- 'Yes, I already know who you are..." Rereading the pages of notes he took over the subject at his old school, everything seemed simple. "Yeah." He stated with confidence. "I'm good at photosynthesis." Honestly, the boy thought it was the most interesting thing since sliced bread, but he wasn't about to tell her that. Not when his own reputation was on the line. For the remainder of the hour, they continued to work together. Majority in silence, but other than that he was beginning to like this school. Being the first group finished, he noticed that everyone else was working. Closing his notebook and textbook, he stuffed both of them into his backpack. Gazing up at the clock, he noticed that they had about half and hour left of AP Biology, before second period started. Leaning back in the stool, he could already guess how much boredom he would have to suffer.
Every now or then, he would look at Olivia out of the corner of his eyes. Obviously, she seemed just about as bored as he was at the moment. If he started a conversation now, he would probably stutter again--which honestly, got on his nerves. He never stuttered before, especially when it came to girls. Back in Florida, he had his share of girlfriends...but there wasn't a girl down there who could make him feel like a complete nervous wreck. Averting his attention back to the board, everyone else continued working. Even Matt was still working, and with the way things were going between him and his crush--it wasn't exactly what he would call calm. Matt constantly dropped the necessary supplies for the project, while the girl seemed annoyed. Leave it to him to completely ruin an experiment. Smirking at the sight, he slowly brought his head down to the table. With his head down, he closed his eyes.
Maybe he could take a nap or so. Thirty minutes of napping could easily wake him out. The only things he could hear were the clattering of the observation trays, microscopes, and talking. Taking? He opened his eyes a little and turned his head away from Olivia to the right. "Yeah, did you hear about this party tonight?" Attentively listening, Carson came up with an idea. 'Okay, so all you have to do is ask her if she's going to the party.' Sitting up, he decided the easiest way to ask would be to just look at the front of the room. Taking a deep breath, he just brought the question out in the open. "Hey Olivia." He began while taking another breath in between his words. "Are you going to that party tonight?"
If she did say she was going, then he would further ask if she wanted to go with him, but for now he would have to wait for her to say something. 'Wait. Maybe I should ask her to come with me. What the hell!? Give it a shot.' Immediately, he faced towards her. "Because, I was wondering if maybe. Just maybe. You wanted to go with me...?" Even though his voice faded towards the end of that question, hopefully he wouldn't ask her to say that again. If she did say yes, then the only problem would be to figure out where the party was, since Carson had no ******** idea where it was.

- Well, this might be a bit long, but The Everard family pretty much prospered in Lady, North Carolina. Starting off with my great grandparents who immigrated from France to America back in the 1940's to avoid the world war. My grandparents were interesting people. They always craved money and power, which was what brought them to the "country of opportunities" in the first place. Fast forward a couple of years, and you have my parents: Danny Jaspard Everard and Melanie Anne Johns. My dad was the charmer of the family, while using his French accent to seduce every pretty face with a pulse around. Though, the moment he met my mother he got cold feet. After that, they fell in love, got married, and then had me--the only child they would ever have. Growing up with my parents was an adventure. They were the outdoorsy type. I'm half French, if you haven't noticed. And yes, I can speak French. Anyways, they were quite ambitious people, who craved nothing but experiencing the thrill. Though, when we were home, they were busy participating in charity events--everything from a blood drive to a marathon. My parents were amazing people. Of course, being the only child in the family, I would often feel lonely when my parents went out for the night. I was okay though, since I felt that it would be selfish if I constantly asked my parents to bring me along. Thinking back then, they were good parents. They brought me up right by teaching me how to be kind to others and strive to do my best to help those in need. I always love how devoted they were to everyone, and I was quiet jealous of the bond they had.
