- - - [ the princesDRAGON

Ephraim Crownwing

A dragon of pure white sailed in the early morning sky, his body collecting little droplets of the early morning mist. They froze the minute they connected with his body though, to form little circular crystals, adding to the beauty of this majectic creature. Though fearsome to look upon, this ice dragon was beautiful as well, and as he looked down at all the farmers and other folk who were going about their morning, he watched them all look upon him in awe, smiling and waving, for he was not a creature which these humans had learnt to fear. He was the Prince's dragon, and everyone in the land of Eden knew him. Even now the other dragons of the land, who were still in their human form, were smiling and waving vigourously at him. But he had no time for mindless chatter. So instead he turned, which might have seemed impossible for his body was so big, his long wings extending to take air within them as he headed back for the castle. No one, not even the servants, would be up and about now, but he figured it best that he not keep the others waiting. He knew his Prince would be late, for he was definitely not a morning person, but that was no excuse for himself to be late.

The dragon landed in the training zone of the castle, shaking off the frozen droplets and watching them scatter around the grounds, making the whole yard shine due to the sun that hit and reflected off of them. The dragons body seemed to shimmer, to fade, and before long, in its place stood a man. Long, silver hair with a hint of blue in it fell down the mans naked form, tickling against the skin on his chest and sticking lightly to his back. Eyes which had been closed slowly opened to reveal ice blue irises as he looked around for the towel he'd placed here earlier. Spotting it, he walked over, his feet not making a single sound as they fell down to the soft earth. The dragon turned man began to wipe his body of the dampness which it had accumalated in his morning flight, before wrapping the towel around his body and slipping silently into the castle. Only now were the servants beginning to waken, to prepare for the approaching day. After all, quite a day it would be. It was the day that their prince, Prince Aiden, would go out on his journey to reunite humans and dragons across the land. The man smirked as he passed servants whispering about it. Yes, quite a journey it was going to be.

Ephraim stood in the room which was joined with the prince's room, looking through his closet for something suitable to wear. He knew he was expected to dress well for the start of their journey, though really it annoyed him to no end to dress in these flimsy clothes when he would much prefer to dress in something more comfortable. But Ephraim merely sighed and shook his head as he reached out, grabbing the clothes which the queen had prepared for him. He quickly dressed in them, before walking over to the mirror and grabbing one of the many silver hair adornments that rested there. Due to the length of his hair, he always had to keep it out of his face, though today he decided he'd keep it down for the most part. So he simply grabbed some of the silver strands, pulling them back into a half pony tail. The rest of his hair merely fell around his face, framing his cold features well as he stared at himself in the mirror. Unlike some of the other people going on this journey, he couldn't quite say he was looking forward to it. In fact, you could say that he was hating the very idea of it. But he knew his Prince was going, and where his Prince went, so did he. That was the job that came with being the Princes Dragon.

But that was not the only duty of the Princes Dragon. He also needed to make sure everything else was properly set up for the day, and for the coming weeks. He could not afford to sleep in like some. Ephraim glanced over at the door which joined his room to the Princes, and decided he would check on the child. Pushing the door open, he walked into the room to see blankets strewn about the bed and the Prince sleeping comfortably, even though he was only covered by a simple blanket. Really, Ephraim had no idea how this child managed to throw absolutely every last blanket off of the bed, especially when there were so many of them. Sighing, he decided it was a good thing he'd decided to check on the male. Leaning down, he began to pick up the blankets, shaking them of any dirt before throwing them back over the Prince's form and tucking them around him. Ephraim was forced to take a step back when the Prince suddenly turned, muttering something. But he was pleased to see that the man hadn't awoken. Could he really have expected that the man would? The sun was barely over the horizon yet. The queen would have a heart attack if the Prince woke up at this time of day. Smiling lightly at the thought, Ephraim went over to the window to open it just a crack, letting in some fresh air. Looking around, he picked up the clothes from the previous night, picking them up and folding them before placing them on a chair in the corner. Satisfied with how the room looked, he gave one last glance at the Prince before bowing his head at the sleeping male and slipping out of the room.

