposed to do about that? The rest of the guys piled off the bus and his attention was snapped onto his band members rather than the blast from his past that was roughly a couple hundred feet away from him and inside the bus. "What's wrong, Shawn?" Dennis asked as the twenty-nine year old turned around to face his friends. He shrugged, shaking his head. "Um...nothing. I think Ailyn's with ETF, though. Which is kinda..." "Holy s**t. No way!? Where the ******** did she come from!?" Shane cut in, looking around for the blue-haired young woman. Shawn's response to that? A shrug and a shake of the head.

"That's exactly what I was wondering..." he muttered to no one in particular as they all began to move as a group into the venue. Shawn tagged along, slighlty behind as he tried to make it look like he wasn't thinking about being on tour with his ex-girlfriend. That was certainly going to be an experience. The boys of Alesana made their way to the back, heading through the club to get to the green room and dressing rooms for the bands. Shawn still lagged behind, looking around at the venue to try and distract himself as best he could. That was when he ran into someone making their way across the club. He stopped, stepping back a bit as he looked down at the mysterious girl. "Oh s**t, I'm sorry. You okay?" He asked the girl, smiling down at her softly. She looked vaguely familiar, but he couldn't put a name to the face. For one reason or another, of course. "Shawn! Get your a** back here!" Shane called and he nodded at the girl, moving to quickly jog around her and head back stage.

Coming down off the bus, Ailyn was glad to see that Max was there. Sure, she really wanted to punch something, but seeing Max leaning against the bus waiting for her warmed her heart in a little way. She would have smiled sweetly at him had she not been so pissed off. And the fact that Shawn was no longer outside helped with the fact to simmer down that anger a little bit. Put her on the back burner, she'd had enough with being on the hot stove grill. He grabbed her arm and asked what was wrong. She sighed, shaking her head and running a hand through her hair roughly, the blue strands falling back into place after she did so. The boy began leading her over to the back door of the club and Ailyn frowned, swallowing hard and faltering in her steps slightly. Her eyes frantically dashed between Max and the back door of the club, worry sparking through her. The likelihood of Shawn being back there was incredibly high. And she didn't know if she was going to be able to handle seeing him once again without launching herself after him and biting his head off. Not that the b*****d didn't deserve it, but whatever. The girl, honestly, had no idea what to do or say to him and she didn't know if she was prepared to face him again. However, she could definitely tell that she wasn't prepared if she'd reacted like that with about a thirty-second chance to see him. "Come on! Let's go for a walk before the show!" Oh dear lord that boy was a saint! She smiled softly and nodded eagerly at him, following after him without protest.

It didn't take long to get down to the beach and, thankfully, there weren't a lot of people on this particular stretch of it. That, too, was a relief. She smiled softly as she gazed out over the ocean, feeling the relaxing feeling overcome her bit by bit. However, her thoughts weren't necessarily filled with the most peaceful things. They were currently revolving around Shawn and the relationship they'd had together. It was incredibly...complicated. It was a good relationship, nothing wrong with that there. There was just something missing from it. Not that they weren't both dedicated to one another, the girl just felt like she was more into the relationship than he was. And all those songs? Yeah...because that wasn't obvious. Ailyn definitely loved Shawn with all her heart. And then he just had to turn around and screw her over. He broke up with her and that was that. He'd told her himself that he didn't feel like it was right for him to be in a relationship with her. Well what the ******** was that supposed to mean? Honestly, she felt like she had been the one to do something wrong in that relationship. Hence the reason she'd strayed away from getting incredibly serious relationships lately. Something about being in a relationship again just didn't seem like the right thing to do. And it also made her feel like crap that she'd allowed herself to get led on like that by someone she'd cared about... Something squeezed her hand and she came back to reality and away from her thoughts to see Max standing slightly in front of her. She smiled slightly back at him, her heart racing slightly at the smile he was giving her. Alright, so it was probably completely wrong of her to think of, but she wouldn't mind being in a relationship with Max at his point in her life.

Biting down hard on her lower lip, she sighed and moved closer to him, resting her head on his shoulder and keeping her hold on his hand softly. "Sorry I freaked out...I..." She stated, sighing and pausing to take a few deep breaths. "I...wasn't really prepared to see Shawn again." Came her voice in a lowered tone. Frowning to herself, she sighed again. "And that jackass cousin of mine decided it'd be a good idea not to tell me that we'd be touring with Alesana..." She grumbled, shaking her head before raising it slowly, looking over at Max quietly. 'He smells really friggen good...' She told herself quietly, smirking and blushing slightly at the thought. She moved to set her head back onto Max's shoulder once more. However, her phone began buzzing in her pocket and she sighed, gurmbling and rolled her eyes, fishing it out with her free hand and bringing it to her ear after seeing that it was Craig calling her. "What do you want?" She stated, sighing as she shifted her weight between feet, standing straight once again. "Where are you?" "...I'm jumping off a ******** bridge, Craig. Where do you think I am?" "What's that supposed to mean!? I don't know where to think you are! Robert said that you and Max disappeared!" Ailyn smirked, rolling her eyes and sighing. "We're at the beach. Now what do you want?"

She could tell by the exhasperated sigh that Craig wasn't exactly expecting that answer. "Well...hurry up and get back before Macy finds out. She wants to know if you want to run errands for us tonight or run merch tonight. Or switch off. And she said you could cling to her if you want." Ailyn shrugged lightly at that question, her eyes drifting to look over the ocean once again. "We can switch, if that's fine with her... And tell her thanks, please." "Yeah, will do. Now get back. Max needs to get ready." Craig finished and Ailyn sighed again, nodding before bidding farewell to her cousin. She slid her phone shut and stuffed it back into her pocket, looking over at Max. "So, Mister Rockstar. Shouldn't you be getting ready or something?" She asked, smiling and trying to ignore the itching feeling sneaking back up on her of having to see Shawn all over again. Oh dear god...this was so totally not going to be anywhere remotely close to being okay with her. Sighing again, she swallowed and chewed on her lower lip nervously as she waited for Max to be ready to head out back to the club. However, it was not what she wanted to be doing. No, she'd much rather just be able to stay on the beach with Max and not have to deal with the drama of her personal life's past.

Apparently, feeling like crap constituted getting a giggle from the girl that you had your sights set on. He felt color rush to his cheeks when Macy giggled and Craig was, honestly, really quite glad that she couldn't see his face. Because that would have just been rather embarassing. She lay her head on his back and he smiled, breathing softly and slowly as she did so. Honestly, he didn't mind. Again, he was going to take any closeness he could get with Macy and run with it as far as he could. She offered to keep Ailyn occupied or talk with her and his smile grew as he turned his head slightly so that he could, kind of, see her. "That'd be really awesome if you could do that, Macy. Thank you so much..." He muttered, continuing to keep his head turned so that he could look at her as best he could. "Or if she preferred she could run errands for you guys and I'll take merch for this show, we can trade back and forth, whatever makes her comfortable." The girl said and Craig said, nodding. "I'll ask her about it, thanks Macy. Way sweet of you..." He said, nodding and turning his head back around so that he wouldn't cause his neck to cramp or anything like that. It was incredibly comfortable having Macy lean against him like that. And he would gladly turn around and snuggle with her if they had the time. But that was just the thing, they didn't exactly have the time right now.

