Memories floated in a forever shinning haven of light surrounded on all sides by water, free and untouched by no one or anything tainted with the evils only the living human could possibly posses. Pyreflies. The form that disembodied spiritual energy took, past lives turned into something magnificent for all to behold, be it seen through the ghostly eyes of the Fayth that dreamt of feeling Lifes embrace once more, or mourners that watched with tear filled eyes as their loved ones truly passed and were sent to the peaceful Farplane. One wisp. One life ended. One pyrefly. One corrupted essence. Just one too many.

It entered almost unseen, looking like all the rest. It's tail and shimmer just as dazzling as the others that created the ocean of flowing spirits that was the Farplane. It's movements looked no different from it's kin around it either as it twisted and twirled majestically to rise over the others. Staying the miniature size it was, it's color changed first before it would truly begin it's metamorphosis. From the glistening shade of what could be mistaken as a rainbow reflected into water to hue of the brightest blue, rivaling the sky that hovered innocently above it and the lands of a peaceful Spira. Another life drifted slowly into the planes. It's original intentions of moving into the flow of the falls of other Sent were silently interrupted as it was pulled by an unseen force to the floating enigma that had separated itself so far from other orbs of life that retained the color of refracting light into orbs water. The two opposites made contact, the blue growing twice it's size.

From what looked like water, but was rather the thousands and millions of past lives that were pyreflies, three balls of past memories were plucked out from all others and brought to an unknown substance and absorbed, increasing it's size by another noticeable amount. The unique being was given a dark aura around it after what appeared to be consumption of five more Sents. Beneath it a mirage of liquid appeared to dance as it wound itself in twist and twirls, a few of it's droplets being pyreflies straying from the core of the surge but still none the less twisted up into the floating sapphire that could have been mistaken for a blitzball. But it was of course something more than just a simple rubber play ball and it could not be simple water rushing to meet its summoner.

The results from the touch of the two were chaotic. The azure center grew more, and now so did the dark matter around it. In the ocean of souls, the destruction of what was supposed to be the haven for the dead soon became a dying Hell. Pyreflies were still siphoned into the glowing orb of energy. Creatures, fiends better yet, took the place of the thousands and millions of lives not yet absorbed by the unknown doom bringer. Many shapes and forms, many weapons and claws soon met in meaningless battle. And so, the Farplane was first turned into a battlefield before anything else. Even with more devastation sweeping across once holy lands, the beast forming was not interrupted from it's feast in the slightest as more flies were drawn to the expanding light.

Off to the side of the cliff that still was cascaded upon by a seemly infinite amount of souls, another collection began. It's core instead of a cobalt of an underdeveloped essence, it was one of the purest white and light. A mass of pyreflies collected at it's invisible shadow. They spiraled upwards, soon creating a perfect image of boots in a matter of a few seconds. As the form grew a cloaked bottom half, the boots transformation began, going from the multi-color of spiritual force to a black that almost matched the aura of the mysterious creature forming much slower above it. Strands of various colors followed the outline the liquid that shaped itself around the more divine center rather than the consuming other. A man of quite a hight in a long overcoat stood amongst the sanctuary's own Armageddon calmly and quietly, orange tinted shades resting low on the bridge of his nose.

A sword almost equaling the new arrival was held in gloved hands, a golden chain fashioned to a spiked golden hoop connecting it to the wielder's oddly placed loop on his jacket. The red portion of it's large blade shown as red as the flames that erupted off to the entities side, flames that almost scorched the skies that had been cursed to look down on the demise of the Farplane and the creation of Spira's almost forgotten behemoth. But still the man stood with no fear as flames began to catch onto everything it could catch onto and fiends and fought fled around him, him being touched the slightest by either. As if he wasn't apart of it. The awoken kings face remaining placid and hands remaining ever so still as still eyes looked up to the forming matter. As if he was waiting for something...

~*~*~

Fire and ice were two things that never got along... And so when Hell broke loose into their Heaven, their hate for one another could finally be released...

If the king had been watching the skies above rather than the growing colossal he would have seen the ruse of a young man set ablaze sear down to meet the Ice Queen. The connection between the flaming hand and the ground is what sent the fire into the air, that the aeon king did see. If his gaze would have stayed over there a little while longer, he would have seen the tower of icey spikes that gutted from the flaming earth, tossing a few freshly risen fiends into the air with its arrival.

