filler█▌█▐ » AARON JAMES THOMAS
{ Beauxbatons Male Champion }
❝If i could write you a song to make you fall in loveXXXXXXX
I would already have you right under my arm❞
“You will never win! How could you? You spend your time flirting with girls more then getting ready for the first challenge!”
“Leave me alone! You don’t know what I’ve done! Just because someone talks to girls doesn’t mean that they are not capable to greatness!”
Aaron stood yelling in a room with nothing in it. He did not know where the voice was coming from, but it always spoke words of discouragement. It would tell him he had no chance of winning the tournament. That no one really loved him, they only put up with him because they felt sorry for him. That girls only talked to him so that they could make fun of him later. Aaron tried to tell himself that none of it was true, that it was just his mind playing tricks on him. But no matter how hard he tried; the voice would just get louder and start saying those mean things again. Pretty soon his dream shifted so that a door appeared in the room. Aaron ran for it and threw the door open, only to see a room full of horrible monsters. Each more foul the more you looked at them. They slowly came closer, hissing and whispering to him. “Which of us are you going to battle little boy? You know you can never defeat us!”And with that, they attacked.
Aaron Thomas sat built up right in his small bed inside the Beauxbatons carriage. His face was covered in sweat from the dream he had just had. His breathing was uneven and his head was pounding. It had not been the first time that he has had that dream. About a week after he was told what the first challenge was going to be, it would slip in and torments him in his sleep. He sat in bed for a few moments, letting his heart slow down to its normal rhythm. When it did, he forced himself out of bed and into the small bathroom.
The hot shower helped Aaron to relax and wash away his bad dream. He also brushed his teeth before stepping out of the bathroom where he walked over to his truck where he put his school uniform on along with a jacket. He was hungry and was going to go get something to eat before classes started. He would have waited for Beau, but he was still sleeping and Aaron didn’t feel like waking him up. So alone, he walked out of the room and made his way up to the large castle that was Hogwarts School. Inside, he walked into the great hall and made his way to the Ravenclaw table where most of the Beauxbatons students chose to eat at. He looked at the food and felt a pang of disgust for some of it. He would much rather eat his native French food then some of what Hogwarts served, but there wasn’t that much to chose from so he settled for some waffles. As he ate, his mid drifted back to his dream. As hard as he tried, he just couldn’t forget about it. He was about to just give up on eating when he heard his name being spoken. He looked up and saw the beautiful face of his friend Evelyn Lucille Mauvals. Although she preferred to be called Lucille, Aaron loved the sound of her real name. She sat down next to him and looked at the food that was on the table and made a remark. He couldn’t help but laugh. She was always complaining about the food here.
“Good morning Lucille, darling. I’m sorry that the food is not to your liking, but we must settle for what we can get.” Oh how he loved her smile, it seemed to light up the room and make everyone looked her way. But of course many people looked at Lucille more for her beautiful features then her smile. While he was looking at her, caught off guard by her smile, he thought he heard her say his name. He gave a shake of his head to clear his thoughts, waiting to hear what it was that she wanted to say. But she didn’t say anything so Aaron took it as he was just hearing things. Soon he started to pick at his food again while Lucille helped herself to a plate of bouillabaisse. When he had finished, he started to push a few strawberries around with his fork while he waited for Lucille to finish eating. He had just forked two strawberries together when she spoke. It turns out that she had said his name, she had just forgotten. “… the first task is in two day. Are you ready for it?” Instantly, visions of his dream flooded to his mid, but he pushed them back and pretended to act cool about the subject. “Lucille, if I was anymore ready I would explode!” Aaron shot her a daring smile and winked, it was a habit. And with that, the subject was dropped, to Aaron’s relief. It seemed as though Lucille was deep in thought, and Aaron didn’t want to disturb her, so he took to looking around the room. A few of the Hogwarts students started to come into the hall and where sitting at their tables. Soon he heard the sound of her pushing her plate away. He was about to ask if she wanted to leave, but she beet him to the punch and asked him to leave. She didn’t even wait for an answer before pulling him along after her. Once they where outside, she let go of him and they walked together down to the carriage. She offered him some toast as they walked, which he accepted and took a bite of toast. Lucille broke the silence that had fallen upon them since in the hall. “I’m so nervous, Aaron.” Aaron felt himself smile at these words, but it was short lived because of what Lucille said next. “I want Beauxbatons to win this Dimidium Tournament. Bring more honor to our school!” Aaron let out a sigh. “Don’t worry about it. Anastasia and I are both strong and brave, we’ll win this thing.” He smiled down at her and gave her a one armed hug. “Don’t you worry”.
They where just passing the carriage when Lucille stopped walking. “I need to run in, to get something. I’ll be right back!” She said before running inside. Aaron let out a sigh and kicked at a rock on the ground. Why was he being so stupid! Why would she be worried about him, of course they needed this win to bring honor to their school. They had to make up for losing the Triwizard tournament all those years ago. But part of him still wanted to know that she was worried that he might die in this tournament. It’s not like he was on vacation and doing some road games. His life was on the line! With another sigh he leaned against the carriage and waited for Lucille to return. She did a few minutes later with her purse. She said she was sorry and asked him what he would like to do. Aaron only smirked and looked down at her. “It’s fine, don’t worry about it. And I’m up for doing anything as long as I get to look into your beautiful eyes.”Aaron always flirted with Lucille, so he wasn’t sure if he had impressed her. She didn’t seem to be because she just asked more questions. “Yes, I do like quidditch, my brother John is on an international team in the states. His pretty good, he’s a seeker you know. Maybe I’ll take you to a game. I also play on the school team as a beater incase you forgot.” Sure Beauxbatons didn’t have that many games because there wasn’t always people to play, but they did play some of the neighbor’s schools and they where pretty good. Next Lucille asked if he had seen any of their friends. “Beau is in the carriage sleeping. I didn’t have the heart to wake the lazy guy up. Kind of glad I didn’t because now I get to spend more time with you.” Another wink and a smile. Aaron was full of them. She wrapped her arms around her and Aaron wondered if she was cold. It was a bit chilly outside so Aaron figured that she was. “You must be freezing love, here, take my jacket.” Before she could say anything, Aaron took off his jacket and wrapped it around her shoulder. “There, better?” He asked.
