Roy silently walked down the street towards his old house. He stopped outside and looked up at it, struggling to keep the bad memories out of his head. He sighed and shoved his hands in his pockets and continued walking. He heard kids playing behind him and remembered his son, living with his ex-wife. He shrugged off the thoughts blocking his thinking and crossed the road, lost in different thoughts. Thoughts that didn't hurt him.

Finding a place to stop, Roy stood underneath a bus stop and sat down. The breeze was warm and felt like knives, digging into the skin. He sighed and looked around. He hated everything that had happened in this town, but he was there for a reason. The reunion. He sighed and laid down on the bench, tired. His black coat fell off the sides and he pulled it back up, not wanting to dirty it.

Suddenly, Roy sat up, a thought coming to him. He'd have to talk to Jamie. He ran his fingers through his hair in frustration and got up, then kicked the bus stop hard. He lent on it and, cursing under his breath, thought about what he was going to say after all these years. He walked in silence down the street, irritably as ever, and struggled to control his anger.

To take his mind off of it, Roy started humming his favorite song. It wasn't one of his, but it was a good song. Go With The Flow. It was by Queens Of The Stone Age, then best badn he knew beside his own. He ran his fingers through his hair and noticed how much pain there was in his foot. He sat down on a bench and rubbed his leg, still humming quietly. He heard his phone ring and took it out of his pocket, looking at it. It was his son calling.

"Hey, Joshua. Aren't you supposed to be at school?" He asked, rubbing the back of his neck.
"It's a bank holiday today, dad," He replied quietly.
"Oh. Right, right," Roy said. "Well, where's your mum?"
"She's here," He replied. "Hey mum, dad wants you," He said faintly.
"What do you want, Roy?" She said quietly.
"I wanted to see how my ex-wife is doing, Julie," Roy said. "How's -" He started, but she hung up. "Charming."

Roy heard his alarm clock go off ten minutes early. He moaned and rolled over in bed, trying to block out the noice. He got to his feet and picked up the alarm clock, then threw it out of the open window. He heard it hit a car and the car alarm went off. He sighed and shrugged off his tiredness, then went to his wardrobes, yawning loudly. He pulled out his clothes and got dressed, then put on his bowler hat. He pulled on his leather jacket and walked to the front door. He stopped, then turned back and picked up his phone and keys. It was a lonely walk as he made hs way towards the cafe, the cold wind hitting him like knives.

Roy pulled his hat down so the brim blocked out any cold. He shivered slighlty and made his way towards the coffee shop, he grew more nervous. He didn't want to see Leah as much as he thought he would. He sighed and walked into the coffee shop. He took off his jacket and scanned the room, then saw Leah, Caitlynn and Lilith. He felt more nervous just by looking at them. They were all so different, so beautiful. He shuddered and pulled up a chair, then sat down at the table.
"So, how are my three favorite ladies doing?" He asked, grinning. He took off his hat and put it on the back of his chair, along with his jacket.

Raven climbed down from the tree, picked up her ruck sack and slung it over one shoulder. She walked past the guy and continued towards the school. She got her dorm key and looked around to see which way to go. She decided to take a left and walked slowly down the corridor. She came to a dorm that said Co-ed Dorm 3. She smiled and went to unlock the door, but caught sight of a little sign hanging off the handle.

Raven stared at it and thought, then she pushed the thought away and unlocked the door. She looked into the room and saw two single beds, one on each side of the room. It was a big room, so there was no problem. Suddenly, her eyes widened. She ran back outside and checked the names, then stared at it again. Co-ed. She was sharing a dorm with a boy. She ran back inside, locked the door, unpakced her things then left before he could get there and see her.