The boy's movements were fast, the metallic glove he wore crushing through ice and soon making contact with blue flesh. He gripped her throat firmly, the female goddesses squirming useless against a superior strength. Canines slightly larger than those of an average human shown with his grin. It seemed the natural protectors of the world themselves had fallen pray to the fighting around them... Or at least to an eternal rivalry that could finally put to a close. Her lips curled up in a small smile back up to him, as if it was nothing to cry or be sad about.

The womans body began to dematerialize, from head to toe the pyreflies wound off of her into the forming monstrosity, leaving nothing but dirt in her place. The warriors clawed hand was frozen over after touching the ice goddess, but was quickly released from the icey chill she had left her quick demise with when flames engulfed his entire arm, then died back down, leaving not a burn on his skin. An unused katana sheathed in what was thought to be simple wood lay across his buttocks, held by simple leather belts that hung loosely, crossing in an X across black pants. He wore no shirt showing a thin and in shape body to the world of the rising dead. Two shoulder guards, one with small accessories of design here and there, shifted with his small movement of cracking the shoulder blade as he looked down to where his pray had fallen. The firey crusader of lore could have been mistaken for a simple blitzball player.

Looking off to the distance, first up to the still growing sphere and then down and over to the small figure that could barely be made out to be human. Options and choices of who exactly it could be lazily raced through his mind, as he gave it little thought as he began walking over to the human form in the distance. The fiends paid him no mind, as they rushed past him too, as they had done the first risen guardian. Too many species and races could be named and found in the fray of chaos that he walked so calmly through. And soon they would make their way out of the hell hole into the world of living. To that even the two risen divine reincarnations could not stand against. Nor would they even try... Nature was taking it's course.

Axis really had no idea where he was running to anymore. It'd been long since he'd actually thought about it rather than simply letting his feet guide him blindly through guarded streets. But he knew he wouldn't be caught any time soon. He wouldn't be able to keep that little promise if he kept running into re known sphere hunters...

Despite how long the veiled warrior ran, his stamina never seemed to take a hit, his breathes still leaking from his lips as easily as they had since the chance began, where as the norm would have been exhausted and gasping for air on the brick. Maybe a little fear and adrenaline helped keep the feet moving too. Axis doubted fear fueled the fire though. After all he could turn on them and probably switch their roles in a flash.

Despite his physical prowess, his metal abilities and patience could be considered much weaker, as he was sure enough tired of it.

His eyes seemed to brighten, as he dashed onwards, towards an unknown group being escorted by a few of his past accomplices so to speak. Luckily coming from the rear it gave him the advantage. Or at least to those backs he faced and not the guards in front of them. But Axis knew very well opening fire that close to almighty priests of Yevon would risk lives too important in the fray. It didn't stop him from trying to run up though, but it was all in vein.

Pushing past a strangly tattooed man, one of his silver blades soon found it's way too close to a certain follower of Yevon's neck. A smile creased his lips with the new situation, as the guards from his rear soon pointed their rifles at the back of his head, and also the one in the front even had his weapon pressed against his forehead. He tighted his grip on the sphere he held that rested under his betrayer's chin, from where he had wrapped the arm around a fleshy and exposed neck to secure the b*****d in place. His slight squeal kind of made Axis push him farther down on the hate list he had concocted.

Axis didn't know if he had just screwed himself or opened up a window for escape. He really didn't know. But he loved the adrenaline rush. He looked into the eyes of the guard in front of him who could claim his life in seconds. He had once known Axis, as Axis had known him. The name of this friend turned enemy passed his mind but was pushed out in place with the thought of just who the hell were the people next to him...

He was pretty assured that he had in fact, screwed himself pretty damn good.

Fiends of all shapes and sizes ran past the duo, as if some force field surrounded them, or they where invisible to their blood thirsty eyes. They were on there way to become targets of the monsters soon enough though. Both ruby and shaded eyes met those of humans, who also where ignored by the beasts around them. They looked up from their mechanical work as the pair passed. It seemed to be a giant moth of some sorts that they tinkered on... Both entities knew what it was. And it was something that had also altered their actions on their last visit... But Bahamut had already apologized for that.

The crusader eyed them though the corner of slightly squinted eyes, while the king did nothing, keeping a straight path with his eyes on the road once he had caught a glimpse of them. He had already decided to let nature's course of action be the one he followed... They had only been summoned to judge, so to speak... Both Ifrit and Bahamut had known that since their summoning.

