Xerves would have respected Konatsu more if he got off his lazy a** more often, or if when he did he wouldn't waste his time initiating nothing but schemes that involve annoying the very busy boss. And also he was cocky. Too cocky... Xerves thought every person needed cockiness... If you didn't believe that you could do something or congratulate yourself, who would? After all, people have much better things to do than congratulate you for a job well done, let alone to a point were it'd be enough to be worth true value. People have their own battles to fight, their own enemies to conquer, only being able to give a person so much strengthening. At least Xerves thought so. Anyways, Konatsu overused the stimulant, regardless of if it was truly necessary or not. Annoyingly out loud too, which made it oh so much worse. (Surely for more than just Xerves) Sure Konatsu had proven his worth, but Xerves didn't like hearing anyones voice, let alone one as annoying as his which ALSO dared to plague his ears with it's constant bitching and self titling.
Xerves didn't hate Konatsu... Well... He didn't want to kill him... Well... He's done a good job of being tolerant anyways.... Well... Ventilating without killing him... Yet anyways. If Xerves could read the teen's thoughts on top of being able to hear his voice, surely he couldn't help but attempt to wipe him off of the planet. His power on the front lines was only worth so much. Xerves sensible mind would never let him throw away such an asset though, regardless of what he tried to think. Konatsu should have been grateful for it's existence. Everyone in the world should be.
Xerves glanced over to Konatsu when he rose, and silently grunted, like a disappointed bull that didn't fully maimed it's victim. He had hardly put too much effort into the ordeal, but of course the beast would always expect satisfying outcomes. Konatsu wasn't exactlly A-okay, but he hadn't learned either. The latter was always at the end of every beating conclusion. The fact that the teen rose now meant that he'd have to remember to make his next beating worse to make up for this one. Satisfied with his own promise, Xerves looked away, his blank half lidded stare focusing else were. His recently downed target moved again which brought Xerves to glance over yet again. His eyes slid from the annoyance to the weaponry it had tried to place near itself. To Xerves, he saw it somewhat as a challenge to him, as that fact made him want to jump on the gazelle he'd just pounced seconds ago. One, knives wouldn't really help much, at least Xerves' ego thought so, and two, that meant he was fearful, and he twistedly, Xerves liked fear. He didn't understand how someone couldn't... That was a subject for a whole different day though, as Xerves soon looked away from the knives again to no one in particular, for the sake of suppressing his other self. Which had already shown itself once today...
After Konatsu announcing his sparing of their lives, Xerves threw away the dish towel that had kept his hands busy and away from Konatsu's neck back into the sink. Clenching his hands in fists, they emitted a rather disgusting cracks, before they were released shortly afterwards. Instead of verbally speaking, he let that go as Konatsu's shut up. It'd just be a waste of his breath if he spoke softly {as he wasn't enraged enough to yell}, and he wanted Konatsu to get that he wasn't afraid of some silly knives. Not that everyone in the house couldn't already guess that. The responsible Rinslet caught his attention for a short while as she gave the maid her contact number. As if they were babies or something! Xerves only looked away from her too and sighed again. He held back a grin though as she said she'd be there in an hour if the maid called, plenty of time for Konatsu to be a pile of ash, in a body bag, or anything else before she could be back... And wait a minute, what the hell would she do anyways?!? Xerves clenched his teeth with a sort of snarl as he realized that she thought she was some kind of moderator. Which she was... But Xerves just didn't want that to be known! He thought it was one of those things better left unsaid, you know? Disgruntled even more, Xerves simply stuffed his hands into his pockets and walked off to his room to prepare, not caring if those surrounding him had infered that he was in fact still going. He was never that much of a morning person and Rinslet was already handling the troublesome minor business that came with Xerves and Konatsu bouts. She always seemed to take some of the burden off his shoulders. And because of this, she could slide with the faint disrespect. Well, everyone could. He wasn't that much of a butt. Well to everyone except Konatsu of course.
₪₪₪
Opening his door that he'd closed to operate behind, it was swung open and a random Xerves perked out of his room, his face in it's usual composure of annoyed. Lazily, he shouted. "And why isn't the dumb a** going to school!!" Surely they didn't think he was beyond forging some documents to get the pain out of his a** for a few hours of the day. Once that came into his mind, he was insulted they obviously didn't think he could do such a thing!
Looking left and right, realizing that the annoyance in question had probably already left and not caring for much else, he slammed the door shut, not caring for any response than that of the sensible pinkett. Though a response from the hopefully gone Konatsu may have brought him to retort as well... At least he had some breakfast conversation to spark...

