In my dishonesty I pretended I didn't notice anything at all.

In the amidst of paper shuffling, pencils scratching, and the jitterings of an old professor's words, the clocked ticked quietly away in it's spot above the vast chalkboard that took up a whole wall. As soon as the second-hand finally ticked it's way to the '12' number, the final minute was counted and it was finally '3 o'clock'. The professor noticed, and so he quickly wrapped up his speech with a quick cough and a few last words, before then swaying a hand as a sign that the students were dismissed. Yasu Kitayama let a small sigh creep out from in-between, slightly parted lips; feeling a sense of accomplishment inside himself as he has completed yet another day of class. His dominant hand started placing his pencil, pen, and eraser away into the small pencil pouch that sat off to the side - and once done his other hand zipped the pouch shut before throwing it into a compartment of his messenger bag. Afterward, he flipped his notebook shut, its black-and-white checkered patterned cover now on top, and then Yasu placed the notebook away into his bag as well. Today was Friday, one of the three days of the week in which he did not have anymore classes after his '12 to 3' class was over and done with. Though he wasn't planning on going home right away, Yasu had other plans for the day - such as work.

As he rose from his seat, slugging his messenger bag's strap over his shoulder, the singer took out his flip-phone from the pocket of his gray jacket (though it was early fall, still hot at least, it was very chilly in the classrooms and their hallways). The screen had an alert window, signaling that he had six new emails (or text messages, whichever works) that he received during class. So as the students started filing out of the class, Yasu followed with the flow with one hand in his pocket, the other checking the emails at the same time. Upon checking the emails, he found that two of them were from his manager, two were just spam, one was from his mother reminding him to eat dinner, and the last one was from a co-worker mentioning if they should go out tonight and hang out since their schedules for the day matched up. Speaking of his schedule, this afternoon to evening, Yasu was scheduled to do some outdoor photo shooting for a magazine about the entertainment realm and whatnot. The photo shoot also included Kazuyori Fujiie to be featured in with Yasu; in which, this Kazuyori is the very-same co-worker who messaged Yasu asking about dinner. While the two were soloists in the same entertainment company, the two have been close for years.

Right as he walked outside of the classroom building he was in, Yasu had stood at the base of the staircase and started typing a quick message in reply to his friend's:

                    ►To: Kazu-kun
                    ►From: Yasu
                    ►Subject: Re: Dinner?

                    Sure, that's cool with me.
Since we have that photo shoot together, we can go after we're done. Your treat? :)

A simple, small smile was traced onto his lips as he hit the 'send' button, watching as the screen flashed a cute animation of a mail being zoomed off. Once that was done, and a 'Message was sent' appeared on his cellphone's screen, Yasu flipped the phone shut and tucked it back away into his pocket. After that he started to pick up his feet and started walking away, now coming closer to getting off college grounds. On the other side of the college gates, he couldn't help but stop in his tracks and notice the flood of people around on the sidewalks and the road. That's right, he remembered, around this time of the day the high school that was only a block away, was also done with classes for the day. So around this time, if the students weren't participating in after-school clubs and activities, they would go home and the road was crowded.

A little too crowded... Yasu mentally told himself as he was caught up by a few students who noticed who he was right off the bat. Now while he was still a newbie to the entertainment world, he did have a solid fanbase of admirers and fans; and with the paparazzi around it wasn't hard to figure out where Yasu was attending college as a part-time student (his mother insisted that he should still attend school in case his career fails on him). Though it was never bad at all, he was still given his privacy and was never too bothered by fangirls and whatnot. He's a human being too, after all.

Eventually, after at least a good ten-minute walk, the soloist arrived at the steps of a subway station. While he was legal to drive, it was sometimes easier just walking and using the subway as a sense of transportation - driving was usually more dangerous, especially in city streets. Now he had an all-day train ticket, that Yasu had brought earlier this morning, so he easily slipped in through, passing numerous of people, and waited against a pillar for his specific train to drop by in. From looking at one of his previous emails from his manager, he already knew where he was going for the outdoor photo shooting today - which was going to start at 5 o'clock to accommodate his and everyone's schedules. The photo shoot was, according to the email and from the location spot, was going to take outdoors in a famous, large park in the city. It was suppose to fit the theme of the interview - that he was scheduled for later - about the upcoming changing seasons from summer to fall, and about his upcoming plans for the near-future.

Eventually the train came zooming into the subway station, and everyone in the station was given about ten minutes to board before the doors would shut and the train would leave to it's next destination. It was only about three stops later, in which Yasu finally reached his. He filed out of the train, following the rest of the crowd, and eventually made his way out from the underground subway station; and not far from where the subway entrance, was the park where Yasu saw a small crowd beginning to form around it. Walking nearer to the park, he could see cameras, lighting shades, and many people here and there in the park. And, as usual, there would be a yellow tape around the area that blocked fans from getting into the photo shoot site.

Once he met up with his manager, said a few greetings towards the camera cast for today, he sat down in a chair next to his co-worker.
"Hey, I hope you're still up for dinner?" Yasu smiled at Kazuyori, just as he felt a woman clip his bangs back in order to fix up his make-up for the shoot.

          Even if you live carefully,
isn't your heart searching for a stimulus?