The point that they had no time to do whatever they wanted was only proven more when Macy pulled away and proclaimed that he should get ready. He nodded, slowly, and then smirked as the girl appeared at his side. "Honestly, you can't wear that out on stage." She teased before moving to gather things to get ready with. He sighed, rolling his eyes and shrugging. "Aw, why not?!" He whined, looking up at the girl and watching her quietly as she disappeared into the bathroom. Sighing, Craig shook his head and shuffled his hair about, moving to sit on the floor on his knees as he grabbed a bag and began shuffling through the contents of it to try to find something else to wear other than the worn jeans and the tight band t-shirt that he'd thrown on in a rush that morning. He pulled out a couple of new articles of clothing. He stripped from his current shirt before dropping it on his bed and grimacing as he reached for the clean one. He could hear Macy rustling around in the bathroom and he smirked slightly. He threw the shirt over his torso before adjusting it, making sure that it sat the way he wanted it to and that it didn't bunch up anywhere it wasn't supposed to. Yawning, the boy stretched his arms overhead, wondering if he should just leave his current pants on or exchange them for different ones. Eh, screw it. He'd just deal with these pants. It's not like they were incredibly dirty or anything...just worn and torn at the knees. But the majority of his pants were like that, so no big deal. He stuffed the unused clothing back into the bag before shoving it back where he'd gotten it.

That was when Macy came out of the bathroom, grinning. She asked how she looked and he smiled back at her, nodding and refusing to voice his currently thought process. 'Gorgeous as ever...' Was what was going through his head as he looked at Macy. Of course, he pretty much always thought that, but Macy was beautiful as it was. "You look awesome, Macy." He said with a nod, smiling over at her. She came out of the bathroom and he stepped around her to get there himself. Ugh. He looked like hell. Rolling his eyes, he grabbed a random brush from the countertop and began dragging it through his hair, arranging it the way he liked it around his face, making it fall more towards the right side of his face. He set the brush back onto the counter and then went out of the bathroom, looking over at Macy. "I should probably go make sure that Ailyn isn't killing anyone. I'll be back in like...thirty seconds..." He informed her, nodding before getting off the bus. Probably something that he shouldn't have done, but he did it anyways. Looking around, he saw Robert and Bryan outside the club's back door. Walking over to them, he stood back a few feet so that he didn't have to crane his neck to look at them both. "So he lives, does he?" Robert stated and Bryan smirked, snickering as Craig could feel the light blush come back into his cheeks. He rolled his eyes and sighed. "Where's Ailyn?" He asked, looking between the two of his friends quietly. They both shrugged and a string of panic shot through him. "I don't know. Max and her disappeared after she came off that bus." Robert supplied and Craig sighed, rolling his eyes and reaching for his phone as he began walking back towards the bus.

He called up Ailyn, waiting the few impatient rings that it took for her to answer the phone. And it wasn't an all-too-nice answer, either. Sighing, Craig rolled his eyes at her greeting of 'what do you want?' So, apparently, Max wasn't doing the best job at calming her down. She still sounded pretty pissed off. "Where are you?" There was as much genuine worry as he could get into his voice and Ailyn's response wasn't exactly something that he wanted to hear. Jumping off a bridge? Well, that was no good. Of course, he could tell the sarcasm in her voice and that caused him to frown slightly. "What's that supposed to mean!? I don't know where to think you are! Robert said that you and Max disappeared!" He exclaimed, frowning as the worry for his cousin and friend were taking over him. "We're at the beach. Now what do you want?" Oh great, because that was going to go over well with Macy to know that their bassist and his cousin had skipped off to the beach together. He sighed, running his free hand through his hair. "Well...hurry up and get back before Macy finds out. She wants to know if you want to run errands for us tonight or run merch tonight. Or switch off. And she said you could cling to her if you want." He explained to her, hoping and praying that they weren't going to be taking any longer than necessary to get back to the club from the beach. Because Macy would surely have his head if she found out. Not something that he was looking forward to, having Macy pissed off at him once again.

Ailyn gave him an answer and he nodded slowly. "Yeah, will do. Now get back. Max needs to get ready." He said before saying goodbye to his cousin and closing his phone, stuffing it back in his pocket and looking over to see that Robert and Bryan had disappeared from the back of the club. They must have gone inside or something while he was on the phone. Hm. Well then! Craig sighed, turning back to get back on the bus. "Hey Macy? Ai said that she'd like to switch if that's fine with you. And she says thanks." He relayed the information, smiling softly as he walked through the bus.

When her best friend came into the bathroom and caught sight of what his hair looked like, Wednesday laughed softly. "Oh my GOD! Wendy, let me see your brush! The ferrets have been digging at the back of my hair again!" He exclaimed and she laughed again, grabbing her brush and handing it over to him qiuetly. God her best friend was such a dork...but hey, that was what she loved about him. "Here, love. I told you not to bring the ferrets on board. Why don't you ever listen to me?" She stated, grinning as she set her brush back down on the counter when he didn't take it and turning back to the mirror to continue applying makeup. He responded to her question as he moved to steal her brush from the counter and attack the back of his head with it. There was a smirk upon her face as she continued with her makeup. "What are you doing?" He asked and she smirked, rolling her eyes and pausing in her application of eyeliner to look up at him. "Putting eyeliner on." Wednesday stated rather matter-of-factly. There was a small smirk upon her lips as she finished up and turned to watch Alex battle the monster at the back of his head with her brush. He left the bathroom seemingly satisfied and her eyes followed him quietly, a small smile still upon her lips. She stepped out of the bathroom slightly, leaning on the door frame with her arms crossed over her chest quietly. She kind of felt like a creeper, watching Alex like she was. But oh well...that was something she'd get over soon enough.

A light smirk was upon her face as she watched him dig around in his bag. She asked what Derek was doing and was granted with a response that made her chuckled and nod in agreement. "What do you think Wendy? He’s always into something, he’s like a kitten… or a baby." He said and she couldn't help to agree. "Yeah, I know. He's...like our own personal puppy. Think we should get him a collar and leash for his birthday?" She asked, smiling softly as Alex seemed to find what he was looking for. A can of Axe. He proclaimed his find and she couldn't help but to chuckle slightly at him. Rolling her eyes and tearing her eyes away from her friend, she went back into the bathroom to continue getting ready. A few moments later, while Wednesday was in the middle of rearranging the butterflies clipped into her hair, Alex showed up in the doorway, wondering what her dream was about. The girl faultered, her eyes darting over to where her best friend was standing in the door as a slow blush crept into her cheeks. "Nothing." She stated, shaking her head and turning towards him, grabbing one of her braids in her hand and tugging on it slightly. "I can't remember what happened in it anymore. I just know that it was a really good dream." She stated, nodding slightly as she looked up at Alex, her cheeks still holding a light blush in their light olive tone.