There was still so much for him to do before the morning meal. Maybe he shouldn't go to it. No...No, the King and Queen would not be pleased with that. And neither would the Prince. No, especially not the Prince. But perhaps he would come late. He really didn't like such events. Far too...warm. Frowning at that, Ephraim merely pushed the thought from his mind. He'd see how long it took to do his tasks, and then he'd decide whether or not he was going to go to this breakfast. Well, it was more of a brunch really. Or it would be, by the time the Prince awoke. Shaking his head at the thought, he reminded himself to try and wake the Prince up. But he already had many things to do, and at the thought of having to wake the Prince, a look of annoyance entered his eyes. Really, he was sure the man could wake himself up, at least for today. So Ephraim headed for the stables. His first task was to check on the horses they would be taking. Yes, they could have jus thad the humans ride on the Dragons back, but some countries were not as accepting of human dragon relationships as Eden was, and so it would not be wise for them to travel like that. Faster yes, but not as wise. So they were taking horses. Of course, they were the best the kingdom had to offer, but Ephraim still would have felt better simply flying. But then again, when was the last time the Prince had ridden him? Probably when he was four, when they'd escaped so long ago. He was unsure whether or not the Prince would be able to fly on his back, or if he'd be comfortable with it. Perhaps it was best they were taking horses.

By the time Ephraim was done with the horses, people were bustling around, servants preparing for the coming feast. Ephraim glanced up at the Prince's window, and could tell that the man had yet to awaken. Pulling his eyes back down, away from the mans window, he began to walk towards his next destination. The armory. They would, of course, be brining some weapons with them. The world was not a friendly place. So Ephraim made a quick stop there, to make sure that everything was in order. He was reassured that it all was, and when he was satisfied that they were telling the truth, Ephraim turned away from the armory, and began to walk off to where the servants were placing all the items that they would be taking on this journey. It wasn't much, for they couldn't take much without garnering too much attention from people like thieves and the like. So they were only taking what their horses could carry. But Ephraim still needed to take inventory. So, picking up the list of the top pile of things, Ephraim began to look through the things, double checking the food to make sure nothing was spoiled, nor poisoned. You could never be too careful with these kind of things. He also recounted the money and clothing, making sure no greedy servant had run off with anything that belonged to the Prince or their companions.

Content that everything was finally all done and looked after, Ephraim once again glanced up towards the Prince's window. And this time he was greeted by the sight of the man, looking up at the sky. Frowning, Ephraim looked away. He could purely understand the mans love of the sky, especially when he'd been kept in the dark for a year. But it wasn't a healthy fascination. Sighing, Ephraim realized that he really was far too good at what he did, for now he had nothing left to keep him from going to the feast which would be held in the dining hall. But perhaps he could still find something to distract him from it, if only for a little while. And so Ephraim went off in search of the head servant, the one who took care of everything, to tell him that he'd checked on the horses and taken the inventory, so they need not worry about it. It took awhile to actually find the man though, for he was constantly moving about. But finally Ephraim managed to locate him scolding one of the younger servants. It looked like he was also not having the best of mornings. Ephraim waited silently in the shadows as he watched the man talk to the servant boy, before sending the male scurrying off to do some other task. Stepping away from the shadows, Ephraim walked up to the male, and saw the man literally jump when he called out to him. Ephraim had never really enjoyed talking to others, especially of the servant variety, and made quick work of reporting to the man. Now he really had nothing to keep him from the brunch.

Sighing in defeat, Ephraim turned back towards the castle, walking in the general direction of the dining hall. But once he was inside, he decided to take a detour. One final distraction. He would see if the Prince was properly dressed, and if his room was tidy. And if not, he would make sure things were orderly and presentable. When the dragon entered the Prince's room, he was, for once, happy to see that the man had, of course, left it a mess. Smiling a rare smile, Ephraim leaned down and began to organize the mans room, noting how he had once again messed up the bed and had also made a mess of the closet. Unfortunately, such things did not take long to fix, and before long things were looking clean. Sighing, Ephraim truly knew that this was the last possible thing he could have done before heading for the brunch the King and Queen had invited everyone too. So turning, he opened the door, once again slipping out of the Prince's room, though this time he was heading for the dining room to enjoy a meal rather then to check up on things.