Rain splashed and dropped itself onto the transparent, thin-layered umbrella that covered Yara Ayukawa from the current weather conditions. Actually, more like it barely covered the man, because he was beginning to feel his right shoulder slightly heavier from some of the rain drops starting to soak his jacket. While his left hand was holding onto the handle of his umbrella, his right hand was busy adjusting the long, black-and-white striped scarf around his neck; making sure the cloth covered most of his face. Since he was a famous soloist, it was easy to by-pass fans and unwanted attention if people didn't notice his presence. Actually, since it is pouring so badly, most people were too busy paying attention to making sure they didn't get wet rather than people they passed by.

Then he occasionally checked his leather messenger bag to make sure it wasn't getting wet. Wet leather was an a**, not to mention his prized lyrics sheets were inside. Eventually, Yara was turning around the corner and onto the street of which is apartment complex was located at. While in the day time, when the sun is shining and clouds are clear, this street was a rather busy street with people going to and fro. Though, at night, the single club just around the corner was just enough to gather people of the shadows.

Arriving at the correct complex building, Yara was about to enter it before he noticed something at the alley way between his apartment building and the next building over. Normally he would have passed the alley way, and into the building, if it wasn't for a lone, messy, soaked figure just sitting. And for a moment, he almost thought he saw a shine of red in the other's eyes - almost like one of the unnatural. It wasn't as though Yara felt pity for the man sitting on the floor, but at the same time he felt like he didn't want to leave just like this.

So just like that; Yara turned and walked a few paces until he was right in front of the soaked man. "I guess this world is a bit unfair, isn't it," It was more of a statement than a question when Yara crouched down, to meet eye-level, as he spoke quietly. With a small smile on his lips, Yara just unwound the scarf around himself, before throwing it around the other man; and then he held out the umbrella and set it over the other man. Now the rain was starting to fall onto Yara, soaking himself all over. "See you," He wasn't sure if he would ever meet this homeless again, since most often guys like these didn't even care about the world anymore. But at least Yara tried; so he moved to stand back up in preparation to walk away.

The grand room was absolutely soundless - well - minus the pencil-on-paper scratching noises, the sound of the wind blowing through white curtains at wide-opened windows, and an old man's lecture voice booming and echoing to the front and back of the classroom. So, in actuality, when one took notice of those minor noises buzzing around; the classroom was not as quiet as it seems. Not to mention, Aiden mentally noted, that the classroom seemed to be very uninterested in the lecture today... As usual. It was just another day in class, another day in the big city, another unruly teenager that wondered - for the umpthmillionth time - why he even bothered to attend class today.

His chin rested against the palm of his hand; the hand to the elbow that was on top of his lined-papers; binder papers that had somewhat messy scribbles of notes and information written on them. Then, dazed, blue colored eyes eyeballed the classroom out of pure boredom - also, it was better than staring at some ugly, wrinkly, old professor for three hours straight. Though in Aiden's eyes, they were clouded with uninterested as he stared at one classmate, then another, and other. No one in particular was doing much... As usual.

Finally, what felt like suspenseful hours leading to the end of time, a bell 'ding'-ed five times, signaling the dismissal of class. Also, with luck on his side today, it was also the dismissal of the last class he had for today. Eager to leave, Aiden picked up his backpack, and plopped it on the empty corner of his desk area. Immediately one hand unzipped the backpack, held it's mouth open, and the other hand started to throw papers, writing utensils, and whatever else he had on his desk into the abyss of his backpack. Just when he was zipping the bag closed, a shadow loomed over him; and made Aiden tilt his head upwards to catch sight of who was standing next to him and his desk.

Upon looking, he saw a petite, slim-figured, long, blond, curly-haired girl. He doesn't remember at all, but he was pretty sure she was one of his fellow classmates.
"Hey, Aiden, do you have any other classes to go to? If not, maybe we could go out and get something to eat together?" The girl was all fidgety, eyes planted at the ground (as if a speck of dirt on the ground was the most interesting thing she has ever set eyes on - and Aiden would believe that), and her hands behind her back as she attempted to look.. 'cute'.

The first thing the brunette thought was,
How in the hell does she know my name?
As far as he knew and could remember, he has never spoken a word to her or even set eyes on the female student even once. It really annoyed him when strangers just walk up to him, assuming he knows them - much or less - give a world's damn care about them. Now all irritated and feeling edgy, Aiden abruptly rose from his seat, forcing the girl to move out of his way before his taller, massive body pushed her out of his way. "I'll pass, I don't really want to hang out with a creep that knows my name even though I've never seen them before."

With that, he slid passed the girl - full of shock and dismay at Aiden's rude inputs - and the brunette quickly sped out of the classroom. Most likely he just made some new enemies right now, though the teenager didn't pay too much attention on that minor detail; it was something he was used to for the last - what? - twenty years he's been living. "Tch..." A small, dreary sigh escaped from slightly parted lips, and a hand brushed through messy brown locks, as Aiden left campus grounds and into the busy streets of the grand city.

Normally, he would go kill time wandering about in the city - maybe even going over to the north side of town to visit the ocean. But, after that small incident, Aiden felt utterly irritated and just wanted to be left alone. Today, though, he decided to relieve himself of some stress by throwing a few punches at his personal sand-bag back at home; then, maybe afterward, work on school papers. So, Aiden turned around corners, headed down one-or-two streets, and eventually came to a bus stop. Paying for a ticket and then boarding the bus, he took a hold of the one of the latches hanging from the top of the bus - used to balance himself as he stood during the ride back to his home.