The red blade he carried rested comfortably in his hand, he stopped at their exit. He cast a gaze over his shoulder to his companion. His companion nodded as if he had said a mouth full. Baha-- Zerves walked on, soon widening the gap between him and the other aeon sent to Spira.

The whole planes seemed to be still, all except for the still growing "defense mechanism". The heads and eyes of all the fiends seemed to turn and follow what would now be called Zerves as he set foot into the living plane. Their roars almost popped his eardrums.

The stampede was great, many getting crushed by former adversary's or leading the charge. Some went off to directions unknown on their own path. Guadosalam wouldn't have much of a chance against the current fleet. And neither would their first targets... But two of which had already thought ahead.

As Zerves stepped on ahead, turning around to observe, the one now called Kuro unsheathed his blade, placing it in the dirt not far from the cement which was the path constructed for living beings. Orange fire engulfed the weapon, streaming into where it cut. As the wielder dragged it the whole length of the true portal, the fire followed suit, blazing and scorching. The fire would hold off the fiends for some time and eliminate the ones stupid enough to try and bombarde past... There would be alot of stupid ones...

Walking through the flames as he sheathed his weapon, Kuro came out unscathed, as if he had walked through nothing but simple air. The other humans stuck on the other sides wouldn't have that privilege of escape... But their creation was already complete, laying dormant, so their damage had been done. And their judgment had been cast. Either die by fiends, burn, or try and run and eventually be killed by fiends turned aware of their existence. Neither turned back to care either, as the first beasts hit the wall of flames.

"How long do you think it will last?" Zerves questioned. They where nearing Guadosalam. And their guards, who cast suspicious gazes to them as they walked silently past into the green city... Luckily the flames wouldn't spread and blemish it's odd beauty.

It must have took a while for the guards to react to the wall of flames blocking living from the planes not so far off from their location. They must have seen after a curious look back to the road they figured the mysterious travelers must have traveled. Their calls for help where heard at the duos back. But what they didn't know they had actually been saved, both their city and the guards they panicked to try and protect from it's temporary protection. Fire starter and company would also be spared a vicious death too...

"Eh... Probably a couple of hours." the shorter of the pair later replayed after letting himself have silence hearing the exclaims of terrified guards. And so the "heros" walked under green roofs of Guadosalam soon enough.

"Humans sure know how to over react." he whispered to himself and his companion. A small hum was the only response he received other than the continuing wails of said humans.

Axis looked over his shoulder, seeing the guest decided to join fray. All except the few males who had accompanied them anyways. But Axis really didn't care, the less people involved the better.

His eyes scanned the streets ahead, looking into fearful eyes... Something that always seemed to fall on him wherever he went. He didn't like it. He never had, and never would. He didn't see how anyone could. Regret was also something that he'd never do. His brows angeled themselves downwards, surely showing his frustration... All this chaos was being caused by him. The one who was actually to be the good guy in the situation. The switching of roles would never happen in their minds. They'd just keep fearing the one trying to save them... All thanks to the veil Yevon had cast over their eyes. He was beginning to get pissed yet again. The thrill now gone and replaced with that feeling of seriousness that seemed to numb all of his other feelings in those other times... Not anger, not fear, not sadness... Nothing.

He shoved the sphere into his pocket, something he thought he could keep safe if held in hand but he let the fear of harm befalling it slip away with other things. The hand that had been occupied with the sphere finally met what it was supposed to be holding. The hilt of his other sword.

The change in weight was more comfortable to Axis as the other weapon fell from his shoulder. His path was soon blocked by huge doors rather than rifle weilding guards for once... As was expected. Too bad he couldn't open the door with his hands full. And the rude guests were more likely to follow him in. And he knew all too well there were guards within if not out. Adding more to the bunch he had may be a little bit more than he could chew

While he had stopped at the doors, the officers still had their weapons lowered fitted for there in their movement, and it seemed Baralai's guests of honor would be the first Axis' blades would meet. That was probably best, since they wouldn't open fire with such important people in the mix of it all... Or at least he didn't think so.