Xerves already knew Konatsu and school couldn't possibly mix well. Even if his government warrant didn't exist, he knew the laziest of the family would hardly excel, let alone go. Well Xerves would have done his best to enforce that, but he now realized a few minutes for Konatsu to be out of his hair wasn't worth the work, him just being caught up in a hopeful moment of excitement. And knowing the nimrod, appearance altering would just be another hassle. He had even smiled for a second when Rinslet had offered the possibility too. But the pinkett's logic smashed that quickly too. Mhm, Rinslet's voice of reason had cracked another of ichy-annoying reason into his skull. It'd be scratched away by his superior ignorance in a few moments... For now he just needed to eat and go do... Other stuff.
Quickly slipping off his current clothes and replacing those with more urban wear, he emerged from his room wearing a simply a white t, a snug vest for warmth, black long jeans. As a person who held a certain amount of class he kept on his dress shoes instead of replacing them with tennis shoes. Both were comfortable, and he preferred to be seen in the current shoes than the rubber boats that were his tennis shoes. Having brushed his teeth decently, he could last in his current state without being too self conscious.
Xerves cast his glance around to everyone else, Faris and Sachi, who he had not seen earlier. He never was really the kind to hand out cheery good mornings, and certainty not much of a morning person, though his career called for him to be such on occasion. He sighed off the commands he received from the mother of the family, him passive to such things. If it was up to Xerves everyone would simply be on their own as far as the subject went. Really, family would only be assembling things for more important things if Rinslet wasn't amongst the ranks. Meaning Konatsu would either be dead by now or the cannibal he had threatened to become. Xerves moved along silently attempting to cancel out all other morning annoyances that had yet to cross his path. As he exited the house his tight lip method continued if he could help it, his bodyguard past helping the task last. In this half lidded state, even Konatsu could be tolerated... Nevermind, let's not exaggerate his abilities...
Only snorting when they reached the closed restaurant, he stopped at the establishment to calm himself, his lids shutting tightly and his mouth gritting for a second. His mind didn't like the idea that the most hated had decided anything. A little too late to be irate at that but, none the less, he was... Or at least he was trying not to be. The voice of the "most hated" at that moment may have broken such therapy... And he didn't need to be paying for the repairs of some shaggy restaurant just because his "awsomeness" had decided to have a smart mouth. The fact that they were somewhat in public could have subsided such a thing if they were in a place of higher importance... Very few places or situations held such a force that he wouldn't strangle the self proclaimed god. It probably wasn't under him to fight Konatsu before a true enemy quite frankly... As he reached the new, fancier, breakfast joint, a tired Xerves tried to sleep with his eyes faintly open in peace when he arrived to a Rinslet that he guessed was waiting. As he had been a straggler, a sort of rarity, {though not so much with these types of family gatherings though} He may have been the last to drag his feet to the new location. He hadn't kept track of the other family members, mostly because of his current amount of drowsiness. If he was the last, he'd eventually move from his spot after a few minutes of snooze.

A yawn escaped a mess of bed sheets and pillows. The familiar bottle of this and that clanged as this awaked lump moved under the surface of filth that littered his futon. A yawn escaped the creature that rustled underneath it's lairs mess. A fist came up to rub the eyes of the scanty clad monster that rose up. A blue eye cracked to a paining sun as the awoken shiginami yawned again, this time accompanying this louder roar with a noisy stretch, as glass and porcelain bottles clanged loudly as he began to fully stir. The one eye that decided to brave the pain of the morning sun scanned the dark room, finding the familiar figures of various death gods. Yet another great night for all in connection to Ryuudou Shiori... That being a few choice members of the 8th squad and others of the Gotei Thirteen that probably weren't the most whatever their positions were. Though some, like him, just had nothing to do on a late night.
Ryuu the ringleader of the dead partiers stood from his bed of empty bottles and various traces of spittle to clap his hands twice loudly. The bodies littering the floors alongside their trash twitched, a few showing the signs of hangovers as hands went to heads and various groans escaped mouths that were hardly full of rest. Though they seemed to all know the drill as each began to try and get on two feet in their own ways, some staggering to the support of object or others, while some failed at such attempts and ended up right where they slept. The zombies eventually started to straighten themselves up as they started to use more teamwork to exit the rather small compound, the able bodied lending hands and the slumped over others dragged themselves to most likely a place to hide from the sun and continue the restoration of their alcohol poisoned brains and stomachs. Ryuu began his walk down a line of the non responsive, a socked foot poking and nudging each as dragged his feet around. It seemed that this was just a simple convenient motion he decided to do while he reached the low table that he propped an elbow on as he plopped down to its level, then going on to watch his fellow partiers exit his nighttime land of bliss.
Scanning half assed and lazily across the table he placed himself in front of, he failed to find his specialty cigarettes. Crafted by the 12th squad, they were somewhat special he guessed... Or at least to him. For he certainly couldn't go for all too long without one. He had shown the human poison to the Technology Bureau when he had first arrived there... Fairly interested, on a side project they kind of tweaked the creation. Well the taste at least... He had gotten wind of the tobacco sticks causing something called cancer and since then he'd been trying to back off of them. Though he heard of a shiginami ever getting such a sickness... Well in honesty he hardly put in the time to research such a crucial thing... And in fear of the Tech. Bureau doing something to the fantastic smokes, he hardly told them anything about it, though they might of learned about the curse during their creation... Ryuudou hardly cared to research that matter either, for if he was getting them, it was all good .
His uniform hung from his back as his arms were removed from the sleeves, a style he often wore his Shihakusho when he felt like getting comfortable, or at least in private... Most of the time when he's in the right of mind anyways. Last night, he doubted his mind was doing much of anything right. He closed his eyes at his throne of sorts as all of the room pollutants finally seemed to have cleaned out. Two fingers came to the side of his temple and began to rub away the familiar headache that usually came from such an awakening.
After a moment of much needed silence and massaging, the lieutenant rose. Sliding his outfit on fully and lazily, he stood and scratched his head. Besides missing smokes, he felt like something else was amiss. The captains were having a meeting today, this he came to remember... Though that was probably over by now... It was obvious he hadn't slept according to any kind of schedule and had probably woken up late in the day... Though he hardly had remembered when the meeting was... Not that he was needed at any meeting unless otherwise was stated, but maybe his captain would have news for him? But then if that was the case a messenger would have come... He toppled back to the ground with the realization... He had nowhere to go and a satisfied smile crept across his face. He would enjoy slumber until he was needed. Or his hunger for anything in particular woke him... Hopefully he didn't snore too loud this time around. Because he certainly didn't want to be bothered because he was a disturbance... When tired enough, such had become a problem...

