This was exactly why they shouldn’t have wasted so much money going on this trip. If Aei Young didn‘t convince me to go, then we could have spent this entire week working and saving money instead of . . . staring at the ocean. Near the doorway of the rather elaborate hotel, a sweating young woman was standing awkwardly in the lobby. Instead of wearing a stylish bikini and jewelry that would scream wealth, Mi Yeon was wearing a simple one-piece that wasn‘t even shown. She was covered up from head to knee, wearing a hoodie and beanie that covered most of her skin. She had no desire to show off her body to anyone right now. After all, what was the point in dressed up fancy when it’s your vacation. Mi Yeon didn’t care if it made her almost invisible, it was better to be left alone than bothered. So what if she didn’t stand out like her little sister, Aei Young had always been able to befriend people without even trying. No one seemed to notice that Aei Young was sisters with Mi Yeon, and that didn’t really phase her. Right now, she wanted to focus on this trip entirely. So far she wasn’t really enjoying this little vacationing. It was too hot on Turtle Island, too many people that she didn‘t get along with, and the worse part was that she couldn’t even find somewhere peaceful to quietly read. With her glasses pushed up on her nose, Mi Yeon stood quietly with a book in her hands. She needed to fix this one way or another, and the only choice that seemed to go through her mind was sneak out to somewhere that no one else would want to go.
Inhaling deeply, Mi Yeon started walking slowly towards the beach. Although it wouldn’t be quiet, she couldn’t really think of anything else to do other than go there and read. Walking along the beach, it was almost sickening to see how all of her classmates were acting. They were standing there with their skimpy clothes and manicured nails, playing on the edge of the water as if they were filming a modeling session. That was sickening in itself, but that wasn’t even the worse thing around. Looking from behind her glasses, she could see them. The four flowers of the school which happened to go by the nickname F4. It was kind of pathetic that they had their own nicknames, since what really was the point of it? Rolling her eyes at the thought, Mi Yeon turned her attention away from them and back towards the beach. Why should she keep staring at them, it would only cause her problems and she didn’t want to do anything that might risk her peace and quiet. It was just two more years left at Shin Hwa and then she’ll be free to go to college and forget all about this chapter of her life. With a sigh, Mi Yeon continued her search for a quiet place to read.
After walking about a mile down the beach and back up there was one thing that she had discovered. It was going to be impossible to find somewhere peaceful outside! She thought that she found a nice place once, but soon her idiotic classmates had started to play tag and make tons of noise. So, she was left trying to find somewhere else again. Dragging her feet in the sand as she walked back towards the hotel, she felt the weird gaze on her as she crossed the area where F4 was feasting outside with their fancy wine glasses and girls hanging over them. Puffing her checks out, she couldn’t understand what anyone could see in them. Walking even faster now, soon she was getting near the hotel. Walking slowly, a familiar form caught her attention. Standing away from the busy people on the beach, she noticed her sister doing something. It almost looked like she was sick to her stomach? Well, that wasn’t normal to say the least! Her sister always had excellent health, partly thanks to Mi Yeon making sure that her sister and their younger brother would always eat well, so why did she look so sick? Deep down, Mi Yeon knew that for the last couple of weeks her sister’s health had been deteriorating but… this seemed really bad if she was feeling bad in public? Maybe it was the older sister in Mi Yeon, but suddenly her book didn’t seem so interesting. She needed to check on her yeo-dongsaeng as soon as possible.
Tossing her book into her messenger bag, she slung the bag over her back as she walked briskly towards her sister. Ignoring the looks that people gave her, Mi Yeon reached over to brush a strand of hair out of her sister’s eyes. ”Aei-ah, what’s wrong? You don’t look so good…. Did you over heat in the sun?” she asked, reaching to feel if her sister was running a fever. ”You feel a little warm, you should come to the room for a little while. You can come back out after wards, but Umma will have my head if you get sick when I’m around.”
Out of Character: here are her clothes! And sorry it's so short... I wasn't sure what else to do other than her noticing that your character's feeling sick. D:
