Had Aislinn noticed how closely Mitch had been watching her since she stepped through the door? Definitely. It actually made her do more things to tempt him . . .and plus, his attention being at least a little bit on her, assured her that he wasn’t completely being rude . . . at lest that he wanted her around for some reason, even if just to look at. It made her feel the tiniest but better. He couldn’t hate her if he was constantly looking down her shirt. She was okay with it . . and the thought of charging him with sexual harassment didn’t even occur to her. She would applaud Mitch for harassing her . . . because it wouldn’t be harassment at all. She wanted nothing more than to just be able to hug him when she got to work, and maybe throw in a kiss here and there without him having a cow and pushing her away. Yet if she just touched him these days, he’d give her some difficult task. She wished he WOULD do more than just look.

Aislinn has successfully brought him coffee, although she still didn’t know why he didn’t go into his office and make some himself. Hell, she would have offered to help him make the coffee. As she was waiting for his answer, she couldn't help but to envision herself going into Mitch's office with him. If he'd slip up, his office could be extremely entertaining. Chances were if they were in his office together, she would probably clear off his desk . .. or maybe accidentally knock things off, and possibly push him down on it, and oh! Maybe she could even .. . .wait, no. She couldn't do any of these things, because he wouldn't even consider letting it happen. So instead of thinking about all of the things they could do together, or to each other, she repeated the word 'coffee' over and over again in her head. That way, her thoughts were strictly focused on coffee, and not on Mitchell. . . and yeah . . . that technique was an epic fail on her part. It didn't really work at all. All it did was made her want to pour Mitch's coffee on his shirt when he started acting the way he had been that morning.

"Ha, that is an understatement" She scoffed at his b*****d statement. Of course, he was a b*****d in the literal sense, but he was a real b*****d in the jerk type way to her, too. However, she grinned rather than pissing herself off, and moved a fraction of an inch closer to him. "Well, I COULD always HELP you make your coffee. Then you wouldn't be making your own. It could be fun." The previous thought of herself and Mitch on top of his desk flashed through her mind, telling her that she needed to go do something else to tempt him with. Putting up CD's had a few ways that she could do that . . . such as bending over and doing whatever else she could to catch his attention. Although, while she was doing all of this, she got to thinking about the times that Mitch wasn't such a jerk. If they were at work and he decided to lay off the b***h act, then for a few seconds he could act towards her like he used to when she was still in high school and a kid. And on Christmas he had given her a necklace. It was one of his old ones . . . but she actually liked it . . . and was wearing at this very moment, but it was the thought that counted. She appreciated him not just blowing her off on Christmas. Aislinn herself didn't quite know what to get him that year, so she just got him a whole bunch of stuff from different stores that she'd gotten half price or for free. She'd made up for that with a very nice guitar for his birthday . . . even if it WAS pink. It had an amazing sound . . . she wished he would play for her sometime, too.

Eventually, she stopped thinking about the way things used to be . . . if she did she'd probably end up getting really sad, and that she did not want to happen. A lot of the things that Mitch said wound up hurting her feelings, but no way was she going to show it. Though there was no doubt she would slip up at some point. However at this very moment in time, she wasn't going to.No, she would just continue to put up CD's and whatnot. She noticed that a CD in her hand had a crack in it and frowned. That wasn't supposed to be there. Sighing, she made her way over to the counter so she could fill out one of the forms that needed to be filled out when things like this happened. She paused for a moment when she heard something. She couldn't believe that it had been said out LOUD, but she could hear it quite clearly. . . and really, she couldn't ignore something as good as this. It was amusing, at that. He'd realized that he said it out loud and was silently cursing, causing Aislinn to bite her lip to prevent herself from laughing at him. She could definitely use this piece of information against him. If he was indeed extremely horny, then the tiniest things she did to try to tempt him would most likely have an effect on him. It was slightly evil, thinking this way, but it would be to her advantage. In the sense that if he gave in they'd actually get to do something for once, and she kind of thought it was cute. Or amusing.

The fact that he was trying so hard not to say anything about what she did . . . and failed. And he looked amazing when he was flustered with himself. She set the form and CD down for a moment and, since she was already near him, she moved a bit closer, leaning towards him and lowering her voice, even though they were the only ones in the store at that moment, anyway. "Well, don't you think you should do something about that? You can't be extremely horny all day . . . because you wouldn't be able to focus on your job. But I'm pretty sure if you gave in, then you wouldn't feel that way." Aislinn wasn't going to pretend like she didn't know what she was doing, that is, trying every way she could to get to him. Yet at the same time, when she did these type of things, she had an air of obliviousness and innocence. Besides, if she was forced to be frustrated and angry with the situation, then he got to be frustrated at the same time. She leaned back, away from him as she pulled herself up so she could sit on the counter, and that was when she proceeded to tell him about what she thought of working at the register . . . and then about the new employee. Mitch seemed to have no clue about what she was talking about.

This, she didn't understand. She knew for a fact that Aiden had gone and told him that they were hiring someone new. Aislinn kind of stared at him for a second, because he couldn't seem to remember the simplest things. She was surprised he remembered to put on pants in the morning. Although she may not have objected to that. She did however object to him not remembering his birthday. At that thought, she found herself taking from Mitch and saying some of HER thoughts out loud, although they weren't as extreme as his were. "I bet you can't even remember YOUR OWN birthday, let alone anyone else's."[/'color] She complained as she slid off the counter to go and greet their new employee. "Well, you know now." She said in regards to him not knowing of Craig, then walked over and of course started to flirt. Mitch didn't stay long to watch her show, though, as he made a bee-line for his office, slamming the door shut behind him. She would have winced a little bit, but seeing as she was very used to this behavior, she didn't even bat an eye. Okay, she actually did, but that was only because she was flirting with another guy.

And she continued to do so, but managed to work it in with actually doing her job and teaching Craig how to work the register. She may have done many things that had nothing to do with her job, and frequently made trips into certain closets, but she did get her job done in the process. Flirting with Craig and thinking about the supply closet as Mitch made himself visible again, only this time with headphones in, she got an idea. The idea was of course the one that involved her taking Craig into the supply closet to see what Mitch would do. But what Mitch didn't know was that she wasn't going to physically be doing anything with him, though that wasn't to say that she wasn't going to play it up that she was. Even though the statements that Mitch was making, such as 'Tah hell you will.' and 'Hell no' were extremely negative and showed his obvious disapproval, Aislinn ignored it and ended up inside the closet with a grin on her face. Like I said, she wasn't planning on kissing the boy. However she was still holding his hand when they stepped into the closet.

"What's this all about? Not that I'm complaining . . . " commented Craig as Aislinn turned on the light and leaned up against the wall. "Well, you see, the supply closet is very important. You have logs you need to fill out when you switch boxes, and anything else extra that needs to be used for the store. Cleaning supplies, bags, et cetera. And . . . of course there is another reason I come in here." Craig raised his eyebrows, obviously interested in where this was going, even though it really wasn't going anywhere at all. Truth was . . . this was all an act. For both Craig AND Aislinn. Craig was one of her other male friends from highschool. They didn't talk and hang out nearly as much as Adrian and Aislinn did, but they were friends all the same. Now Craig didn't know everything about her and Mitch, relationship-wise, but he did know that Aislinn had a thing for Mitch, and he was willing to help out in any way that he could do so. Craig had a job here now, because Aislinn's brother was complaining about them not having her around when she had to go to school. And if they were going to hire someone to replace her, then it had to be someone with the same musical drive and ability to sell the product. Craig was a man-whore, and he had those components. Plus, it would be fun playing with Mitch. Aislinn wasn't a whore . . and Craig knew that, which is why he didn't want to seriously do anything with her.

What really happened was they cleaned. Yes, cleaned. They'd already had it planned out that when they came into the supply closet they would kind of reorganize it, all the while making it seem as if they were making out. That way if Mitch burst into the room, they could be like "Wha?? Nothing is going on." And of course Craig would leave and Aislinn would push Mitch up against a wall and . . well, you know. She really wished he would just come in here one day with her. They didn't have to make out like she wanted to, but . . . well, it could be a nice place to talk, right? None of the others in the store would be looking at them . . she could sit in his lap and just lean against him . . it would be amazing. Of course Aislinn of all people knew that the chances of this happening were slim to none. A few minutes later, Aislinn tripped over her feet, knocking into Craig on accident. Craig laughed and remarked loudly, "Woah, trying to get on top already?" In which Aislinn giggled in response. "Not yet, babe. You need at least one more trip here to get to that level." She joked as she gained back her balance.

Another few minutes passed by of pretending, until they both decided that it was time to leave. Aislinn didn't tousle her hair a bit or lick off her lip gloss before they left the room, simply because she didn't want to. Her goal was to piss off Mitch, making him think that something had been going on, when nothing at all had been happening. And maybe it would invoke the reaction she wanted, too. Craig jumped as he left, though, and that was when she saw that Mitch was standing right outside the door with a glare on his face and his arms crossed. She slowly approached the door way as Craig took his place at the cash register like he was supposed to, then leaned against the side of the door frame. "So what are you doing now, spying on me? Or is standing outside doors suddenly a new hobby for you? Or maybe you decided a visit to a supply closet would help the fact that you are so horny today." She grinned at him, although she didn't really know what he would do from here . . .Either way she was growing tired of this., despite the fact that it was her making it happen. You don't know how much she wished she could just . . . . well, right now, he was standing pretty close to her . . . . he must have really been intent on staring at the door. But she just wanted to kiss him. Kiss the look that was on his face off. She knew for sure that she had accomplished her goal in aggravating him, though. But what were the consequences for her this round?