Underneath the shadow cast by worn hood, yellow eyes half lidded looked towards the bricks the body's feet walked upon. Stares of the various classes of the deglorified world looked to the daily passer by. Eyes either filled with fear or hate cut upon the uniform he wore, few in the crowds did not befall on him if they where of age to be decently knowledgeable. But he paid the eyes of raggedy peddlers, thieves, and peasants no mind. The walking nobody stood out greatly in the cloud thanks to his odd, black, dirt lacking hooded robe. The blue bangs that stuck out from under the hood also may have caused eyes to have been lured to him if not the simple appearance of his clothing. Most of the time, when the eyes where seen by most they were either in a form of anger or calmness. But now, as they did everyday, the eyes of a killer seemed harmless, wrapped in sorrow, his mind on other things besides goals of the organization that backed him. His back slightly hunched as he walked through the marketplace, gloved hands in pocket, adding to the wreaked look. The citizens had learned not to follow the appearance though, as they knew of many variations it held. Huffs of icey mists escaped from the shadowed face randomly from time to time as the body trudged on to it's private destination.
Axis's mind was plagued with the images of memories past once again. The one time tear ducts saw their one time of use had been the scene repeated over and over in his mind's theater, the body tired of the daily hell. He was tired of seeing the freezing of a heart. His heart. Each time the story restarted, he sighed, letting loose the visible, frosty air known to freeze or fatigue many. As it wiped past his face as he moved into it, the artificial air seemed like nothing more than comforting cool air. As it should, as it lacked the proper amplification. The nobody seemed saddened and tired of his mind's work. The eyes on his back where neglected still as he moved onto what seemed to be the ruins of the past of the town. He himself being part of the destructive force, now in two ways, recalled many memories of happiness and of deep sorrow. Of all powers active during the day, he seemed to be the only one feeling regret of the incident. Or feeling anything at all. But he knew such things where only creations of his mind anyways. He was also troubled by the face some aged eyes in the crowd still failed to recognized him as apart of the force that he had moved into, the same force that had brought chaos onto his own home... The ninth of the thirteen obviously still held a merciful, loving side, but that had seemed to frosted over with his first "freed" doing.
His boots kicked, and jumped inhumanly over at sometimes, debris that littered the once better shaped land. As he got farther and farther up the trail of destruction, the pieces strewn across the ground seemed to get bigger, going from simple pieces of buildings to whole knocked down ones and structures crumbled. Various craters and scorch marks became visible here too and the grass more dead or non existent as it was either covered up by trash or an unhealthy brown. No one dared followed the being that soon became a dot to their eye. Nearly all of them had heard of some form of what had either happened to those who had followed or talked to the mysterious man. Some remembered the favors and good he had done before his changed face came back from the unknown, simply respecting privacy rather than power. The battle scared land was looked past as if they where the worn citizens ignored earlier, golden eyes failing to look from their locked position on the changing ground as his legs seemed to work out of instinct or quick reaction to evade oncoming obstacles, as if he was simply skipping over messes in a kitchen. His view was not fully obstructed by his gloomy stance, but it could or might as well have been since the path had been burnt into his mind if not from his physical use and sight of it, but because of the knowledge of the days that brought fall to the former lands health were etched and re-etched into his mind, who at the moment seemed to have nothing better to think about. Of course imagery of it's better days could have been recalled, but were blocked now by the worn out ones still seeking a crippling torture of the nobody.
His eyes where soon lifted off of the ground and to a portal of swirling darkness in front of him. Not fearing his own creation, he stepped inside. Through the dark tunnel of darkness he entered he felt it's cool embrace. Soon on the end of the path of black was a whole of his destination's scenery. Once again he felt the warmth of light and the crushing of stone under his foot. Instead of being ground level though, the hooded nobody stood ever the battlefield, looking down the sort of landmark he'd created. From the top of a wrecked, now lopsided tower, the Tacit Crusader looked down to his other half of sorts. He straightened up his figure, but kept his hands in pocket and face concealed loosing depression and replacing the nonexistent emotion with an act of silent anger. His eyebrows creased to turn eyes of sadness into those of fury or hatred. The sudden demeanor shift was also daily, was nothing out of the norm. All he would do now was look upon the floating, diamond shaped crystal surrounded by it's nova of icey tundra spikes and wreaked constructions until he was called upon or his memories subsided. The face of the beauty trapped inside the chain locked structure still haunted his mind without the sight of her face. The icey chains that wrapped around the floating crystal and tied it to the ground thankfully hid the actual thing from his sight, only portions of the body could even possibly be seen if looked closely upon. Axis sighed again, releasing more of his inner colds mist. He always hated his oddest and longest lasting piece of art.