Ephraim found himself standing outside the door of the dining room far too short a time later, and sighing, he pushed the doors open, sliding in. He glanced around the room, seeing that everyone else was there. When the King looked up from his meal, Ephraim merely bowed his head at the man, before moving to take his spot beside the Prince. He stared down at the food on his plate, sighing inwardly. But he picked up his fork anyway and began to eat, a lot more properly then the Prince was. But he decided he would let the Prince off of it for today. After all, it was his big day. Ephraim nearly cringed at the thought.

let me hear you scream
watch the blood flow from your veins
let it stain the ground red
and erase all your sins

******** angels. They really pissed him off. They always acted so high and mighty, as if they were better then everybody else. He remembered the way that they had followed him when him and the vampire had separated some time ago, teasing and taunting him. Unfortunately, there had been people around, and ordinary humans couldn't see the angels. So he had run, ignoring the angels as they continued to spit out insults while chasing him, until finally, finally he had ended up in a deserted part of the town. It looked like no one had been to this area of the town in years, and a small, sadistic smile curved his lips at the thought of finally being able to tear these angels apart. His blood began pulsing with the thought, feeling the adrenaline race through him. A fallen God or not, Ares was still the god of bloodshed and warfare, so things like this really got his blood boiling. He could already feel his fingers transforming, turning into what looked like black, long needles. Turning so quickly that the angels didn't have time to react, he rushed back at them with the speed only a God had. He caught the first one within seconds, slicing its neck with one quick, fluid movement. He crumpled to the ground, remaining there only a moment before turning into dust. It was such a shame that he couldn't thouroughly enjoy the kill - there were too many of them at the moment. But he could take care of the others quickly, and perhaps leave one of them to have some fun with. He was feeling frustrated and angry, though could anyone really blame him? A vampire had bitten him, and because of that the other Gods had forsaken him. Growling an animalistic growl from deep within his throat, he quickly killed off two more angels, ducking as one of the other angels came flying at him. He thrust his hand upward, literally slicing the angel into three seperate pieces. Blood splatted over him, but he ignored it, already lost to his senses. There were only four left, and he couldn't help but let out a sadistic laugh as he ran forward, chasing the fleeing angels. He killed another two within moments, leaving only two left. It didn't take long to narrow the two down to one though. And it was only then that the fun began.

The first thing to go were those white wings that the angels prided themselves on. He relished in the sound of agony and pain that left the angels mouth when his white wings fell to the ground. Now it would be impossible for the angel to escape. Ares stared down at the angel, taking in the sight of the red blood dripping down its back. He was covered in blood - it was splattered on his face, his clothing, but mostly on what had once been his hands. He had completely lost himself in his lust for blood - so much so that he barely even heard the begging of the angel, or saw the tears in his eyes. The one thing that he did notice though was the absolute fear in its eyes, as well as the pain that distorted its face as Ares began to oh so slowly torture him. He poked multiple holes into the boys body, turning this way and that, rejoicing at the sound of pain that it brought forth. He created many lacerations over the males body, until it was barely recognizable. But after a while, he grew bored. It had only been a few minutes, but already he was tired of the boys screaming, and was just finding it annoying. So with a final cut over the mans chest, he returned his fingers to normal. Then, with the boys eyes still on him, he reached down and pulled the heart from the boys body, crushing it with his hand and dropping it to the ground. The creature had just opened its mouth to scream, but no sound came out. Instead, his body quickly turned into dust and disappeared in the wind. Smiling and licking his fingers, he looked up towards the heavens. "I think you'll have to try harder then that." And with that, he turned and left.

Walking back the way he had come, Ares wiped some blood from his face with a bloodied sleeve. Maybe he should have been more careful about not getting any blood on him. Mmm...maybe not. Remembering the battle, he smiled a secret smile to himself. It was so much better when there was blood involved. So instead he decided to cloak himself from human eyes as he walked back into the town. All he had to do now was find the vampire... Which wasn't going to be hard at all. He could smell human blood, which meant that the vampire had fed. Not that he really minded though - if the vampire fed on a human, it meant that he wouldn't be hungry for the God's blood. And besides, he didn't mind if a human or two died. After all, the destruction of humans was the whole reason he had come down to Earth. In the end, the vampire was just helping him with his goal. Following the scent of the blood, he quickly stumbled upon a small restaurant. He could see the vampire sitting in one of the window seats, and sighed. He would have to go in. Which meant he needed clothes...Looking around, he spotted a clothing store a little ways away. Walking over to it, he silently entered, wincing when the door jingled. But he was invisible to the human eye, so when the store owner turned to look, he saw no one. Waiting until the owner had turned back to what he had been doing, Ares quickly grabbed some clothes. He changed in the changing room, and shoved the dirty items into a bag. He would dispose of them later. Walking out again, he waited until he was a few paces away from the store before turning visible again. The rain had already washed the blood from his body, and so now he looked like just some average human. Which meant that now it was time to deal with the vampire.