Every since I was little, I always wanted to grow up in a perfect family with the perfect husband, children, and home. I wanted to be the modern-day Cinderella. I know, it sounds a bit childish and naive, but it was my dream. One event however, changed my life, along with my relationship with my parents. When I was fifteen, I was helping my parents out with their charity run, until I got pushed into an alley way. Scared, I tried screaming for help, but that only made things worse. I was rapped. I remember that day unlike any other. When the guy left the alley way, I cried, since that was the only thing I could do. Hearing footsteps, I noticed a man standing right in front of me, but this time it was a different man. That man would later be known as Julian. At first, I was terrified of what he wanted to do with me, but then he offered to help me, if I needed help. Scared of how my parents would react to the rape, I decided to go with him, since that was the only thing I could do. At first, things were a bit awkward since I found out he was a drug dealer. I never did like drugs, and going off with complete strangers wasn't really my thing. But, now that I think about it, he not that bad. He supported me through college and took care of me and my son--who was born a year later. Now, seventeen years later, Julian became rich, and we moved to Lady. As for me, I'm currently teaching AP history at the local high school. After all these years, I realized that I might be able to achieve my dream of having a wonderful family. Though part of that dream came early, I'm quite optimistic about the future.
personality
- How old do you think I am? Thirteen? Twenty-one? I appreciate the flattery, but I am really older that that. Because of my childish looks, I often get mistaken as a teenager, which gets a bit awkward when you have a seventeen-year-old son. I really love my son. I love him a lot. He means the world to me, and even though I'm ashamed of my past, just thinking about how I have him here with me today, completely makes up for it. I know, everything happens for a reason, and yet I'm happy that he's in my life. I guess you could say that I'm a very loving person. I care about everything. It can be from my own family to the animals who are endangered across the earth. If you need someone to support a cause, I'll be there. I'll practically be the person running it, if you need the assistance. If you need someone to listen to you, I'll be there. I like helping others. Just like my parents, I feel the need to show the world that there are people in this world who care. Majority of the time, you'll see a smile on my face. No, I am not faking the smile. It's one hundred percent pure. I hardly get mad. I hate being angry at people. I don't blame others often, and I practically carry the burden on myself--but I'm okay with it. I'm not really optimistic, nor pessimistic. Though, I don't really believe in hope. The whole concept just seems so far-fetched, and I can't believe that there are people in the world who live without a care. It just seems so impossible.
Unfortunately, ever since that rape unspeakable event happened seventeen years ago, I'm afraid of human contact. It gets so serious that I can't even touch my own son, or give him a hug without thinking of that event. I feel so bad that I practically cry about it when he's not home. He doesn't deserve to have a mother who won't even touch him. Honestly at times I feel like a complete failure, but at least I know that he's always going to be there for me, especially when I need him the most. I'm willing to forgive and forget. In fact, I'm a very forgiving person. I can't stay mad at a person, nor can I not keep a straight face. I know it probably gets on someone's nerves, but I can't help it. At school, I act the same. I'm kind to everyone, and act as the motherly figure. Or, at least I try to. I decided to become a history teacher because I love history. It intrigues me, and makes me question events. With my love of history along with helping others, I managed to become an AP World History teacher at the public school. Luckily, I don't have to come in contact with my students. If I did, I have no idea how I would react to it.
relationships
- Let's start off with the people I live with. Julian isn't my husband. We just live together. He's a really nice guy, who's always there for me, and he's a good father towards my son. I wouldn't have met him, if he offered to take me. I know he deals drugs. That's why he's so rich. Surprisingly, he good at hiding it from the other people in the neighborhood, which is a good thing. I wouldn't want to get caught with that stuff when the cops find out, but I don't think Julian will ever get caught. My son, Mr. Confused means the world to me. I can't imagine my life without him. I just hope that I raised him up right, but with all the awards crowding his walls, I guess that's a sign that I did. Cornelia and I are friends. She's probably the closest friend I have in Lady, other than Julian. I'm very grateful to her, for she's trying to help me defeat my fears of human contact. As for her husband, Mr. Mysterious, I don't really know much about him. He's very closed off from the world, and he doesn't like going outside much.
