❝It flies so silently through the dark on its four wings that it may not be noticed even when nearby.❞
Crobats have four sets of wings -- two that come from either shoulderblade, and two that come from just above the hips. These latter two wings are smaller and usually hidden under clothing. The former two wings are always visible, and are difficult to hide. Despite their small size, these wings are powerful enough to carry Crobat wherever he or she needs to go. Walking isn't something a Crobat usually troubles itself with, they tend to fly wherever they intend to go. This does pose a problem, for Crobats have difficulty slowing down; they fly incredibly fast but they only have one speed. Slowing down usually results in crashing. Crobats tend to be smaller than other Pokémon, but that doesn't mean they are easily beaten up. Crobats rank among the fastest Pokémon, and it shows. They tend to live in dark places and function as a community rather than as family units.

Rogue, like Scorpio, hasn't been around long enough for very much to happen to him. Despite his mature nature, Rogue is younger than Scorpio by several months, making him twenty-two. He has a younger sister -- Arsenic, a Golbat -- and three younger brothers -- Vladimir, Drakul, and Hemo who are all Zubats. Arsenic is only nine months younger than Rogue while the triplet Zubats are thirteen. Rogue was born shiny, a unique genetic abnormality that results in alternate colors. Instead of being born with purple ears and hair (traits that indicate an eventual evolution into a Crobat), Rogue was born with pink and green coloring. He was born without his second set of wings, which began developing shortly before his evolution, around the time he hit puberty. Rogue was constantly made fun of for his bizarre coloring, which has led him to be very sensitive about it. For awhile, Rogue attempted to hide his natural coloring through hair dye, hats, etc. It never worked, but he has finally come to terms with his genetic abnormality.

As previously mentioned, Rogue is smaller than his Drapion partner, he barely reaches 5'5" and weighs about 120 pounds. Unlike Scorpio, Rogue acts a lot more like the hallmark of his species. He tends to keep to himself, but can be caring to a fault toward those that are close to him. Family means a lot to him, though the majority of the Zubat-family tend to care more about the community than the blood relations. Rogue is a bit of an introvert, even around his close friends. He's very intelligent and would much rather spend his spare time reading than fighting. Despite how different they appear on the surface, Scorpio and Rogue have a lot more in common than just the Poison-type. Rogue has a strong sense of justice that, when violated, often causes him to act irrationally in an attempt for revenge.

Rogue actually isn't my first shiny Pokémon. I caught a shiny Marill purely by chance in Pokémon Diamond (I named her Shiny!! and she is the most failsome Pokémon ever. I don't know if I'll actually turn her into a gijinka yet or not). Rogue is one of my favorite Pokémon though -- I have had a Crobat in every game since Silver. They're usually named "Vampire" or something similar though. Anyway. I was disappointed that Crobats didn't look as pink as they did in Silver/Gold/Crystal, but I've grown quite accustomed to their appearance now. (Their SoulSilver/HeartGold sprites are ADORABLE, btw.) Rogue, like Scorpio, doesn't have a decided sexuality.

Scorpio is Rogue's best friend. Though Scorpio occasionally picks fun of Rogue for his strange coloring, the two rarely fight. The differences between their species seems to only work well for them. Since Scorpio is fond of abusing the move Earthquake, Rogue is certainly glad to be a Flying-type.

Truth be told, Rogue isn't sure what to think of Gen. He's wary of him certainly, for it's not normal to see Ghost-types striking up friendships with those that aren't spirits of the departed or whatnot. Gen likes to tease Rogue about his coloring as well, which naturally puts a negative view in Rogue's head.

Arsenic is Rogue's little sister. She's not much younger than her brother and makes teasing him an art form. They usually get along pretty well, though she doesn't care much about family ties.

There's something undeniably creepy about these three, even if they are Rogue's little brothers. Like Gen, Rogue can't help but be wary of these three, family ties or not.