A teen lay on the sofa, a small, empty bottle dangling from his right hand. Evidently, he had been drinking heavily the night before. He stirred slightly in his sleep and woke at the sound of a voice. He knew it was Cassie, but was too tired to answer. He sat up and looked down at his jet black jeans, seeing a small rip in the leg. His black shirt was torn as well, as if he'd been in a fight. It would be useful if he could remember the events of the night before, but then he noticed the empty bottle of beer he had in his hand. he sighed and dropped it. It hit the carpet with a dull thud and he yawned quietly, getting to his feet.
___He heard a reply from his good friend, Ange, and sighed again. He rubbed the back of his head and pondered for a few moments, before staggering towards the second kitchen door. He looked at Angela, who was sitting at the table with her back to him. Apparently, her older brother and ever loving drop out was out, leaving the three of them. He slouched into the kitchen and picked up a mug off the side. He went to the kettle and turned it on, then turned around, slipping slightly on the smooth kitchen floor, his bare feet making it easier to slide. He poured himself and coffee and sipped it, looking at Angie over the top of the mug.

Roy turned away at the sight of Lucas kissing Taylor. He always found it pretty sick when they kissed, but it was their choice, not his. After their brief and annoying conversation, Roy heard a Taylor ask him something. Before he could reply to the question, however, freezing cold water hit his back, making him jump up and turn around. A group of the silliest boys he had ever seen were watching him, laughing insanely, a mop bucket laying empty on the floor.

Roy sighed and clenched his fist, three words going through his head again and again. Don't spaz out. Don't spaz out. Don't spaz out. He sighed once more and sat down again, pulling his soaking shirt away from his skin.

"Uhh..." He hesitated, really not quite sure. "Yeah," Roy replied finally, looking at Taylor and pulling his drenched headphones out of his ears.Oh, God, they trashed my iPod!" He yelled angrily, looking around. Suddenly losing his cool, he jumped up and started shouting at the boys, almost all the swears he knew came pouring out of his mouth as he shouted at the group.

A young, dark haired teen was standing in the school field, one foot steadily balanced on a football. He kicked it into the air and attempted to keep it up as long as possible. He was alone on the field, which gave him better concentration. He didn't care if the bell had rang. All he cared about was keeping the football off the ground.

Sighing, the teen dropped the football and started walking up towards the school, swinging the heavy school bag over his shoulder. He walked past a few classes, only to pause outside one. He saw Daniel and various other friends sitting inside, which made him smile. Feeling rather hyper, he decided to mess about with his fellow friends.

Waving his hands energetically to get their attention, he pointed frantically at the teacher and pretended to hang himself. Most of the class laughed, and when the teacher looked round, he slipped out of sight. He appeared back at the window when the teacher turned their back. He grinned and pulled stupid faces, making himself look like someone who deserved to be in an asylum for the mentally ill.

Roy was laying on his bed, his iPod playing loudly through the headphones. He was sprawled at such an angle that he could prop his book up on his pillow and read. The book was the most enjoyable he had ever read, and he had read lots of books. He had almost literally cleared out the library in the British country village. He loved it there, especially the way he fitted in from his accent. He remembered spending hours upon hours int he library, reading.

There wasn't much time to drift into thought after those vague memories, as Roy's eyes slowly slid shut and his head hit the soft pillow. It was hardly a second before he was waking up, the sound of seagulls and waves breaking the silence. The cold bed that he was laying on had turned into hot, scalding sand. He sat up hastily and staggered to his feet, rubbing his elbows where the sand had burnt him. He looked around, his eyes wide with fright.

The scene of a sandy beach surrounded him, very unlike the black walls of his bedroom. He walked towards the water, stumbling as he went. A queasy feing had come over him, feeling like he was going to be sick, but just couldn't manage it. He stared around him, trying to understand.
"Oh, s**t..." He whispered softly, realising where he was. He was in the scene of the book, where he was standing on a sandy beach, the water rippling ahead of him.

Raven folded her arms and watched Tatum, only taking in half of what he was sayng. All the same, she didn't like it one bit. She glared at him angrily and stayed seated, not prepared to move just because he said so.

"I should never have cared for you. I worry about you, and all you do is scoff in my face," She snapped angrily, getting up. She stood on her skateboard and frowned. "You're such a b*****d," She spat, before skating off.
