- ○ --- You want to know a little bit about Miss. Allison Connor’s personality? Well sit down and be quiet and I will tell you everything you need to know to get to know her. Now first and for most, Allison’s major quality about her is that she is a very independent young woman. She likes to take care of things her self with as little to no help as she can get. You might think that growing up in a wealthy family would have her begging to be taken care of. But you would be wrong. It was because her parents where wealthy that she became independent. Although her parents aren’t as stuck up as some of the other rich families, they still liked to spoil their children like any good parent should. And although that worked a little with Allison’s two older brothers, it did not work with her. She liked the feeling of spending her own money. The money that she would work hours to make. Now she would still accept a little help from her parents, she wouldn’t let them go over board and do too much.
Now the next few large qualities kind of go together. These qualities are her friendliness towards others, her understanding nature towards people, and her sarcastic tone of voice. Growing up and going to school was a little hard for Allison and her brothers. Because their parents where very wealthy and very well known, it was hard to figure out who your real friends are. And although a lot of their friends where just using them for their money, the Connors children where very easy going about it. Allison and her brothers were very friendly people. They may be getting used by people for their money and know it, but they would always pretend that they didn’t notice it. Most of the time, they can tell that that particular person might be have a bad day and know that the Connor’s will help them out. And nine times out of ten, they will. But they first offer that person a chance to have someone to talk to. Some times that person doesn’t want to talk, and they accept that. Bur most of the times, that’s just what that person needed. The Connor’s where just nice to everyone because that was the way they were raised. It was because of this quality that Allison found some of her most loyal friends. They all stood up for each other and made sure the others where safe. This brings us to Allison’s sarcastic tone of voice.
You see, like her father and brothers, Allison has a very good sense of humor and loves to joke around a lot. By doing so, all the members of the family have a very intone sense of sarcasm. Now although this skill is used more for humor and joking around, it can also be used as a weapon when coming from Allison. She’s normally a very sweet and caring person, but if you say anything or mess with one of her friends or family members, you better run and hide because Allison will come after you. With her sarcastic tone under her belt, she will give you one of the most horrible talkings too in your life. She will come at you with everything you got. And although she does not throw punches or spread rumors, she can make you feel like utter crap after she has finished “talking” with you. So word to the wise, do not do anything to get her mad.
The last big quality of Allison Connor’s is that she is a very outgoing person. She loves to go out and try something new. Sure there are a few times where she is a little shy or afraid to do something, but she pulls through it and makes everything all right. She also loves adventures and going places where not a lot of people would like to go. As a child she was always the first person to climb higher up the tree then the other children. She was always the one to swing higher at the playground. Swinging as high as the top bar before letting go of the swing and launching herself into the air. This was Allison’s favorite part. For a few seconds, while she was in the air, she had the feeling like she was flying, like she could do anything. Of course her parents didn’t like her doing this, always saying that she could get hurt, but Allison didn’t care. It was thrilling and exciting and she would never stop doing it. It was because or this nature that she wanted to take the job at Disney World. She knew that it was something that many people dreamed about, and she was not going to let it pass her by.

- ○ --- It was a bright sunny November morning when Allison Connors was brought into the world and handed to her parents Jackson and Elizabeth. The two new parents where thrilled to learn their new baby was a girl. The Connors already had two children, both of them boys. The oldest of the two was named Jackson jr. after his father and the second oldest was named Aaron after Elizabeth’s father. They loved their sons very much, but both parents longed for a little baby girl. Jackson wanted a little girl because he wanted someone he could spoil, someone to be his little princess. Elizabeth wanted a girl because she wanted to give someone the childhood that she never had. This was easy to do because Jackson Connors was from a family with a large amount of money. And although they where very wealthy, they where not selfish about it. Every month, the family will donate a large some of money to a charity. They loved being able to help other people. It gave them that warm fuzzy feeling deep in their stomachs.