Every family has a tradition. Some people wear multiple presidential paraphernalia when elections come around. Some paint their bodies when a big football game comes around, say the Cowboys versus the Redskins? Some carve pumpkins for Halloween. But…that is slightly different from this tradition. Normally, traditions reside between only ONE family at a time, two at most. This tradition…is between EIGHT families. Every Christmas, these families would meet up in Colorado, South Dakota, or Michigan to celebrate the week before and after Christmas together.

These eight families, at one point, all had two parents, whether they are malexmale, femalexfemale, or malexfemale. The parents all at one point attended the same college. They instantly became best friends. And after their graduation, each family only ended up with one kid. They got to talking, and because they understood that it was harder for only children, they decided that once a year they would gather at a designated point. That 'once a year' happened at Christmastime. And they just wanted for their kids to have ‘siblings’ for once. But these kids could never be ‘siblings’. Even as toddlers, they fought constantly, always getting in each others faces. They grew older, and verbal fights turned physical. But the parents hoped that they would get past that, and learn to love each other. It wasn’t likely. The last get together was three years ago. The tradition was broken in a bone-breaking fight. One of the families had a son that was older than the rest of the kids. And he always had to start something, thinking he was better. That last time, a Christmas Battle Royalle took the form of a food fight, mixed in with a fist fight between the oldest son, and one of the girls. The fight ended when he accidentally broke her arm.

Now, a tragic event has made the parents bring them all together one more. The same girl that had her arm broken, who will be referred to a Miss Cut-Me Loner, lost both of her parents in a car crash. It was the parents of the older son, who will be referred to as Mister Superiority Complex, that showed up at the funeral, son in tow. They saw how depressed she was, and decided that this Christmas; she would really need a family. All the others were contacted, and it was decided. That December, they would come together at Miss Cut-Me’s parents place in Colorado, in a last attempt to unite their children, even if they were all adults now.

The teens aren’t enthused with their parents’ decision. Not in the least. Especially not Miss Cut-Me. She may not have a family this year, but more than anything she just wanted to be alone. Or at least away from Satan’s Eighteen year olds and of course the one 21 year old that lowered her self-esteem so much. They all had one thing in common; they didn’t like each other, and wanted to do anything it took to get to go home early. Just wait until they find out they have to share a room with their enemy. The lives of eight teenagers have turned into a Nightmare Before Christmas, and this time Jack Skeleton is nowhere to be found. Will you join and determine the fate of this dreary Christmas? Maybe they won’t end up wallowing in hatred after all, but that’s up to you to decide.

Just knowing that she was going to be on the phone with Shaant soon had the stress and tension slowly disappearing. It didn't seem right to her, though. What happened to the same feeling she used to get when she was around Seve? Hadn't he been the one that normally melted away her stress? Yeah, he had been, even though she hadn't gotten nearly as far with Seve as she had with Shaant. But now, he was the number one cause of the tension she felt. Not only did he not show any feelings for her, but she saw him all the time because he was in her band. She couldn't just do like she possibly could have done back in high school and just ignore him because she actually had to talk to him and be around him when they had to do a gig, or the just met up for rehearsal. And it was even harder because he had no clue just how much it affected her. Not that she would ever tell him or anything, but the fact that he was oblivious to the way that she felt, even after coming right out and saying it, really really sucked.

But whether she would admit it or not, her feelings were slowly changing. Of course she wouldn't admit it, because she had no clue what this was. She just wasn't used to the giddy feeling she was feeling just now as she heard Shaant's voice over the phone. But maybe it wasn't that she was giddy about just talking to him . . . maybe she was just giddy because she knew what was going to happen once they got to the hotel? . . . Xan thought about it for a moment as Shaant spoke about him calling at a bad time, and came to the conclusion that this wasn't why she was giddy. She'd started getting giddy about Shaant for that reason originally, but it wasn't like that now. Somehow or another she'd started growing feelings for the prostitute that was showing her a good time. This was an extremely odd concept to her, but it wasn't anything she could help. Shaant was just. . . well, he was just different. But in a good way, of course. Xan just couldn't help but think that she was making a mistake in liking Shaant, as well as Seve. What she wanted was never going to happen in a million years.

"Of course that' a very right thing! Because if you didn't answer, I would be very sad, and . .. um . . come up with something else later. Hopefully I don't have a reason to come up with something else." Xan had a fear that one day Shaant would decide that she just wasn't worthy of being a client, or someone that he wanted to be around anymore. But as of now it didn't look like that would happen, at least not today. The laugh that Xan heard following her own giggle kind of made her feel better. She liked that she was able to make him laugh, even if what she was doing was totally retarded. Not to mention that he had a nice laugh. Yeah, it sounded retarded, but when they were together and one person said something to make the other laugh, a whole round of laughing was started, and they couldn’t stop until one of them calmed down the other. It was a really good feeling. “Yeah, but if you were hiding, then I wouldn’t be able to see your face. And that would be bad. . .because .. . it just would.” Xan didn’t really want to say anything like that . . . because telling your prostitute that you wanted to see his face and be with him was not normal. Besides, what if it scared him or something? “But of course I was going to join you in that confined dark space. Although, if I did that then we would never get anywhere. Don’t you think people would get suspicious of a car randomly on the side of the road, with no one in it? My car could get towed!”

While them getting caught together was a worry of hers, she knew that if it ever happened that people would get over it and move on. But with that would come complications and there would be a lot of angry people, fans included. She and Shaant would hear a lot of flack over it, more from the fans that the actual people in the band. The Traptnest and Black Stones were big rivals in the fans eyes, not so much in Xan’s eyes. Sure they were a little competitive at times, but nothing too bad. However the fans . . well, they were vicious. But that wasn’t something that they needed to worry about at the moment, seeing as they were going to a hotel, and they would be safe once they made it there. She’d make sure they didn’t get a room with windows, and no one would be standing outside the door trying to decipher who was in the room. At least she hoped not. She was brought out of her thoughts with Shaant’s comment on her being his Drag King. This made her laugh again., as she had never even HEARD of a drag King. “Haha, yeah you are right. I definitely haven’t seen any of those lately, nor have I ever heard that term used. But if you want me to be your King, then I am going to have to ask to borrow some of your clothes. Like . . . one of your button down shirts, and jeans. And a belt, because I am pretty sure your jeans would be huge on me.” She laughed at the thought of wearing his clothes in public, but contained it so that she didn’t sound like a freak.

Then a thought popped up in her head, and she didn’t want to say anything about it. She first wondered why they would go to the mall anyway, or at least why Shaant would want to go to the mall with her. He WAS only interested in the sex right? Why would he want to go to the mall where they couldn’t really do that. But the thought that really got to her, was the thought of her WANTING to go to the mall with him. Like a couple. She really loved the way he made her feel when he was doing what he got paid to do, but it would be nice to go on a date sometimes. .. . she missed out on the couple type activities, thanks to being a Rock Star, and because she didn’t have a good record in getting a boyfriend in the first place. So she would just have to settle for the hotel for now .. . maybe she would ask Shaant if he wanted to hang out at the mall afterwards, until it was time for her to meet up with her sister. That is, if she got the guts to actually ask him. She’d have to do it in person, though. Not by phone. So she ended up telling him that she needed to go, that way she would be able to see him faster, and ask him what was on her mind, at least a part of what was on her mind.

However, she found herself not able to just say bye and hang up. Of course they were going to talk a little bit before they actually hung up. It was helping the fact that she didn’t’ want to get off the phone and say goodbye to him, even if they were about to see each other. ‘God, I really must be pitiful. Who in the world is this weird about saying good-bye to the hired help?’ She thought to herself for a moment before answering Shaant’s question about what he would do if she were to die in a car crash because of them being on the phone. “Well, I’m sure you would survive. I’m only one person. But if you really wanted me to, I could come back as a vampire. Not a ghost, because then I wouldn’t be able to bite you.” She joked with a grin before deciding that they really needed to get off of the phone. She didn’t want to joke about dying in a car crash, for fear of it actually happening. So she said her goodbyes and reluctantly hung up the phone.

When she finally did get to Shaant’s apartment complex, she started over-thinking the situation and becoming worrisome. She’d been sitting there for five minutes, and he wasn’t there yet?! What if he was just screwing with her head? What if he had just told her that he would meet her outside, and gone off to meet with another client? He didn’t have an obligation to meet with her and keep her company, she would just really like it if he did. But all of her worries went away once she looked out her window and saw Shaant standing there for a moment, looking across the parking lot. A smile almost immediately spread across her face, ALMOST immediately, because she was double checking to make sure there were no stalkerazzi. Thankfully the only person outside and in view was Shaant. Xan really felt the urge to get out of the car and give him a hug . . but . . .well, she didn’t think that was such a good idea. One, because it would attract attention and two, because it was behavior of a girlfriend, and she wasn’t going to hug him unless he did it first.