Walking into the restaurant, he ignored the waitress, instead moving with confident steps towards where the vampire sat. He pulled the chair out from across him, and quickly sat down, waving the waitress who came to attend to him off. When she was out of earshot, he offered the vampire a cocky smile. "Already eaten have you?" He said, though he already knew the answer. Sniffing the air, he gave a look of disgust. "She couldn't have really tasted all that good, from what I'm smelling." he said, keeping his voice low. Though he wasn't a blood-sucker like the man sitting across from him was, he still knew good quality blood from bad. "Does this mean that I can sleep easy tonight?" He questioned, sarcasm in his voice. Like hell he would ever sleep easy with this damn vampire in the same room. The minute his guard was down, the b*****d would be at his neck. He had to stop himself from rubbing the place the vampire had bitten the first time, and instead narrowed his eyes at the vampire. "On second thought, never mind."

He heard the sound of footsteps approaching, and turned his head to stare at the falling rain. He ignored the waitress that placed a cup of - he sniffed the air and another look of distaste showed on his face - coffee on the table in front of the vampire. He remained silent when the girl asked if he wanted anything again - really, how many times did they need to ask before they got the fact that he didn't want anything? - and didn't look back until the sound of the girls footsteps had receded. He glanced back at the vampire, looking down at the glass of coffee. "Do you even like that s**t?" he asked, looking doubtfully from the vampires face to the cup of coffee. Well whatever. It didn't affect him. So he turned his head back to look out the window, watching the rain fall to the wet ground. " We need to find a place to stay tonight. Or did you take care of that after you abandoned me?" he turned smiling a sweet smile at the vampire, though the disgust that was just under that smile was clearly visible. But only the vampire would notice it. Anyone who would happen to be looking their way would probably think that the two were the best of friends. No ********' way was that happening though. Ares would rather be banished to hell then have to be this bastards friend.

Now shut up and let me study!

Beep beep beep. He didn't give it more then three beeps. He rarely did. The slightly tanned hand came out from beneath the bed to push on the alarm clock. The annoying noise quickly ceased, and a small groan could be heard coming from the male beneath the blankets. The bed creaked as he rolled over, the blankets being pushed back to reveal midnight black locks. But the lids covering the male's orbs didn't open for another few minutes. Not until the fogginess of sleep had finally lifted from his mind and he realized what day it was today. Instantly his eyes opened, revealing the clear blue of his hues. He sat up, pushing the blankets even further black. His hand went up to cover his mouth; to cover a yawn. He side glanced at the clock, checking the time. 7: oo am. Perfect. He always knew to set the alarm a few minutes early, to give himself time to fully awaken. His hand reached for the edge of the blankets, flipping it back to reveal what he liked to think of his pajamas, but were really just a pair of loose black sweatpants which hung from his hips. Stretching, he felt his bones crack as well as heard them, and gave a satisfied sigh. Turning, the pads of his feet making little sound against the cold wooden floors, he walked up to a window, opening it and looking out. He breathed in the fresh air, a small, almost nonexistent smile dancing across his lips. A nice day. A perfect day, one could call it. Even though there really wasn't any such thing. . .

Shifting, the male turned once more, the warm autumn sun hitting his back as he went to get the clothes he'd set out the day before. He checked to make sure everything he needed was there, before giving a nod of satisfaction and heading to the washroom. He had made sure to wake before his mother, so he could have the washroom to himself. Unlike some people he didn't have the convenience of two bathrooms. Not that he minded sharing all that much. He just needed to make sure to know when he'd need it, and to plan ahead. Which was just what he had done. A smirk played over his lips when he turned the door handle and it opened without complaint. He knew he'd been right. His mother was still sleeping. Meaning the washroom was unoccupied.