How the hell was she supposed to tell Alex that her good dream that he'd torn her away form was one in which she was about to kiss him? He was her best friend, had been for years and years and years. Since before she could remember, it seemed. They'd known eachother as long as she'd known her own family. Growing up together, it was a little hard not to know eachother. Especially when they were neighbors and their parents were basically best friends as well. Yeah, Alex and her went way back. She'd be there for him through thick and thin always. Through relationships and heart break, they were there for eachother. The only problem with that, was the fact that Wednesday was head over heels in love with the boy. But did she think he felt the same? She knew that he loved her, but not in the way that she loved him. There was a line between relationship love and the love shared with friends and family. And the girl was pretty damn sure she was on the side of that line that was reserved for family and friends. Not necessarily a large problem with that, but it was complicated when you loved someone and they didn't love you back. It was...hard, to say the least. But would she ever want the friendship she had with Alex to get ruined? Hell no! If anything happened between them to cause them to not be friends any more, she'd probably end up dieing right then and there. Which would not have been a good thing, honestly. And besides, had their friendship been screwed, Wednesday probably would have gotten screwed with being friends with everyone else. Speaking of everyone else...

"We should probably go make sure that Derek isn't doing something that could get everyone in trouble tonight." She said, smiling up at her friend as she attempted to change the subject. She grabbed Alex's hand, slinking around him out of the bathroom and out into the main part of the bus. "I should help Low with getting the merch stand set up, too..." She said, more to herself than Alex. The show wasn't incredibly close, but it was close enough that she needed to have everyone ready and everything ready by the time that it did start so that she wouldn't have to deal with the disappointment of being rushed around all the damn time. "That and we need to make sure that the puppy isn't off roaming somewhere..." She said, nodding as they walked off the bus together. She sighed, taking in the scents around her. The salty tang of the ocean spread about her and a small grin spread across her face as she thought about the ocean. Somewhere she'd really like to run down to and just forget about the complications of friends and managing a band.

                  and please don't tell me that i'm d r e a m i n g
                  when all i ever wanted was to dream another s u n s e t with you
                  if i roll over when it's over i'll take this cali s u n r i s e with me
                  and wake up with the fondest m e m o r i e s

The familiar girl nodded at his question of whether or not she was okay or not. Well, that was good at least. God! Where the hell did he know her from!? That thought was going to keep haunting him for the rest of the night, until he put a name to that face. However, he didn't have the time to go search through his thoughts and memories for her name. Shane called his name and told him to get his a** back there. Sighing, the boy rolled his eyes and took off, forgetting to bid the mysterious woman farewell. He'd probably end up seeing her after the show as it was, but whatever. Maybe then he'd have the chance to get a name or something like that? Maybe... He made his way to the back of the club, sighing and running a hand through his hair as he ran into the rest of the guys. "Where'd Dennis run off to?" He asked when he noticed that the screamer wasn't around. He got a shrug in response and then sighed, looking around for his friend. Apparently, the kid had managed to disappear well. Sighing, he shrugged and then looked around the green room. Nothing too fancy, honestly. There were a few doors scattered around the walls leading to different rooms. One of those doors was open, revealing the slowly-setting sun and the buses in the distance. Light filtered into the dimly-lit room they were currently in from the outside.

Voices could be heard from outside the door and he saw Craig Mabbitt, the lead singer of Escape the Fate, speaking with someone on the other side of the door. "Where's Ailyn?" The younger man asked and Shawn became intrigued. How the hell did her cousin not know where she was? Didn't she go back on the bus? Shawn sighed, shaking his head and returning his attention to his friends. "So did you find out why Ailyn's here?" Patrick asked and the boy shrugged, shaking his head. "Nope. Craig's her cousin, and I don't know if she's dating anyone from the band, so yeah. She could be here for any reason, really." He shrugged again as Shane reached over and poked his shoulder. "How do you feel about that?" The guitarist asked and the twenty-nine year old merely shrugged, not really sure about that. Having his ex-girlfriend go through touring with them wasn't exactly on his to-do list. But he'd be decent to her because she deserved that much after all that he'd put her through. Honestly, he felt pretty bad about that whole entire relationship. "I don't know. I mean, it'll be awkward. Not exactly ideal, but whatever. I'll deal." He said, shrugging again and stuffing his hands into his pockets. His thoughts were currently switching between trying to put a face to the girl he'd run into a few moments ago and the relationship he'd had with the blue-haired young woman.

Shawn and Ailyn had dated for the rough span of a few months. They were both fairly happy. For the most part, at least. However, in Shawn's case, he just couldn't submit himself fully to the relationship. It just...wasn't right for him. Now, not to get him wrong, he did care about Ailyn. But it just wasn't love. He didn't love her and he felt bad that he'd lied to her throughout the stretch of that relationship. What held Shawn back? Oh just a girl that had left her life behind without telling anyone goodbye. It was rather disappointing, honestly, that she left. He was about to ask her out when she left with her little boyfriend. He couldn't express how much that hurt him, her leaving... He'd been determined since then to find her, find out where she was and what had happened to her. He'd kind of given up a few times, figuring her for dead. But then there'd be some little indication that she was still somewhere out in the world. He just needed to find her... So yes...that was why Shawn's head wasn't entirely in the relationship with Ailyn. His heart had belonged to Kimi ever since she left. Well, before she left, but that was beside the point. He never told Ailyn about the girl that he was in love with, but he simply told her that it wasn't working out for him to be in a relationship. That it was wrong of him to be in a relationship with her. And it was, honestly. Especially since his head had never really been in it in the first place. He'd always felt terrible for hurting her and leading her on, and asking that girl out was definitely one thing, among many, that he regretted.

Shawn sighed and came out of his brooding thoughts, turning his attentions on his friends and trying to figure out who that girl was. It was annoying him badly that he couldn't remember her. He had that feeling, deep in his gut, that he should have known who that was. But he didn't and that just made everything worse. Along with the fact that she was probably important to him and his life in some way that he didn't know of yet. Sighing, he ran a hand through his hair before stuffing it back into his pocket. And that was when, in between all of the conversation around him, Dennis came strolling up with a light grin on his face. "There you are. What the hell were you doing?" He asked, looking over at the screamer expectantly. The man merely shrugged, obviously not really having an answer. "Nothing. Just talking." Hm. Well that wasn't incredibly unusual for him, so Shawn would let him slide with that answer. Shrugging, the singer returned to his thoughts, foregoing his normally talkative self. Wait a second. The face was all too familiar. So like Kimi's that it was almost scary. He'd understand her changing hair colors and what not, so that made snese. But the fact that she had different colored eyes was completely throwing him off. It couldn't possibly be Kimi because of those eyes. Unless...? "Hey, Dennis?" He asked, a confused look coming upon his face. "Yo." Taking a deep breath, Shawn felt a light bulb go off in the back of his head. It must have been Kimi, there was no other way. And Dennis probably saw her, too! "You didn't happen to see...ugh, nevermind. I'm just going crazy. Ignore me..." He said, shrugging and shaking his head casually. It couldn't be her. It just wasn't possible.