When he got into the car, she smiled at him then glared slightly as she hugged him back. Hey, no fair. You get to come up with cute nicknames for me, and I can’t do the same for you? Do you know how hard it is to make up nicknames for ‘Shaant’? The only one I can think of would be your drag queen name.” She joked before he kissed her cheek and whispered in her ear. She grinned at him, but then pouted slightly as he pulled away and sat back in his sat. “There better be more! But you need to get back over here, mister.” She said as she turned sideways in her seat and pulled Shaant forward by tugging onto his tie. When he was close enough, she kissed him on the lips then looked down at the tie that was now wrapped around her hands. “Now we can go. And I really like this tie. You should wear it more often.” She let him go then sat back in her own seat, leaning back and looking at him. She was wondering if now would be a good time to ask him about the mall later? No. . .not yet. She’d ask him once they got to the hotel!

She smiled at his question, but she didn’t answer because she didn’t need to. They both knew where they were going, anyway. All they had to do was get there, hopefully without attracting any attention. They, thankfully, hadn’t told the press they were taking their break in their hometown, but word always seemed to get out somehow. Xandria faced forward as she started the car again and pulled out of the parking lot and started driving to the hotel that wasn’t that far from Shaant’s place. “Sooo. I have a question.” She stated as she parked outside the hotel. “After we finish here, can we really go to the mall? Sounded like a good idea to me. We don’t have to dress as Drag King’s and Queen’s, but we would probably need disguises. And we could get lunch and goof off and . . .” She cut herself off because she thought she sounded really stupid . . . he wouldn’t want to go with her anywhere than in the bed. “Well we don’t have to, but . . . . yeah.” She decided then to just shut up. Even if she couldn’t explain why she wanted to go someplace with him, he’d answer her anyway; she was really hoping for a yes. Xan got out of the car and went to Shaant’s side, waiting for him to get out. When he did, she grabbed his hand without thinking about it as she locked the car door, looking at him with a smile. “So, what kind of room do you want?”

"You know you leave me breathless,
when you fall into my eyes.
My heart belongs to you, my angel.
There's just no reason,
for you to let life bring you down.
Please come with me,
and let me show you. "

Addie wasn't sure about going over to her boyfriends' house in a few minutes like she was supposed to be doing. Of course, she couldn't necessarily just not go. One, because he was picking her up, and two, because she loved him too much to stand him up and just sit in her room doing things she shouldn't be trying. That's right, she must have really loved her boyfriend if that meant giving up the chance to score the finest cocaine in the city. Which is what she was doing, right at that very moment. She'd found herself growing a like for the drug when she'd gone to a party with her and her boyfriends band. And because rock stars are infamous for drug usage and partying . . well, Addie had thought that it was a good idea to get a taste of the drug world. It wasn't hard to convince her to do this particular thing, because well . . she was a sucker for certain things, and quite gullible. At least when it came to alcohol and drugs. She already had an addiction to smoking cigarettes, and they didn't appear to be all that harmful, so why not try a little cocaine?

If only it was as easy for her to be convinced to have sex with her boyfriend, at least she was sure Ryle would be thinking the same thing if he knew about her new addiction. IF he knew? She honestly didn't know whether or not he knew . . because she hadn't told him, but they were so close that he was sure to notice something was up. How could he not notice when she was high around him, even though she really tried not to get high before seeing him. It just wasn't that easy, though. Her 'little' bit of cocaine at the party had soon turned into much more than a little bit. And she had to admit that she loved the substance. It wasn't nearly as bad as people had warned her that it was. Sure, she spent a little bit too much money obtaining the stuff, but her parents and herself were loaded with what she needed to buy what she wanted. At this moment in time, however, she did NOT want to buy any. For a semi-addict, she sure did have her priorities straight, at least most of the time she did.

Why do I say semi-addict? Because obviously she isn't addicted enough to just say '******** everyone else, I'm getting high right now' and blow off everyone to get high. That's why she told herself that everything was fine. Addie was in denial that she was on the road to a bad addiction. With Ryle by her side, she couldn't get any worse, and wouldn't let drugs be the center of her universe, simple as that. And this was proven by what she was doing right at this very moment. Her older brother was visiting from college, and he'd come to her room to tell her that some dude named Brady was here. 's**t!' She cursed to herself as she peered out the window to see her coke dealer standing outside the door to her house. "Tell him I can't come down. I'm. . uh. . . I'm sick! Yeah, I'm on my period with massive cramps and uhhh. I'm throwing up. GO, get him to leave." She said to her brother, who was looking at her with the weirdest expression, not understanding a single word that came out of her mouth. She may have been in the mood for a fix, but she had to put it aside for later, when she wasn’t planning anything with her boyfriend, and a guy she loved very very much. She just hoped that Brady actually listened to her brother and left.

He wasn’t a really violent person, but he WAS very persistent. If she told him that she wasn’t looking to buy, he would stick around and bug her, or convince her to buy in bulk, until she did just that. But her brother was a pretty big guy, bigger than Brady at least, and hopefully he would just leave and she could deal with him another day. Thankfully, after watching the window for a moment, Brady left. He was pretty pissed, and almost knocked down their mail-box, but left nonetheless. And just when Addie thought that she was in the clear, and was turning back so that she could get dressed for her date with Ryle, her brother spoke up, causing her to jump. “So, who was that? I thought Ryle was your boyfriend. . .” Addie glared at her brother for scaring her, then pulled out some clothes that she wanted to wear, said clothing being a mini-skirt, fish-nets, and a slim-fit tank-top style band t-shirt. You would think that she’d look totally slutty wearing this type of outfit, but she didn’t. Mostly because she had an air of innocence about her, but also because wearing short skirts was normal with her. She WAS a cheerleader after all. Mini-skirts were the required uniform, and to her knowledge, Ryle really liked it when she wore mini-skirts.

“Ryle IS my boyfriend, jerk! And that was. ..a .. uh, friend! Yah, totally a friend. I just don’t want to see him at the moment. I’m kinda about to go out with Ryle ya know?” Her brother didn’t seemed convinced, although she prayed to God that he wouldn’t try to get a real answer out of her. She was really close with her brother, even if he was significantly older, and she would most likely snap and tell him what was going on if he really pushed her for an answer. But she didn’t want him to know that she was into crack, because then he would get all worried and protective, and give her a lecture. He’d do what her parents should have been doing. And while it was nice at times, right now, not so much. “A friend? So why did he b***h, moan, and complain about his best client not coming through for him?” Addie paused, folding her clothes over her arm, struggling and trying to come up with something she could say that wasn’t total bullshit and would get him off of her case. However, she was having a pretty hard time of doing this . . . and finally decided on the ‘Addie’ thing to do. The ‘Addie’ thing to do was what anyone would expect her to do, only because she was a very over-dramatic and illogical person when she wanted to be. She was actually a very very bright girl, and had pretty good grades, but when she didn’t want something to happen, or really wanted something to happen, then the way she went about doing things was . . well, it was silly. But she was loved for her behavior, nonetheless.

“Um, that would be because . . . . Mind your own business Aiden! Who I am friends with has nothing to do with you! You should go downstairs and . . . feed the cat!” She exclaimed, pushing her elder brother out of her room, and locking the door behind her. Did they have a cat that needed to be fed? No, not at all.But hey, it got her brother out of her room, didn’t it?! It did, and that was her goal. She knew she’d hear from him later as well, but nothing else mattered at the moment but Ryle. Who would be here any second. Addie was able to get dressed pretty quickly, and because she knew that they weren’t going anywhere too special, just his house, unless he surprised her, she didn’t put on much make-up. Just a bit of eye-liner. She pulled on her worn-out converse just as she heard the familiar sound of Ryle’s car, and him knocking on the door of the house. Just hearing him knock made her giddy. She couldn’t believe that she and him were together, as she’d never thought it was possible. At least, back when they were merely best friends, she hadn’t. But it turned out that Ryle had loved her too, and so . . . here they were. Addie passed her brother on her way out; naturally he started questioning her about Brady again, but she just ignored him and told him she’d be back when she was back. He didn’t like that answer. Being the overprotective brother, he didn’t want anything happening between his sister and her boyfriend.

Now, Aiden liked Ryle, but that still didn’t change the fact that he would bust a cap in his a** if he found out Ryle popped his sister’s cherry. Which meant Ryle was safe. Because of Addie’s stubbornness, they hadn’t had sex yet. Also because she was scared about various things, but Ryle never pressured her too much about it. When she would stay the night sometimes, because his mothers didn’t really care, of course they’d start kissing and he’d ask . . . but she was always an evil little b***h and made him keep his boner instead of getting rid of it with her help. Well, at least not by putting it in her. No one ever said she didn’t help with her hands. Either way, her brother wouldn’t be very happy about that. But he didn’t have to worry about anything, because she wasn’t planning on giving in today. A smile spread across her lips as she walked out of the front door and saw Ryle standing there. “Hey.” She said simply, then gave him a kiss in addition to her hello. Yes, an actual kiss. A kiss that made her brother open the door and go “Break it up until you are out of my sight!” Addie pulled away from Ryle and stuck her tongue out at her brother. What could she say, she missed him, even if it had only been a day since she’d seen him! “Pay no attention to the man behind the door, Ryle. He’s just a figment of your imagination.” She joked as she walked with him to his car, then got in, giving him a simple and sweet kiss on the lips.

