To make sure there was no chance of the villains of Gotham reproducing the Arkham Asylum doctors tied everyone’s tubes, but not before they took a little sample from all of them. They kept the samples locked up tight. But a few years later the Government of Gotham decided to play God. The Gotham Government conducted experiments by impregnating everyday women with villainous seed and using Average Joes to fertilize the villainous eggs. The children of these experiments weren’t supposed to know about their other parents, but for some reason or another their average parent broke down and spilled all they knew about where the other half of the child’s chromosomes came from. Of course there were some hints to what villainous parent the child could have. After all, when you’re thirteen and you can grow a prize winning garden with little effort who else could be your mother but Poison Ivy? How about that kid that can easily guess your fears? That kid has to have Scarecrow for a father.
Just because Poison Ivy’s child is good with plants and Scarecrow’s kid can guess fears doesn’t mean they have super powers. Each kid has certain attributes that can be traced back to their Arkham parent, but they don’t have super powers. Let me state this again for those of you that don’t pay attention, the children do not have super powers. Catwoman’s kid wasn’t born in a cat suit and didn’t just start robbing stores as soon as it came from the womb. Clayface’s kid couldn’t morph and stretch since day one. No, no, no. The children merely have certain abilities.
Now you may be wondering where Batman, Batgirl, Robin, and Catwoman fit into all of this, I’ll explain. Batman, Batgirl, and Robin are certainly not villains and they didn’t really have super powers, so why would anyone use their materials to experiment? No one would. In this case it was merely a one night stand type of deal. Bruce Wayne was a playboy, and so he had a few illegitimate kids along the way. Robin and Batgirl? Well in their rebellious days they did their own experimenting and guess what? They happened to have some kiddies. Of course Batgirl knew about her kids, but she met an unfortunate fate and so her kids went to their father, or fathers. Now Catwoman didn’t belong in Arkham, she wasn’t loony and she didn’t really kill people; she was just greedy. Well she found a man, had a kid, and died. The father of the kid kept it in memory of the woman that stole his heart.

Get it?
Stole his heart.
She's a thief.

So, all the other males that helped in producing kids have no idea that they have little spawn out there.
The female villains? They don’t know about their kids either. You see, they took the eggs of the female villains and put them inside the wives of the Average Joes, the kiddies grew in these women and there you go. Insta Kid.
But how do these kids feel now that they are in high school with other kids like them, and kids that aren’t? Do they commit villainous acts and follow in their parent’s footsteps? Or do they go the complete opposite way of their mommies and daddies? Maybe they don’t do anything at all and merely try to blend in with all the other average kids around them. Or perhaps they form a club and wreck havoc on the high school they attend.
Now, we’re running into some issues. The Joker has decided to take revenge on the old Arkham Asylum, now Arkham High. What will happen when the kids see him? Will they fawn over him? Or take him down?

Rules

1_You Want ‘Em, We Got ‘Em_]
As the title says, rules are to be followed at all times. That means always. Go against them, you will get a warning. Go against them continuously, you will regret it. We can change the rules and add more at any time.

2_Literacy_]
This is a Literate role-play. Literate means different things to different people. In some role-plays it means three paragraphs, in others it means five. In our role-play it means four paragraphs at the least, of course we expect more than four, but we do understand writer’s block. So if you’re having a bad day we’d like three paragraphs, we might even settle for two. Then again if you can only produce two, or three paragraphs, please do not ask to join. Now, let's say you type four paragraphs, but each paragraph is only three sentences. Unfortunately that won't do. As we all have been taught in school a paragraph should have five to six sentences. We expect great grammar. We know that everyone isn’t prefect, we all make mistakes, but that’s what spell check is for. Use it.

3_Commitment_]
If you are going to join then post more than once. We'd like to see at least a post a week from everyone. If you post once and there are no more posts from you then you will no longer be in this role-play. We want this role-play to go somewhere, we have big plans for it, but we cannot reach our goals if we have uncommitted role-players. So please only join if you are committed.

4_Follow the Gaian ToS_]
This is pretty self-explanatory. Be good, don't go against Gaia ToS, or you'll be kicked out of the role-play. Some may wonder if we allow cussing; it's fine in moderation. we would prefer you not cuss every sentence.

5_Respect & Romance_]
Be respectful to everyone and keep all fights in-character. If any of the fights are taken to the OoC board, or if any of the fights become personal the fighters will be dealt with how we see fit. Romance is encouraged, even expected. Just keep it PG-15, we don't want to hear about your characters getting freaky; just skip over it.

7_Joining_]
Joining is easy, if you pay attention. Perhaps you have noticed the large space in the first post? Well you may want to highlight that area. Take the third sentence and use that for the title of the PM that has your profiles; send your profiles to both Rajah and Radium. Now, if you want to reserve a spot then simply send a PM to Radium. For the title of that PM use the second line of the spot I told you to highlight. Also, you will be required to send in some roleplay samples, in link form.

8_Original Characters_]
All the characters are going to be original characters; no one will be playing any of the villains or heroes....yet. But I have one request when submitting an OC, be realistic. I understand that this isn't a very realistic role-play, but I don't want some kid getting abandoned and living on his own when he's only five. No five year old can live on its own. Sorry. Also, for pictures we'd like realistic pictures. Okay? No anime.

9_Posting_]xxxxxxxx
We'd like your posts to look pretty. Use pictures, icons, colors. We don't want to see a block of colorless text without any pictures, or decorations. It isn't too hard and if you need help, just scroll down to our links section. Right under the word Formfitting is a link to a forum that explains how to set up your posts and make them look pretty. As for the posting size, use 9-11 as the size. no bigger, no smaller. And we would prefer no super bright colors.