Axis never really had thought the whole plan through... Sure he had theories of the immediate repercussions for his actions, those good and bad. But once she was safe from darkness {theoretically} what would he do? Well, he really hadn't had much time to think about that in the dark abyss that swallowed him immediately after their "separation"... Yes, Axis too had to pay a bigger price than that of taunting memories, dreams, and visits... Before that, Axis could only pray such lenient punishments could be cast on him after being thrown into what he was sure were the very depths of hell... There all he could selfishly think about was his own survival at the time... It wasn't until insanity grew and enveloped his every movement that he could combat the nightmares of darkness and even take time to think about his frozen heart. Then eventually though, it became an obsession... Once he embraced the darkness, Axis was indeed a pitiful sight to see... Though he had been blessed with a savior who healed him mentally and physically to points no other surely could have reached, the scars of that place were etched in every way, in and out of his nonexistent body.
He'd never thought about what he was. He just appeared one day. That's what he remembered at least. Yea, it was nice, back when he thought he was something, ignorant and stupid... His mouth creased to a heavy frown as what should have been happy memories started leaking from the cracks that lined the constantly failing wall built around the small clips of past time. His mind always jumped from thing to thing in front of her, kind of like his mouth had when he had nervously met the trapped girl... He quickly grew out of that childish phase though, as he skipped onto much of what his persona was like today. Well at least calm. Except those sweet moments of... Whatever... Axis turned his face away from the monument. And now as always, he wondered why he tortured himself like this... And as always, some voice of his would answer back that he "owed it to her". He couldn't even figure out what his body was doing, or let alone what it's intentions were. He figured he was acting like he did in the abyss... His body moving while his mind watched behind their golden cameras, strapped into an electric chair that just didn't have enough volts to end release it from whoever was sending all these jolts...
The lever was pulled up though, and a deep breath was taken by the blue haired prisoner. Certainly not looking as if he sitting through anything painful. He was jerked away from the 'Kingdom Hearts' he and... Her... Had created. Hm. It was odd. He had been realesed from dreams early today. It couldn't have been more than a few hours, if that. He wasn't going to complain. He'd heard Karma was one to strike quick when one did with blessings such a this one. As he turned his back on the structure to make his exit, it felt as if her burden had been lifted from his shoulders... He cast a hooded eye back to the structure. Had she finally died inside his ice coffin..? Had his mind finally escaped torture? Well if so why wasn't he feeling anything? Oh... Had he finally become a true nobody? Well, now not existing would be easier at least now... Good ridance... He began to take his first step towards freedom, him looking away for the last time with a placid face of neither celebration or grievance.
His boot hit the dirt... Suddenly his breath became choked, a heavy, invisible clogged his throat, as if he was about to cry. Silent puffs of icy coughs of air came from his mouth and twitching lips as he was choked by an invisable assailant. His eyes grew wide with panic, him fighting for air. His neck was stiffened and his head shook as he turned back to his heart... But she wasn't there. Nothing was. Except blackness... A portal of swirling darkness... In utter fear Axis stood, his whole body frozen by some invisible being. And then from the shadow not more than a foot away from his face, a giant palm of darkness's hand was rushing to his face. But instead he was blinded as it should have slammed into his face. Instead his eyes were blinded. Seeing darkness. He had been swallowed... He was sure.
White. A blinding white was what he saw when the force's hand was lifted from his eyes. He was still stiff. Him frozen from fear opened his eyes to a a blooming flower... His flower... His ice. He grabbed the pieces of his shattered composure that he could peice together. Standing and trembling as straight as he could as he looked over what he assumed was a corpse. Then it spoke... As the word of his name his ear reacted... It felt like it was popped and it would bleed. He didn't know if such was a reaction of pain or ecstasy... Well now he was deaf instead of blind...
His steps were of his usual stride as he went to go stand over the body... His feet tripped minimally here and there, but he stayed up rather well. His prideful personality wouldn't let him blunder much more than he had it seemed. A questioning face of angry innocence looked down into the eyes of the awoken. His brow arched, making him look more like one that had discovered a pesky inconvenience then of what the trouble the girl surely should have brought to his face. More like he'd found a dead rat in his kitchen than an atomic bomb mushroom cloud rushing to his doorstep one fine morning... Yea, he was acting like one who truly had no emotions now. Maybe the sound had been her final words before she past on to the afterlife. But then... It spoke again. And it's eyes blinked... Now his face twisted back into a solid frown under his dark hood.
"Harper..?" The answer of sorts came out more so as a question... And rightfully so... Well now he didn't know what to do... Execution..? Was he that cold..? After a few seconds standing over the body and looking into the blue eyes that haunted his mind, he relized the answer was no... But then what..? "H-h-h..." He sighed deeply and shut his eyes for a second, calming himself to speak as he had been taught by the one underneath him... "Why are you... Here..?" He hated going back to her tactics... Sure they had helped him get over his "problem" but now was not the time to be gawking over her. With this relization, his next question came with more bass in it, his voice deep and uncaring now. "Harper. What are you doing here..." He almost let the words "Your supposed to be dead" slip out too, but he held his tounge. That would either come of too buddy-ish or too menacing. His two split sides of past and present couldn't seem to have agreed on either or, and so it was tossed. Now, his past self kept this new Axis's hand from conjuring some form of guillotine or deadly weapon to rid them both of the problem. It seemed he did, sadly, have the guts to kill her. Or at least half of them...

He didn't jerk his head back from her like he wanted to when her hands reached up to him. He remained stone faced when she pulled back his hood... But when her lips started coming towards his face? Well, he shattered. Or at least cracked... The edges of his mouth twitched, almost giving in to smiling as her warm lips met his cold cheek. But his new side refused to show any happiness from the exchange and his older self refused to let himself reject the kiss in anyway. A heavy blush came to his face, as his eyes looked to the side at nothing to avert from the girl. He always hated being kissed... Well not hate in the literal term, but he just didn't like the blushing he couldn't seem to stop from coming most of the time. It'd just been so long that red couldn't help but spread across his face... His eyes cut back down to her when she spoke his name in a disappointed tone. He couldn't tell immediately that she was acting. But when she called him a grump he could tell she was being playful. He was rather impressed at her ability to be moving around so much after being trapped in ice for... So long.
In response to being called a grump, he grunted and snorted heavily like a bull, cold air bursting from his nostrils as if he was a cartoon, him looking away again to add to his immature response... He turned his head back to her as she responded to his question. His face wasn't so much displeased now, as it was actually leaning towards worried. And a little cautious. But that was somewhat wiped away when she tried to scold him. He turned his head away from her with a small Tsk sound as his response. Yea, just like it was the good old days... His mind quickly through away the small traces of his past self that had crossed their border, as his almost smiling face was crumpled back into an emotionless frown. She was trying to crack him... Both sides knew she'd get through his defense eventually, but one would at least put up a good fight. It really didn't even make sense for him to be mad. He had only froze her because of what she was... She was going to get hurt. He couldn't let that happen... She wa-
Axis was pulled back to the current conversation as she spoke again. His eyes met hers and he could see that she was serious now. Her more aggressive tone registered with him and earned her some slight respect for some reason... He sighed a breath of ice. "Your not even supposed to be here..." He whispered very lowly under his breath, obviously not wanting her to hear the remark, and making it nearly impossible for her to do such. He opened his mouth to answer but then closed it, rethinking his words. He did so again, and then to no avail. The next time he did he at least got out an "Har-" but then he decided he didn't want to say her name for some reason, probably because of the kiss... So then finally he turned away from her, his words able to come easier without his eyes on her.
"This is o-... Your home." He turned the back of his head so he could see her with the corner of his eye. "You were gone. For a while..." He didn't know if the disappointment in his voice was for her being gone and returning or that he had sealed her away. In a way he was sad at both and split between the two false feelings... He wanted to get off of the topic. He started to walk forward, after a few steps a portal of darkness appeared a foot or so away from him. He stood infront of it's entrance. She couldn't be alone... Even if she could, neither side would let her out of his sight. Who knew how the world would react to her any minute now. But not only could the world try and wipe out the revived ray of light, but also she needed food... She needed clothes... She needed a lot. He was probably going to get in trouble of if he was discovered with her. Sure it would be a while before he was looked for, but he didn't trust his comrades to hold any secrets. And the Nombre Uno would surely find out who or what she was. And Axis didn't want her having any part of them... Thus why she was frozen... But it seemed that tactic only worked for so long.
He wouldn't leave her to travel through the portal alone. Not so much because that would be rude, but because he really didn't know what would happen to her if she made the walk alone. Even with him she could be in danger... He hoped she wasn't terrified of him after summoning such an eerie thing. This was certainly something new for him, no?