The ride to his house was nice . . it wasn’t filled with a whole bunch of useless chatter, maybe they’d talk some, but it was mostly just whatever music that Ryle had playing at the time. Thankfully they were comfortable enough with each other, as they had been since they’d become best friends so long ago, that there wasn’t any type of awkward silence. She was perfectly okay with just being there with him . . . although it would be even better if she could do something else. Though, she was pretty sure if she started kissing his neck while he drove that he’d crash the car. Let’s just say that every single thing she did had an effect on his sex drive, or at least that’s how she thought of it. She just knew that he was a very perverted person . . . and of course that she loved him for it. But oh well .. she could kiss him later. She was sure that when they got to his house, they would head down to the basement, which was also where he practically lived, and do whatever they felt the need to do. Actually, Addie wanted to watch a movie, but knowing Ryle, watching a movie he wanted her to see wasn’t his only plan.

“Before we do anything . . . I want to say hi to Lindsey and Micah! And . . . snag some hot cheetos from your pantry.” She told him as they got out of the car and walked inside his house, hand in hand. She was going to go look for Lindsey and Micah, who were Ryle’s mothers, but they didn’t have to. His parents were in the kitchen, no doubt preparing dinner, even if it was too early for that. “Good afternooooon.” Addie said dropping Ryle’s hand and giving each of his mothers a hug. She really really liked them, and didn’t really care all that much that they were lesbians. As a matter of fact, Addie wished she could help them get married, but unfortunately, gay marriages weren’t possible. Either way, she loved them. They were kind of like substitutes for her own parents, who were never around. They weren’t rude or mean, and they set Addie straight when she smoked cigarettes in their house. It was nice, even if she was pretty peeved that she had to go outside to smoke. “Good afternoon to you too, Addie. You two up to no good?” Micah asked her as she found a pack of hot cheetos. “SCORE!” She said with a cheesy grin as she opened the bag and ate one of the things. “Up to no good?! Never. Ryle’s been bugging me about watching some movie. I am giving in and decided to watch it with him. And I wanted to steal his couch, because my brother is home and is being nosy.” Addie was a good kid for the most part . . . so it was obvious that she was telling the truth. Though the stealing his couch statement may have been a bit suspicious. Anyone but Addie would have been able to tell that she wasn’t over for a movie, though. “Unless Ryle had something else planned?” She said, the statement ending as a question as she looked over to her boyfriend.

Suddenly Zee wished that she hadn't had the need to come to the store. She suddenly wished that she was rich like she used to be, and that she lived in the nice large house that she used to, with its endless supply of food. But she knew that she didn't have the amount of money that she needed anymore, her parents would not condone a child at this young age without her being married; they couldn't afford to ruin their families image. This was why she was here at the grocery store, with only just enough money to scramble up food for dinner, with her kid. However if she hadn't needed to come today, if Skylar had just picked another day to tell her mother that she wanted something specific to eat, then none of this would be happening. Zee's emotions wouldn't be going off the charts, at least in her head, and she wouldn't be suckered into doing something that she wasn't so sure about doing, by her three year old daughter, no less. Alright, so it wasn’t that she didn’t want to have dinner with Iden and his family, it was just that it was going to be . . well, it was going to be extremely awkward.

Not only did Iden's mother not like Zee, as one could very well tell by her rude behavior towards Zee when she had gone to Iden's house years ago to find him, but . . . well, things were just weird between Zee and Iden. Did he expect them to be friends again, after all this had happened? Was that night just nothing to him. . .? Did he not remember it at all? Zee didn't know how she was going to deal with sitting at a table with him and his mother, quite possibly his sister as well, not to mention with her daughter! That was just a recipe for disaster. Iden's family most likely knew about Zee having a kid, but if she ate dinner at his house, they would realize that Skylar was his kid. That, and Skylar didn't exactly know when to not ask questions. Maybe if . . . . maybe if Iden had just kept in touch with her, then she would feel better about the whole thing. Sure, he wouldn't be with her like she wanted him to, but at least she would have known that he at least cared about her to some degree. That, and he would already have known about Skylar, and knowing the old Iden, he would have come back. At least that was what she was telling herself. To be honest, she wasn't all that sure anymore.

Skylar however was oblivious to the chaos that was going on in her mother's mind while she was over trying to grab hold of Mr. Giant's buggy, and especially when he finally picked her up. She was enthused that he'd actually done it! She didn't think he would . . . none of the guys mommy hung out with, besides Uncle Jakey, had ever even dared to be around her for too long. But not Mr. Giant, no no no. He was different than all the other guys, even the little three year old could tell this, which was just a damned shame. Sky giggled in delight as she was lifted from the ground and held, perched on Mr. Giant's hip. She looked down at the ground and widened her eyes. She was really far off the ground! What if she was dropped!? Then mommy would get mad at her. To make sure that she didn't fall, the smart girl wrapped her arms around Mr. Giants' neck and smiled. "Yayyyyy you picked me upppp! And not THIS high! But mommy almost picks me up this high. Mommy is verrrry tall. But she isn't as giant as you are!" One could already tell that Sky was going to be a troublesome child, what with her love for adrenaline rushes. She was only three, and already had a love of heights. If Zee could, she would take her daughter somewhere that she could have fun with it, but unfortunately they didn't have the funds.

The little girl did not see her mothers appalled look when she suddenly blurted out her thoughts of Mr. Giant being her new Daddy, because she was too busy enjoying being held. Yeah, she was spoiled and loved it when someone picked her up. In fact, she threw fits when someone put her down because she didn't like it. Mommy always told her that she needed to learn to walk on her own all the time if she was going to be a big kid, but Skylar was as stubborn as her mother. She wouldn't give up being held until she was too big for it! But the fact of the matter was, Zee had no clue what to do. Her daughter wanted to know if Iden could be her dad. . . .when he really was her dad whether she knew it or not. Zee was going to have to tell Sky that Iden was her dad, but she couldn't just tell her right here and now. She wasn't going to tell her who her father was, only for him to leave again. Because he was going to leave, wasn't he?

Iden had no reason to stay here. . . well, yeah, he had told her that he cared for her, but he was only here for a visit. And not even a visit to see her but a visit to see his mother. So she wasn't going to break her little girls' heart. But Sky was looking at her, waiting for an answer, and she had no clue what answer she could give. She was still stuck on Skylar saying that Iden looked at her like other guys did . . before they found out she had a kid. She wanted to believe that it was true that he had a reason to look at her like that . . but she didn't see him looking at her in that way, although that may have been because she was trying her damnedest to avoid his eyes. He couldn't be looking at her with compassion and love, because all she'd ever done was . . . be his friend for so many years, and then take advantage of him. Everything was her fault, and Iden was just here to say hello to his mother, as well as bump into her, and then go back to wherever was more important than Zee herself. And his kid. Although she couldn't make herself think that he would just leave them hanging without any type of help. He was after all offering them a free meal and a ride.

Zee could see that Iden didn't know quite how to respond either. It was probably just a little bit awkward and . . . if Zee was in Iden's situation she wouldn't know how to act anyway. Truth was, whether or not Iden could be Sky's 'new daddy' was not up to her. Of course she was going to think it was perfectly fine. She wanted nothing more than to be with Iden and have a family. But if Iden didn't want it . . .then she couldn't convince him to. "Uh. Ummm. How about you ask me again after dinner sweetie? Don't you want to see if Mr. Giants' cooking is any good before you ask him to be your new Dad?" Zee was just trying anything she could to get her daughter to move on to another subject . . .one that didn't make her want to grab her daughter and run away out of fear that Sky would get attached to someone that could leave and never come back. "Ohhhh good idea mommyyy! My Daddy has to be an excellent cook! Mr.Giant, can you coooook?!" Zee bit back a smile at her daughter's quick change in topics, but she was glad that the subject had been changed from Daddy's to food. Yeah, she had said something about 'her daddy' but Zee could tell that her daughter's mind was not on that issue any longer.

"Sky baby, calm down. Iden's cooking isn't THAT special. His cooking barely surpasses mine." She said joking at her daughter. Of course, Zee loved Iden's cooking. He was the only male in the world that she knew of that could actually cook. But she COULD cook better, but as she said, only a little. Besides, she was only joking; trying to lighten the mood. "I bet it issss!" Said Sky glaring cutely at her mother. "Maybe it is. Depends on what is being made for dinner." She said to Iden and Sky with a small smile. She didn't want to stay like she was being, all sad and depressive. If anything, she SHOULD be happy that Iden was back. They'd get the chance to talk at dinner, right? Just then she heard the sound of a song, a very familiar song at that, and noticed that Iden's phone was ringing. As he answered, she kind of wondered who it was that he was talking about staying over for dinner . . but she didn't have to try and guess, because she soon heard the name of his sister. Zee liked Iden's sister, and she was sure that Trinity liked her a lot better than his mother did.