Lady has some interesting people. From what I heard, Elliot is a workaholic. She's never home, since she's always busy with the finances or her boutique. Though, I'll have to admit her boutique is fabulous. This next part, I really don't think you should know, but I think I found the missing piece to my wonderful dream. Please, stay quiet about this. I'm in love with James. I know it's wrong, since he's married and has two sons, but I can't help it. Sometimes love is incomprehensible, but I still can't believe that I fell for a married man. James likes to stay at home, so I don't see him too often. Then, there's Finn, who is the perfect definition of a businessman. I heard he's very successful, but Julian can't stand him. I'm not really sure why, since he hasn't told me. Last night, Finn was at our doorstep. He's one of my husbands "customers," but it's not like his wife knows anyways. Speaking of which, his wife, Marissa is everything a woman likes me wishes to be. She is the perfect housewife who can cook, clean, and take care of her children perfectly. Just thinking about how good she has it off, makes me a bit jealous. I'm not exactly close to her, but that doesn't explain why tons of men show up at her doorstep.
Well, I was surprised to hear that Lady had a single mother and daughter, since majority of the people here are either happily married or living with someone--like me. Though, they're nice people. Abigal is actually happy with being single. She's very successful, and I don't really understand how she does it all. How can she happily raise a daughter without a husband? I've heard that she's into rich men, but that could just be a rumor. Her daughter, Grace goes to the same school as my son, Mr. Confused. I haven't really met her, but I've heard she's a nice kid.
SINCERELY

- Feeling her arms wrap around my neck, created goosebumps on my arms. Sure, this wasn't exactly the first time she did that, but I felt nervous. Glancing at my parents, they seemed to finally settle down. Adjusting myself in my seat, Tucker's arms went back to her side. So, I normally called her "Tucker," not "Riley." Okay, that works. "I don't know. It was something that was on the tip of my tongue, and I knew I had to say it." Unaware of the fact that my head was still hurting, Tucker suggested to take me around town. With my parent's approval, I stood up from my seat and watched mom hug Tucker. Alright, I was going to be walking all over town with Tucker tomorrow. I don't really know what to expect, but for some reason I'm excited.
- THE NEXT DAY
"Jesus. I'm coming." Damn it. How the hell can she prance around like that!? We're walking up a steep hill, and I can't even climb it without feeling like I'm about to collapse over. Watching her run ahead of me, I couldn't help but laugh. The way she was dancing in the grass, made everything around us seem so damn unreal. I felt like I was in some storybook, or some romance movie. However, hearing her comment made me pick up my pace as I quickly caught up to her. "Happy now? I'm pretty sure the wolves won't get me now." I said, while crossing my arms over my chest. "But, it's not like you'd miss me, right?" Looking down at her, I smiled. This whole day had been exhausting. First went went to the elementary school. Supposedly, Tucker and I used to go there when we were kids. Then she took me to the middle school, where she ran into some of "our" old teachers. Half the time, I didn't even know who those people were, so I just acted like I knew them. Lastly, she dragged me over to the high school, where the principal let us roam the hallways. I wasn't exactly sure why she brought me here either, but I just went along with it. Every now or then, she would peer into one of the classrooms, and say hi to some teachers.
Then, we stopped at a park. "You're trying to kill me, aren't you?" Bending over, I tried to catch my breath, as I watched her swinging. Something about this place seemed familiar. I couldn't quite grasp what it was though. Looking over the trees, the blue sky was beginning to change into a yellowish, orange. The sun was beginning to set. Suddenly, I felt that Tucker was tugging on my arms again. Without hesitating, I let her take us to this hill. Hearing her comment about me out of shape made me laugh. "I guess you could say that. I've been in a hospital room, so I haven't been able to do anything." Damn, another steep hill. This time, I was able to keep up with her, even though she kept pestering me to walk faster. Finally, we arrived at the top, when she told me that the sun was setting.
Looking over the hill, I kept my eyes on the colorful sky ahead of us. Suddenly, my head began hurting again. Bringing my fingers to my head, I looked over at Tucker for the first time today. This time I just stared at her, as my mind began to remember something...
- "Tucker! Come on!" Heading up the hill, I wanted to show her the place that I found last week. I stumbled upon it when I came back from school late. "What is it?" Reaching behind me, I grabbed her arm as I helped her up the hill. "You'll see." Finally, we both reached the top. Bending over, I tried to catch my breath, as I noticed she was already watching the sun set at the railing. Whipping the sweat off my face, I walked over to her. Suddenly, I felt nervous. Reaching inside my pocket, I pulled out a square shaped box. No, I wasn't proposing. I was only thirteen, for crying out loud. I was planning on doing something far more than that. Feeling my heart pound loudly against my chest, I stopped to look at her. "Brendon? What is it?" Hearing her question, only made my heart beat even more. "Um." Hesitating, I could feel my palms getting sweaty. Then, for the first time I noticed how beautiful she looked. The sun was setting behind her, which gave her this angelic glow. I couldn't even describe how beautiful she looked. Taking a deep breath, I nodded. "You're beautiful." With that, I opened my palm to reveal a box, and gave it to her. Inside was a...
Blinking at the sudden memory, now I remembered. This was the place when I finally acknowledged Tucker as a girl. Looking back at the sunset, I noticed that this time it wasn't setting behind her. It was setting in front of us. Noticing the glow on her face, made me speechless. Feeling my heart slam against my chest, I continued to look at her. "You're beautiful."
occ: i hope you didn't mind the god-modding in the flashback (everything in italics including the speech is the flashback).
if you'd like me to change something, I will.
but, i'm beginning to like where this is going (:

❝ impossibilities are merely things which we have not yet learned. ❞
the quote credit : Charles W. Chesnutt -- the intelligent jockette
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
- Played soccer with the neighborhood kids? Check.
Went for a five mile run? Check.
Got ready for the party? Wait. No. Remembering the party, France quickly ran while dribbling the ball between her two feet. Easily sliding past the defensive line, she went for a goal. "Goal!" She yelled as her arms went up in the air. With a smile on her face, she glanced down at her watch. "Crap." It was 7:40. The party was only twenty minutes away, and she hasn't even gotten ready yet. "France, are you leaving already?" Looking down at one of the kids, she gave them an apologetic look. "I'm sorry. I have somewhere I need to be. I'll come back next Friday." And with that, she began running in the opposite direction.
Stopping in her tracks, she took a deep breath. Whipping the sweat from her forehead, she bent over to catch her breath. Her day consisted of nothing but running five miles, and then heading over to the field to play soccer. She played with the kids every Friday, since Danny, her brother used to teach the kids. Since, he left to college, it was her job to teach them. Standing back up, she took a quick breather, and began running home. Entering the building, she took the elevator. Climbing up the stairs to the top floor would be the death of her. Forgetting to tell the guy which floor, she gave him an apologetic look. "Top floor." Feeling the elevator move, she leaned back and took her hair out of the ponytail. Glancing at her watch, it was already 7:45, she had about fifteen minutes to take a shower, get dressed, and get her a** to the party. "Top floor, Miss Cassino." Thanking the guy, she ran out of the elevator, and into her penthouse. It a fairly huge penthouse for only two people living there. Her older brother was at college, which left her and Delores, their maid, at home. Her parents were never home, since they cared about work more than their own family. Either way, France wasn't really close to her parents. She decided that Delores and Danny were the only family she needed. "France! There you are." Noticing Delores with her hands on her chest. Releasing a deep sigh, she pushed the girl into the shower. "The clothes you ordered came in today. They just dropped them off thirty minutes ago." Delores stated. "I'll be in the living room, if you need me." Emerging from the shower, Miss Loralie France Cassino, entered her bedroom and pulled this outfit on. With cashmere being her favorite, she never left the house without a cashmere cardigan. Completely versatile, it could be worn in the hot or cold. The rest of her outfit consisted of expensive brand names, since wearing anything of a brand name was the trend these days.
"Delores! Have you seen my shoes?" France asked, as she ran into the living room. "Stop running will you! You already worked out today." Shaking her head back and forth, Delores smiled at her. France was the child she never had. She loved her with all of her heart. Walking over to the coat closet, she pulled out a pair of silver sandals. "Here." Handing them over, France rolled her eyes with a smile on her face. "Gracias." Running back into her bedroom, she quickly plugged in the dryer and began running her fingers through her wet hair. Unplugging the dryer, she ran into her large, walk-in closet. Grabbing a gray Marc Jacobs purse, she ran back into her room and began packing all the necessary items into her bag. Lip stick? Check. iPhone? Wait. Where was her phone? 'Where the hell is it!?' Suddenly, hearing her phone buzz to Party In Your Bedroom by Cash Cash, she knew it was from Alix. After tossing some clothes all over the place, she managed to find her phone in her soccer shorts. "s**t. I left a mess for Delores...again.' Tapping on the screen, she quickly read the text, as she began picking up her clothes. Delores would kill her, if she didn't clean some of her mess.