He brought one blade up coming across in a wide diagonal slash down with quite miraculous speed to the woman wielding quite a large blade, his other weapon kept it's position near his side at the ready. He really hoped the blade met steel rather than her flesh already. That'd be a disappointment and a mess. Another mess was something Axis definitely didn't need right now. When did he ever? The blow was just another warning of his, but he highly doubted others would see it that way. Plus now he was way too close to not fight. He doubted guards would miss his back from the distance he barely had between them now. He spoke after the swings completion.

"I guess it's too late to leave this with a simple "Back off" huh?" he said with a slightly more serious tone than before. The slightest hints of playful could be detected though. Too bad he wasn't playing around anymore.

Kuro looked over his shoulder to the girl who had brushed into him. He had paid it no mind as he looked forward to the tunnel that would lead him to the Thunder Planes soon after, paying it no mind. But he felt her eyes on his back after their accidental meeting. He hoped it wasn't an attitude problem... He really hated to be bothered with such things, and couldn't really assure how events would play out. But he didn't feel that from her gaze, it seemed to be a case of the chills, that slight state of shock or fear which humans seemed to give him so much in either of his forms while in their realm. Well sometimes it hadn't been fear. He remembered the few who hadn't given him those chilling looks when he made his appearances, from children's eyes reflecting awe and then there where those who had looked to him for protection.

But this was the first time he had donned this particular appearance. His other, true self being much more intimidating, giving a better reason for stares. He also had another face the humans had given him... He had of course strayed from the appearance of his fayth, as did his ally. So the reason for the look was far from his grasp... Did he have some aura he didn't know about? Probably.

His thoughts where interrupted by a usually silent accomplice. His words gracing his ears in his usually mellow tone reflecting his calm composure. It could be said that both had the posture, but Zerves more so than Kuro.

"The spawn will be about in a few moments. I doubt the flame will hold them..." the tall man said as he rounded a corner into a secluded alleyway of sorts. No one paid mind to them as they walked, soon to the back of it's odd green wall. Like the rest of the forest like city, it was fairly dark. Ifrit followed his lead, saying nothing. His mind was going back to his own thoughts. Bahamut could and would handle it without his response. He had already propped himself up against a wall, arms crossed. Red eyes focusing on the ground as his mind went on doing what it wished.

The large red blade cut through the soft surface of earth the wielder had chosen to sink it into. Casting a gloved hand to where they had left, a glowing glyph could appeared in front of his palm. A slight reflection of light could be seen for split seconds directly in front of and high above roaring flames and roaring monstrosities. As if the sky past the flames had been cloaked by an invisible mirror. And that it was. The glimmer the spell produced was the only evidence that would be shown that it was in fact there. That was until it was shattered... The reaction of that itself luckily wouldn't be a disaster. What would break the magic would be the cause of even more unrest rather than the unreal threat of giant shards of glass falling from the skies.

A slight pulse ran through both his and Kuro's mind. The crusader looked up from his thinking spot on he had picked out and up to the skies over the the Farplane, unsure of who else but his companion had felt such a thing. It was the mark of Sin's completion. How long until it's escape he didn't know. But he knew it'd be a quick escape for it. It's ferocious spawn where the ones to be contained in the momentary prison, not it. Efforts of trying to stop anything else would wind up being in vain.

Axis gritted his teeth as he heard of them wanting his sphere... Thanks to not so quiet whispers. Or at least to him. And he had felt the taking his potion. No one would really take to kindly now would they? It seemed now he was the prey of these hunters along with the goons of Bevelle. He was wanted by everyone it seemed. Or at least two seemingly large parties... Who seemed to be grouped together, and both with not so nice intents on his end. Really wasn't liking that at all.

After the exchange of ,fairly loud, hushed voices, another member of the hunting squad began her bobbing and weaving between her comrades, something Axis wished he had. He couldn't even count the numbers he stood against, but he figured he'd still get through... What ever the mess he was in. He didn't need anyone else on his side far as he was concerned. Such feeble things as human bodies wouldn't obstruct him from a threat.

Well at least not now when he was as alert as you'd ever catch him. Especially after he had been shot at twice by more trained eyes. He got the warning... He was surprised he hadn't lost a limb or something when he felt the two small cuts form on his arm, luckily on the side of the shooter stood on and not the other due to piercing through lots of flesh. The gunner didn't seem to have that killing intent about her though. None of the sphere hunters seemed to for that matter. Well the large blade swung at him after the owners attempt at confusion made Axis question that observation.