"Oh . .. no I don't mind. I like Trinity. She's nice. At least . . . " She was going to say that Trinity was nicer to her about Sky than Iden's mother . . . but Iden didn't know that Trinity knew about Sky, did he? Obviously not, since he looked shocked when he'd first looked into Skylar's eyes. Zee just left her sentence hanging, and hopefully Iden didn't ask about it. "Well. Since we are eating at your house . . .and you are giving us a ride. .. I guess we can stay and shop . . together." She wasn't so sure how this was going to turn out, what with the awkwardness of the situation, but at least they would be together and . . . Iden wouldn't be off elsewhere forgetting that she even existed. At least he wanted to be around her, whereas she previously had thought that he wanted nothing to do with her. "Sky, you comfortable up there?" She asked her daughter, realizing that Sky was really comfortable. There weren't words to express how much she cared for her daughter. A few people had asked her if Sky was a so-called 'Burden'. But of course she never would be. Sky was amazing. She was literally the best thing that had ever happened to her, even though it was a little hard to keep food in their stomachs.

"Yess mommmyyyyy. I ammmm. Mr. Giant, you gatsa hold me the WHOLE TIME!" Zee gasped at her daughter, playing with her. "WHAT?! I don't get to hold my baby? You sure you want Mr. Giant to carry you?" When Zee was with her kid, she had a totally different attitude. It was more like she was younger again, and not a mother. She could be hyper and fun when she was talking with Sky, because she didn't need to be serious with her daughter. It was just with other people that it was hard to be happy with and around. "Mommmyyy. You can hold me laterrrrr. Give me a kiss so you don't get sad that Mr. Giant is holding me!" After all, Sky thought kisses made everything better. Zee didn't feel embarrassed or uncomfortable at all, having to move closer to Iden so she could give her daughter a peck on the cheek. For a moment, she wished that she could wrap her arms around the both of them and pretend just for a second that things were the way they should be. But of course, they weren't. Iden was only holding Sky because she asked him to, and if he didn't she'd throw a fit.

Apparently Iden was making lasagna, one of Zee's favorite dishes. So she helped him gather ingredients. A few times, Iden hadn't been paying any attention at all, and had picked up the wrong ingredients. This kind of made Zee laugh . . . Iden was still the same. He never knew how to pick up what he really needed, he just picked what looked right. So of course Zee found what he did need, and helped pick the cheapest items with the most quality at that. She definitely knew the value of a dollar and how to save money; she kind of needed to on her low funds. She'd managed to get what she and Sky needed for home, too. She was sure Iden might try and pay for her stuff, but when check-out time came, she made sure not to let him get the chance. She held her and Sky's bags as he finished checking out, then walked with him outside. Finally Sky wanted to be let down, claiming that she wanted to help carry bags. "Mommmyyy. I wanna carry the bag with the yogurt! And and and, when we walk home, can you give me a piggy back!" Zee was still intent on walking home . . but Iden wouldn't have it. "No, babe. Iden is giving us a ride. We are putting the stuff up in the fridge, then going to his house for dinner, remember?" "Yayyyyy" Exclaimed Sky, running around in circles around Zee's legs, after being let down of course.

She sighed and looked over to Iden. "You sure about this? I don't have to come over for dinner. . . . and you don't NEED to give us a ride . . ."

The Halloween parties in the city of Miami, Florida were always legendary. After all, who wouldn't want to have a party on the beautiful beach? Alexi had been psyched for this party for the longest time. Her boyfriend actually decided he would go with her someplace for once, and that had her thrilled. Well, it made her happy. She and Jesse didn't have the best relationship in the world. They'd been dating for a while, a few years at least, and they had long since passed the lovey-dovey stage. They'd long since discovered that maybe they weren't meant to be like they thought. At least Lexi had. She honestly no longer loved him like she used to back when she was only fifteen. The reasons for this were simple. Jesse was a jerk and a flirt, and he didn't pay attention to her feelings. She'd been wanting to go someplace with him special for the past few weeks, but every time she found a nice restaurant to go out to, or got all dressed up to go someplace that he wanted to go to, something would happen that made them not be able to go out like they had planned. And to be honest, she hated it.

She hated that he would get her excited about going to the movies, then shoot her down by staying that instead they were going to head over to his best friend Avery's house. But she didn't like it for more than just one reason. The first reason was the obvious. Lexi wasn't a fan of being taken to someone else's house for a date that was supposed to happen somewhere special, when all she was going to be was ignored on the date. Not only would Jesse totally disregard the fact that she wanted to be a normal couple and go out somewhere nice and have people go 'Aweee they are so cute together', but he would flirt in front of her and treat her like crap. If she just asked Jesse if he was going to take her home yet, then he would snap and tell her they''d go home when he was ready. And if they were at Ave's house, he'd tell her to go find him something to eat. If they were at his house, he'd tell her she could get a ride with his brother if she was so inclined to leave. And then there was the fact that when he opted out of going someplace that wasn't a house, instead he made her feel like a third wheel and hung out with his friend Avery.

She was [one] bitter because dates were supposed to happen between a boyfriend and a girlfriend and [two] because she would rather have not been near Ave during what was supposed to be a date with her boyfriend. It wasn't that she didn't like him, it was the total opposite. In fact, she liked him maybe a little too much. She would go as far as to say she loved him. He was more like a boyfriend to her than Jesse actually was. He looked out for her, and he was even the person that gave her a ride home when Jesse was being a d**k. It made her feel terrible that she was wishing that her boyfriends' best friend was her boyfriend. That was shitty of her, and she knew it. But she really couldn't help the fact that Ave was so much better than Jesse. . . and the one thing she could do to help, she didn't have the guts to do. No way was she going to break up with the only guy that was ever going to quote-unquote "love" her. There was no guarantee that if she ended it with Jesse, she would get to be with Jesse's best friend. Chances were, Avery didn't like her as more than just his friends' girl anyway. Not only that, but she just couldn't make herself hurt anyone by breaking up with them.

Whether or not Jesse would actually get hurt or not, as she doubted his love for her in the first place, she wasn't going to do it. She was going to stick it out and see if things got better. And last night, she thought that was what was going to happen. They had gotten dressed in costumes together and he actually wanted to go with her, as a couple. She'd spent a lot of time on her outfit, which she had designed herself. It was just a dress, a small dress at that, but it was complex to make. And she went dressed as a sexy vampiress, Jesse her victim. Cliche? Yes, but she'd had fun making her costume, so it was all worth it. At least, it was worth it until a few hours into the party. They'd arrived fashionably late, and after only a few dances and talking with each other. . . the night went downhill. Jesse decided it would be a good idea to dance with someone ELSE. But he told her that it was only a friend that needed to be cheered up with a dance for some reason or another. So . . . well, Lex believed him.

You see, Lexi had the really bad habit of believing what people told her, unless she knew for sure otherwise. Not in the sense that she was stupid, and would believe that the moon was made out of cheese, but like . . if a person told her that they loved her she believed them. At least, if Jesse told her anything, like reassuring her that things were okay even if they weren't, she believed him. She just didn't like not trusting people. But that night she learned that it wasn't a good idea to trust even those you love. Because Lex loved parties, of course she started drinking. But before she got plastered, she went to find Jesse and tell him that he needed to take her home. That was when things turned nasty. Because she was drunk, her emotions were intensified. She stumbled through the sand of the beach to the place that she'd last seen Jesse .. and found him with another girl. The same girl that he had said he was dancing with just to cheer her up. And they weren't just sitting and talking, oh no. They were having a full-on make out session. So naturally Lexi pulled the chick off of him and yelled at him.

The thing that really made her mad was that he had no remorse for doing it. He wasn't even drunk, so he had no excuse. And apparently they had been seeing each other for a few weeks. So Lexi just snapped and after angry words, she told Jesse it was over. He said '******** you' and left her all alone. Thankfully, though, her house wasn't TOO far away. It was a mile down the beach, in the beach house she lived in. She remembered drinking a lot more after Jesse had left. . . and she remembered Avery talking to her. She didn't know if he was drunk or not, but she remembered loving him at the time, but only because he offered to walk her home. On their way to her house. . . .she really started getting emotional. She was crying, blubbering about how stupid she was not to know that she was being cheated on. And also because now she didn't have anyone. She was sad because the night hadn't turned out at all like she had wanted it to.

This was where everything really changed. . . whether for the worse or the best had yet to be determined. It starts this fateful morning. Lex woke up fairly early to nothing at all. She normally woke up at around six anyway, to get ready for school and what-not. Although, it sort of was a weekend. And she would have dropped back to sleep . . . that is if it wasn't for the fact that she wasn't in bed alone. She hadn't opened her eyes just yet, but she could feel her head resting against someone's chest . . . and she could also feel that she was naked. In addition . ..she could feel the pounding in her head. And she was dreading opening her eyes to see what was going on. Probably nothing too bad right? She'd just had sex with her boyfriend after the party last night, that was all. Though at that point, her eyes shot open. Suddenly a few select memories came rushing to her head. She couldn't have slept with Jesse, because she'd broken up with him the previous night. But everything else was a blur. She stared vaguely at a random spot in the ceiling trying to remember before she turned her head to face the person she was cuddling up to.