The path I walk I walk it with my own resolve

He was a little taken back as she interrupted him, saying that this wasn't her home. His head had jerked back ever so slightly to show such. Fine, if she wasn't going to listen, she wasn't going to listen. After his portal was summoned and he waited for the girl to reach him, he blankly stared at her as she made her struggling way over to him. It seemed better if he didn't help her immediately, because for one that would make her weak, and two, his friendlyier side was still just fighting to embrace the girl. Contact wasn't the best idea, as he still didn't want to open up to her yet. After all he didn't know what her true fate was. All he knew that it couldn't possibly be one safe. It was like she was a puppy he was letting follow him home that he knew he just couldn't keep. Not without fighting off a few pochars. He'd already tried to cage the damn thing, and that didn't work, so now getting to close to what seemed to disobey dangerously just seemed stupid. He looked back to the portal and sighed, waiting for her to clinch onto him. He didn't like how he was thinking... But both sides of him knew he was only pondering over the truth.
His eyes glared into hers as they started to tear. He didn't appreciate the reaction. He looked away from her again, as if angrily ashamed, ashamed of both himself and her. It hurt him a little to be receiving the bringer of tears quite honestly... Once he felt her secure herself around his arm, he began walking into what had been his home for far too long. He didn't even look over to make sure it in fact was the one fresh from his frozen catalyst... She was blind here, but he could have saw her if he had looked over and down. He tilting his head to the side towards the end of the tunnel, him feeling a small something, kind of like a small, sharp pain. And it wasn't just her nails digging into him. He ignored it as they reached their destination.
He stood still for a while as he let her get out more tears. Also, he was slightly enjoying her warmth... It'd been ages before she felt hers, so he couldn't help but enjoy this embrace as well. He of course again did not let such show on his face. After a few seconds of calming silence, at least from his side, he spoke over her sniffles and gasps of air. He knew the darkness trip wasn't a good experience first hand, let alone one at any time. It was rare when he had to baby her in such ways. Well maybe not that rare... It just depended on ones definition of when was was acting babyish or when one needed, well, babying. He remembered how he kind of enjoyed when he could do such, after all most of the time she seemed to be so happy and indepent to most extents, at least in his eyes... It wasn't that he took enjoyment in her downtimes, though he {used to} mutually think everything she did was cute. But instead it was the fact that he enjoyed lifting her up. There definitely wouldn't be a lot of lifting up though... He had to hurry and break this enjoyment before it went to far.
"Harper." His voice was once again in it's serious form. "That was your home..." He tucked his hands into pockets hardly visible because of the cloaks darkness... "Nothing is going on Harper. Just the flow of things..." He said with an apathetic shrug. he opened his mouth but held his tounge as he shut it, as he wisely had either, keeping himself from saying anything stupid. He sighed a gust of cold. "I don't know what your doing here. What to do either. All I know for sure is that your important... To someone. So..." he turned to wherever she was, showing her his serious face, looking her dead into her eyes, teary or otherwise. "Your not going anywhere... At least not far." He didn't literally mean it to the full extent, like she was some prisoner or hostage. He simply saw it wise and most likely necessary to put some, well more, fear into her heart so that she would do as told.
"Now... You can either rest here. Or. We can go and get you some... Whatever you need." He kept his gaze locked to her eyes, trying to establish hold his ground of superiority in the case. He didn't know how much time they had together after all... Well before things got... More challenging.

When she called his name, all he did was arch a brow in cool questioning. When she said she was scared, Axis knew that she wasn't thinking of doing anything too rebellious. And if she was, well then her idea of lowering his defenses had worked. His eyes shifted away from her when she stated that she didn't knew who to trust. he statement made him uncomfortable for some reason. He hadn't been untruthful... But he averting from telling the truth brought this guiltiness. He had always received a sort of aura from Harper, telling him that she would never do anything to harm him... Well not intentionally. He shifted his gaze and face back to her after the realization, a sliver of a slightly softer face was shown to her, if it was even possible for him to do or for her to see.
"Harper, I'm not going to let anything harm you. Now-"
A small, black hole opened next to him. This one hardly was made for human transportation, as his had. And soon that was made more obvious as the Soldier heartless landed from it's short lived vortex, which closed once it's body arrived in the haven. Before it could even oddly and clumsily harm anyone in the nearly empty room, a small, thick icicle pierced through it's helmet. No splatter of blood or flesh came though, as the creature seemed to immediately dissipate into nothing as it's damage intake reached it's max. A glowing pink heart floated from where it had once awkwardly stood. A human sized portal formed behind whereever the possibly panicked Harper, a creation of Axis's abilities this time. The girl's wrist was softly grabbed {or at least not roughly?} as he pulled her from the room. As they walked through the darkness, for some reason he covered her eyes. Not to hide anything, since there was actually nothing to hide but darkness, he instead meant the gesture as a sort of protection. He knew the pain of being in the abyss was not easily adapted to, but maybe his own, sort of artificial darkness could comfort the girl. Would shutting her eyes have had the same effect? Maybe. But still... Gah, he knew was loosing the battle to maintain his coldness... It was inevitable that it was going to be gone all together the more they where together. He didn't know if that was good or bad yet...
It was odd. Heartless definitely weren't rare here, or anywhere for that matter.... But why would one, and one so small come to his location like that? And at such an ironic time... Axis was sure he emitted some kind of power to the creatures of darkness, as he did with those of nothing. And then also, he didn't have a heart, so he wasn't one for a 'free' heartless to be chasing... And then there was his new found treasure of sorts. He couldn't help but think curious ears were now sending him some kind of signal. To him so far, he read it as a challenge.
He had walked quickly and gathered his thoughts fast as well, not only for much needed urgency, but also to get the one not used to the travel out of the muck.
The pair arrived in a more crowded area for the sake of safety. In an alleyway they stood now, it's residents moving away cautiously with hands raised to the cloaked one as they removed their scantily clad appearances from their vicinity, leaving the alley empty. He sighed a breath of ice as he grabbed her wrist moving her into the crowd. "Alright, stay close..." he ordered. He highly doubted she much wanted to rebelliously sprint away now, but he felt it still had to be stated.