Sleep. Absolutely nothing better than getting to just curl up and loose all your troubles in the world of dreams. No drama or love life problems. Just plain, simple relaxation. Again, no worries or anything like that. No broken hearts or shattered dreams. Just...peace and perfection. Yeah...too bad real life isn't like dreams. An annoying beep could be heard penetrating through the girl's sleeping patterns as she rolled over comfortably in her warmth of her collection of pillows and blankets. Her bed was basically a nest of comfy things. Stuffed animals here, a couch cushion beneath her head for a pillow while her normal pillows were the ones she cuddled with. She hated feeling alone while she slept and so there she was. Surrounded by pillows on her queen-sized bed, she got the feeling that she wasn't alone. Being a romantic, the feeling of being alone was never something she enjoyed. Ever since that almost-marriage and having a bed to herself all over again, the girl wasn't fond of staying alone for long. The beeping continued as she sighed, reaching over the pile of pillows to smack around at the bed-side table, trying to find the alarm. Her fingers found it, finding the snooze button quickly before snaking her hand back to her warm little nest of blankets. "Meh..." she groaned, rolling around some more before the alarm began going off again. Five minutes had passed already? How the hell was that possible?! Sighing, she peeled back her lids over her icy blue eyes and glared at the clock. Eight-oh-five stared her back in the blue digital numbers and she sighed, reaching over to silence the annoying and incessant beeping.

"Ugh... Je déteste des matins..." The French girl muttered to herself as she stared at the white wall across from her bed. Sighing, she reached her hand over to her head, tossing her hair out of her eyes as she sat up slowly. Another sigh escaped her lips as she looked around her bare room. All of Low's things were gone... They had been for the last year that he'd been married to her ex-best friend. Thinking about it, she felt tears come to her eyes and another piece of her heart shatter. Grumbling to herself, she wiped at her eyes with the back of her hand angrily, frowning heavily before tugging at her hair. "Damnit, Cerise..." She muttered, shaking her head and ignoring the stray strands of hair that fell into her eyes. sighing, the young woman crawled out of her bed and onto the floor, sighing as she crawled her way out of her lonely bedroom and across the hall into the bathroom. She stripped from her loose tanktop and shorts and the underwear she wore while sleeping. She then proceeded to climb into the shower and bathe. Her long light brown hair with it's blonde highlights was washed and conditioned. Along with the rest of her, of course. The girl sighed as she shut off the water, a yawn escaping her lips as she reached over to the towel rack for a pale blue, fluffy towel. Cerise Victoire Rousseau wrapped it around her body as she slid the dark blue shower curtain along the bar that held it up. She swallowed her emotions as she stared at herself in the fogged mirror. For now, she was simply a darkened sillhouette made up of varying shades of pale brown thanks to the fog on the mirror.

Cerise made her way back to her room, glancing at the clock to see that it was now eight-twenty. She still had about forty minutes to finish getting ready and get to work. Honestly, she was quite excited about going to work today. Getting to see her crush and the boy that she was willing to give dating another try for. However, the only problem with that? She didn't really see how she was important to him at all. He, more than likely, didn't even notice her and she was just setting herself up for disappointment. Being who she was, Cerise was the time to get her hopes up high for something that she wanted before it even had the slightest possibility of happening. Dropping her towel to the floor, she walked over to her dresser and grabbed her clothing for the day. This included a simple white bra, white socks, and a pair of light blue panties, along with various other articles of clothing. She dropped them on the corner of her bed before she picked up her towel and finished drying off, dropping her towel on the floor once again and standing upon it while she got dressed. Her outfit for that particular day consisted of a simple pair of slightly-baggy jeans that hung off her hips loosely. She would have added a belt had she known where the hell her belts were at that moment. That happened, though. She'd loan something out to her friends and then forget about it and not ever get it returned. So they were left hanging off her hips and she'd probably be pulling them up constantly over the course of the work day. Fun. The bonus to the jeans that didn't really fit, though, was that they covered the entirety of her long legs, even if they didn't fit her waist. Clothing and her body type didn't mix at all. Never had and probably never would, honestly.

As for her torso, Cerise had pulled a simple black tank top over her slender form and a turquoise, black, and white over-shirt. It was unbuttoned, revealing the black shirt beneath and providing a nice cotton addition to her outfit. Dressed in the basics, the young woman went back into the bathroom, staring at her reflection and sighing. Her damp hair needed to be dried desperately. She grabbed another towel from the rack, this one a slightly darker shade than the one she'd used to dry the rest of her off, bending over and wrapping it around her hair, rubbing the strands together to try and soak up as much water as she possibly could before twisting the parts of the towel that weren't currently wrapped around her skull, flipping it over the back of her head as she stood. It was that classic female way to wrap hair on a towel, honestly. A few more minutes, and she'd sort through those light brown tresses of hers. Heading back to her room, she found her light grey VANs and slipped them onto her feet, not bothering with re-tying the already tied laces. Oh the joys of being lazy and having stretched out shoes enough to not have to continue dealing with the laces! There was a small smile upon her face as she wiggled her toes in the confined space. Her blue eyes darted back over to the silver clock on her nightstand. She still had another thirty minutes to finish getting ready and to get her but down over to Affirmation, the café that she worked at. She could hear the light pitter-patter of rain now on her window sill and she sighed. Great. Weather to match her current mood. Just what she didn't need.

A shake of the head and a few more sighs later, the girl was back in the bathroom accessorizing while her hair still sat piled up on her head beneath the towel. She stared at herself in the mirror as she applied the light blue powder that made up the eyeshadow she would be wearing that day. It made her wide blue eyes expand a little more and she frowned at that fact, wondering if she should just change the color of her make up to something like silver or something that wouldn't make her eyes look any bigger than they were. Instead, she just applied a rather thick rim of eyeliner around her eyes, thinning out the blue and making her eyes pop again and better than they had been. Smiling to herself, she felt satisfied with her appearance as she began to unwrap her hair. It fell in a messy mop around her face and she frowned, reaching half-blinded by her hair for the comb on the sink counter. It took about ten minutes to sort through all the tangles and snags that had come about from her keeping her hair the way that she had. It was eight-fifty by the time she was fully complete and ready to go down to Affirmation. She'd more than likely be early, but that was okay with her. The less time she had to spent in her house alone, the better for her sanity. Even though the incident had happened a year ago, she still hadn't fully recovered. Would you be able to recover from your love leaving seven days to being joined together at the altar for your best friend? Yeah, didn't think so. Cerise was most certainly one of those unable to move on from that incident.