To be honest, she was scared of looking to see who was next to her. What if it was some total creep? It didn't take long for her to remember, though. She recapped the night in her head for a moment, then flickers of images started going through her mind. "Ave?" She asked astonished as she looked up to the person she was clinging to. "Oh s**t." She commented to herself, seeing the cerulean blue hair close to her face. NOW she remembered what had happened. She'd been crying . . and they'd gotten home . . . and then they were drinking more ... and then they were in her room and . . . . . Oh no. She could not believe that she'd just had sex with her ex boyfriends best friend. Well . . . it wasn't a bad thing was it? She was single. . . and he was. Well. Was Avery single? Honestly she had no clue. But she did like him and . . . .s**t.

This was going to be so awkward. She had a crush on a guy she shouldn't, then slept with him. But wait! Maybe this was all a dream! Yeah! That was it, none of this was real! If she just closed her eyes for a moment, she would open them and none of this would be real! And so she did it. She took a deep breath and laid her head back down on Ave's chest for just a moment. At that point, she pretty much gave up on believing it was just a dream. Ave's skin was just so warm . . .and soft and . . . She opened her eyes and he was still there. To be honest . . .she had no clue what to do. Wake him up? No . . .. he looked too peaceful to wake up. But . . . sooner or later he was going to wake up. And when he did . . . .well, what was going to happen then? Lex was silent as she pulled away from Ave, pulling the blanket up to cover her chest. Then she felt her cell phone in the bed, stuck to her sweaty leg. She flipped it open and saw 10 texts from Jesse, all asking for her to forgive him. Lex swallowed the lump in her throat and closed her eyes once more, hoping that when they opened, she wouldn't be naked with sex hair, Ave wouldn't be in her bed, and she wouldn't want to go back to cuddling with the blue haired boy.

The thing Aislinn hated the most was how stubborn Mitch could be, and how much he could confuse her. She definitely felt a spark between them, and knew that Mitch felt it, too. He just wouldn't give in and actually show that he felt it. This resulted in the confusion. Did he love her or not? Was she just his best friends' kid sister, or someone that he could possibly see himself having kids with in the future? She wished, sometimes, that he would just make up his mind. No . . if he made up his mind, he could choose not to ever think of her as a lover again. She wanted him to just come right out and say 'I love you' and forget her retarded brother. But it didn't look like that was going to happen. He never said the words 'I love you', at least not as of late. It was always 'you're too young' or 'your brother will kill me' or her favorite 'let's close up the store and go home' after they'd even done MORE than just make out. It made no sense at all. If this was so wrong, then why was he always giving in again and again? He wouldn't be coming back to her if they shouldn't be, or he didn't want to be together.

So of course, today's goal was to make him give in. They didn't need to have sex like it sometimes led to, just a kiss was all she wanted. Well, maybe a little more than a simple kiss, but she wanted him to give in in the sense that he would let them talk. They rarely ever just talked, because Mitch never allowed them to have a civilized conversation. It was always him ignoring her, insulting her, ordering her around, and Aislinn trying to get him to do other-wise. So yeah, she wanted to try and get them alone in his office so that they could just talk. . and if things went well it would lead to the dirty thoughts that the both of them were experiencing. She wouldn't be able to take being alone with him in a room and NOT trying to kiss him like she would never get the chance to again. It wouldn't be a proper meeting if she didn't gently push him down into his chair and sit on his lap, maybe even life his shirt up a few inches or. . . well there was no point in imagining what could happen, because he didn't even make a response to her suggestion, but just went on about his business.

But he did make ANOTHER comment, and this one was obviously not meant for her ears, but himself and himself only. Although she did hear and . . . to be honest, it perked her interest. She was kind of satisfied, because that at least told her that her actions were getting to him. And that he was only being so difficult because he didn't want to act on his urges. But she needed to get him to crack at least just a little bit, and maybe she could with this new found information. She definitely did TRY to do so . . . but failed epically. His response really hurt her feelings, too. It kind of felt like someone had shot a spiked arrow through her chest and then ripped it out, because he thought she would go as low as to work at Hooters, where people aren't known by their names on their name tags, but the size of their chest. She didn't understand why he had to be so mean about it. If he really didn't want her like he made it seem at times with his harsh words, then couldn't he just say so rather than rubbing salt on her wounds and making her seem like a big slut? That was exactly what he was doing at the moment, and it didn't seem like he loved her at all. Was that what he wanted her to think? She certainly felt like just giving up on her attempts for the day, after that.

Altho9ugh after thinking it over, Aislinn decided NOT to give up. Yeah, she kind of had a problem of not knowing how to make up her mind. Her decisions constantly changed, and it only took a split second for her to make up her mind to do something else. Aislinn didn't say anythi8ng to him about his Hooter's comment, and she certainly did not show that the statement had hurt her feelings. At least she didn't think she was . . she just didn't want to show any types of weakness.Although maybe if she started crying she could make him feel bad...? But instead, she said something to herself about his inability to remember his own birthday. She really wanted to find out if he knew when her birthday was, but she didn't really need to. Judging by his actions, eitehr he didn't know or he just didn't care. She desperately hoped it was that he didn't know, although that wasn't necessarily a good thing either. If he just didn't care . . she didn't know what she would do. Because her eighteenth birthday meant everything to her. Granted, she could just TELL him that her birthday was tomorrow, but then that wouldn't let her know what she needed to know. She loved him and had wasted many years stressing over him and trying to get him back, and she needed to know if he loved her as much as she did. If he didn't . . well then there wasn't even a point in flirting with costumers. Screw that, if she couldn't have Mitch then she didn't want anyone else.

Why she felt so strongly about Mitch, Aislinn did not know for sure.Who knew why they loved a person exactly, anyway? She'd never sat down and just listed all the reasons that she adored Mitch, and she wasn't going to unless she was asked to spell it out for someone. She thought it should be enough that she wanted to be with him in the first place. But it could have been that he was a really sweet guy, even if he wasn't so much at the moment. But back when he was only seventeen, he had been a really good friend. He was funny and made her smile a lot. She didn't know why all of this was happening, she just knew that when she was around Mitch her stomach fluttered and she just . . . . she just liked being around him. Even when he was being completely rude, she still wanted to be near him. Though it was extremely difficult to love a person that seemed to do nothing but hate you. However, thankfully, Aislinn was a pro at fighting emotions, so she made herself flirt with Craig and brought him in on her plan, going into the closet with him.

Of course, they did nothing. Not only did she not want to screw around with her friend, but in all honesty she was tired. She was tired of having to flirt with other guys and tempt and taunt Mitch just to get any type of attention from him. She had to do it just to get rude remarks. She wanted him to just stop being so paranoid and just do what she wanted him to do. No, she didn't want to control him, she wanted him to love her that was all. Her brother . . . she knew that he could get over it, Yes, he would probably be bitter towards Mitch at first. But it would make Aislinn happy, and once Aiden saw that his sister was genuinely happy, he would have no problem with it. At least, that was Aislinn's take on the situation. Mitch was being stupid about it, and not even giving them a chance. Aislinn told herself to stop thinking so much about it, as she was in the supply closet because if she didn't, then she wasn't going to be very positive for the rest of the day.

Craig's goofing off and telling corny jokes cheered her up, however. So when she left the closet, she was feeling confident in her ability again. The smallest things made Aislinn's mood soar, and that was a good thing and a bad thing. A good thing, because it didn't take much to cheer her up. If she was mad at her brother, all he'd have to do is go over to her apartment and give her a hug, poke her shoulder, and make a crappy joke and apologize. But the downside was that just as it took a little to cheer her up, it only took a little to put her down too. Aislinn wasn't surprised that Mitch was standing outside the door to the supply closet, she was actually expecting it. He hadn't come inside to see what was going on, though, which kind of sucked. She could see that it had had some sort of effect on him though, judging by the way he was standing there with his arms crossed, and glaring like crazy. She needed to try harder to get him to snap. Harder how, though? Well, she wanted to just walk up to him and plant a kiss on him, but that wasn't going to end very well. He needed to be the one that gave in. So instead of pulling him closer like she wanted, she asked him a few questions . . . and rolled her eyes at his replies to them.

She rolled her eyes AND glared. She did not want him to be acting like this for the rest of the day, like her boss and nothing but her boss. His comment on spying sounded like something her brother would say, and hearing those words come from his mouth kind of aggravated her. It was her stupid brother's fault that this was happening. If Aiden had never scared the crap out of Mitch when he had caught them kissing, then she and Mitch would probably be okay now. And Mitch wouldn't be pulling this official bullcrap on her. "Mitch, please. Don't act like you are all high and mighty because you're my 'boss'. You know as well as I do that we don't follow the policy, and I don't really have to, at that. Is it MY fault that what I do goes against this so-called policy?" She crossed her arms as well, mimicking him. It was Mitch's fault that she did all of these things she knew her brother wouldn't agree with. If he would just talk to her and . . . not be this way, they could have a normal relationship and wouldn't have to act this way. "You're acting like my brother, and you are DEFINITELY not Aiden." She shuddered at the thought . . . that would just be creepy, and incest? Totally not her thing.