Caliber
[the Rookie Trainer]
[the Rookie Trainer]
___Location::
____Route 37

Lazy eyes scanned the road of Route 37, only catching glances of rock, dirt, and grass as their owner dragged his feet along. Faint black sacks under the young trainers eyes showed his lack of sleep. How could he... He'd let one of his close companions get snatched away, just three days ago... And the nightmare still played on repeat in his mind, no rest yet coming to interrupt the cycle. Even the small ball of warmth that was perched on his neck seemed fatigued with depresion, the Cyndaquil's small mouth even seeming to be curled in a frown, surely picking up the gloomy radiation from it's trainers mood.
Caliber had been asking questions around town of course, for two days straight, and nothing. The Rocket invasion did not only devastate him but others, so the whole town was amiss, not just the single trainer. Today, his third day without his first ever companion, he had talked to the savior of the town, Morty, the town gym leader. Talking to him, he learned nothing truly relevant about were his beloved friend could have been carried off to... But instead of aimlessly sulking around town, he should branch out and sulk off to elsewhere and search for any Rocket activity, more nicely put though... Caliber cut up the man's calming talk into a harsher reality for himself, as that what made the nearly idiotic idea stick. First he had to get stronger. And he had a looong way to go to be considered anything close to experienced, the gym leader put extra emphasis on getting that point across. He knew the basics and that was all. But it seemed that was all he needed, according to the ghost gym leader, who seemed to know much more than just how to care and treat Pokemon in Caliber's opinion... He put his hand up to rest on the warm, small head of the Cyndaquil, scratching it lightly so he could comfort the gentle flame mouse. Somehow he was supposed to turn this into some battling beast? Hah...
The little Pokemon probably was thinking about the same thing reversely. Thinking how could it be raised by only a weak beginner who couldn't even keep his first Pokemon... Though it was likely 99 percent true that the creature was thinking no such thing, Caliber couldn't help think that it was. He'd have to get rid of his doubt,of him and his Pokemon, he knew that. He had to believe both of them could become the best. Not even that. They both had to become the best, not just stand and hope for it.
Soon their first battle could come. Caliber didn't like thinking of the inevitable. He shifted his backpack out of nervousness as he cast his eyes up to the sky. He had no idea what Cyndaquil could do... Battle wise... He knew so far though that it was very sensitive and soft to the touch. None of that really would help in a battle know would it. Gently, he picked up the cuddly pocket monster, his hands going under it's armpits to hoist it up in the air as Caliber inspected, his arms outstretched.
It had slits for eyes... Or at least it's eyelids didn't lift high at all, and Caliber could feel it's gaze on him as it looked down to him from it's new found height. It was cute, he had to admit... It looked startled from his sudden movement, but it's face adjusted quickly to just innocent curiosity. Caliber took that as a sign of acceptance. Because in all honesty he had been afraid of another spurt of flames erupting from it's back in startling fear. He smiled as he basked in it's presence for a while. He seemed to be basking too much though and that would cost him...
Suddenly the creature, sensing danger it seemed, leaped from the tranced trainers hands to his hooded and hatted head. Caliber trying to glance up to the obviously nibble creature instead of to the road he should have been watching all along, he hit a tree. His face bouncing off it's very solid surface, he gripped his nose as his eyes drooped, his brightening mood back to a mellow one again as he tried not to think of the pain his clumsiness had just brought him. Not going fast enough to break anything, he simply mumbled to himself as he massaged the bridge of his nose turning around to get back on the road. He was so glad no one had been around to see that...
He took that back after he turned around. He could see a female trainer off in the distance, possibly close enough to have seen the whole ordeal. Caliber wasn't one for being a lady chaser, but the fact that a girl could have saw his foolishness made the whole matter worse. The Cyndaquil atop of his head seemed to blink blankly as it stood on it's hind legs, seeming to be oblivious to it's surroundings as well.