The romantic girl sighed as she opened up the hall closet, pulling out a light leather jacket and throwing it over her shoulders, sticking her arms thorugh the sleeves and tugging it close to her body. She wasn't about to bother with blow-drying her hair. It'd dry with time and with the rain being as sporatic as it was right now, drying it wasn't going to do her any good at this point. She sighed, pulling her hair out of the back of the jacket and letting it lay limp down her back and around her shoulders, tucked safely behind her ears. She grabbed her cellphone, house keys, and wallet as she walked through her apartment one last time, ensuring that she had absolutely everything she'd need for the day. With a sigh, Cerise made her way out of the apartment and onto the landing, heading down the stairs and into the parking lot. Forgoing the need to drive to work, the woman walked down the couple block span from her home to the café. It was a luxury, living so close to where she worked. She felt safer at night and she was allowed a little more sleep in the mornings. Grabbing her key ring from her jacket pocket, the girl found the one to open the door of the café, picking it out from the four keys that she actually had. The rest of that keyring was a collection of keychains that were pretty useless. But she kept them attatched because they all had some sort of meaning to her. Well...not really, but she thought they were cute, so that was enough for her. Smiling to herself, she opened the door and breathed in the familiar scents of coffee. Moving to the back, Cerise flicked on the lights and then slid her jacket off her shoulders, hanging it on the rack in the store slash break room before heading back to the front of the store. As usual, Cerise was the first into work. Now to just wait for everyone else...

Another day spent in the hell hole known only as school. But hey, there was a bonus to that. It was Friday and she could do whatever the hell she wanted for the next two days. Rain was falling down outside as she stared at the clock on the wall, waiting for those last seconds to pass by before the bell rang and she could leave. Just a few more ticks of the clock and she'd be home free. Well...free. She didn't exactly want to go home right now. Dealing with her step mother wasn't exactly something that she really wanted to do at this moment. The longer she could do that, the better. The bell rang and relief poured off of the eighteen year old girl as she brushed her black bangs away from her face and gathered her bag, slinging it over her shoulder and taking off into the halls. Her cell phone buzzed in her pocket and she sighed, pulling it from that pocket and seeing that her boyfriend was calling her. Great... Just who she wanted to deal with right now. Sighing, she paused in her walking, moving off to the side of the hall so as to not cause any real problems, as she flipped open her phone and brought it to her ear. "Hello?" She asked, her heart sinking into her stomach instead of racing ahead of her like it should be. It was her boyfriend calling her, not some creepy stranger or someone that she hated. But no. Lately, the relationship just hadn't been meaning much to her. "Hey, babe. What're you doing this weekend?" He asked and she sighed, her eyes darting around frantically to find some excuse to make. He knew that she never had any homework thanks to her easy schedule of three art classes, english, and a free period, so there was no way that was going to work.

Her thoughts quickly landed on her best friend, Ray. It had been a while since they'd hung out together and that would be the perfect thing to tell her boyfriend. Besides, her best friend in the world had a girlfriend of his own, so that boyfriend of hers really shouldn't think anything about it. She smiled, thinking of her best friend. And her heart even began to thunder, slowly, to life. "Um...I was going to hang out with Ray this weekend, Jake. I thought I told you that?" Well, that was a complete and total lie. She hadn't even made plans or anything for that, she was just using it, for now, as an excuse. And a pretty damn good one in her mind. However, she would call up that best friend of hers and see if she could make that excuse turn into reality. That would, honestly, mean the absolute world to her. "Oh. No, you didn't, Rozz. You aren't hanging out with him all weekend are you?" Oh great...cue in the over-protective boyfriend. Sighing, the girl began walking down the hall again, shrugging slightly. "I don't know. Probably not, but I don't know what else my dad has planned for this weekend, so I can't really give you an answer. I'll probably be babysitting the twins all weekend. Sorry, J." She said, trying to put as much sincerity into her voice as possible. She prayed that he couldn't see through her lie or anything like that. If he did, everything would be completely ruined for her. Jake would, honestly, probably break up with her if he found out that she'd been avoiding him for the last few weeks. But she couldn't necessarily help it at this point...

Why couldn't she help that she'd been avoiding her boyfriend for the last few weeks? Wasn't she supposed to be that devoted girlfriend that did everything for their man and was always there to love and support him? Well...she was supposed to, but love comes in funny ways. And for the last few weeks, Roslyn Rose Cordalis had been in the process of discovering that she was, in fact, not in love with her boyfriend like she should be. No, instead she was falling fast and hard for her best friend. One Ramone Wynn was the cause of her heart's thundering. Not her devoted boyfriend, Jake. The problem with that? Not only was Ray her best friend, but he was also taken. Yes, the boy had a girlfriend of his own and that just wasn't working out in her favor. "No, it's fine. I just really wanted to see you. My mom wanted to make dinner and everything for you, too." He said and her guilty conscience kicked in. She sighed, pausing in her quest to walk through the mostly-empty halls and get out into the rain so that she could either find Ray or walk home. Roslyn prayed that he wouldn't be with his girlfriend or anything like that. Seeing them together, seemingly so happy, would completely kill her all over again. Just like every other time she saw her. She was a terrible girlfriend for thinking about her best friend in that light instead of her boyfriend. She should, honestly, break up with him now. But she couldn't possibly do that to the boy that she cared about. And that was the thing. She may not have been in love with her boyfriend, but she certainly did care about him quite a bit...

"I'm sorry, Jake. I really am. But my dad and Mollee have been going out a lot. And if I don't babysit, that b***h'll have my head." She explained, wincing at her own horrid lie. However, it was true. If refusing to do what she was told, that step-mother of hers would completely eat her face off. And then eat her soul. So that wasn't really part of the lie. Nor was the part about her parents going out a lot and her being forced into babysitting. She just hated the fact that she had to deny Jake, her boyfriend of all people, time together. "Alright. Well if plans change or you don't have to babysit, lemme know so that I can tell Mom." He relayed and Roslyn nodded wordlessly, sighing and beating herself up for all that she had been doing to her boyfriend lately. "I'll be sure to do that, Jake. I gotta go." She said, not willing to go any further down the hell hole that was her love life. "Alright. Love you." Oh those two words were going to be the death of her. She sighed inwardly, slapping herself mentally as she winced and gave back the 'love you too' reply. She watched as he hung up and then closed her phone afterwards, stuffing it back into her pocket and continuing on in the quest of getting outside. Now to just find out if Ray was willing to spend the time that she so desperately wanted with him. Another problem between them. They were best friends forever. They'd made that promise years and years ago. So loving him was going to be a task and a half, honestly... Great. Just what she needed.

The girl descended the stairs, running a hand through her long and choppy hair, pushing her bangs out of her silver-blue eyes once again. As she reached the double doors outside the school, she stared out into the dreary rain quietly. Sighing, she went and leaned against one of the walls, fishing her phone out of her pocket quietly and flipping it open to stare at the screen. It dimmed slightly and she sighed, rolling her eyes and poking a button to get it to come to life once again. Time to ask if Ramone would be willing to hang out with her that night. She prayed that he would...

