The usual roleplay staples are still intact. No godmodding (lolz i haz all teh powrs, preferably seen in OCs with Touhou), autohitting (Reimu instantly makes Marisa lose a life by pelting her with yin-yang orbs), or powerplaying (Despite the fact Lily White isn't my character, I make her fly around yelling "Spring is here!" )
Note: Powerplaying will be an inactive rule until we have enough players

Nothing too harsh, kids. This means no explict violence, anything above kissing, hugging, and holding hands, or anything somewhat racist/sexist. Keep your fantasies to your imagination or something other than Gaia, i.e. the soon-to-be-created Touhou RP Board, where we will actually have the ability to have an 18 and up RPing section.

State your intentions clearly, that's what I always say! Touhou Akirandan is a semi-literate to literate roleplay. This means no chatspeak, but at the same time, no ten+ paragraphs of your day. Minimum of 2 or 3 paragraphs, and maximum of 5 to 6.

Not too many! You can have four canon characters and one original character. This gives you five characters to maintain; keep in mind, any inactive posters without an excuse will be removed!

Too much of anything is bad for you. In other words, when making an OC, please: no Mary Sues/Gary Stus. I will ask you to modify your character a bit.

Be yourself, 'cause everyone else is already taken. When playing a canon character, stay in character. We don't need a lazy Marisa or an unkind Byuraken. You will be removed if you stay out of character too much!

I need to know you read the requirements. When PMing me a profile/reserves, post profiles with the title "Girls are praying", and reserves with "Girls are waiting". Just for a little fun fact, these are what the japanese text in the corner while waiting for IaMP/SWR to load says, so as I know.

Gensokyo. A world where youkai and humans meet, battle, and befriend each other. Not like your everyday cup of coffee with the newpapers, what do you call them? Normal days.

No. Here, every day is a new adventure for any Gensokyian. For example, a vampire who makes a scarlet mist to block out the sun, a moon created by a lunatic princess that makes people go insane, endless feasts produced by an oni, flowers that stay put because of a lazy ferrywoman, an everlasting winter made by a ghostly princess, faith being taken by a shrine on top of a mountain. Those are just a little slice of what happens.

But it wasn't like this before. When the local shrine maiden didn't exist, humans and youkai joined together. The havoc began when some rebels decided youkai weren't as pure as them, and that's when the shrine maiden walked in, her shrine collapsed after something odd happened.

Now after the Summer of the Mysterious Shadows, the problems have been increasing by ten-fold. Rather than being adventures they are now life and death situations. The Human Defense Force, led by Mokou Fujiwara and Keine Kamishiwasawa, have been working for weeks. A well-known group known as YES, or Youkai Extermination Society, are looking for the cause of this. As well as these two groups another one arises, the Peacemakers. They are trying to bring an end to this, trying to make Gensokyo the way it was.

But there is one ring of rebellious youkai and humans called Take Over Gensokyo, or TOG. They want to rule it.

But the only question is: when will it end?

Biography: Originally a human and transformed in to a nekomata (wise neko with two tails) by science, she ran away at age 15 and found the library two years later, though she hadn't bothered entering until she was caught at her campsite by the Knights at her current age. She didn't know what they wanted with her, and she said her parents have no powers whatsoever. This they didn't believe after she had accidentally sent one of the Knights to a Buddhist Hell out of anger. Later on she learns her parents were once certain kinds of people...
Powers(3 MAX!): Sending people to a Buddhist Hell (rare, only happens when Megumi sees evil and hatred in their eyes), throwing a small fire out of a red lantern she constantly carries (that only harm LIVING things, thank god), the ability to transform in to a nekomata (the actual kind that is a cat with two tails. When she's in her human form the only visible parts are her two tails and her ears.)

Dislikes: Evil, hate, war, massacre...you name it.

You've heard of blue moons, right? If not, they're beautiful, beautiful moons that appear once every three or four years, if I'm not mistaken. And the Blue Moon even earned its own phrase: once in a blue moon, which means somebody refuses to do something.

Anybody who's normal simply takes out their folding chairs, look at it for a little bit, snap some pictures, etc. But the other people reach out for these moons. They say if you reach out for a blue moon, something very special will happen.

The group of kids who decide to do so come from different timelines; from way back in the past to the future. They eventually all meet in the utopia of Chara, where happiness and joy awaits them. Little do they know it's much more than just a haven of joy...