And then Mitch told her that he wanted to see her in his office. Now. She felt like being stubborn, and just standing there with her arms crossed . . . but wasn't this exactly what she had wanted? To be in his office alone with him? Yeah, but not under this condition. She huffed and made a comment. "You can't tell me to go into your office. I go when I want to go." Childish much? As she started walking towards his office, saying "And I want to go now" she definitely was. But then again, it wasn't anything new. At times, she could be just as childish as a three year old. Thankfully, on other occasions, she was more mature than the age that people THOUGHT she was. When she got into his office, he immediately went to sit on his desk. She felt like laughing. Not a 'ha ha' laugh, but a nervous laughter, like one you would hear from a person that was about to be caught for murder by cops. She didn't let the laughter slip, though. It was obvious that Mitch wanted to talk to her about something. And because talking was what she had been wanting to do for the longest time, she pulled the wheeled chair that was behind his desk in front of the desk and sat down, with a cautious yet angry expression on her face.

Listening to what he had to say made her throat tighten and close. She couldn't believe that he was saying this. Any of it, really. She waited for him to finish telling her why he'd pulled her into the room to say anything back, mostly because things were NOT turning out how she thought they would. "I'm not WORTH risking anything for?" she asked in an angry tone. That is exactly how it had sounded to her, and he fact that she wouldn't be jail bait for much longer added to the emotions that she was feeling. "You don't think I'm risking things either? . . . And no we can't do this much longer." By 'this' she meant all this madness that was going on in Canden's. Yes, she would admit that what she was doing fell under the category of madness, but she was doing it for a good reason. At his comment on Aiden having his sack, she stopped twisting the chair from side to side and sat still. That was something that bugged her. She definitely didn't know what her brother would do, but she knew him well enough to know what he wouldn't do. "Ha. Mitch, you have no idea what Aiden would 'have' because you're too much of a baby to see and find out. And you know damn well that we cannot just be acquaintances." Just the thought of them acting like they didn't have feelings for each other made her grimace. Why do you think she hadn't been acting like that in the first place?

"Are you serious? Mitch stop lying to yourself, WE look like a good couple. Why the hell would I NOT want to ruin it with you?" She honestly had no clue why Mitch would think that she didn't want to ruin everything she possible could to be with him. Did he not get that she loved him more than words could explain? . . . That had to be it. Because there was a tinge of sadness to his voice when he asked that question. She just didn't know how to explain to him why, and she didn't think that she had to. "I shouldn't have to spell it out for you, Mitch. Can't you just accept the fact that I would rather be with you than anyone else, and not be a b***h about it?" She asked him. Of course, because she was so aggravated at him, it didn't come out like she wanted it to, and to be honest, she wasn't sure that she cared at the moment. If Mitch acted this way every single time they talked to each other, then she could do it too.

Despite the fact that Addie really really loved her older brother, sometimes she wished he would let her be. At least when he was home visiting. When he was out of state attending college, she talked to him everyday. Her relationship with her brother was really good compared to the relationship with her own parents, and she liked that. Although when he happened to visit, he was a little too protective for Addie's tastes. She appreciated the fact that he didn't want anything bad to happen to her, and only wanted the best for her, but that did not mean he had to keep a hawk's eye on her when Ryle came around. Ryle wasn't going to suddenly punch her out of nowhere, and they all knew that. So Addie did what she did best. Object to and blow off what people wanted that she didn't like. If Aiden was going to watch outside the window to make sure that she and Ryle weren't doing anything, then she was going to do the exact opposite of what he didn't want. Which of course led to the lip-lock that the two were in once Addie answered the door.

She took a quick glance at what he was wearing, appraising the style that she loved so much worn by the man she loved so much, then immediately after she wrapped her arms around him so she could kiss him. And of course her brother was going to object, which he did so. But because she didn't particularly care that her brother didn't want to see his little sister plan tonsil hockey with someone, she continued to kiss Ryle, holding up her middle finger towards her brother before pulling away and sticking out her tongue. Who was he to tell her she couldn't kiss her boyfriend?! Just her brother, and not her father. Though . . she was a little scared that Aiden was going to take a baseball bat to Ryle's balls, so she made sure they got out of there quick. Aiden only liked Ryle when his hands weren't on his sister. . . . or anything IN his sister.

The ride to Ryle's house wasn't filled with talking for the same reason Ryle thought it wasn't. Addie didn't like small talk, just as much as Ryle didn't like small talk. There was no point in it, because typically the stuff was only used to fill awkward silences. None of their silences were awkward, because they had more chemistry than a fricken chemistry book did. Besides, Addie didn't feel like talking all that much at the moment. She was too busy listening to the music that was playing, and being happy that she was just in the same car with Ryle, rather then at her house away from him. Not to mention . . . well, she was a little bit worried. She and Ryle were going to be spending the rest of the day together, and the night too. They couldn't just be watching movies the whole time. One, she knew Ryle wasn't one for watching movies when they were together, and two, she would get very bored of watching movies. . . really really quickly.

Addie and Ryle made such a good couple not only because they had been best friends for years and years beforehand, but because they were both hyperactive. Ryle was probably just about the only person in the world besides her brother that could deal with the way she acted sometimes. She just didn't know how to sit still for more than thirty minutes, which was a good and a bad thing. It was a bad thing because that meant it was hard for her to concentrate. It was a bad thing because on those few occasions where she and Ryle would get into arguments, all he had to do was kiss her on the neck and she would forget her argument just like that. She couldn't really focus on more than one thing at once. Yeah, most girls were big on multi-tasking, but if Addie didn't do things one at a time she would never get anything at all accomplished. Yet it was good on the same note, because . . . well Ryle seemed to get a kick out of it. Besides . . if she wanted to do something that he wasn't too fond of, she would get tired of it pretty quickly. Such as watching movies. Because watching a movie was exactly what she had planned on doing after she got her hot cheetos in Ryle's kitchen, for as long as she could take it.

As afore mentioned, it wasn't that Addie didn't want to have sex with her boyfriend. She was just a little bit unsure about it. Mainly because if her brother found out it would be "off with his head" and not the head that had eyes and a mouth, either. Her other reasons . . . well she really hadn't thought about it all that much. Maybe she was afraid of being embarrassed. Because Ryle was a lot more experienced than she was in that area. She was still a virgin, and she was afraid that if they had sex then their relationship would go in the gutter. Most of her friends that had sex with their boyfriends or girlfriends broke up with them shortly after. And while she didn't think that would happen with Ryle per se, she didn't want to even make the possibility of it happening available. Not to mention . . . when Ryle mentioned them having sex, they were in his basement. Which meant that his mothers were in the same house, and while she loved them both to death, she wasn't sure she wanted to have sex right under their feet, with the possibility of them hearing the deed. But Addie was just being silly about it. . . or so she thought she was. Basically . . . . while she didn't want to give in to what Ryle wanted, and what she secretly wanted. . . it was inevitable.

Addie was so comfortable in Ryle's house that she didn't even take notice to the fact that she was plundering his kitchen without permission. Granted, she didn't necessarily NEED permission, even if she had she wouldn't have paid it any mind. Lindsey and Micah loved her, and they all knew it, so she was pretty much welcomed to do anything in their house. Especially take hot cheetos, because they knew those were her favorite. After walking ahead of Ryle to greet his parents, she stood close to Ryle and ate her snack of choice while she talked with Lindsey and Micah. When she said that she and Ryle would be watching a movie, she was telling the truth. They hardly ever did anything THAT normal together, it was always some weird yet amazing thing that they did together. Or it was her listening to Ryle play the drums. But they never watched a movie unless they went out to a movie theater. And even then, they didn't watch the movie, but instead made out in the dark. This time however, she was determined to get through a movie with not even a kiss though!

Her eyes rolled too at Ryle's mothers' statements, but for a different reason than why Ryle did it. "Maybe so, but it doesn't matter unless I think his plan is amazingly amazing. We are watching a movie if it kills Ryle!" She said, sticking her tongue out at her boyfriend. But soon, Ryle had her hand and was pulling her off to the basement, obviously tired of her socializing with his parents. "Hey hey hey! Wait a seconddd" She told Ryle, pulling against him so that she could [one] give Micah and Lindsey a kiss on the cheek and [two] grab a bottle of water from the fridge because she wasn't sure if Ryle would appreciate tasting hot cheetos when she decided to give him a kiss later. "Someone is very impatient today." She observed with a smile as the two made it to Ryle's basement. Ahhhh the basement of luuuuuurv, quite literally. It was where Ryle first kissed her and even if she didn't particularly want it to happen, she was sure there were more firsts to come. But she loved that Ryle's room was in the basement. It was. . .cozy.