- Alix!
hell yeah, i'm ready.
just let me finish getting ready.
meet you and the girls outside.
-- France
Placing her phone in her bag, she walked over to he mirror and scrutinized herself. Tightly crossing her arms over her chest, she began to criticize her outift. Dropping her arms to her side, she shrugged. Normally, she didn't care about what she wore, but tonight changed her outlook. The Spaniard was going to a party, and it wasn't just any party. It was a party for the new upperclassmen. If you were anybody you would certainly show up here. Facing her room, she noticed that everything seemed to be in order again. Smiling at the sight, she headed out of her room. She knew, for sure, that tonight's party was going to be awesome. France had already repeatedly told herself that, when she realized that she was going to be meeting the guys for the first time. Opening the fridge, she pulled out a bottle of water. As her slender fingers wrapped around the bottle, she began to take a sip of the delicious beverage. With a smirk on her face, she couldn't wait to see the guys who were causing chaos in their town. Leaving the bottle on the counter, she traveled to the door. "Delores! Me voy!" For meeting them would certainly bring a challenge, and a challenge called for competition. Just thinking about it made her smile even more. If anyone around here was competitive, it would definitely have to be this jockette. "Have a safe trip!"
Waving back at Delores, she quickly headed out the doors and out to the elevators. "Lobby, Miss Cassino?" Nodding at the man, she felt her adrenaline pump. She seriously needed to do something athletic. If not that, then something challenging. France was dying for a challenge. "Lobby." Stepping out the doors, she turned back towards the man. "Thanks." Facing the doors, she headed outside and looked both ways for her friends. Noticing that they weren't here yet, she pulled out her phone and quickly wrote up another text to all the girls.
- hey girls,
where are you at?
Leaning against the gate, she crossed one foot over the other. Now, all she had to do was wait for a response, along with the arrival of her friends. Man, tonight was definitely going to be fun.

- Attentively listening, he nodded his head at what she had said, but that still didn't answer his question. "You're probably aware that you didn't answer my question." He stated with a bit of sarcasm in his voice. Smirking at the girl, he stood up from the seat and casually walked over to the seat behind her. Instantly, he grabbed her arm. "Wait." He began. "Okay, the sarcasm wasn't necessary, but don't go." Surprised by his own action, she quickly let go of her arm. "Sorry" Awkward, much? Leaning back in the seat, she stretched out his legs and propped them on the book tray underneath her desk. Listening to her speak, Trent was confused. What did she mean it wasn't his time to go yet? 'What the hell?' Furrowing his eyebrows, he crossed his arms over his chest. It was her first instinct? "What do you mean...first instinct?" Noticing her pull out her phone, he quietly sat there, as she did her business. Sure, he could ask who the text was from, but that would be rude. Plus, it wasn't any of his business. Trent was egotistical, but he wasn't nosy. Definitely cocky, but not too into what others are doing. Feeling his own phone vibrate, only added to his confusion. Who could be texting him? Glancing at the text, it was Brendon.
- dude,
where the hell are you!?
class already ended, and some freshmen are getting into a fight.
hurry up, or you'll miss it.
Smirking at the text, he rolled his eyes in amusement. A fight would definitely be interesting at this time, but it wasn't important. What he wanted to know was how Skyla-Arabella saved him. He already knew that she was the one who saved him, but how did she manage to get a bullet that was practically five inches into his chest out? And what in the world happened after she left? Why did he wake up with ketchup on his apron? Why was there a huge whole in his uniform around his chest. Why were the cops there? What ever happened to the guy who shot him? There were so many questions running through his head, and yet he only considered one to be important at the moment. Remembering the text, he shook his head back and forth. Right, he needed to jot down a response.