Caliber
[the Rookie Trainer]
[the Rookie Trainer]
___Location::
____Route 37

Caliber went around in circles for a second, trying to regain his sense of direction, no longer knowing which way was away from home. Remembering the girl was coming towards him he realized that he would have to go past her to get back on his trail. Oh jeez... He scratched the back of his head as the girl grew closer, him still acting as if he didn't know where to go one more time, turning back to face his home before finally taking a deep breath dragging his feet forward in paces of nervousness towards the right direct.
As he got closer, he noticed the other trainers Charmander try to bring attention to him. Caliber stopped when he saw this, resisting the urge to start to back up. Though he didn't think that the creature was a threat to him personally, the thought of a battle popped into his head. And he did not want that... From what he could see, the orange lizard looked like it had alot more pep in it's step than the Cyndiquil, which was now aimlessly staring down to the other pokemon and trainer from the top of Caliber's head.
After staring down at the Charmander for a second, his eyebrows raised in a sort of alarm as if he had just woken up a great beast with steps too loud. The people that were attracted to his town always seemed to be weird... Investigators of that burned down tower varied from crazy to just flat out otherworldly. They stuck out the most to him, making him almost think they were the majority of the town, which they definitely weren't. Caliber didn't know if the whole Bell Tower legend was true, but damn did it draw in tourist and surely more than enough investigators to determine if the legend was true or false. Back on subject, this girl was kind of normal looking... And that was kind of refreshing to him. Then for a second he began to wonder if he could be categorized as normal himself...
Finally the girl broke the awkward silence between them with a friendly hello in the distance. Caliber returned the greeting with his own, with a simple "Hey." that was just loud enough to reach her ears. After a short while she introduced herself when they were closer. Caliber returned that gesture too. "Caliber... Nice to meet you."
Caliber wasn't much of a talker, but he had become one most recently because of his current predicament. But before he could get out any more words himself he heard the approach of a small stampede. Or at least that's what it almost sounded like... But in actuality when he turned around he met two almost out of breath campers. Both in a uniform of green, their ensembles including a beret of sorts, rather short shorts, and vests. The boy and girl scout stood with their legs spread, their hands both pointing in unison to the pair standing at the opposite end of the road. Caliber took half of a step back, his face once again looking frozen in fear he had done something wrong.
"We challenge you two to a battle!" Caliber found it kind of creepy to how they both spoke at the same time. How they dressed had already thrown him off enough... He looked over to he guessed was supposed to be his partner in this picnicker ambush with a look of confusion still shown strongly on his face. "Erm..."
Looking back just in time sensing movement from the other pair, Caliber saw each of the aggressive trainers throw pokeballs in sync into the air. Caliber gulped quietly in nervousness to himself as he watched. As they threw the balls, they shouted in unison once again.
"Hey there's no denying a trainer battle!"

Kinaitto Sybura
[the King]
[the King]

His lips twitched, a result of them trying to neither gape in awe or smile in happiness... Or explode into too many apologies. It was a sure thing that he wasn't looking too normal to his beloved Yuki. His eyes nervously darted between the parts that made the female body just such an oh so wonderful thing, as they curiously explored places the fall had exposed or brought attention to. Unlike some people, he could relatively control himself in the presence of exposed women, the back of his head mocked to his most hated enemy... That though would be sadly all thanks to the internet, if he was to be claiming he was even remotely controlled. In all actuality the length of exposure may have been the only reason he could keep his excitement to an average teenage boy level and not escalate to something that may just scare away his pink haired crush. His face of awkwardness nearly vanished completely when he looked into teary eyes. Replaced with an almost stern and cool face of worry, he extended a hand to the girl... Which was rather sweaty. That much he hoped she didn't notice as he tried to keep up his heroic facade.
He kind of stared at her blankly once she was up, not even drooling over her this time around. Instead in his mind he was creating a list of things that could be bothering the bubbly pinkett in front of him, as he looked straight over her head and into the distance. And the one thing that couldn't help but echo in his head was Xerves, Xerves, Xerves. He clenched his teeth tightly at the thought... How could such a delinquent be blessed with the love of Yuki and then be so careless with it. At the sound of the girl's voice all of his cool demeanor was lost and replaced with a bumbling idiot as she brought him back to the world around him. His body tried to arch in the most perfect bow it could as he lowered responded to the girl infront of him, like a dog happy to see it's most adored master. "G-good morning Yuki!" He stoof straight up like a soldier afterward, a huge grin on his face. He wanted to erase it, but his body just wouldn't allow it.
His heart skipped a beat when he heard she had heard about him. That made his day. Maybe even a little bit of his life. A nevous hand went back to scratch his head, another poliely waved to show he didn't need her help as his widely grinning mouth managed to speak.
"Oh yes, yes I am! Thank you for asking!" For some reason he was laughing awkwardly after he spoke. The excitement in his body just seeming to just have to leak out some way. He responded to her half spoken question and disappointed sounding statement in the same manner awkwardly still. "Oh no, Yuki-san, I'm just fine! No need to worry yourself over me!" Luckily he had enough self control to keep from adding anything like "my darling" or "now that your here" to the end of those two too loudly spoken sentences. He unknowingly stood flabbergasted for a little while, brain dead until his love let her angelic voice ring out again.
Responding to her order of sorts with an overly peppy and simple "Okay!", he seemed to hop to it when she said to come on, much again like a dog to his beloved master as she patted her wonderful thigh and just seemed to smile ear to ear, now hiding teeth at least, as he strut behind his leader in a sort of victory. For today he had truly won in this world of karma and bad luck. In this world of demon incubuses named Xerves, he today was officially walking with Yuki Yamagi. It was impossible for him to die a sad man now it seemed... It was funny how the occurrences of such a night as the last could just fade away with just a hint of the grace that was Yuki. It was a damn shame he was blinded from her sorrow and too drunk off her presence now... That could have earned him some major points no doubt...

Kinaitto Sybura
[the King]
[the King]