                            ray!
                            what doing?
                            wanna hang out tonight?
                            - rozz

Hitting send, the girl remained in the warm hall, staring out at the cool rain outside as she waited for a response. She was also praying that her boyfriend wouldn't find her.

                  you got h e r e just in time

Max asked if she would have come had she known that Alesana was on the road and she shrugged, not really sure of that herself. She didn't have any words to respond to that with, so she simply remained silent. The young man then proceeded to go off on a mini-rant that was only slightly confusing. "You know if you hadn’t come then you wouldn’t have met me and that wouldn’t have been any fun now would it have?” She smiled and nodded at him in response, repressing laughter at his speech. "Yeah, that's true. There's always that." That was most definitely the silver lining in the cloud that had fallen over this tour for her. She smiled and then sighed as her phone went off and she continued on with the conversation with her cousin. Well, that completely ruined her good mood, didn't it? Sighing as she hung up the phone, she looked down at Max to see him playing in the sand. God that boy was adorable... There was a soft smile upon her face as she told him that they should go back so that he could get ready. "I should, but will I?" He asked and Ailyn smirked as he shook his head no. Well, that was fine by her. She didn't really want to go back, anyway. Going back meant having to deal with everyone and everything. And that wasn't something she necessarily wanted to do right now. However, she'd probably end up feeling bad if Macy was left to run around taking care of merch and doing whatever the band deemed necessary for her to do. Sighing, Ailyn's eyes found Max's as he took her hand once again and told her not to worry about Macy.

Ailyn nodded wordlessly at that, not sure if she should listen to him and stay with him or just say screw it and go back to help Macy. Honestly, she probably really should go help Macy... Sighing, she watched him stand up and decided that on the beach next to him was a better place to be than stuffed inside some club with a bunch of screaming fans. "No, this is fine. We can stay longer." She stated, nodding and tearing her gaze away from Max to stare back out at the ocean. The waves crashing on the beach, the occasional surfer down the way, the rocks, the birds, the slow-setting sun. It was all so perfect and ever-so peaceful. It was wonderful. She smiled slighlty, her thoughts going down on it's own path before Max began speaking again. "I brought Macy to L.A. once when she was depressed. The ocean makes both of us feel better." He relayed to her and she smiled, nodding and looking over at him from the corners of her eyes. He continued speaking, saying that he didn't like Macy romantically and she nodded wordlessly, wondering if there was any other competition to beat down. Wow...where did that thought come from? Well...her crush on Max, obviously. She blushed slightly at the thought and sighed inwardly, nodding at his statement of making other people feel better with things that make you happy. Definite agreement going on there. And then he offered, sort of, to kick Shawn's a** and she smirked, biting back laughter as the image of Max trying to tackle down Shawn and pummel him popped into her mind. Well...actually, he'd probably be able to do it, honestly...

"Yeah, I understand that. Makes sense. And thanks, a lot, Max." She said, turning her attention fully back to the male beside her. She smiled at him and squeezed his hand softly. "It means a lot to me that you'd offer it. And you don't have to go kick his a** or anything. I'll...get over it soon enough. I just freak when it comes to unwanted surprises..." She informed him, shrugging and sighing slightly. Her eyes moved back to the ocean, tilting her head slightly as she stared out over it. "Thanks for taking me down here and talking to me and listening and s**t. I feel better already..." She stated, nodding and smiling over at Max quietly. She released his hand and reached over, wrapping her arms around him tightly in a slightly-awkward hug. Pulling away, she kissed his cheek lightly before returning to stand beside him, her hand finding his and grabbing it quietly. "So what kind of bands do you manage and stuff?" She asked, turning the focus back over to Max. She watched him from the corners of her eyes as she asked that, smiling softly at him. The way he lit up the last time that he talked about managing bands was, in Ailyn's opinion, incredibly sweet. And really cute. If she could get him to do that again, she'd feel awesome. Because he made her feel better, so why not take some interest in him and learn more about him? That was always a good thing, right? Learning about new people? Yeah...it most definitely was.

Shifting her weight from foot to foot, she decided she'd had enough with standing. She'd probably be on her feet for quite a bit of the night, so why not just sit down in the warm sand? A breeze picked up slightly and she could smell the mixture of salt water and city air. The city air wasn't necessarily a welcom scent, but whatever. She dealt with it often enough that she'd learned to deal with it and adjust to it well enough. Smiling softly, she lowered herself down onto the ground, still holding onto Max's hand despite the fact that she was now sitting on the ground and he was still standing. Having him there, holding her hand, gave her a sense of security. Something that she didn't want to go away anytime soon. For one reason or another, with Max, all of her troubles simply went away. It was probably thanks to the ocean, as well. But still. Having Max there just...helped everything for some reason.

With Alex's arm around her shoulders, Wednesday smiled and followed his lead off the bus. She laughed at the comment he made about the leash. The girl then proceeded to mutter to herself about setting up merch with Low. Harlow, better known as Low, was their bus driver and roadie. That man was beyond amazing at balancing everything and still managing to, somehow sleep. As they hit the outside world, Alex left her side in favor of bouncing around like Derek. A smirk found it's way upon her lips as she watched him in silence. Her arms were wrapped around her torso, a silent hug to herself. "Please excuses my hyper activity, I don't know what is going on with...AH!" Her friend said and she laughed as she watched Derek come out of absolutely nowhere to tackle the guitarist. And then continued to laugh while Alex fought him away and begged for her help. "I would, dear. But Derek would like...squish me if I pulled him off you. Sorry..." She stated, a large grin still on her face as Derek released him. "Are you ready for this?" The singer asked, bouncing around some more. Wednesday smirked, and rolled her eyes, reaching a hand up to brush away her bangs from her eyes. "I don't think you're ready enough, Derek. You might want to go drink a couple Red Bulls before you go on stage." She stated, winking and simrking. Oh god...that was probably a really bad idea for her to say that he should go get a few energy drinks. Knowing him, he would and then they'd all be screwed for the rest of the night. "I lied. Don't get any energy drink. I will personally slaughter you if you do." She muttered, frowning over at the singer.

Alex was, once again, to the rescue, when he told the singer to chill out. "You know, I think you are right. Derek needs a collar and a leash for his birthday." He said, turning to her. She grinned up at him and nodded, in the process of opening her mouth to respond to that when Derek interrupted and questioned who was going to be giving said collar and leash to him. Derek's grin after her best friend responded to him wasn't reassuring at all. She frowned, blinking and narrowing his eyes at that mischeivious look on his face. It was not a good look at all, and Wednesday certainly did not like it one bit nor where it was about to go. "That's pretty kinky Wendy. You know I'd love to take you up on something that kinky but I think Alex might eat my face, and then my soul." The jerk-face said and the girl could feel the slow creeping blush eat up her face with heat. Her sage green eyes narrowed as she glared up at the boy. "You're such a ******** a*****e, Derek..." She said, frowning deeply and crossing her arms over her chest. Alex punched at him and she was upset that he missed. However, having ot listen to Derek be a drama queen all night wasn't really what she wanted to have to deal with. She continued to penetrate the singer with a glare while he disappeared onto the bus. "Jackass..." She muttered, frowning herself and sighing heavily. She could still feel the blush heavy in her cheeks and she looked up at Alex as he offered to help with unloading things.