She dropped Ryle's hands as they made it to his couch, and she slipped off her shoes and set down the bag she had brought with her. "We are, without quotes, watching . . ." Addie walked over to where Ryle had some movies stacked and paused. "definitely not THIS." She frowned at the movie with a naked girl on the cover. Addie WAS the jealous type after all . . . she didn't even like the fact that Ryle had already had sex with girls before her . . and that because she had been his friend before, she had to endure hearing about it. Addie turned to Ryle and pouted, knocking that DVD to the ground, finding a movie that she honestly didn't want to watch at all. However, she grinned at the sight of it. She was intent on watching a movie, and it would be fun if it was a movie that she didn't want to watch. She really liked playing with Ryle, though so . . "This one!" She exclaimed, putting Dawn of the Dead, the 80's version, in and made sure it was playing before she finally went back to Ryle, who was now sitting on the couch.

"I think you SHOULD watch the movie with me." Addie commented taking a sip of the water she had brought with her as she sat down on the couch next to Ryle, looking at the TV screen. She watched the movie before looking over at Ryle and sticking out her lower lip. "You're no funnn. Can't you just watch one itty bitty movie with me? I'll give you kisses." Addie leaned towards him and gave him a deep kiss then pulled away. It still didn't seem like he was going to want to watch the movie with her though, so she sighed dramatically, "Suit yourself." She said then laid down on her side, using Ryle's lap as a pillow. She couldn't help but make a comment, purposefully, about Ryle's lap though. If he didn't want to cooperate with her wishes and be a good boyfriend . . .well then she was going to make his life a living hell until the movie was over. "You know Ryle . . . I think your lap is a bit too soft to be a pillow . . . I like my pillows to be a little bit harder. Can you fix that?" She asked with a grin, moving in his lap to 'try and get comfortable'.

"You know you leave me breathless,
when you fall into my eyes.
My heart belongs to you, my angel.
There's just no reason,
for you to let life bring you down.
Please come with me,
and let me show you. "

To tell the truth, Addie was just a little bit nervous about going down to the basement with Ryle, for the obvious reason. This was exactly why she was trying to drag out the time and just talk with Lindsey and Micah for a while. If she stayed in the kitchen for a while and just chatted, she could delay the inevitable, just like Ryle knew that she was doing. Something told her that she was going to be losing her virginity here very soon . . . even if she didn't want to. Okay, so that was a total lie. She did want to, especially with Ryle, but what could she say? She was nervous about it actually happening. Ryle was going to have to REALLY convince her, or do something to make her not so nervous. What that was, she had no clue. She just knew that it was going to have to be more than just asking . . . which he never really did anyway. Ask to have sex with her, that is.

It just kind of progressed to that point. Addie would come over to spend the night and they would start kissing, and soon enough Ryle would have a boner and they'd start taking each others clothes off. She was comfortable enough around him to be naked in front of him . . .but for some reason she never let it get any further than that. She'd stop him once he tried to reach for a rubber, and just cuddle up with him. At least, she would cuddle with him once he got off. Depending on the situation, she could be an evil little b***h. In a good mood, she'd help him out with his "little" problem in whatever way he wanted her to, excluding actual penetration. Addie wasn't a big fan of giving blow-jobs .. . but Ryle was a very sexual person, that much she knew for sure, so she figured if she wasn't giving him what was his favorite thing to do, then she at least had to compensate for it. But if she wasn't feeling that generous . . she'd just make him do it himself. And then of course she would smile, give him a kiss and cuddle up to him, still naked, so that they could go to sleep.

Addie absolutely loved PDA with her boyfriend. And the 'P' could stand for Private or Public. She really loved just sitting next to him with his arms wrapped around her . . or her using his chest as a pillow when they slept. And what made it even better was that she knew that she was the only one he had patience enough to do that with. If she was any other girl, he would have dumped her by now. But because she knew he wouldn't do that, at least she hoped he never would, she was attempting to drag this out as long as possible. Of course her plan failed epically. Ryle was getting impatient, and he took her away from what was saving her from having to deal with the battle that was going on in her head. She set herself up for it though. Spending the night at your boyfriends house was not the best way to tell him you weren't looking to have sex. If she was being smart about it, she would insist that they hang out at her house, where her brother would keep a close watch on them. Ryle's parents. . . well they probably wouldn't care if Addie and Ryle started going at it on the kitchen table. Speaking of which . . . Addie wondered for a second as they made it into the basement, what that would be like?

She cursed herself for already giving in when he hadn't even done anything but bring her down to his lair. Ryle's dirty mind had rubbed off on her over the years, which was not helping her argument in her mind. Currently, the better side of her mind was telling her to ******** Ryle ((not literally)) and watch the movie. The other side was winning though. The side that was saying to forget the movie and ******** Ryle ((quite literally)). Damn him and his ways of convincing her to want to do things with him, without even saying a word! That just went to show that she honestly did want it to happen. But just because she wanted it and he wanted it, didn't mean that she was going to let it happen. She could hold out as long as possible! With . . . of course, the movie. Addie just had to find one . . . one that would help in the plan that she spontaneously thought of. She'd watch Dawn of the Dead. Ryle had tried to get her to watch the movie before, but she wouldn't do it, Why? Because she thought it was terrible and boring. And she kind of knew how Ryle's brain worked and what would come with that.

Watching in now might bring along what he had hoped to accomplish originally . .. but at least she would have fun torturing him before they got to that point, and prevent his point from getting (in)to her. Besides. . . she wanted to get back at him for the porn anyway. Like I said, Addie was the jealous type. She wasn't fond of Ryle getting off to videos of slutty girls that had nothing better to do with themselves then to sell sex scenes that were totally filled with bullshit. Plus, that type of stuff was supposed to be PRIVATE, a part of the reason she didn't want to have sex in Ryle's basement. Addie was sure his parents would randomly walk into the room while they were at it and they would just start up a whole conversation. And that was a big NO in Addie's book. But if Ryle was going to get off to videos .. . then it needed to be a video of HER not some other whore. Given the choice, Addie would find all the people Ryle had sex with and shoot them. She was crazy jealous, even if she didn't show ALL of her jealousy. Even when they were only friends. . .when she'd heard his stories of girls he'd screwed, she'd felt like kicking some chicks in the uterus, and castrating some guys. But she was far too sweet to do any of those things outside of her mind.

At least to people other than Ryle. She could be evil with Ryle. He loved her too much to stay mad for a long period of time. And playing with Ryle this way, depriving him of the things she knew that he liked, was evil. Only it was fun . . and fair. Because Ryle did the same thing to her, only not quite in the same way. They both had their ways of teasing each other. Addie had put the movie in, and it had started playing. And she started doubting watching this movie. Ryle knew as well and she did that she couldn't sit down and watch the most entertaining movie in the world without doing something else. Which is why she hadn't seen very many movies in their entirety, and why when she watched movies with Ryle, they most likely never even looked at the screen. And this movie in particular was not going to hold her interest. Nonetheless, she would try and watch the whole thing . . . because she was making them have a 'normal' date . . in his basement.

Okay, so that was never going to happen. Already things were happening that wouldn't happen on a normal date. Addie was pretty sure that after she'd kissed him and went to lay down, Ryle thought he was getting something else. Ha! Like she was going to blow him right when she got to his house. If he wanted to THINK she would. . . well then he was just asking for disappointment. . . . When she ended up spending the night at Ryle's house, they never did anything too sexual. Did they kiss? Yeah, definitely. But if she allowed them to do anymore than that, things would get heated, Ryle would get a boner, and she wouldn't let him stick it in her. And that always left him grumpy. So Addie honestly tried to find things for them to do that wouldn't lead to any of that. However Ryle could find a way to turn any situation at any place into something sexual. This time of course, it was her that was making it sexual. But the difference was, she wasn't going to act on it. And if Ryle was in her situation, she was sure that HE would act on it.

Addie was kind of wondering what Ryle was going to say before she interrupted him with her statement, to which he laughed at. She turned so that she was lying on her back and looking up at him, then put on a cogitative expression, as if she was debating on what method to use to get his lap harder. "Hmmmm. I will have to adjust that, won't I?"[ She commented, raising her eyebrows. She sat up for a moment . . and definitely was not going to 'adjust' his lap the way he might have been hoping she would. No, when she sat up, it wasn't to start feeling on Ryle. Instead, she got up off of the couch and walked over to Ryle's bed, looking for her favorite pillow. She looked over at Ryle, grinning, and said "Yep, I know exactly how to adjust it how I like it". She soon found the pillow she normally slept on, if she wasn't using Ryle's shoulder or chest as her pillow, then skipped back to the couch and put the pillow in his lap.

"Ahhhh. Perfect" She commented as she laid back down, looking back towards the TV screen for a while. She was really watching the movie . . yet at the same time she wasn't. She could see moving on the screen, and was listening, but already her hyperactivity was kicking in. It hadn't even been thirty minutes and she was ready to do something else. . . . "I have a very important question for you, Ryle." She told him, turned her head to look up at Ryle. "Why the ******** do you even own this movie? I think we need to go out and get another one. You need new movies that aren't boring, and that don't have naked women in them. Yep I like that idea. Let's go." She stood up and held out her hand for him to take . . .even though he wouldn't want to go at all. Chances were Addie would change her mind about leaving in about two seconds anyway. Addie was just finding more ways to delay what she knew Ryle wanted . . . and was eventually going to ask her about. Either way, she wanted a different movie. Something scary.