He showered quickly, not wanting to waste time. It was an hour drive to the school, and he still had things to do. The hot water traveled down his body, bringing out the curves of his muscles, tracing the edges of his body and some small scars that littered it. Closing his eyes, he only enjoyed the heat for a moment, before he moved on to get it over with. He would have loved to enjoy this shower more, but he simply didn't have the time. Perhaps he should have woken up earlier. . . Stepping out of the shower, the teenage male grabbed the nearest towel, wiping himself down before hanging the towel around his hips. He grabbed his sweats, and walked out of the washroom, turning on the ventilation so as to get rid of the steam. He didn't walk straight back to his room, but instead to his Mothers. He'd be acting as her alarm clock today. He knocked once, then twice, then waited. He heard the sound of blankets shifting, the gentle creak of the bed, and then finally his mothers voice. "I'm awake Channing." Smiling, he said nothing, but the sound of his footsteps walking down the hall in the direction of his room told her he'd heard her.

Channing dressed quickly, packing his sweat pants away with the rest of his luggage. He glanced at his clock again, happy to see that he was making good time. That was always a good sign. Picking up his suitcase and back pack, he walked down the hallway again. Before stopping at the kitchen he'd placed his things by the door, though now he was making some breakfast. When his mother walked in, he already had a plate of the traditional breakfast out for her. Scrambled eggs, ham, hash browns... She smiled at him, walking up and giving him a kiss to the cheek. "Good morning. I see you're as excited as ever for school." Channing smiled and chuckled, returning the kiss, though placing it on her forehead. "There's nothing I love better then to learn." He stated, but his mother merely shook her head at him. "Yes, I know, but it would make me a little happier if you at least looked not so excited. I mean, a whole year without your mother? You don't have to be so eager you know." She teased. It was the same thing she said every year. He merely smirked at her, before getting his own plate. "Oh yes, whatever will you do in the morning if I'm not here to cook you breakfast?" All he got to that was a slap to the back of the head.

It wasn't long before the two were heading out. Channing stared out the window of the car, his bags piled in the back seat. A soft sigh escaped him as he saw his peaceful neighborhood pass by. He could see 'spirits' and such of all kinds waving good bye to him. He'd been talking about the new school year days now, and they were all excited for him, if not a tad sad to see him go. As he continued to watch the place roll by, his eyes slowly closed, the sun warming him better then any blanket could, and it was no surprise that he soon found himself falling asleep.

He woke up to the gentle touch of his mother shaking his shoulder. He blinked his eyes open, turning to look at her. She smiled at him, before pointing to the building in front of them. Their good bye wasn't quick, but it wasn't long. And Channing walked away from it feeling the tiniest bit homesick. But he took a deep breath, his feet crunching against the soil of the ground as he walked towards the West dorm. Home sickness was something he could deal with. He knew this year would be as fun - hopefully - as the last. He walked into the dorm, immediately walking up to what one could call the receptionist he supposed. It really was like a hotel, something he still wasn't used to. Checking in quickly, he offered a small smile to the man before turning and carrying his luggage up. He hadn't been in the West dorm yet. In fact, he was usually in the East. Oh well, it would be a nice change of scenery.

He knew his future roommate was there even before he'd completely stepped into the room. The suitcases left by the door, and the fact that the door itself was still open told him that. Dropping his key into his pocket now that he no longer needed it, he gently placed his own bags down, closing the door with a click. Moving forward, he soon found the boy he'd be sharing his room with. And he was... "A midget." He frowned at that though. No, that wasn't right. A midget would be...stumpier? "A short person." Yes, that was more accurate. He'd never had a short person before. But then again, he'd never gotten particularly close to his roommates anyway. He looked from the male, to the single bed, and by the fact that the bed had been moved, he could tell what was going through the 'midget's' head, and smirked. "I'm not sleeping on the couch."

Isaiah looked up at the violet haired boy and shivered, his eyes glancing to the side. But then he blinked, his eyes quickly looking back at Semran. Was that... It was! Smiling hugely, he suddenly leaned up, his hands shooting out. He seemed to catch something over the others head, before he lowered down and slowly made a small crack in his hands, looking in. "There you are!" He stated happily, removing his one hand and laying the other palm up. There was nothing there. Well, nothing to the normal eye anyway. But he seemed quite happy with the little critter he'd captured. He then frowned down at his hand, shaking his head. "No way~! I caught you! You have to give me one now!" He said, pouting softly. He waited a few more seconds, and suddenly a soft glow appeared in his hand. A thin layer of ice formed over his skin, and he smiled widely. He nodded his head at the critter, and then the ice seemed to get absorbed into his skin. He stretched out his palm, smiling happily. "I knew it was in here!"