Swinging the free blade that had missed the thieving blonde, his made steel contact with the opposing other. The impact made his supporting legs knee almost buckle. Golden eyes going from the furious dancer, to the merciful gunner. His finger moved to the trigger oddly placed on his hilt as he turned his first swung blade towards her quickly, sliding against the enemy's sword rather fully taking it off. He wasn't stupid. He pulled his trigger once, sending off a hopefully grazing hit. If not that then either someone was mighty quick, or a rather nice face was about to be ruined.

All of his arms seemed tied up and open for more of the blonde's pickpocketing attempts or maybe something else from one of the combatants he held arms against currently. Axis's more serious composure wasn't about to let up, but it wasn't his killing face per se. He'd already dedicated himself to causing no deaths, but it seemed to be a very hard restraint for him to hold. So maybe his tying up wasn't the worst thing that could happen to him. After all he could have been caught by cut throat bounty hunters or something... So maybe luck was on his side in this hell he'd been cast into.

"It's not very nice to take stuff that's not yours... And if you think it's what they're after your sadly mistaken."

His voice was laced with the intsy bit of playful yet again, and now a small smidgen of a lie with it. It was half true the guards weren't after the sphere. He doubted they even knew what was on it or that he'd been holding one for a while. But the man behind the men surely wouldn't mind it returned into the hands of other certain hands. More hands that wouldn't mind wrapping their hands right round his neck. And he doubted the guards positioned around them wouldn't miss the gangs receiving it. He knew for sure who ever was behind their sending wasn't going to take to lightly to guests simply taking the sphere that would show the world their not so nice things.

"I doubt you believe that, huh?" If the ruse had worked, his questioning of it surely ruined the plot ll together. But he didn't care. And even if they really had or did ,it seemed both where going to do what they wanted. Be it take a certain sphere, or steal a ship and get off the swarming streets at last.

(Uh oh, gotta go hide Axis's porn O.O lol Sorry about any delays, been addicted to this one anime, mahou sensei negima, and it got me in touch with the perverted humorous side thingy everyone seems to have... I think lmao xD
Late reply:: Axis has no dressphere probably, he's just a gunner-swordsman thingy... Think somethin' with a little dip in white magic, none in teh healz, and urm samurai-warrior-fighter tidus like thingy lmao <.< )

The screams of pain or of instinctual aggression stopped from behind the high wall of fire. The crackling and roar of the flames over lapped most of the ceased fiends noises, but the small burst and outlines that tried to push through the flames forward stopped as well. As if something else had caught their attention rather than the feast of lives that they yearned to reach so badly. The yelling at front lines toned down to whispers and then to silence as well, them too also noting the silence.

Soon the whole flow of panicked movement seemed to stop with the guards, the chain reaction leaving only awe stuck humans and a crackling fire on one side and frozen fiends looking over shoulders on the other. Even the beings out of place could have seemed bothered by it, one of the two arching curious eyebrows as his clawed hand went to rest on the hilt of his katana.

The silence was broken after an awkward amount of time of gazing on into flame or sky, those that decided to look around the town stuck out of place as their heads moved from side to side in the still ocean of bodies. A beam of white light erupted from the center of what was once the Farplane.

Large shards of the magical glass were tossed into the sky only to be evaporated by the beam of pure energy. The frenzy returned to the crowd, and with it so did the fiends. None broke the barrier of flame, nor other worldly magic, but they seemed to be getting closer. As faces of all kinds could be caught here and there along the wall, from a few exact reflections of past souls to exotic animals. The guards started up their commands that seemed not too work to well in either dousing the fire or calming the people. It was pretty much perfect chaos... If there was such a thing

Above stampeding humans their flew a great behemoth unseen by most eyes. Those who saw it gasped for words and some screams melted in with others to be unheard. A few screams echoed it's name, those who may have heard it must have ignored it and kept on going to who knew where. Obviously nothing new couldn't scare them to a new level.

The glowing wings stretching from it's head remained the same over it's short time of being erased from the world, as did most of it's body. Right down to it's giant wing like arms and large claws, and to the large tail that dangled limply from it's body. A symbol from a colossal more freshly erased from Spira's lands glowed red on it's chest. Moth like wings sprouted from the beast's backside, another trace of the last nightmare the world had been put through.