Of course he was happy. Overly so maybe... No, no that was impossible. If anything he needed to be even more thankful to be in her vicinity, let alone live on the same planet. After all he was in the presence of an angel! Unknowingly he started to sway his head side to side with his happy gait. Nothing could really slow him now. Not even Xerves! Well that was easier thought than done... Well anyways, he was making great progress! If this was just like one of his dating sim games, after a few days and the right choices picked, they'd be closer than close! He almost drooled at the thought. See, Kinatto wasn't a pervert or anything... He was just in love. And certain thoughts accompany the male thought of love more than half the time... The love sick boy did see more than Yuki's body though, and he just couldn't find anything he disliked about her. Appearance is just the first thing the eye sees, so it's always taken into account, but Kinatto always said that he'd love Yuki no matter what body she was placed in. The fact that hers was idol worthy was just a plus among the long list of blessing she was gifted with! Yep, yep, in about six or seven days, he'd be in heaven if he was going by his video game knowledge.
Snapping back into the realm of Yuki and the other annoyances that populated their world, he didn't understand her statement fully at first. After all, he was high off of her very essence at the moment, a drug he'd never give up. So he just responded to the sporadic statement with "That's true Yuki-san!" Games tended to do that alot, you know like when you were already done with that character or whatever, they'd just spout out random stuff. Or at least stuff he never got. See he knew he was right to see life like a video game... Oh wait...Sometimes characters also tried to give out hints that you were losing the game. So was she claiming he was acting like some drug addict? Nah, that was impossible! He put together an out of body image of himself and immediately a sweat drop came to the side of his head. He scratched the back of his head as he chuckled softly, calming himself to an extent getting the message. His smile still stayed, maybe now a little diminished, but still it was evident he was happy as he now stuck his hands in his pockets, in hopes of looking a little more sober.
He stopped when she did, casting a curious gaze over in her direction and watching her gorgeous blue eyes scan the school yard. Oh how lucky the school yard was and how pretty the sapphire orbs where. They just reflected ever so nicely in the su-- oh wait he had to focus. She was looking for something and had failed to find it... This he only realized after she announced her disappointment. He looked forward, his mouth hanging slightly open as he made of list of things she could be searching for. Since he wasn't fully aware of her connection with the new tan foreign exchange student, only the king delinquent popped into his mind. His smile creased into a small frown at the thought. At least he couldn't really be called a pill popper with that face! He decided her failure was his success though, because a day without Xerves was just great. The day couldn't get better in his mind. Yea, today would just be awesome! Then suddenly there was a dangling bag next to his head, blocking his view of Yuki. It was connected to an arm. That arm was connected to a person. And as he went further down that line, a chill was sent down his spine and his back arched in fear as his eyes widened as his head snapped forward to elude eye contact with the beast. Maybe he was being paranoid and Yuki was right! He was high and seeing things thanks to the hospital drugs and lack of slee--
"You dropped this..."
His ears almost bleed when he confirmed that was in fact Xerves Decursus behind him. He had held back a weird sound when the demons words echoed into his ear. His teeth began to grit immediately. But how!?! Xerves was never at school early! He was never at school on time let alone early! Sometimes he wasn't even present!!! And yet here he was... The gods had just smacked Kinatto in the face. But in every great game there are great rivals, villains, and obstacles. The end result of his trials would be well worth all the torment they would be putting him through though, no doubt! So with that he turned his body so he could look at the delinquent and face Yuki still. His eyebrows arching in challenge up to the placid lavender ones. Though when they glanced over at him for a second before returning to his real target he again had to hold back some wimpy sound and look away, erasing his face of determined and focus hate and replacing it with that of defeat as his eyes now angrily stared at the ground. His face crumbled up, as if he was attacked with a sudden stomach ache in realization... He really had been with Yuki earlier?!?!

Xerves Axis Decursus
[the Delinquent]
[the Delinquent]

Xerves blankly stared at the girl as she hesitated on taking the bag, doing nothing more than blinking and breathing as he waited. She'd earned a few minutes of him not simply dropping the bag to the ground. Xerves cast his eyes away from her and towards the sky as she went through her moment... A small blush came to his cheeks as his eyes seemed to wince lightly when her strongly declared words reached his ears. Xerves was not one to enjoy apologies or anything like that all too much... He hardly enjoyed anything that involved human beings period. Fighting was the only thing he honestly could say that he knew he liked to do with others of his species. This of course didn't mean he didn't accept it or anything like that... It was just an awkward predicament and was simply weird for him. And it wasn't like many people were apologizing to him anyways. Well, they did, but they were small and unnoticeable, for things like running into him, stuff he really didn't care about... There apologies were forced out of fear, something like that Xerves couldn't really respect at all. But an apology like the one he'd just received was rare... So sincere and meaningful. He couldn't remember the last time he had ever received one like the one the girl just spat out once he thought about it. And about something not all too bad as well, as she had already made up for her intrusion with her cooking he'd already assumed.
Maybe because this time he was being good and not simply giving off a natural vibe of intimidation or bullying to receive the apology of sorts made it even more heartfelt. Well he always seemed to radiate intimidation, but that was beside the point. Sure he wasn't going to tear up or fall in love with the girl, but she'd been... Very nice to him. And well... He appreciated it. He didn't know exactly know how to feel about this girl just yet. He could at least say so far she wasn't as bad as others. Though when she started babbling he was tempted to change his mind. Sympathizing with her nervousness and unnessasary respect of him, he didn't pay it too mind. Catching only the first part of the babbled mess, he could grasp the gist of what she was attempting to say.
"Yea, it's no prob--" An annoying screech interrupted his head tilted a little. His eyes seemed to droop more and a light frown creased the corner of his lips. Soon enough the pink haired girl was lost in a crowd of others like her. Babbling idiots... Well except he was sure that's exactly what they were, damn minions of Audrey. His nameless maid he wouldn't completely group with them just yet. Xerves blinked at her as she stood infront of him, again yet another person stating his name with honorifics. Lavender eyes rolled under their low set lids as she spoke her dumb idea. What made it worse was that everyone around her actually followed the blond's orders and flooded inside. It didn't even register to him that the command had been a way for her to get her alone with simple abuse of power. He had kept his eyes over to where Kinatto had been standing after he rolled them, not really expecting to find the boy there or anything, just a place to escape the persistent annoyance. If he was, he would have had to retreat to the other side, as Xerves had forgot his former victim had been there at all. The poor kid had walked away with a headache holding some weird mark. So far it seemed Xerves and others had failed notice.
His mouth extended in a loud roar of a yawn as the two were left alone it seemed. Xerves simply blinked as he stared back at the girl. He opened his mouth after his morning laziness was somehow beginning to set in again.
"Well that was stupid..." he stated blankly as if talking to himself. Most of the time he found it was more peaceful, for him at least, to just ignore Audrey. As he scratched his head, he turned to begin the trek back to his lair, letting yet another roar-yawn escape his maw. He actually attempted to walk with his eyes closed as he rested both of his hands on top of his head. Luckily he didn't know today was a half day, or else his whole reaction to the whole ordeal would have been very different. It was better for the sake of humanity that Xerves stayed unaware of that fact for a good while...