When they took Allison home, they put her in her very own room, which they had decorated like a fairy tail kingdom. They walls where painted a pale pink and in one corner was a large pink canopy bed big enough to fit five children. In another corner stood a rather large pink play castle with a slide and tower. It was a dream come true for any girl that wanted to be a princess. In the walk in closet were large amounts of sparkly dresses, skirts, tops, and the cutest little shoes in the world. It was all perfect, and by the time Allison was one, her mom started to put her in beauty pageants. With her curly light brown hair, her clear blue eyes, and her dimples; she won just about every pageant she was entered in. By the time she was seven, she had her own room to hold all her crowns and awards. But it wasn’t the life that Allison wanted. It was at a young age that Allison realized what it was that she wanted to do when she grew up; and that was to be a writer or an actress.
Alison loved writing and acting. They where her favorite parts of being in the pageants. Although she didn’t like writing speeches, he did like writing small stories. And because she was so good at pretending that she liked being in the pageants, she knew she was a good actress. Pageants where not really her idea of a fun time. But it was what her mother wanted, and Allison would do anything for her mother. It went on for a few more years. Allison put of the puffy dresses, the toe pinching shoes, and the baby doll make up; but it wasn’t her. Sure it was fun to make new friends, sing, and hang out with her mom; but it was starting to become a little too much for young Allison. It was when she was fourteen that her older brother Jason noticed that his sister was acting a little strange. She would one why at school and another way when she was at home. It was at this time that he confronted his sister, asking her what it was that was wrong.
At first, Allison kept a straight face and told her brother that there was nothing wrong with her and that she was perfectly happy. But her brother could see passed her words and would not let her leave until she told him the truth. It took a while, but Allison soon told him what it was that was bothering her. She told him how she didn’t like to compete in pageants. She told him how she didn’t like all the pink in her room. She even told him that she wanted to be a writer more then anything in the world. At first, Allison expected her brother he laugh at her, telling her that she was being silly. But he didn’t. He told her that he understood what it was that she was going through and that, if she wanted, he would help her tell their parents what she wanted to be a writer instead of a beauty pageant contestant. And that’s just what they did. They waited until supper to bring it up. At first, Allison’s parents where not very happy to learn that their only daughter did not want to compete in pageants anymore. But that lasted only for a few seconds. What was important to them was that their daughter was not happy.
From this moment, Allison’s parents made sure that they did everything to make their children happy. They listened to what it was that they had to say about things, making sure that it was really what they wanted rather then something that they where doing to make their parents happy. Allison was thrilled. Before the week was out, she re-did her whole room. What was once a very pink and princess happy room became a more normal bedroom. The pink walls where replaced with a light blue. The bed was traded in from something more comfortable and that matched the rest of the new furniture. All the fluffy dresses where also replaced with more jeans and sweaters. It’s safe to say that Allison was much happier. One thing that Allison kept form her pageants was her love for singing, acting, and writing. Her voice had a special tone to it that made it perfect for her personality. Instead of competing in beauty pageants, Allison put more of her time into entering writing competitions and performing in the school plays. Now instead of winning crowns and sashes, she was winning medals and ribbons.
It was her sophomore year in high school when she found out about the Disney summer plan. Being a huge Disney fan, she filled out an application and sent it in the very next day. She knew that she had a very small chance of being chosen, but that didn't stop her from hoping. While she waited, she continued to go through her life like normal. It wasn't until that summer that she got a letter from Disney. They told her that they loved her application, but due to over booking, she would not be able to go and work with them this summer. After reading this, Allison was heart broken. However, she continued to read on, seeing that their was more to read. They told her that they had put her on the list for next year. She was so excited.
The year passed by in a blur. The only thing on her mind was this summer when she would get to go to Disney World and work as one of her favorite Disney characters. Wendy Darling. Allison loved Wendy because she was a story teller and had a youthful spirit but was still able to know when it was time to grow up. Now summer is here and Allison can't wait to see what will happen.