Many brushed past what seemed to be the only two people that did not truly panic. Kuro's arms crossed as people brushed past, while Zerves free hand extended to the skies again. The glyph reappearing on his hand, and the shield also reappearing in it's same glimmer of color seconds before it returned to it's state of lesser invisibility.

Looking back up into the sky, the monster's mouth glowed a violent color, white strands moving around the mouths surface until a sphere was formed upon the opening of it's giant maw, the light's hue mainly remaining the same dark purple with specs of black within it. The creatures mouth stretched to fit with the ball until it became to big, soon the energy covering the of the creator's oddly shaped face that had been burned and etched into nearly all resident's of Spira one time or another...

The blasts radius wasn't too large, but on such small quarters it did great damage. Slicing through the town square, leaving an endless crater in it's place, a bright flash following it. Zerves arched his brow in confusion after the sight. The old Sin would have decimated the place easily, and yet this one hadn't managed to destroy the small area that was Guadosalam. Terrofied people kept on running, those stuck behind the smoldering crater began the long run around. The newly risen fiend seemed to look down to the crowd of scrambling ants, then eventually flew up, flapping it's luminescent butterfly wings until it was out of sight.

"Must be because of it's reawakening... Or lack of a controller." Zerves whispered to himself under his breath. In all truth, he really didn't know... Yu Yevon could have been recreated with it, but he doubted that. The conflict of the Sents it was composed of may have been an exuse for it's weakness too... But none the less, it seemed Guadosalam had been sparred. Zerves wasn't so sure about the next victim though... He personally hoped he'd be able to do more by then.

Silently walking past his accomplice who once again followed behind after his passing, they began to flow into walk with the crowd, which had begun to thin out faster than it would have thanks to recent declines in the population. They where soon left with no more than a few lolly gaggers who ran by swiftly. Their clothes, or lack of clothes, made them stick out of place in the open as they moved rather slowly onto the Thunder Plains... Hopefully in all of the rush of the situation, people wouldn't forget to stay fairly close to the rods...

"Hopefully after your little shield wears off the guards will have the brains to go ahead and get out too... Or at least call for bigger guns..." Kuro said to Zerves' back looking over his shoulder for a second then back forward. He had an odd feeling that had caused to him tense up ever since the run in with that girl... He really couldn't place a finger on it, but he was slightly on edge. A small chuckle could be heard from the king as he continued his stride. Zerves knew the number of fiends ,and possibly added Sinspawn, left behind the wall would still be a little too much for the brave, or stupid, few left to fight for a ruined Guadosalam... And possibly still too much for two mysterious sphere hunters walking alone in a recently trampled tunnel.

"What, can't give me anymore credit than being a perv?" he asked with his voice carrying a false sense of hurt and the same amount of kidding as her tone did. And thankfully his sphere contained better things than amateur porno, however hard that may be to believe, but sadly he couldn't just hand it over. Not if they planned to give it right back to the hands it had just escaped.

He began to back peddle quickly after she disengaged him, and after he noticed the others following her suit, a more successfully confusion on their part this time around. Axis ran out of room quick, his back soon almost running into the door behind him. Stopping and holding his weapons firmly off to his sides, leaving his chest fairly open, but of course his guard would be up.

The guards wisely taking up the opportunity yet again didn't give Axis the best comfort one could have had in his situation. But somehow he remained a somewhat good thinking process through it all. Even while bullets whizzed past, a few glancing his flesh adding cuts to his small collection one both of his arms and a few putting small cuts on his pants fabric. One even placing a cut on his cheek. Then one finally hit his arm head on, forcing one of his weapons to drop to the ground... And right before he was about to fend of the sphere hunters.

He felt warm blood trickle down his arm, which began to go numb, starting from his finger tips. But he wasn't really afraid of the new feeling, he'd had his fair share of pretty bad wounds and this could be healed up... If he ever got the chance. Looking down to the new damage out of human nature, but quickly back up finding a blade hurtling down towards him. Knowing he couldn't go back any more, he dashed to the side, forcing him to put weight on his injured arm thanks to his lack of balance at the moment. He winced, squinting one eye, as he did so he lifted up his only weapon in defense against another enemy weapon. And a few bullets unknowingly.

Sliding down the parried sword with his, he attempted to dash past one of his adversaries quickly doing a small leap from where he was to his disarmed weapon, extending a bleeding arm to it.