And then he suddenly froze. Uh...oh... His duel colored eyes slowly raised up, to see the white haired, tiara wearing male standing right in front of him. "Um." Well, if the other didn't already believe he belonged in one of those insane places, then he did now. Though he should have been able to see the ice. . . but that didn't stop the massive blush. He didn't just do those kinds of things in front of other people. "S-Sorry. I was receiving...a blessing." He mumbled, looking down at his feet. He just kept making things worse and worse didn't he? Even though the male had said he would even tolerate him and everything! This was so embarrassing! Wait. . . Embarrassing. . . Oh crap! Quickly he began to take deep breaths, trying to calm himself down. If he got any more embarrassed, or blushed any more then something might happen. . .

It took a few moments for the brown haired male to relax enough to look back up at Semran, and he gave a small smile. "That's right. I'm not human. I'm um, half Brownie and half Elementalist. W-What you saw just now. . . was me receiving snow's blessing. U-Um she seems to like hanging around you so . . . well, I saw her, and it's really rare to find her, so I did it without thinking. . ." He mumbled softly. He hoped his roommate didn't think he was weird. Though. . . with everything that had happened so far, he probably already thought he was odd. That little display had probably just added to that thought. Sighing softly, his head lowered further, his bangs hanging over his eyes and casting a shadow. Really, this just wasn't working out at all. He really had to be more aware of his surroundings. What if he did that in a really public place one day? That wouldn't be good. In fact, that would be absolutely, completely, horrible. Definitely. . . horrible.

Ah! But those thoughts were way to depressing! Because even if he did do that in public, it probably meant that he was receiving a really good elements blessing! So it would be all fine in the end! Seeming to be cheered by the thought, he side stepped, before moving around Semran to go check out the bedroom. His eyes still glanced around the room as he walked in the direction, and he couldn't help but feeling lucky he was able to stay in such a place. Especially with a roommate he was positive he would eventually be able to become good friends with. Because if snow was hanging around Semran, it must mean that the boy was a good guy at heart right? Right! So all in all he was feeling very lucky!

Until he saw the bedroom. With the lone bed.

That's when the others first words came rushing back. " I'm afraid there's a problem with this room. There appears o be but one bed. I think the school must have made some sort of mistake. " " I'm not sure about you, but I simply refuse to share a bed with a stranger. " Ah . . . that was a really problem right? Personally he wouldn't mind sharing the bed. He was used to sharing with his brother and sisters. And though there was a difference between them and a stranger, he still didn't mind. After all, he was pretty sure the school didn't let serial killers or rapists onto it's grounds, so it wasn't like there was the whole safety issue. And when it came to personal space, he didn't have a problem with that either. After all, his personal bubble was practically nonexistent. But he knew quite well that Semran, his roommate, had a personal bubble. He'd found that out when he ran into him earlier.

So now what were they supposed to do?

Glancing back at Semran, he let his arms look from the boy, and around the room. Well . . . there was always another option. "If you don't want to sleep together. . . I could sleep on the couch?" He could even sleep on the floor if the couch wasn't comfortable, though he doubted it wasn't. He would just need to get a sleeping bag first. After all, he had sometimes slept out in the barn when a mare was giving birth to a foal, so it wasn't like he would complain about sleeping on a couch or anything. And he was sure that the other wanted the bed. Who in their right mind wouldn't? And with the whole tiara thing, he figured the man was used to things like sleeping in a bed. And really, this might earn him some brownie points right?

                No pun intended.

It wasn't like he'd leave the place a mess either. He was a Brownie. Brownie's were creatures who loved to clean, and liked things being clean. So he'd just bring a blanket over to the couch and sleep there when night rolled around. Glancing back to the bedroom, he wondered if there were any spare blankets. Wouldn't want to go stealing Semran's after all. Walking forward, he looked around for a closet, where the blankets would most likely be held. Hopefully they'd have extra pillows too~ And if not, he could probably go to the office and request some right? Humming softly, he moved about the room, seeming to feeling right at home even though he'd only been here about five seconds. He made little touch up as he moved around, adding a bit more personality to the room and making it appear just the littlest bit warmer, despite the slowly dropping temperature.

After all, he was part Brownie, and this is what he did.