A sigh escaped her lips as she took a deep breath to calm down. Despite her anger towards the singer currently, she was going to end up forgiving and forgetting about it in about fifteen minutes. The young woman was definitely not the type of person to hold a grudge against anyone. No matter how embarassed they made her. "Yeah...that sounds good..." She stated rather awkwardly, stuffing her hands into her dark brown jeans and kept her arms held close to her torso as she stood, looking up at Alex quietly. She was sure that her blush was about to make her burst into fire and she prayed that Alex wasn't going to take it against her or anything like that. He was watching her as well and her heart was racing ahead of her at a ridiculous pace as she realized that. Sighing again, she tore her eyes away from his and glanced down at the ground as she turned away from him, waking down the bus to get to the back trailer. She could hear him following her and she smiled softly, chewing on the inside corner of her lip. Her heart still thundered in her head and chest and she felt tears, for absolutely no reason, pricking at her eyes. God...she wanted a hug right now. Particularily a hug from Alex, at that. She paused at the end of the bus, debating with herself whether or not to throw her arms around Alex and get that hug she was currently desiring. Biting down hard onto her lower lip, she turned. Albeit, she turned slowly, but she turned all the same. She looked up at her best friend and smiled quietly at him, stepping towards him and moving to wrap her arms around him. burrowing her head into his chest and sighing. Though at the same time, she prayed that she wasn't making things more awkward or anything like that.

Derek's comment about Alex eating Derek's soul if he took her up on the "kinky offer" was swimming in her head and she wondered if there was an underlying meaning to that. Wendy knew that he was particularily protecitve. He always had been, no matter the age they were. And growing up together, she'd always gotten the vibe that he thought of her as a sister. Which held an underlying hurt that she hadn't thought about for a while. Well...actually, no. She thought about that often. Especially considering the fact that she was, whether she'd like to admit it or not, quite...attracted to Alex. She wouldn't dare say she was in love with him because that would have just made things awkward. Well...more awkward than they already were, but that was beside the point. But in reality, she kind of was. She'd liked Alex since high school started. Freshman year and she'd realized it. He was always there for her, no matter what happened or who it happened with. She didn't care that no one wanted to date her, despite the fact that it led to a slightly lonely life. She had Alex and that was all that she'd ever wanted. All that she'd ever needed. He was, quite honestly, perfect. Sighing, the girl continued to hold onto her best friend, melting into him despite what she was telling herself.

                  i finally fell in l o v e
                  i fell so h a r d that i'm killing myself
                  yes, i n e e d out
                  out of this g r a v e that i've dug

A small smile formed upon her lips as she got the answer to her question. He could see the light color in his cheeks and the only thing she could think at that moment was how absolutely adorable he was at that exact moment... Hardcore bands, huh? That was pretty interesting. "That's sweet. And who cares if you don't fit. You still manage them, that's what matters, yeah?" She stated, smiling and watching him as he turned his gaze out over the waters. She ignored his blush for the most part, not really caring about it other than the fact that she found it really quite adorable. Then again, he was gorgeous to begin with. Being as cute as he was right at that second was only adding to the fact that she found him immensely attractive. She felt her own cheeks flush at that thought, shifting her weight from foot to foot before finally just plopping down into the sand. It was warm still, it's heat seeping through the fabric of her clothes to touch at her hidden pale skin. When Max looked down at her, she smiled up at him warmly, feeling slightly childish sitting like that. But oh well. Too late for that, now. She continued smiling as she looked up at him, watching as he gazed out over the ocean again. Peace was written all over his face and he looked even more gorgeous than he already did. She could feel her cheeks go red again as she sighed, tearing her gaze away from the boy who's hand was still in hers to stare down at the sand beneath her. Soon, however, her arm lowered as Max sat down next to her.

Smiling still, Ailyn looked over at him. She noticed that he was avoiding eye contact with her and she wondered why. Sighing inwardly, she turned her gaze back to the waves lapping their way on the shore. Closer and closer they ebbed as the tide got higher. The soft touch of Max's thumb on her hand was making her heart flutter in ways that it probably shouldn't have been. Especially considering the fact that he was her cousin's best friend. But who cared about that, right? Craig could disagree all he'd like. Wouldn't stop her from liking Max at all. Nothing ever had been able to stop her from liking who she wanted to. Not even her brothers, no matter how much they complained to her and disapproved. Honestly, Ailyn didn't care. Well...she did. But she didn't take their advice to heart. Then again, look at where that advice had landed her. Hurt more times than not by jerk offs who couldn't tell the truth for s**t. Maybe their advice meant something afterall...? Sighing inwardly, the girl cursed herself a few times over for not listening to her brothers or anyone else when it came to her relationships. However, she probably never would listen to what other people thought of her personal life. She'd do what she wanted when she wanted to. And she'd have who she wanted in her life no matter the whispers circulating behind her back. Although...if Craig proved to not agree with her liking Max, she wasn't sure what she'd do. She cared about her cousin's opinion a hell of a lot more than she did her own immediate family. Was that cause for concern? Well...probably not. She frowned slightly, thinking about that, a look of concentration forming in her face as the silence continued to hang on the traffic-lidden air of LA.

Max was the one to break the silence between them. "What kind of music do you sing?" he asked and Ailyn shrugged, smiling slightly as she came out of her little mental reverie. "I don't know. I...yeah. We sing a variety of styles. We're all weird and really different, so the music we play is pretty random. I mean, I'll go from singing happy songs about butterflies and unicorns to singing some pretty gorey a** s**t," she stated, nodding her head slightly as she paused. "I can't scream for s**t though," she stated, smirking and looking over to Max. He turned to her for once and his cute blush was gone. Ailyn was about to comment on it, but held her tounge on the matter. Wouldn't want to seem like she was creepy or anything like that. Because that wouldn't be cool. No, not at all. She allowed herself a quick look up and down him before her eyes darted back over to the ocean. Though her attention was still on Max, watching him more from the corners of her eyes than the ocean her face was pointed towards. A few minutes later and Max had removed his hand from hers. She blinked, rather confused and lost as to what he was doing when she turned to see him taking off his shoes. She smirked softly, watching as he stood and grinned down at her. What was that grin supposed to mean? She tilted her head to the side, raising a single brow quietly. "What are...?" She began, but then shut her mouth when he turned around and practically skipped down to the water.