[Probably gonna make Baralai, Gippal, Nooj, or someone pop out and make you meanies stop T.o lol

The punch to the gut he received could have been called necessary, and Kuro sure wasn't going to complain about it. A very light gasp for breathe and a small lurch was all he gave as response. Soon standing up right to full height as he felt the fist move from his gut, he stared into his attackers eyes with a smirk, his red eyes meeting those of green.

"You done?" Kuro asked, his tone carrying as much seriousness as it did playful in an odd manner. The other did not return a smile or grin, but instead gave a slight nod as his sign for a yes as his lips stayed in their emotionless position. Stuffing his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket, he kept on staring at Kuro, obviously waiting for his leave. The white fur that lined the taller boys jacket shifted with both of the two's black hair in a small wind, Kuro's hair being the longer. The smirk the slightly shorter boy had held quickly went to the same emotionless disposition after an awkward moment of silence.

Turning and walking off into the shadows the abandoned warehouse created, he disappeared from sight, trading no words with past friends. Placing one hand into his own green coat's pocket, Kuro watched the space his... Former companion had walked into, a small urge inside him yelled to call after him. He let loose a sigh.

"Sorry..." he seemed to whisper unintentionally in a new found hushed voice off to his side to no one. He then turned to make his own leave. Quietly and slowly making his way out of the barren lot and off into alleyways. And from alleyways to city sidewalks.

The weapons hilt had always brought him comfort. But now it brought him a little bit of pain. The wound seemed to pulse, sending a small shockwave of agony down his arm. But he ignored it as he finally seized the weapon fully, holding it in green gloves stained with dark red. It wasn't the first time he'd seen this particular scenario fall upon them. He never thought it'd be the last time either. But soon they were almost tugged off by his assumed enemy. Who then started to lead him away from the fray. His first steps had to be regained as he tripped himself, still bamboozled by the new turn of the conflict.

He looked back over his shoulder as he was quickly dragged along, he heard mumbles from his front and saw only a slightly blurred scene from behind, but he made out what was going on. The adrenaline that had seemed to been lost from him being banged up so quickly seemed to flow back into place as he turned his head forward and down to the street moving underneath his feet. He shook the hair covered head just to get the last bits and pieces of it back.

"Uh... Porn?.. Kidnapping?.. What?" he said in that obviously confused low voice to himself that everyone had when they'd come back from a good daydream or had started to drift of to sleep and tried to catch back up with a conversation. Or after suffering a nice bullet wound to the arm from your friendly city guard as the injured arm was then almost torn off by a rabid sphere hunter.

Axis was pretty sure of the words he'd heard, but still continued to doubt what he'd at least thought to have heard. What he had heard and thought would have been nice, but it probably wasn't the best of times to be thinking such things... But come on now, he was after all only human. A male one at that. And being the somewhat smart human that he was Axis eventually put the pieces together to what could be called fairly deciphered. He'd come to figure the porn thing was another mention of his sphere.

He let loose a sigh as he looked up to the same girl who'd obviously marked him as some kind of weird porn theif tugged at his out stretched, heavily bleeding, arm was pulled along, luckily holding the swords blade away from her. Even though he still wasn't exactly certain if it should have been...

"So, just where are we going?" he asked his "kidnapper" curiously. His deep yellow , recently cleared, eyes took in the scenery around him better than a few seconds ago had allowed as they darted around from side to side. His feet continued moving at the same pace of his captor. Stopping them right now and trying to get back to the chaos he'd caused would have been the choice of a fool. Or would his new destination be worse than the recently calming turmoil behind him? If that was even possible.

The rash and tanned pip squeak looked up and back to the who could be titled the more mature of the two. Or at least the more patient. To him it seemed it was more like a lost child thing or a situation along those lines. Even if the girl did seem older than most who would be swung into such a thing... But none the less, he'd be a little sympathetic. Oh but wait... She'd already shown she knew more than just a deserted child. Or anyone else for that matter.

Kuro had appreciated how she'd gotten right to the point, rather than doing too much stammering around the whole thing like most may have, but he of course didn't like the numbers of fiends that could start their own path down the tunnel they'd finally reached the end of. He'd be pissed if he had to fight after the miniature journey was done. The bigger part of their excursion still waited ahead of them. And even after that one was completed he had much more to do. Things more important than reunite family... But his heart wasn't all black, as he felt some desire to lend a helping hand. A very, very, small portion hadn't been barbecued inside him just yet.

