[Naomi the Shadow Wolf]

-Storyline-

Caligo is an old city that can trace it's roots back to the American Revolution. It has long stood against the sands of time and went from a small village to a city of millions over the course of more then two hundred years. Like any city it has known evil for it is impossible for all humans to walk a path of light. This city in particular is the home to not just humans, but another race as well. A race found in my legends in myths. What is this race you ask?

Vampires.

For decades the vampires who lived within the city have coincided with the human. They all answered to the elder of their clan who valued retaining life. So when the vampires were to feed, they would not kill their victim. To kill their victim would result it brutal punishment. Things would have continued like this if not for the fact the elder passed away. Unlike some believed, vampires did not live forever and could eventually die of old age. The elder had long been escaping death's cold embrace, but in the end he had succumb to it.

With the elder's dead the place of power fell to his son, Cabot Dreadren. Cabot did not share his father's value when it came to life. The way he saw it, the humans were inferior beings and merely sheep to the superior race of vampires. So he lifted the law set in by his father that prevented vampires from killing their victims. Many vampires sided with Cabot's beliefs and soon Caligo city was being stained in blood. Many deaths were happening all over the city with the same cause of death.....their blood completely drained and duel puncture marks on their neck.

-Separating Myth and Truth-

- Vampires don't live forever. Average life span is about five hundred years. They retain their youthful appearance well into their 400's. Only as they reach the final few decades of their life do they final start to show their age.
-There are a few classes of vampires. Some common ones are . . . .

Pure Bloods- These are vampires that can trace their linage back to the first vampires. They are the strongest of the race but the weakest against sunlight. They tend to live the longest to because of their blood purity.
Half Bloods- These are vampire who are half pure blood and half Verto or human. Ones that are half human tend to be weaker then normal vampires but they can be out in the sun for long periods of time before they actual feel any weakness or discomfort. .
Verto- These are vampires who were once human and were turned into vampires. They are looked down upon by other vampires as the lowest level. They are also the weakest of vampires although sun has little to no affect on them.