- chill. out. dude.
i'm going to have to skip out on that.
i'll meet you in the caf.
give me ten mins.
Pressing send, he noticed that it was 12:30. Lunch had just started. What was about to come from the girl's mouth surprised him. What did she mean she wasn't suppose to be hanging out with Trent? "What the hell?" Adjusting his position in the seat, he couldn't believe that her brother wouldn't allow her to hang out with him. Who listening to siblings these days? Obviously, Trent didn't have to deal with following orders from siblings, since he was an only child. The only people who gave him orders were his parents. Hell, sometimes he didn't even listen to Brendon. But hearing this, aggravated him. Waiting for her to get up and leave, he continued to sit there. Slumped in the back of the chair, with his hands balled in fists on the top of the desks. Noticing that she wasn't leaving, made him question her motives. "Aren't you going to leave?" Watching her just sit there, he undid his fists. 'Guess she isn't moving.' Suddenly, she brought up the question that Trent desperately wanted to know. How did she save him? "Yeah, how did you save me?" He began, while pursing his lips. "I mean, there's no way you could have taken a bullet that was like jammed into my chest out. Unless you have superpowers or something." Laughing at the thought, he couldn't believe that she had superpowers. There was just no way. Superpowers. Ha, yeah right. "Unless, you're like really good with guns or something..." Closing his eyes, he realized that what he said just didn't make any sense. 'Good with guns. Nice going Trent.' He was babbling again. The only time Trent Knight babbled was when he was curious about something, and yes he was curious about this. "There's something you're hiding from me. Isn't there?" Wait, he wasn't suppose to be asking her that. It wasn't any of his business. Confused with his own actions, he slammed his head against the desk. "I don't know what the ******** I'm talking about anymore...." Taking a deep sigh, he closed his eyes, as his head laid on the desk.
's**t.'
occ: it's fine, don't worry about it.
hope mine wasn't too repetitive.

- she's fresh to death, she'll be the death of you.
seduction leads to destruction.
- Falling on the hotel bed, Ziniada sighed. So far, this afternoon had been nothing but weird, and it was all because of the paparazzi. After they were able to get some food, the moment they stepped out, reporters began flooding the area, so all of them had to push their way out and run in the other direction. It wasn't exactly how she thought it would be. She thought being famous would be awesome, but that was before she forgot about how the reporters act like stalkers. Eventually, they were able to go shopping. Though, the whole time she was thinking about how to ask her parents about this whole royal thing. Why were they hiding it from her in the first place? Just thinking about how to ask them, made her head hurt. Rolling over to the other side, Ziniada picked up a magazine from the floor and began flipping through it. 'Great, it's in gibberish. French gibberish.' Closing the magazine, she tossed it behind her. "Whoa. Watch it Zini." Turning her back, she noticed the magazine was now in her father's grip. Giving him an apologetic look, she sat up. "Is there something you're hiding from me and Noelle?" Squinting her eyes at her father, she noticed his calm expression turned nervous. Hearing a sigh, he walked over and sat down next to his daughter.
"Well, I guess you deserve to know now, since the paparazzi gave it away." Sitting closer to her father, she tried to get in focus, so that way she would understand everything he was about to say. "I am a prince of Russia. Right now my parents are ruling over the country." Blinking at the thought, her mouth grew wide. "Oh my gosh. so we are royal!" Rolling his eyes at his daughter, he crossed his arms over his chest. Lowering his voice, he told her not to yell, since Brooke doesn't know that he's telling Ziniada the truth. "Ah, right. Sorry." Shrugging at his daughter, he figured that it couldn't be helped. Ziniada greatly resembled Brooke, though she inherited her father's love for music. Smiling down at his daughter, Demetri felt as if he met Brooke for the first time yesterday, since the memories were so clear. "Did I tell you that I used to be in an arranged marriage with princess Emma of Britain?" Remembering the b***hy princess, she laughed. There was no way she could picture her father with someone like Emma Randal. "No, seriously. I wasn't too .. excited about it either. So, I decided to run away from my guards."