He hadn't decided if it was a big issue or not if she knew just where they had come from. Apparently not too many people had cared, nor had they thought about it, but undoubtedly it was in fact best that no one knew of their origin. Or at least not too many. After meeting slightly shaded eyes who had met his for sometime, Kuro turned his head back to the new arrival with a small sigh of weariness, his eyes more affectionate, but not matching the kinder others just yet.

"If you saw where we came from, you'd probably find yourself knowing we know just as much as you do." his voice could be called cold rather than just calm if the person was very sensitive, but he tried not to be. After all, he was already showing a little compassion by answering all together. Lying had been an option too, but he really didn't like doing such things, and it would probably show when he tried... If he ever did... Now that he thought about it he hadn't really lied before. He was sure he'd get his chance one day though. As for now, he'd stick to bending the truth. Just like he did now. He could live with that.

"If your sister is in the Farplane, I'm sure she'd rather have you go somewhere safe. The Farplane obviously isn't in the best of shape." Zerves butted in, as to make the truth sound less painful than it really was as he kept the friendly smile worn and directed towards her as it had been from the beginning. Zerves too had the sense of urgency on his mind, but he probably cared more for the safety of the girl than Kuro (who actually did indeed care). He and his companion probably had a fairer chance of survival versus the horde of monstrosities they'd left behind than a lone sphere hunter.

Every pull, tug, and movement of the injured arm sent pains both big and small through the the muscled arm. The ranges of pain flowing with the range of movement, the small surges being nothing but annoying pinches while some others had resulted in sharp breaths inwards. A small thought of relief came over him when he had heard the unrequired statement that they weren't going to "the girly man's tea party". Because of the way that they ran away from the very building it was held in, and the fact that a few guards had been dispatched by their hands; he was sure of her claim. And yet, even with it being said and having enough evidence of it being true, the group had shown that they could very easily change faces.

Nearing the ships, his question was finally answered with a question that he was sure was rhetorical... It really didn't matter if he did or did not he'd probably still be getting on that ship. And besides lying about something as small as that would be pretty stupid. But yea, Axis had been on his fair share of ships. All of his past experiences had been willing though, on the other hand.

His captor had said something about going to pick up her comrades. So he wasn't completely out of the s**t yet. When going back to the fray had come up, he'd thought of bolting off, but he doubted he'd get far even if he had escaped her grip... Well he could cut the hand off, but that'd be pretty cruel. If he could do it at all with a busted arm that was. And after all it was only to pick up those left behind. He figured that was that.

He bowed his head a little in his own frustration as he scanned the ground for nothing in particular, his scowl hidden by his scarf luckily, but the eyes may have said enough. Luckily his wound wasn't hurting all too much when they finally headed for what he figured to be their ship, his weapons hung limply in his hands.

The red liquid now just stuck to his arm rather than dried onto it, the flow of it all had seemed to stop for now as well with it's slipperiness. But the injury still held it's pain quite well though. Probably because the bullet was still in there... Axis figured it would have been much worse had the bullet to have gone through the bone, probably breaking that altogether, and then out the other side, and granting him a fully torn muscle. He guessed he could consider himself blessed a little bit once again with that... The first being his captors hadn't killed him and taken the sphere already. And it seemed they would give him medical attention too...

Well maybe he would have had some earlier if his own emergency supplies hadn't been stolen by a particular blonde in the group. He of course wasn't all too found of that much either. But he rally couldn't do anything about it so, his blunt personality let it slip.

"Alright..." he replied to the girls statement. He looked up and away from her when he had spoken, as if worshiping the ships details in his anger. In all actuality he hadn't been looking at them at all, but he did notice from the beginning that it was a very nice ship. A lot more appealing than the ones he had been on before anyways.

His temper simmering down but not fully to the most friendliest of moods just yet. Every once in a while he still got a flash of a last minute run before he was fully stuck on their ship, but he let them pass just like his potion, nothing he really could do, or at least nothing he really could do to get a benefit of some kind. Especially not in their elevator... He was sure in such close quarters and with him having a useless arm, the sphere hunter would probably make quick work of him without much help from the others. The faster he simmered down, the quicker the thoughts that could lead to an idiotic death would leave too... He'd have to for his own good. No matter how hard it was to get over. Axis would have to try his best.