Grinning, Ailyn watched watched as he stepped into the water, just standing there facing the sunset. A smile formed upon her face slowly as she pulled her knees into her chest and reached to grab the zipper at the back of her boots. She had to undo the two buckles wrapped around her boots, but after that, her feet were home free. She removed her socks, tugging them off her feet and stuffing them into her boots quietly. Her bare feet touched the warm sand and she smiled as she stood, stretching her arms overhead before making her way down to the sand. She frowned as the water licked at her toes, colder than she would have liked it to be. Hmph. Oh well, not much to be done about that little fact now... She stood slightly behind Max, watching his back in silence. That boy seemed to be thinking a lot lately and she couldn't help but to wonder just what the hell he was thinking about. Would it be weird of her to ask about that? Probably... She'd probably be flagged as Craig's creeper cousin. Which wasn't exactly something she wanted. She looked down to the water, smirking as she saw a pretty looking shell sitting in the sand. Ailyn was definitely the girly type who loved picking up shells on the beach. Considering the fact that she'd rarely gotten to go to the beach, she tried to get as many shells as she could manage when she did. Bending down, she plucked it from the sand, standing and then bringing it closer to her face to inspect it.

And that was when something popped out of the bottom of the shell, making her heart skip a few beats as she flailed and sent the shell flying. "Holy ******** s**t!" She exclaimed, heart racing as she spazzed and flailed some more and then began stepping back away from the shell of the angry hermit crab that she had just dropped. And that was when her long legs tangled together and she ended up tripping and stumbling. However, luck and grace were not two things that she could ever hold in the same instance. Instead of not falling flat on her face, she did just that. And instead of falling on her face, she fell into Max before ending up landing on her a** behind him. Great. Just ******** great.

                  you o p e n e d up into my arms
                  and we l a u g h e d as i held you
                  i'll n e v e r go back to georgia
                  not at l e a s t till i have to

Relief washed through her as Alex's arms wrapped around her and she wasn't the only one hugging here. He held her to him and she held him to her, not wanting to let go but just hold him there forever. Stand like that forever. Just like she'd always wanted, but it wasn't the same. He didn't like her the way that she liked him. It just wasn't possible. Wednesday sighed as he kissed her cheek, making a blush creep into her cheeks despite herself. 'It doesn't mean anything, Wendy...' She told herself as she sighed quietly, squeezing her eyes shut tight. And then the three words that he always said that always somehow managed to cut her deeper and deeper each time were spoken and her heart stopped. "I love you." He declared and she sighed, frowning at herself as he spoke them. There was something different in his voice this time than all the other times that he'd said them. It made her heart stop and drop in her chest. He stopped breathing and she wondered if he was alright for a moment before he began breathing again. Her thoughts raced and she wondered what the hell those three words were supposed to mean to her. They held so much...feeling. So much emotion in them and it made her eyes start to water. She could feel the tears forming and she was incredibly glad that her face was currently in his chest and he couldn't see her. Why did he have to do that to her? Did...did he honestly mean it? Confusing thoughts passed through her head a million miles a second, too fast for her to make sense of anything right now.

And then he stepped away. In all that...he'd just stepped away from her. Her arms fell limply to her sides and she nodded as he said that they needed to get ther merch to the table and he needed to go get his guitar. She remained standing there, quite stunned honestly, as he walked around her. Damn him... She took a deep, calming breath and forced a smile upon her face as she blinked away the tears, refusing to show that his words had caused her so much confusion and emotion. "I love you, too..." She muttered quietly as she turned to follow him with her gaze. He grabbed a box of merch from the back and left her. Sighing, she cursed him and shook her head, muttering a long line of curses that revolved mostly around how stupid boys were and why they couldn't make sense for a damn. Still grumbling to herself, she grabbed the last box of merch and propped it on her hip as she began walking towards the club. Damn him... By the time that she'd gotten to the merch table, it was just Low there. "Woah. You okay, Wendy?" He asked as she dropped the box down on the table. She looked up at him and nodded, slowly. "You're a bad liar when there are tears in your eyes, deary. Come here and help me. We'll talk between getting this s**t sold." He told her and she nodded quietly, moving to the side of the table to go around and work on setting things up. She dropped the box she'd been carrying into the club at the back of the booth and tore the lid off of it, revealing a collection of various Mayday Parade shirts.

A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she turned around and plopped down on one of the hard plastic chairs that Low had set up behind the table. "Alright, missy. I know you're shy, but you haven't said a word yet. What's up?" He asked and Wednesday just shook her head, not wanting to speak right now for fear of what she'd say. Her eyes drifted over to the stage, where Mayday Parade was slowly coming on. She found Alex immediately. Her heart raced ahead of her again and she could feel color creeping into her cheeks. She heard Low laughing behind her but ignored him. Her thoughts drifted over to all that she and her best friend had been through together. He was, by far, her biggest influence. Sad, but true. She'd always been jealous of the girls he dated. Being in love with your best friend certainly had it's complications, especially considering the fact that they generally didn't love you back. Alex was her world and she'd do anything to stay by his side forever. ********, she'd even murder some b***h that tried to take him away from her. Anyone who tried that was good as dead. And that had always been her biggest problem with Alex's relationships. All his girlfriends just seemed like a*****e whores who hated Wendy and tried to take him away from her. The guitarist, quite honestly, kept her sane. Again, he was there through everything. Keeping track of the boy was often times a pain the a**, but it paid off in the end of everything. She, at least, knew that Alex was safe and still by her side no matter what...

She remained watching Mayday Parade perform through their set. Even when Low left to go sleep after the first five minutes of handling everytihng and asking Wendy if she'd be okay alone. Her thoughts were, most definitely, elsewhere as she helped the fans buy things. They seemed to pick up that vibe and kept the creepy fangirl conversations between themselves, ignoring the young woman for the most part. Well, that was fine by her. The less people she had to talk to, the more time she had to sort out her thoughts about what she was going to say to Alex. Low came back near the end of their set, frowning and looking like he hadn't gotten the least bit of sleep. "Okay, Wendy. I'll take over here for you. You can, obviously, not get your mind off of someone on that stage and if you don't talk to that someone about whatever the ******** happened, we won't be going to the next venue." The man declared, shoving her around the table and out into the crowd. Wednesday sighed, shaking her head and opening her mouth to speak for once. "No! Low! I'll...can't I do it later!? You should be sleeping! What the hell!?" She said, frowning deeply as she continued to be shoved through the crowd. "You talk, I'll sell. Now, go. You come back and we are cancelling us being on this entire tour." With one last shove, Low left Wednesday to go sell things for the band. Sighing, the girl stomped her way around to the back of the club, making it there just as Mayday Parade walked off the stage. Her heart thudded hard in her chest as she paused in the doorway, feeling all the more awkward by the second. "You guys were great!" She enthused, her voice holding that fake happiness she'd been coating herself in all night. "Um...Alex? ...C...Could I...um...talk to you? For a minute?" She asked, swallowing hard and fearing the rejection he'd surely give her.
